• Xuan (1/5): Terrible, unbearable mechanical noise all night long - While the property itself was lovely, this was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve had in my life. There was a terrible noise inside the building from around 2am to 8am — it sounded like someone sawing wood nonstop. It may have been a washing machine or some other mechanical issue, but it was coming from within the building itself. The noise was incredibly loud, persistent, and impossible to escape. Not only did I get no sleep, but the constant noise genuinely felt torturous after hours of listening to it with no relief. I almost had to leave the property in the middle of the night. Every hour, I kept hoping it would stop, but it continued until broad daylight. I even took a 30-minute video recording between 7am–8am as proof, though the noise had already been going since 2am. This completely ruined my P-town visit and made the second day exhausting and unbearable. Honestly, I would really appreciate a refund.

• Allen (5/5): Adequate - Room was good. Had mini-split (heat and AC) and minifridge, as well as the standard stuff seen in any 2-star motel. Close to downtown P-Town. Went to office twice (two separate days), no one there. Never saw any staff. Shower small, same for sink and bathroom. Coffee was in a common room with pods (tea, regular and decaff, although no variety). Nothing else except for ice and water. Breakfast was two $5 chits for a 'provisions' store. We spent over double that amount for a bagel and pastry. Parking for 7 cars - not adequate for the number of people staying there. We arrived precisely at 3 PM (earliest stated arrival time) and got next to last parking slot. Another visitor, arriving at 3:30 was SOL.

Offers complimentary coupons to get coffee/bagels at Far Land provisions across the street, which was fantastic. It was not very soundproof so could hear the other guests, but is also part of the charm of such small-scale, boutique-style hotel

And free parking in the driveway. Welcoming delicious free cookies at arrival in the kitchen. Although check out was at 11am our key card and app stopped working before that. Luckily nice lady opened our door. If I had to knit pick, although we loved the outdoor hot bath it could have been hotter.

• Mark (9/5): A wonderful time with many things to do. - The property was very festive and ready for Christmas. It’s in a great location with many stores around. There were two small details that I need to mention. The first which is really no fault of the place itself, the walls and ceiling can be thin. I was on the first floor and the person who was on the second was constantly walking back-and-forth with heels. I could hear every move. This person was making. The other, when I went to go take a shower, there was a washcloth hanging from the showerhead. Obviously, it was a mistake from the cleaning staff, and they probably didn’t see it.

• Sabine (8/5): Geschmackvolles kleines Hotel in toller Lage. - Tolle Lage. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, zudem gibt es einem wunderschönen kleinen Innenhof mit Loungemöbeln und einem kleinen Wellness-Bereich. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel bietet kein Frühstück, beim einchecken erhält man aber Gutscheine für ein kleines Café, schräg gegenüber des Hotels gelegen. Im Wellness-Bereich gibt es leider keine Liegen im Innenbereich. Da wir im Oktober gereist sind und es lediglich Liegen im Außenbereich gibt, konnten wir uns nach der Sauna nicht hinlegen. Zudem gab es keinen Sauna-Duft.

• Ashley (8/5): Clean and convenient, but toilet area is TINY - This should have been a great place - the service was excellent, everything was clean, and the location was very convenient to activities on Commercial St. Unfortunately, the area around the toilet is extremely minimal. The wall and shower are almost up against each side of the toilet, making for an extremely cramped space. This curvy girl found that she could barely fit on the toilet. (I am pear shaped, and usually wear a size 12 dress.) Given that, I can only recommend this hotel to smaller travelers.

Our room also had issues with AC - couldn’t get the room any cooler than 72. Great location and very clean. Just wish I would have known the parking situation beforehand

• Matthew (10/5): Beautiful hotel, great stay - Beautiful, serene property. Great spa amenities. Convenient to everything on Commercial Street, but just far enough removed so it's still quiet. Plus our room was just steps away from all the deliciousness of Far Land Provisions, a short distance from Yolqueria and easy access to Cannery Wharf Park and the public beach. I could have used another towel hook and a couple more shelves in the bathroom. The room gets a bit of street noise, particularly the trash truck coming by early in the morning.

Ceiling in our room was leaking, toilet not working properly, and we found a pair of dirty underwear left behind that the cleaning team must have missed. Had to follow up with management after reporting the issue, after not getting a response when the issues were brought up. Besides the cleanliness, which might have been a fluke, we enjoyed our stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): A decent stay in Ptown - A solid stay in Ptown. Standout were both the hosts we me as well as the spa facilites. David offered us some lovely recommendations and Marc Anthony was just lovely and attentive. The spa area - hot tub, sauna and steam room - was a fab addition, very clean and well maintained, yet we didn't see anyone else using it! We had a whole afternoon using it to ourselves when we didn't fancy schlepping to the beach, just chilling in the sun, the hot tub and steam room in rotation. The location was also a sweet spot for us; 10 mins walk from the ferry, walkable to the main shops, bars and restaurants but set back enough for it the feel quiet and tucked away. In the room the bed was comfortable (a good mattress) and the bathroom was spacious. We did request an upper level room however I think the room type we booked (Deluxe Queen) meant we ended up on the lower level. That meant hearing every footstep and creaky floorboard from the movement of our upstair neighbours and the thumping of the exterior stairs being used. I understand that is down to this style of property and some may find a charm in that, unfortunately that's not for us. Overall the room was fine however it felt it was ready for some maintenance and upgrading, e.g. the entry door looked to have been patched up a number of times, didn't close as it should and actually just needs replacing. There was also a lot of corners for cobwebs to be left to gather which, again, can be put down to the charm of this style property

Really enjoyed the sauna and steam room and loved the communal areas, which were beautifully decorated and styled.. MarcAnthony was a wonderful host and we felt so looked after. Can’t wait to come back sometime.

• tracy (10/5): - The service that we received from the hotel staff and MarcAnthony was exceptional. They made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. This was the best guest experience that we’ve received from any Provincetown hotel.
• Maureen (8/5): - Clean , clean , clean. Nice condition property and everything looks fresh and clean . It’s right off the main drag and all the restaurants and shops are less than a block away . I would call out that there is limited parking, so you may have to go down to one of the municipal spots for 25-30 per day .
• Marian (10/5): - Loved our stay at the Ellery! The rooms are charming and recently renovated. The outdoor space, plus hot tub and sauna are nice amenities for relaxing. From the Ellery it’s a 3 minute walk to Commercial St, which is so convenient. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff and meeting Marc Anthony. He gave us the best recommendations and totally got our vibe. We will definitely be back!

• Fiona (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel with the comforting environment of a guest house. - Location was perfect - easy access to Commercial Street and nearby bike rental (Provincetown Bike Rental). Loads of restaurants/bars/shops/galleries nearby. The rooms are nicely separated giving it a more secluded feeling. The bedroom was super spacious and the bathroom had a huge two person shower. The general manager Mark Anthony was a delight! So helpful and welcoming - gave us great tips for Race Point Beach and the Breakwater (both of which we highly recommend!) Wonderful amenities- hot tub/sauna/steam room. Bed could have been more comfortable for the quality of the rest of the hotel. Apart from that no notes!
• Joe (10/5): Great location, great amenities and the owners were very welcoming! Loved this place. - I loved the location, it was central to everything! I loved the hot tub, I loved the sauna and I loved the steam room! I loved the sheets on the bed , super comfortable! We had a little issue with the TV, but the owner came over and was able to fix the connection and it worked fine the rest of our stay. The owners made us feel at home and told us of all the events going on in the city. I cannot wait to stay here again!! Everything was excellent!

• Joseph (8/5): Charming and cozy - This is a quaint, comfortable and cozy place to stay in Provincetown. It is near the eastern edge of Commercial Street and an easy walk to that popular thoroughfare. My friend and I stayed in separate rooms, choosing a mid-May weekend ahead of the busy summer season. This was my first time in Provincetown. The hotel is very well kept and charming. The room I stayed in was small but still perfect for me. The bed was clean and comfortable; its en suite was a bit tight but still just about right. The common area on the first floor is very homey and welcoming. There was some confusion on both ends regarding check-in, but the person I spoke with on the phone quickly cleared things up. All in all, I would highly recommend The Ellery as a place to stay in Provincetown.

• Lukas (7/5): Good - Charming place with great Provincetown vibes and a beautiful location. However, the bed could be more comfortable, and there are not enough parking spaces for all guests – a major downside. Also, no safe in the room.
