Guest Reviews
- Teresa (8/5): Excellent service easy check in/ out. Would recommend! - Convenient location, good free breakfast Kind of basic and the pool was very small.
- Jennifer (7/5): - The mattress was so comfy, the location was super convenient for heading to Spare Lanes in Northampton but also to bring fella to work. The pillows went flat, but luckily they provide plenty. So I'd say that the water pressure in shower is only real complaint. It's not great, but it worked. I'd say like a 4/10 for water pressure

- Cobb (7/5): - Pool water looked looked gross and and like it needed to be refreshed.

- Christina (10/5): I would recommend over and over - Very clean
Friendly staff
Room was nice Nothing
- Amber (4/5): Convenient location but won’t be choosing this hotel again. - There was a McDonalds and chipotle in the same plaza and a CVS across the street was very convenient. When I got to my room it smelled like feet. Then when I went to take a shower there was mold on the tub and hair in the drain prevented draining
- James (8/5): Two night stay - Beds were comfortable. Breakfasts were good. Something for all tastes. Thought it was a bit overpriced and the taxes are absolutely crazy.
- Richard (10/5): -
- LeeR81 (10/5): A solid choice! - We have stayed here twice over the span of a couple of years and both times it has been a very good experience. Rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean. Front desk staff is pleasant and breakfast is good. What more could you ask for?!
- Hall (3/5): - There was little to no hot water.
- Nuclearmomb (2/5): NO HOT WATER the entire weekend - Our family had a very disappointing stay during a recent college family weekend. There was NO HOT WATER in the shower or sink during our entire weekend stay, so we were unable to even take showers at the hotel. I also did not feel comfortable eating breakfast there knowing items were likely not being sanitized without hot water. From speaking with different front desk managers, this seems a regular occurrence with water troubles; they honestly seemed frustrated and powerless over the ONGOING WATER ISSUES at the property, made worse by a busy weekend. We had additional issues with the tub and sink upon arrival- a plumber was sent in to repair it while we were out, and tracked wet and filthy footprints throughout the bathroom; when I had requested it be cleaned, was told housekeeping was gone; so I ended up mopping it up myself. Shockingly bad experience for a $600 weekend (we received a $50 credit for our inconvenience). Marriott/Fairfield Inns were our hotel of choice when traveling with my family for years, but the brand has been so inconsistent that I hesitate to ever stay in them again.
- Nir (8/5): ארוחת בוקר מעולה - זול, נחמד וארוחת בוקר מעולה

- vinceny (7/5): Fine if you overlook some details - Friendly staff and clean room. Clock was set several hours ahead (wouldn't housekeeping have this on a checklist?); hotel was far from full but request for top floor room wasn't accomodated and my room was directly across from elevator. Hotel did not have electronic converter ports for sale or loan (although a staff member said it used to).
- Christopher (9/5): - Very friendly staff and helpful. Clean place, mildly quiet for the city area. Maybe it was the time of year, but not to much to do that interested us.
- Susan (10/5): Convenient, modern, clean, safe. - Modern setting, ample safe parking Can’t think of anything I didn’t like
- Oswald (10/5): -
- miller (2/5): Very disappointing for a Marriott property and very expensive for the lack of services. - Conveniently located to downtown Holyoke The room was not clean, No hot water in the shower on Sunday morning, The maids did not come in to clean the room on the second day, The sheets smelled and we had to get a new set of sheets, the water didn't drain in the tub while showering
- NewEnglandLady55 (2/5): Beware: Marriot overbooks - Hotel did not honor our paid Trip Advisor reservation. Yes I had confirmation emails and reservation code. Called trip advisor (we were at hotel desk) who after repeated attempt to get Marriott to fix this, told me “hotel over booked.” The Fairmount Marriott hotel left me and my daughter stranded late at night. They did not offer to help get us a hotel room nearby. We had no choice but to drive 2 hours home. Beware.
- Mihalik (9/5): - Breakfast was great!
- Nir (8/5): -

- Maureen (10/5): - Staff was efficient and kind.
- Vincent (8/5): - Area didn’t have good restaurant selection
- Vilma (10/5): Location just right for our needs, enjoyable & very comfortable stay. Breakfast was also good. - The front desk guy made arrangements with housekeeping so we can check in early as previously requested to be prompt attending a wedding of our friend. None
- Andrew (10/5): - Convenient for visiting my student at Mt. Holyoke and for flying in/out via Hartford Airport.
- Debra (4/5): - Itried to contact the property about a,refund due to leaving a couple days early and the contact form doesn't recognize the hotel name.
- Sally (7/5): -
- Paula (10/5): Great location. Peaceful hotel. - Great location. Room was well appointed and very clean. Wonderful breakfast choices. Nothing we didn't like.
- Ceallaigh (1/5): Disappointed - Very little We were promised a refund of a discount for a. Issue we had during our stay, and which never arrived.
- Jan (8/5): Good but could use some attention details - The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the 4th floor ice machine was not working, the hair conditioner in the shower was empty, and the little bar of soap for hand washing crumbled upon opening, making it useless.
Breakfast had plenty of options and was available early and was quite tasty.
- Derek (8/5): - Room was decently clean. Had a really bad smell when I entered - kind of a B.O smell. Was only there one night so I just health with it
- Maureen (7/5): - The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. The bathroom had mold and the room smelled musty but was otherwise clean.
- Mary Alice (10/5): - A/C efficient, large, clean bathroom, COMFORTABLE bed and great breakfast options for free.
Did a day of shopping at local mall and stores and restaurant options…plenty
- Sherri (8/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - It was very convenient, clean, solid fresh breakfast with protein, and great staff. It was what we were looking for.
- Penny (9/5): - Clean, location Just a hiccup with housekeeping but overall good
- KATHLEEN (10/5): - Love when breakfast is included.
- Wendy (10/5): Clean, Comfortable with friendly staff. - Excellent accommodations. The hotel was new, spacious and well maintained. Front desk staff was professional and frindly.
- Linda (8/5): - It was okay but not outstanding.
- Maiya (10/5): - Nice hotel
- Kent (10/5): - Clean, appealing room. Desk service above and beyond. Will go back there.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Melinda (8/5): - Room was nice clean pool was small though
- Deborah (10/5): - The room was fantastic. Slept great in a strange bed for the first night I was away from home. And the staff were all so pleasant - always saying hello or checking that all was good for me. Would totally recommend this place to my friends.
- Maria (8/5): Comfortable Stay at Great Location - Check in was very easy, and front desk clerk was very helpful about where I should unload, how to move the bags to the back entrance, and dinner recommendations As others have noted, breakfast options were very good, and I appreciated good decaf coffee in the room. All the staff seemed friendly and helpful. And my partner enjoyed the pool. Just wished there was a shower or even a changing room. Mattress was a little soft, but that's always a matter of personal taste. And it would be helpful to have a stronger fan in the bathroom to de-steam it. I noticed that some of the wallpaper/plasterboard is starting to give way so it would help with that too. But lighting, towel bars, etc. very good. And the location is great. I really didn't want to have to drive far for dinner, and the longest drive was maybe 4 minutes? I could have walked it except my partner has mobility issues. Just wish it was easier to exit off of I-91 heading north and then get over to the right lane! But my trusty GPS rerouted me! Just be prepared to have to "go around the block" so to speak.
- Kristen (10/5): - Quiet, comfortable, clean, decent breakfast, close to other amenities
- Dan (10/5): - Great breakfast
- Jessica (10/5): - Comfy bed. Clean bathroom.
- Anne (10/5): - Great place in a great location.
- kathleen (1/5): Awful - N/a N/a
- Thomas (10/5): - It was convenient for the one night we were there.
- Leslie (6/5): - I feel like we got the room that they usually don’t rent. As soon as I walked in you could smell it. Damp rug, damp bed. And big gap in the door, I put the ironing board over it.
- Marcin (10/5): - Great breakfast
- andrea (8/5): - Facilities were great. Location was very convenient.
- Johanna (10/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Mediocre - The location was nice. We visited the Basketball hall of fame. It was close, but not in the busy city. There was a mall nearby & a cracker bart. The room needed a deep clean. The moldings were dirty, walls had handprints, touch up paint was needed but it was not in disrepair. The beds were clean.
- Ceallaigh (7/5): - The staff were very helpful at checking in and in dealing with a room change post check-in A shooting happened right beside the hotel, not a great area. Tragic outcome. Really wondered should we have moved elsewhere once we realised why so many police in the vicinity
- Christina (10/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lind (10/5): staff is excellent! - Everything Nothing
- Tim (10/5): Great Hotel - Great hotel right off the toll road. Ashley was the front desk attendant when we checked in. We went to the room and realized we had booked a smaller room than we thought. We thought we had booked a suite with a separate bedroom. I went down to speak with Ashley about my mistake, and she politely upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge. Incredibly nice hotel. The lobby, rooms, and exterior were well maintained and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Springfield area.
- Andrew (10/5): - Easy to find, spacious and comfortable.
- lizj871 (4/5): Wouldn’t return. - On and off air conditioning kept us up thru the night. Terrible mold smell in room and bathroom. Bed was soft.
Reported mold smell to desk person who seemed not at all interested.
- Liliana (10/5): - Nice check in staff
- Elke (10/5): - Comfortable bed. Pool too
- Jean (9/5): Great location. Restaurants and mall within walking distance. - Early check in request was accommodated,
- Douglas (8/5): Quick overnight stay - Just a quick overnight stay, but it was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that the a/c was a bit loud.
- Margaret (10/5): - The front staff was very helpful to our group check in. The location was very convenient. Positive experience. Quiet, and therefore got a good night sleep!
- Karen (10/5): - Clean, modern, friendly staff
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steph (1/5): Terrible. Absolute waste of money - Lobby Smell. Way too pricey. Food was disgusting, coffee was never done
- Dayo (4/5): - Room had a terrible smell mix of mildew and locker room, ugh. carpet and maybe water damage made for a terrible combination
- Ryszard (10/5): - Convenient. Great Staff.
- jared (10/5): - The front desk staff didn’t blink an eye when I requested two large duffel bags and two large shopping bags be stored in their office. I was even more surprised they agreed to my request when I witnessed how small of an office space they worked from.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was good. They even helped me when i could not connect to wifi
- Annette (10/5): - Staff was amazing and super accommodating to all the runners staying for a race. Made sure we had early morning fuel and showers after. Excellent beds too!
- Mario (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was clean and had great selection.
- michael (10/5): - Perfect
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- rovingambler (4/5): Hello, hello, hello - Is there anybody in there….average hotel with no staff. Waited 10 minutes at front desk for assistance. When she finally arrived, she offered the same answer to all of us waiting, “I’ll get someone to help.” My issue was a tv that didn’t work, thankfully it wasn’t “our shower doesn’t drain” (the group in front of me.) When a housekeeper did stop by to help me, she said “sorry, no internet.”
Otherwise, no soap in the dispensers, ripped covers on the sofa, and housekeeper knocking at 8am to see if she could prepare the room. Breakfast was better than expected. Definitely not worth staying.
- Guillermo Jose (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean facility. Their continental breakfast is beyond continental. It has a very good variety for food.
- CATHERINE (10/5): - Excellent accommodations and friendly staff
- Thomas (4/5): - Getting on wi-fi was very difficult even with staff help. Bathroom sink stopper broken.Hard to maintain a consistent room temperature
- Asada (9/5): Nice and cozy hotel near Target and more. - Nice and clean hotel. Comfortable bed and friendly staffs. None.
- Lindsay (10/5): - Clean property
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Lisanne (10/5): Exceptional -
