Guest Reviews
- Suheyla (10/5): - Room is very clean, lake view is a huge plus. Check-in was very easy, staff is polite and helpful. The golf course is beautiful. Parked the car and take the golf cart to reach out to your room, nice experience. 5 star!
- Karin (8/5): - We were surprised that there is no internet in the cottage..and that the TV s only work if you are subscribed to streaming services...which we are not. You cant beat the view...and the golf cart was pretty cool.
- dana (10/5): - Awesome place. Highly recommend for golf and enjoyment of the lake.
- Heather (10/5): - We loved everything about this place! Our 1st golf resort we’ve stayed at!
I loved the views of Lake Champlain.
The staff at the front desk/pro shop were so friendly and accommodating. We are trying to gather our whole family to go next year.
- Joanne (10/5): - This will be a resort where we plan to come back every year due to the amenities this place has. We all loved the cottage! It was comfortable, clean, and had both heat and cooling system which we were worried about in the first place. The kitchen was fully equipped so our stay was easier when we could cook and clean on site. They gave us two golf carts which the kids had so much fun riding in them with us. Will definitely come back again!
- Kelli (10/5): - I think our stay wasn't typical for most guests since we booked for the night before Freshman move-in day at Plattsburgh University. However, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely pleasant.
Using a golf cart to access the cabin was a fun twist that my daughter enjoyed. We stayed in one of the "duplex" cabins. It was very clean and obviously updated but still rustic. All the amenities I could hope for were there, except for a coffee maker.
We used the queen bed and the sofa bed. Both were comfortable. We didn't use the TV, so I can't comment on reception or streaming. The bathroom was very clean and updated.
They are located just out of town and I found it to be very convenient. I will likely be staying with them again in the future.
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent, no complaints!
- Ya (10/5): - Nice location, great view, quiet, safe.
- Kim (10/5): - My son has Autism & can become over stimulated. We had Lake front beach to ourselves! He loved running back & forth the entire length. He loved driving around in the golf cart. He loved everything because he enjoys tge outdoors & we spent most of our time outside. It was an amazing base camp to our daily adventures!
- JIHONG (10/5): - Staying at this resort was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Nestled right in the middle of a stunning golf course, the setting was like something out of a dream. Upon arrival, I simply parked my car at the reception, loaded my luggage onto a golf cart, and was driven straight to my room — such a fun and refreshing way to begin my stay!
The golf course itself was so breathtaking that I ended up playing a round the next day, even though I hadn’t originally planned to. Everything about the resort — from the scenery to the service — made the entire experience special. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
- Paul (10/5): - Beautiful location. Exceptional maintenance and staff. Could not have asked for more
- Mary Jo (8/5): Nice for a rustic golf trip - Drive your suitcase in your golf cart down to the cluster of cabins. The “party boys” can be loud in the evenings. The room is as pictured, clean and comfy. Limited food for breakfast before morning golf: room has fridge and microwave, and there’s a snack bar at golf course for coffee.
- Lisa (10/5): - We really enjoyed how quiet it was. Our little cabin was very comfortable. We brought a fan because there is no AC but it was fine. We were close to the lake, which was very nice. The room was very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We definitely would stay again.
- Erin (10/5): - Great stay
- Julie (10/5): - Beautiful property on the lake with mountain views, great coffee, and quiet, clean lodging. Sunsets were beautiful and staff friendly and helpful. I'll be back!
- Brian (10/5): - Everything was great. Although the day we went was 93 degrees and the cabins don’t have AC. We made it work with a small fan purchase from Walmart :)
- Charles (10/5): Awesome little peaceful cottages - I'm not going to say too much about it other than they are little cottages that you rent that are tucked away off the fairway on the golf course surrounded by trees. Nice, quiet, peaceful...
You've got to check in between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and if you can't you got to call them so they'll have your hotel room key and golf cart waiting.
Yes you have to take a golf cart down to your cottage. Did you have fire pits in an outdoor grill for each cottage. It really just is a beautiful little peaceful place to stay.
- Crystal (10/5): - These cabins are just lovely. Quiet, great views, and getting around on a golf cart is fun even for the non-golfers like me :-)
- Mark (10/5): - The staff, especially Paul at check-in and Gary the next day who prepared coffee and later, a fabulous bloody Mary were perfect. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. I'm reluctant to share my thoughts because I don't want them booked up the next time I want to stay!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Last minute - We had been overbooked and found this gem last minute!
Stayed in a one room first night and then bigger cabin second night and both were great!
- jamey (8/5): - Fabulous stay and loved the golf cart
- Rabindra (8/5): Nice place but go prepared. - Nice cottage and view. Friendly staffs. No breakfast nor tea, coffee pods. No hair dryer. No kids books. no cart path lights for night driving. No dish sponges, soap or pods. Found mouse inside our room.
- Matthew (10/5): - Why would anyone stay in a hotel where you wake up to a parking lot full of traffic when you can see the sun rise over Lake Champlain for less money?
Bluff point was everything I’d hoped and more. Getting to the room via golf car was a nice fun bonus.
Highly recommend.
- Ashley (10/5): - The cottage could use to be updated, especially the bed, but we had no complaints - very cozy and quiet, full kitchen though limited selection of cookware. Bring your own salt/pepper/cooking oil etc. We didn’t golf but it’s an absolutely beautiful property right on the 4th hole fairway with a view of the water and saw the sunrise. A short walk down to the beach. Very nice to have the front patio to sit out on, and the fire pit and charcoal grill though we didn’t end up using them. Would definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Beautiful views. Golfers delight. - No ice machine or drinking glasses. The view was beautiful.
- Susan (10/5): - We had to drive a golf cart to our cottage which was fun! It was right by the Lk Champlain shore/beach. Amazing views!
- francis (4/5): - Room is dirty. Ceiling fan has heavy layer of dust, and cobwebs hanging. TV does not work. No internet service. Pave that you must drive golf cart down to access room is unlit. Golf cart has no headlights so you are endangering yourself when driving. Would not recommend this place.
- Bruce (10/5): - These cottages are on a golf course with lake views. You have to drive a golf cart from the club house to your cottage. Be prepared for weather or darkness as golf carts do not have headlights! Great cottages!
- Susan (10/5): - Interesting transportation to the cottage. Beautiful scenery on the lake.
- Nancy (8/5): - Beautiful location
- janet (6/5): - You will be taking the golf cart to your room. Guy next door was using a hammer drill to wash golf balls until 11 pm. Shook the whole building. No coffee in the room, you need to wait until the office opens to buy a cup.
- Gary (2/5): Don't Book Here if a Traveller. - Terrible. Place closes down at 5:30pm so absolutely useless dor travelers. Saw another couple buzzing around in a golf cart after dark looking for their cabin with a hand drawn map trying to find it.
We just left as we arrived 6:30pm. None of this was advertised.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - We found it really inconvenient not having access to WIFI in our cabin, because we needed to log into do some work when we checked in!
But cabin was clean and comfy, check in was friendly, would stay again if wifi wasn't needed!
- Wayne (8/5): - Beautiful location. Unique property. We would stay there again!
- Virginia (10/5): - I found the gold pot at the end of the rainbow! The place, setting, and people are just terrific!
- Valda (10/5): - Everything is clean and beautiful. No food available but available nearby.
- Dawn (10/5): - The Staff were excellent & very informative & helpful. We will definitely be back in the Spring!!!
- Christopher (10/5): - Very nice place room was nicely furnished and super clean love the golf course next to the lake.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.
- Amy (10/5): - Went there for a night to celebrate a birthday! It was excellent! It was very relaxing and the property was beautiful! Will be back again for sure 🙂
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing - Amazing place. Would definitely recommend
- Pam (10/5): Adventure - This was a great place for an adventure with my son.
- Karen (10/5): - Cute cabins: fire pit and picnic table just off the covered porch. Parking near Pro Shop: drive a golf cart to your cabin (a first for us)! This was a bit of a challenge after dinner (dark) yet there are reflectors on path. Small private beach area with great views of the lake. So quiet :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Relaxing long weekend, enjoyed our view of lake Champlain. Would book our next stay to include golf, the course is beautiful!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cabin was not very clean. Old furniture and appliances.
- Christine (10/5): The sunrises on the lake are amazing - My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. We both enjoyed it a lot. Wish i had seen they had combination packages for golf and the cabin, we would have done this instead. The room was very clean and comfortable. We even bought some firewood at a local gas station and had a fire down by the beach! A very relaxing weekend just what we needed, using the golf cart to get to the cabin was a nice change. After dark a bit of a challenge be sure to take a flashlight!
- Dawn (8/5): - The location was great, the employees were friendly and accommodating. the cabin needed to be thoroughly cleaned, I didn’t think they had clean bedding on the bed.
- KAB (6/5): - Full disclosure: you are NOT staying in a hotel. In my opinion, after reading the listing, i believed we were staying in an actual hotel. You are not. We arrived and were greeted very kindly and could not have asked for better service. It was outstanding! That sais, imagine my surprise when i heard we would need a golf cart to get to our room. Excuse me? Fast forward after a very quick and flawless check-in, we were on our way to our room. Nope, it wasn't a hotel room, but instead a cabin located between the 5th and 6th fairway. A cabin with four individual rooms. For an uninsulated cabin, it was clean . The bathroom was the most up-to-date part of the room, even modern looking. In every other aspect, we were "glamping". The mattress was very soft and actually rolled my husband and me to the center...pretty close quarters. Lol. There is a heater in the cabin, but be warned, if it is a cold night, your cabin will be cold in the morning if you don't crank up the temperature. In the end, we chalked this up as an adventure. A very expensive adventure because of the non hotel conditions. What I will tell you is that the BEST part of our stay was the surrounding views. Holy cow, gorgeous!! Would we stay here again? If we were here to play golf, absolutely! However, as a person passing through on a trip, I would not elect to stay here again. Getting to our room, transporting luggage so far away...it was just a lot of extra work. And, we are not campers and this was a cabin.
- Holly (8/5): - Unique and peaceful. A relaxing cabin in the trees near lake Champlain. A few pleasant surprises, such as driving myself to my room in a golf cart. Pack lightly so you don't make unnecessary trips back and forth to your vehicle! Definitely we will return!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - First off we travelled from Canada which means we have to pass the US border so after 6 pm there is no one but at least you are told instructions on a golf cart which are not very clear if your room is in the back area but we eventually found it. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was that there were a fridge and microwave that were not plugged in. The room was clean in appearance there was a tv if you wanted to watch something. The toilet was very low to the ground and there was very little water in it which worried me but it worked at least. For two people we were provided two body towels one hand cloth one facecloth one bar of soap which we used to wash our hand after going to the toilet and a shampoo conditioner mix. We wanted to have a shower, in the shower there is a bar but no bath anti-slip mat. Now I am 35 years old I have never slipped in a tub in my entire life but I guess there is always a first because I put one foot inside the tub and the sleek surface caused me to slip. Luckily, considering I am 7 months pregnant I fell on my side and my husband rushed to try to catch me but I ended up doing like the splits and scraped myself slightly below the hip. I ended up spending a good part of the night putting cold compresses with a facecloth I had the forethought to bring because my groin area was paining me. Anyways, suffice it to say I still had to pay up the rest of the cost of the room which I feel is a lot for what we are getting and I told the office.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Golf-Course cabin - We stayed in a cabin-like room right on the golf course. We could see Lake Champlain through the trees. Driving the golf cart to our room in the dark from our car was fine but would have been a challenge if the downpour hadn't stopped.
- Moshany (6/5): young crowd place - Great place for a golfer and young people. The cabins are a bit better than a summer camp. Not a good idea on cold and rainy dates. heat is not sufficient. No WiFi and no room service. For a place that is charging a full hotel pricing, I should expect more. Front desk is helpful .
- Daniel (8/5): Good from far, far from good. - Beautiful surrounding. Great customer service. The cot itself was not great. Dirty old carpet. Squeaky bed. Old dirty broken fridge.
- Jessica (10/5): Hidden gem - Loved our stay at this hidden little gem. The cabins were rustic but comfortable. Getting around by golf cart was super fun and we loved being able to build a fire by the beach and just relax under the stars. Can't wait to go back and actually play the beautiful course next time!
- Linda (10/5): Great place to stay! - We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! We do not golf but that didn't matter. The cabins are located in the middle of the golf course and they give you a cart to get back and forth to your cabin. Every cabin has a fire pit and we enjoyed that both nights. Beautiful grounds right on the water. The area is great for hiking and outdoors activities. We also brought our dog which was the best part! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet get away and if you're a golfer even better!
- eugenia (10/5): Beautiful sorroundings, comfortable place - The resort is a simple cabin in the middle of a golf course with enough but basic amenities that provide the necesary comfort for a great, nature-close stay away from anyurban site.
