- George C (10/5): - How nice and pleasant the person was who checked us in sorry i forgot the name
- Stacie (9/5): -
- Rachel (7/5): Great value for a place just needing to stay - The room was spacious and hit all of the needs. I did not need to use the kitchenette, but it was stocked well for anyone who would need to cook. There were only 2 pillows on the bed, so more would have been nice when having 2 people in the room. Also, the blanket was very thin and the bedroom was cold.
- Angela (9/5): -
- Olivia (1/5): - Absolutely nothing. Disgusting and outdated. We left within 15 minutes and they wouldn’t give us a refund.
- Richard (8/5): Enjoy the Poconos at Carriage House - Nice , quiet , relaxing atmosphere , rooms are always clean.
Can't wait to go back and get in the jacuzzies and pool again.
We always enjoy our stay here , no matter what time of year it is. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Abraham (7/5): No me pude relajar al 100 % - Todo muy bien tranquilo, personal muy atento Por qué no me gustó, es que cuando llegué yo tenía pensado estar en el jacuzzi, pero parece que no servía en la suite
- Maksym (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Winter get away. - Beautiful place. Advise to check the weather forecast before hand.-4 with wind chill of -30 is rough. 🤪🤪 Pool, hot tub and the suite.
- Svetlana (10/5): - Super
- Paige (1/5): Hated it. Wanted to go home the whole time. Beware! - This is not a hotel it's an affordable housing option in the middle of nowhere. Skip it! I felt very uncomfortable and the locals stare you down when you come near the pool, where the residents of this place (which is not a hotel or a country club in any way shape or form) blare county music and drink til 2am. Bizarre!!!
- Novillo (4/5): - Me gustó la ubicación La calefacción no funcionaba y las máquinas dispensadoras de bebidas tampoco funcionan
- Angela (5/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly - Location and friendly staff Musty

- ServetaLu (10/5): Definitely give this place a shot - This is a fantastic hotel with very unique amenities. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, and understanding. I host a weekend long event here for the past several years. We book the entire hotel, 150 people attend. The staff goes out of their way to cater to us. Sometimes our guests can misbehave and they have always been understanding. I highly recommend the Carriage House for family getaways, parties, weddings, car shows, really any event. It's affordable, clean, fun, relaxing, and in a beautiful area.
- Vanessa (7/5): I love the amenities. I love the location and I will definitely stay there again. - I like location there’s a sign that says it’s under construction. I wish that were true. There was no construction going on and it definitely needs some major updates. Covid is over the sign 6 feet away, talking behind the counter. The lack of human contact and again updates are needed to bring it into the 21st-century.
- Shane (8/5): Overall our stay was amazing, the kids had a blast and we abs loved the pool area. - pool/hot tub/bingo room smelled a little musty but as soon as you were in there for a few minutes you didnt even notice anymore.
- Jorge (10/5): Great!!!!!!! - I like a lot .very nice everything . The dj is great . The people very friendly . Thank so much we enjoyed a lot . Want to come back next year .

- Patterson (10/5): -
- Lopez (10/5): -
- Damon (9/5): Location was the best part as we couldn't stay at the Kalahari and its next door. -
- Pin-Hsiu (8/5): Overall, it’s a great deal. - The kitchenette is nice and thoughtfully set up. The room doesn’t get any WiFi signal because it’s at the corner.
- Moenique (10/5): Peaceful - Quiet & Clean.. Very Peaceful
- Irene (6/5): It was a reasonable price to stay, but it definitely needs some TLC. - Loved that they had an indoor pool since we went in October. I didn’t expect to have a kitchenette, with a living room. That was a nice surprise. There was a jacuzzi tub but it was so big it took forever to fill just to get past the intake hole. Trying to fill it more and ran out of hot water. There were two saunas in the pool area but kids under 16 can’t go in them. The full beds weren’t comfortable and every-time you move they made a lot of noise. There was a pool party at the pool on Saturday. Took my Grandson to the pool on Sunday morning and there were half inflated pool toys, broken pool noodles, a can in the pool, a red solo cup on the walkway around the pool. Evidently some things were not cleaned up. There were supposed to be pool towels available in the pool area, but there weren’t any.
- DougFischer (2/5): Carriage House dissapointment - Avoid this resort, it’s nothing like all the other AFVC resorts you’ve ever stayed at. Though the staff manager did her best to accommodate our needs, this place is dying a slow death from previous poor management and neglect.
- P4387GZlorrainep (8/5): My next chapter - I felt like I was at my own private resort. We chose a good weekend to go and a great place to stay. It was nice and quiet and the decor was nice for this time of year. I was surrounded by my favorite color. (orange)
The pool temp was just right for me especially knowing I can go in the pool till 2am. I jump in at 12am to start the celebration of my birthday.
Our suite was nice, with a few exceptions.
1. The bed could use a new firm mattress's
2. One of our windows would not lock (safety issue)
3. Screws in the wall that held the iron and ironing board came out wall when used.
I. Ms Carol and the staff were very helpful and kind.
2. Towels and washcloths were soft and fluffy.
3. When we requested another pillow we had no long wait no problems when asking.
4. As I stated the pool was just right and also the Jacuzzi.
5. Kalahari water park just up the road
6. Deers like to come out
- Lorraine (8/5): It was fun and relaxing. I felt like I had my own private resort due to the quietness. - The decor
The pool
The jacuzzi
The staff
The quietness
The location
The scenery
The deers
Near Kalahari
The soft fluffy bath towels and washcloths The bed, mattress was very limpy
Having only one small elevator
Window in room would not lock (safety issue)
- Robin (7/5): - The check in staff was amazing helpful friendly Could of been cleaner floor was dirty soap streaks on wall if tub with hair stove was peeling but trip to the dollar store for disinfection wipes helped clean table kitchen bathroom very close to Kalahari which was amazing if you dont mind cleaning things worth it
- Alexis (10/5): -
- Stephanie (7/5): Quiet, clean but a little dated. - Close to convention center, friendly-ish staff, hot tubs, pool, quiet. Water tasted awful, hallway smelled so strong of chlorine it burnt my eyes, staff returned one of our boxes that we shipped to the hotel that we needed for our event. I'm not sure why they would do that.
- gillian (8/5): - Everything was good. Property is a bit dated, but no issues.
- Apollo (8/5): - Lovely staff, huge pool with hot tubs, free to use grills outside! The room was very nice and spacious, perfect for a convention goer/cosplayer. I enjoyed all the utensils and dishes they provided in the kitchen as well. The shower and bathtub were perfect, pretty spacious and warm. And another thing as a con-goer, the bathroom had many drawers to use for makeup storage, as well as a variety of mirrors all over the rooms. I will complain of a few things, specifically around the room, were difficult to function or didn’t function. One of the overhead lights was out, the bathtub drain plug didn’t work, and the ac buttons were a little broken so we couldn’t control it easily. The accessibility also isn’t fantastic, I would recommend calling and making sure you get a room on a floor that’s accessible by ground or by elevator, because the room I was in required at least one flight of stairs no matter what. (3rd floor royal). I’m an as-needed walker and forearm crutch user, I was unable to use either here and just kept them in my car for the convention time.
Would stay here again, with a bit more accessibility prep.
- Elise (10/5): - The employees were very kind, the room was comfortable, and the pool is very cool. I wish they provided bottle water.
- caroltV4409PC (10/5): Great place to stay! - This is a great place to get away with a group of friends and family!! We have been coming here for the past 20 years with our military group of retirees. The Carriage House has always been very accommodating allowing us to enjoy each other’s company while having a great time in the pool area.
Over the years, the Carriage House has made improvements to the hotel on the inside and outside and have updated the rooms. This is a great place for a weekend at the Poconos close to many different places to visit! The staff is always warm, friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home! Look forward to many more years of spending time with friends and family!
- Wanda (8/5): Will come back again. - Great location and spacious. Everything was good.
- Claudia (10/5): -
- Lydia (9/5): -
- Keely (10/5): -
- Timothy (3/5): Yucky hot tub - Not a lot to say The hot tub was dirty and green gunk came out of the jets. The room felt dirty. Bedspread didn't match bed. TV remote wasn't paired to the tv. House cleaning supposedly cleaned the hot tub and left our door open. Hot tub then had orange gunk coming out of it. Was ensured a refund through Booking.com and the Carriage House and they are dragging their feet.
- Norma (10/5): Nice - Nice and comfortable place and good price
- Renee (8/5): - The first room they put us in was something out of a horror movie, the room was disgusting, the smell, stains on the carpet, the sofa was old and the balcony door was broken, immediately we complained and was put into a much better room
- Rod (5/5): Passable -
- Nassaer (2/5): - The bed was bad I didn’t like it…
- Lydia (10/5): Exceptional -

- Verified traveler (2/5): - This place is creepy and old. A man hit on my child and her friend at there indoor pool! He ended up touching them and made rhem feel uncomfortable... the police were involved!
- Rafael (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ravens&roses (10/5): Exceptional - Pool is huge and warm 2 seperate hot tubs inside. Outside pool and grill fire pit area and a play ground for kids. Pool is open until 2am!!! Neighbors can be heard running up and down halls
- Pechka (10/5): Enjoyed our stay.Look forward to returning in the future - Quiet. Towel service, hot water, sparkling clean pool and nice staff. Elevator is older and smaller than we are accustomed to using.
- Sheri (9/5): Was wonderful and will probably return next year😊 - Everything!! Facilities and rooms were very clean and well maintained Didn’t like that after i unloaded my stuff, i had to wheel it over to the stairs and then carry everything down to another luggage cart
- James (1/5): Bad -
- Audra (5/5): Passable -
- Mcalpine (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very comfortable plenty of room for all guests There was no contanneal breakfast that would have been good

- Cherie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Silver (8/5): Staff was friendly and it was convenient for me - It definitely needs some updates
- Adelyn (8/5): Very good -
- Miguel (10/5): - Great room and service
- Woodberry (9/5): Superb -
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was was very kind, helpful and very personable. We stayed in a mini suite so we could make our own meals. It had everything you needed to cook with along with a dishwasher. The room was huge. There were only three of us but there would have been enough to sleep 5. We will stay there again Nothing
- William (3/5): Pocono Manor used to be choice for vacation! This place is a stain on the concept of vacation - The jacuzzi was pleasant. Indoor pool was not bad. Water was not too cold, so guests could enjoy a good swim. Seems like my stay was off season. So, there were very few staff present. Because my stay seemed off season, I will grant a measure of grace. This place seems to be in serious need of improvement or transition to long term rental/lease. I say that because this place is well below standard for anything resembling a modern hotel. Minimal staff, poor maintenance and cleaning! Were the decision mine… I would transition to apartment rentals to offer living space for staffers who work for other clubs, hotels and other businesses! This would keep this place profitable long term.
The staff are NOT hospitable! Have no knowledge about local restaurants, entertainment or retailers. The fact that they don’t have food service is disappointing. Not even continental breakfast? Why call it a club/resort? For the record: Hotel guests don’t want to be greeted by tattoos and sloppy uniforms, Narrow elevators and dirty carpets, ugly furniture and broken kitchen appliances! This place is a disgrace to the hospitality industry! It’s time for new management!
- Melinda (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (10/5): Perfect stay - Very nice property, staff was friendly and we all loved the pool Nothing
- Enmanuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yolima (8/5): Very good -
- Myla (10/5): Everything and Everyone Was GREAT as ALWAYS!!!!!!! - I have been coming here with my Family for 10 years... And we always have a Wonderful Time. Anytime we come to the Poconos, We ONLY stay At The CARRIAGE HOUSE!!!
- Jeana (10/5): Awesome - Suite, pool, hot tub, kitchenette
- Ileis (10/5): Exceptional - I enjoyed all the activities within the hotel. The location was off road which made it a quiet setting, which was a plus. The pricing was decent. We would definitely recommend. We didn't like that there was only 1 ice machine, that anyone can stick their hands in. Also Ice machine wasn't the cleanest. Bed was ok but having 2 semi small pillows made sleeping uncomfortable.
- Moran (9/5): We felt at home! - I loved the quietness of the place, It may be a bit hard for some to find. My favorite parts of the room were the balcony and the bathroom, it almost gave you the feeling of being in a cabin with amenities of a luxury hotel room. We had a room with a view, and loved having breakfast on the terrace. We enjoyed cooking a couple of meals on the stove. I loved our checking woman, she was so pleasant and funny, she made our stay much more pleasant and welcoming. The thing that may bother me was that the heat/air condition is very close to the bed, leaving very little room to get out of bed. I also did not like the fact that the sofa bed's mattress was so thin that it would have been impossible for a guest to sleep on it and that would be horrible if your party is more than 3.
- jayceesdj (2/5): Stay Away should not be included in RCI - I can say the staff was nice but outside of that I would not recommend this to my enemies! First room was so dirty and bed so small we requested they move us to a different room. Second room had no hot water! They ended up giving us our choice or rooms after that and that room had bed bugs! We ended up leaving early to say the least!
- Ron (10/5): Exceptional -
