• Petr (9/5): - After 1,5 years we came to Bintang again, I guess it says it all. Last time my only complaint was about the mattresses, now they have new ones and they are wonderful. Breakfast, garden, beach, pool - all great again. Just too many boats with day trippers coming to Lipah to watch the turtles and it does not feel very safe.

It was on the quiet end of the beach directly in front of excellent snorkeling. There were several good restaurants in easy walking distance. Nothing to report.

The hotel grounds are a cramped, narrow strip, and the beach in front was filthy, littered with trash and tangled fishing nets. While the staff smiles constantly, they are unhelpful as every request becomes a problem. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast; otherwise, a total disappointment.

• Donna (10/5): What a gem of a place! - Everything. The bungalows very clean and spacious, breakfast was great, and Adi and the team were fabulous. Amazing snorkelling only a few metres from the shore… swimming daily amongst hundreds of different reef fish and turtles was def a highlight of my stay. Nothing, it was all great.

It was a good location for snorkeling; the beach in front of the hotel is as good as it gets in Bali. There are some shops and restaurants and spa close to villas. Villas need deep reparations, and the internet is very bad. I think a maximum of three days is okay to stay there; after that, it can get a little hard and boring.

• Andyandfozzie (10/5): Totally recommend this place. - The beach was awesome. The kids saw some turtles in the water while snorkelling. (not far from shore) The breakfast was lovely, and there were lots of amazing restaurants to choose from. The locals took my son and hubby fishing, and they caught a mahimahi, which they cooked up into a traditional dinner for us on the beach. The spa across from the hotel was amazing. Other local beaches were stoney - this one was not. There was some rubbish on the beach. This is the only negative I could think of.

• Cindy (9/5): Great value, nice location on the beach - The property location is on the beach. The bungalows are located on the property’s walking path to the beach. Our bungalow was spacious with a large covered porch. The bathroom we found typical of those in Bali which is open air in the shower area. The grounds are tropical and well kept. Breakfast was included and very good. The people were always kind and helpful. Just off the beach is nice coral and lots of fish with the water not being too deep. There is a small fridge and electric tea kettle in the room for morning tea or coffee (actually Nestle 3, which is a powered mixture of hot chocolate, coffee and sweetener) which we liked. There is a wonderful spa for massages just across the street that is excellent. We found nice local Warung/restaurants within walking distance. We definitely would go back. We enjoyed our stay on this property.

Kraan wasbak zat los, de zeepdispenser was gewoon te vies om aan te raken. Verder was er drinkwater in zo'n grote fles met een kraantje eraan half leeg/vol. Tja hoe lang stond dat al daar en er waren geen glazen om uit te drinken.

• Yvonne (10/5): Sandy Beach snorkle from beach - Bintang Beach Villa is an absolute gem. It’s officially a 3-star place, but the outlook and vibe are easily 5-star. The villas are huge, clean, and very comfortable, with great beds and a lovely outdoor shower. There’s a pool, it’s a small property so it’s super peaceful, and you can snorkel straight off the beach. Location is perfect — close to amazing local warungs and massages, but still quiet and relaxed. Adi is amazing — friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares that you’re happy without hovering. The whole team looked after us so well. Calm, simple, beautiful, and exactly what we wanted. We’ll absolutely be back. Thanks for taking such great care of us,

• Stuart (9/5): Beautiful location with a chilled, relaxing atmosphere. - The location, right on the beach was excellent. It’s very easy to stroll around the Lipah township. There is a very chill atmosphere and the pool was always a nice, cooling temperature. Breakfast was fine. Lovely staff.
• Udo (5/5): Viel Luft nach oben - Nähe zu Eurodiver und Restaurant Sabar Frühstück war allenfalls der Versuch eines Frühstücks. "Toast" süss und pappig, das Ganze mit gesalzener Butter bzw. Spiegeleiern. Der Hunger trieb es rein; meine Frau griff auf Früchte zurück. Kaffee mit hohem Feststoffanteil, dazu Frucht"saft", gut verdünnt! Sorry, dann besser kein Frühstück includieren! Klimaanlage zu schwach ausgelegt; tagsüber nur mit mässigem Effekt, erreicht nie die Solltemperatur. Wasserdruck der Dusche inakzeptabel, mal abgesehen von der Wassertemperatur. Das alles geht zum gleichen Preis besser!

• Marco (7/5): Luft nach oben - Die Lage direkt am Strand ist wirklich toll. Schnorcheln direkt am Strand ist unschlagbar. Manager Adi ist sehr um jeden Gast bemüht, und hat eine sehr freundliche Art. Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen. Außer Adi versteht eigentlich niemand englisch, außerdem war das Frühstück leider unterdurchschnittlich. Glücklicherweise kann man in der Nachbarschaft wirklich gut essen.

• Andrea (6/5): Mooie locatie en goedkoop, dus veel kun je niet verwachten - De locatie en de prijs die je betaald zijn het beste aan de accommodatie. Je loopt zo de zee in en hebt geweldig snorkel gebied. Het ontbijt was ook prima. De tuin lag er mooi bij. De 4 sterren categorie vind ik niet helemaal passen bij de staat van het complex. Veel is verouderd, het wordt goed schoongemaakt maar doordat dingen niet goed werken of oud zijn oogt het niet netjes. Zo lekte de kraan van de wasbak, kon de douchekop wel vervanging gebruiken evenals het toilet. Het bed vond ik erg hard, maar dat is persoonlijk.
