Would highly recommend and return on next visit around.

• Rosemary (10/5): Wonderful accommodation, highly recommended. - Everything about my stay was first class. I was warmly welcomed, helped with my bags, given a superior room. All the keys/gate fob worked easily, the lighting was good, the beds were super comfy and I slept like a log! Breakfast was lovely with good hot coffee...what else? Easy short walk to the bus stop which took me to the NEC easily. There was absolutely nothing not to like! And it was immaculately clean and tidy, just perfect! N/A

Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was well-made and tasty. The TV was on during breakfast and I would have preferred that it was tuned to something more innocuous.

They have made a very accommodating guest house in a beautiful setting. The location was quiet and I slept very well, yet it was a mere 10 mins from the NEC. The rooms and property are very modern, clean and have all the facilities needed, including a hairdryer. A very good breakfast was provided by friendly, attentive hosts and the parking was secure behind electric gates. I will book again and thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wishing an excellent stay close to Birmingham Nothing could have been better for me

• Jane (9/5): Excellent, would definitely stay again. - Just a lovely friendly, clean, comfortable place to stay. The room was spacious and light with views over the field and fully equipped with a range of lighting, power points, mirrors, cupboards etc. These sound like basic things but so often places are not so well arranged. The room was well sound proofed as well, which is always a bonus for a lovely peaceful night's sleep, unlike some places where you can hear the television or telephone conversations through the walls! It is within easy walking distance of good places to eat. Nothing to dislike. If I could pick something I personally would have appreciated, it would have been a choice of real coffee bags and other types of tea, but since I always carry my own anyway it wasn't a problem.
• Towner (10/5): Refreshing and peaceful - Lovely location in countryside between 2 major cities--Frequent X1 bus service from bottom of the road to B'ham International, which meant we could avoid driving up in the car--clean fresh rooms with ensuite and views across garden and fields; substantial enjoyable breakfast with friendly chat between fellow occupants and I saw Venus and Mercury in the night sky as we arrived! a bonus!! no complaints

• David (10/5): One Night Stay at Broadwell before NEC Visit - Lovely room, clean & beautifully furnished. The en-suite was also beautifully clean with a shower and plenty of space. The hosts were very welcoming and showed us to our room. Facilities in the room were excellent. Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. There was plenty of choice and the service was really good.
• Richard (10/5): Fantastic! - Excellent modern accommodation and great value for money. Spotlessly clean. Tasty breakfast - full English was fabulous. Fantastic location if you're visiting the NEC. It's unfair to say anything negative as the accommodation is well worthy of it's 9+ rating. However, that being, the single bed in room 4 was a bit short in length for me as I'm 6'3".

Excellent location for attending the NEC at Birmingham. Mostly quiet location, although at times traffic could be heard when the windows were open. Not conscious of traffic at night (with windows closed - had cool weather during stay). Would definitely stay at Broadwell Guest House again ! Could at times hear others moving about within the house ... however, the Guest House wasn't full and the movement heard occurred within waking hours - so these sounds weren't a problem. No porridge offered at breakfast.

Leaving windows open as per the host idea was not the best due to influx of flies into the room . We had to go out and purchase our own fan to enable us have a bit of peaceful sleep.. • Mike (10/5): Fantastic place to stay for visiting anything in the area or the NEC - Excellent location for my purposes (a show at the NEC) which was within easy reach. Free on site parking is very welcome, as is ease of access. The rooms are excellent & the staff will pretty much get you anything (within reason) for breakfast. I have to mention the 'cooked exactly how you want it' bacon sandwich. Just a great start to the day! I've been here before & I'll certainly come here again. Nothing. There's simply nothing wrong that I can think of, nor anything that could be improved.

• Linda (10/5): Definitely be back when we return to the area. It's lovely. - The location was ideal for a weekend at the NEC. The premises are lovely and impeccably clean, we didn't have time to relax in the grounds which are great, enough space for children to runabout and explore too. We gave our breakfast orders and specified time before bed and the excellent breakfasts are cooked to order, generous and delicious. The village is within walking distance with two great pubs, a village pond, green two grocery stores and a chemist. The guest house has secure parking with electric gates which work on a key fob.

• Penny (10/5): Perfect for our needs - Very nice breakfast. Nice clean homely house. We were able to leave the car and take the bus ( every 30 mins) to NEC. Unfortunately although close to bus stop we chose to get a taxi back from NEC as no footpath on the road leading to the property.

It's not your usual hotel it's got more of a homely feel to it and the staff go beyond to meet expectations. Lovely and clean room no complaints there and a comfy bed! Freshly cooked breakfast every morning, Plenty of options on breakfast and drink. Will be back!
