Guest Reviews
- Guadalupe (10/5): - It was great! All of the staff are friendly. Its highly recommended.Definitely I will stay this place again.
- Michael (4/5): - Dated and broken items
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location was good, just along the highway with an elevated view of the sea. Nice pol with the view of the sea.
Take note though that if you are at the lower level rooms, it's a walk up to the beautiful view of the sea, pool area, restaurant, and bar.
- Brian (4/5): - Pictures look way better than property. Private beach is just a beach across the street that's not much of a beach. Front desk guy would only give one key card so when you're not interview nothing charges and the AC was not going when we got there. I get trying to conserve power but we walked into the room and we had to fool the room down before it was even convenient to stay in there. The power for the room needed a key card so if we left our key card that means we couldn't get in the room except with the help of front desk using MasterCard. The front desk guy did not want to accommodate an extra card to keep the power on so our devices can charge after our 3-hour trip down there from Cebu City. We went to go eat at the property and ordered lumpia which was great but my fiance ordered the curry chicken and it was not cooked all the way through. We asked the lady to cook it longer and it was still served back to us raw in some places. The sleep was not that great because it was right next to the main road and you can hear everything. Was contemplating staying there an additional night before running into this issue. So we just continued on our trip and booked somewhere else. It served its purpose I guess but definitely would not recommend or stay there again. Aside from the front desk guy the rest of the staff was very nice and polite not to take away anything good about them. Would definitely reconsider having that guy at the front desk as for customer service purposes
- Ross (10/5): - Great place to stay after swimming with the Whale Sharks. Great pool and cafe.
- Bella (8/5): - We enjoyed during our stay. I like the rooms situated next to the pool and the ocean view but the powerlines affects the view.
- Reynold S. (10/5): - Jun, the manager was great. Staff was awesome
- Hans (8/5): - Very happy with the service and excursions they arrangede for us.
If something could be improve it would be the breakfast.
- Enere (8/5): - Wonderful property staff was excellent. The only thing was the menu for the food. A lot of it was pork which is very hard if you don’t eat pork.
- Marius (8/5): I recommend this location - I recomande this place , a beautiful location with a restaurant and swimming pool. very kind staff
- Mary joy (10/5): - Very peaceful ambiance. Staff are all friendly and attentive to your requests. I will surely go back next time I go to Oslob.
- STEVE (8/5): - Nice property with a lovely pool and comfortable rooms. Just a bit out of the way so the hotel charged a lot for transport to and from the hotel compared to other places we have stayed
- Aress (8/5): Will stay here again, but bring my own covers - Clean towels , comfort bed , big working bathroom , good ICE cold AC. Also pool is decently deep to swim about 5 feet. Good food at the restaurant. Recommend asking for a room at the top next to the restaurant and pool . The rooms on the bottom levels have very steep steps to have to climb often.
Super close to the ports and waterfalls of oslob.
- Edrian (10/5): - Judging from the photos of Lantawan Hotel posted on expedia, I was quite surprised to see how beautiful the location was and how the place was built.
Though the service crew needs a bit of work. However, their warmth and welcoming vibe make up for it.
If you want privacy, peace, and quiet place to stay in Oslob Cebu, this is it!
- Daniel (10/5): - Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location was quiet. It is advisable that guests have some form of readily available transportation as the resort is close to neither restaurants nor the local attractions. Also, if you have laptops or other grounded devices, bring a three-prong adapter as the rooms are equipped with the old two-prong outlets. Overall quite a good value.
- Kevin (10/5): Great place to stay - Staff were very friendly and accommodating- food was great and affordable- swimming pool was large and particularly spectacular at night with colourful lights- Resort located just 10 minute tricycle ride to whale watching , 10 minutes to waterfalls as well
- Sytske (6/5): - Room was great. Pool is ok, but the water gets very warm during the day, so not very helpful to cool off. Staff is often nowhere to be found, just the lady from the restaurant, and don’t speak much English. I tried to book a tour, but they didn’t understand (thought I wanted just a driver), so I ended up booking online. The food at the restaurant was nice
- Ingolf (4/5): - Wasserhahn defekt. Beim ersten öffnen explodiert das Wasser heraus. Kein warmes Wasser. Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße. Dadurch extremer Verkehrslärm. Küche war während des gesamten Aufenthalts geschlossen. Pool war trüb. Zimmer sehr hellhörig.
- Toni (8/5): Home cooked meals, hot showers, and clean! - The best part about Lantawan Resort is the woman who makes all your meals to order. Delicious and timely. The room was clean but the hot water pipe leaked in my particular room so I hope this will be fixed soon. Must take a motorcycle to the closest dive spot/whale shark spot but they can easily arrange this for you. Staff were friendly. Pool is clean and nice and private as it is elevated from the road.
- Donald (10/5): - Beautiful pool, large and clean althoigh lots of stairs to access it.
Nice veranda to sip drinks while looking out over the ocean.
Very nice value place to enjoy the area for a couple days.
- Reg (8/5): - Nice place that overlooks the water, and it’s away from the ultra touristy neighborhood.
- LOOI (10/5): - Good location, convenient
- salupm1 (4/5): The Good and The Bad - First, let me say that the resort is very clean, and the management was nice to work with. The food was okay at their little restaurant, however, they were out of two items on the menu when we ordered. Now for the bad, and sadly they have no control over it. The road noise is very loud and goes all through the night. We were in room #2 (second closest to the road) and the noise kept us awake most of the night. If you stay there-be sure and book a room as far away from the highway as possible. If not, take earplugs.
- François (2/5): - Un gros détail quand même... l’hotel est situé juste de l’autre côté de la route donc énormément de circulation et parallèle à la mer, cela n’est pas dit dans la description... passez votre chemin
- dimitrio720 (10/5): Stayed for 3 nights - Very nice hotel and very nice staff. The view from my room looks beautiful at anytime of the day. The front office lady is very nice, she arranged our tour to sumilon island and helped us wait for the bus to cebu city. Clean room, clean bathroom and the ac working well. I love the food in their restaurant, my favourite are shrimp sinigang and sweet and sour fish. Overall I had a pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean room.
Size of bathroom is large!
Lack of toiletries.
Property is loud due to being close to the road.
WiFi access is slow.
- Brian (10/5): Thanks - Great cook, like home at grandma's. Great shower (big shower head, lots of water), Internet was good to stream Netflix. Great sea view
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel itself is very basic but what makes it standout is the service. Janet, at the front office was very helpful. She helped arrange our tours and van rental. Noli, the night watchman was also very helpful. They both went above and beyond their call of duty. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property surroundings we’re well kept and maintained, which quite often reflects management/owners standards. The restaurant meals were always delicious, thank you Julie!! We organized all out yours through them, which were all excellent, I highly recommend canyoneering & Kawasen Falls. This hotel was a great find!!
- Francis (8/5): - Good clean rooms and very helpful staff!
Only issue was the close proximity to the main road.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for overnight stay - Pros: Room was great! Huge bathroom with hot water, nearby restaurant with fair price
Cons: poor internet connection, limited parking spot, no amenities, can be noisy since it's location is next to a highway
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and location is very near to Oslob whale watching place
- Verified traveler (4/5): - All the amenities and pictures said in expedia are not true no swimming pool and you have to cross the national road before you get to the sea. This is not a resort!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place and accommodation Is pleasing
- Gary (8/5): Very helpful - Nice place for price presentation was great service great close to whale sharks
- Cheryl (8/5): - The place is clean; not crowded;Close to the beach just cross the small highway and the beach is right there. The bathroom towel rack coming off the wall.Just need to keep up the maintenance of the place. WIFI has good signal;Staff is very nice. The place is outside the town center you need to wait for a public transportation like a tricycle to pass by to bring you to places like restaurant or to whale shark place if you don't have your own transportation. They have a restaurant next door food is good a bit expensive.
- JOSHUA (10/5): Perfect place with great view - The staff at lantawan are so friendly and helpful. The room was just as pictured and very very clean. The restaurant at lantawan was delicious and so convenient to have so close by. Right on the water go great view!! Would definitely stay again next time we are in oslob!
- Adi (10/5): - Great place to stay in Oslob for such a great price! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food at the restaurant was great. Lantawan is slightly isolated from the Whale Shark sanctuary and the main part of town in Oslob so its nice and quiet, but close enough to where you can easily access both areas. Highly recommend Lantawan Resort - will definitely stay there the next time we come back!
- kylamariem2014 (10/5): Awesome stay! - We were looking for a last minute accommodation in oslob and all the hotels we went too was below average but we drove past this one and luckily we stopped! This is a rare gem and can not complain! Everything is so clean and perfect ! We had to wake up early because of the whale shark swimming and requested to order breakfast to be dropped off in the morning before we went and the staff had no problem with it, so accommodating ! So peaceful. I would love to stay again ❤️🥰
- Wei Jen (10/5): Excellent - The room we got was in the Road side and the sound track that passed by makes us unconfortable
- stephen (8/5): Ok. Few nights. - Good for a couple of nights stay. Avoid room 37 as directly next to the highway. Noisy from traffic.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good! - The room is spacious and clean.
There is a restaurant and price is reasonable.
It is located in between Oslob whale shark watching and the Oslob town.
- Greg (10/5): - The staff were very friendly and very helpful, best location for the whale sharks
- Sweekiat (8/5): Stay - Resort was in the middle of nowhere. Nothing nearby of walking distance.
- Katrina (10/5): Great place to stay - Nice clean rooms, modern, ac is working well, restaurant serves great food at reasonable rates than other places. Good signage along the highway. Will stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The resort was amazing and beautiful. The staff always webt the extra mile to accomodate our request and made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay
- saugab (10/5): 3 night stay - We have stayed in the middle of November and it was an awesome stay!! I read that someone said the room and bathroom is small so let me get this right - I work in a hotel industry and the room is big and spacious same as the bathroom is. The resort is new so they are still in the process, but everything is fresh and modern, clean and nice. We loved the comfortable bed and modern shower and we loved the food! Shout out to the cooks ladies - their burgers and spanish ommelets were the best!! Also the milkshakes are the best in Philippines!
We would definitely stay here again and hopefully in future they will have a swimming pool.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay!
- Aileen (10/5): Clean room and nice view for sunrise - We stayed at Lantawan resort and the place is excellent. We are a family of 3 with a 5yr old Child. The staffs were accommodating since we arrived there with no electricity, atleast they have a generator as back up.they have clean rooms And Nice shower room. It is located between oslob whale watching and oslob town where you Will see the cuartel, Baluarte And the church. It is also close to tumalog falls. They have a restaurant just down the rooms where you can order Food while relaxing In there bench chair outside the room watching sunset. We woke up at 5am the next morning And witnessed the stunning sunrise And take a quick dip on the beach across the Street. Quiet and calm place suitable for relaxation.
- Ace Mark Viron (10/5): Excellent place for a cheap price - The room is excellent. I didn't expect it to be that great given that the price is cheap. The bathroom is so spacious. Great hotel to stay for a night or two.
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice hotel - This place was comfortable for me to stay .
And this was so nice and clean .
- puffpaulopass (8/5): PERFECT ONE NIGHTER - This hotel is very very cheap so I cannot complain with what I got I paid 20$ a night per room and rented 2 rooms
The rooms are small sized and the bathroom is also a little small but the location is so close to Whale Shark watching 5-10mins tricycle ride
The rooms were very clean the beds are small they are single twins I believe...I’m 5’9” and slept in one bed but wished it was bigger the whole time
The air conditioning is nice and ice cold:)
My only complaint at night time since the resort is so close to the road you can hear the Buses and big trucks driving by very fast at night
I still managed to sleep I just remember waking up a few times to loud buses driving by
Bring ear plugs?
But for 20$ I have zero complaints and am fully satisfied
Rooms clean
Bathroom clean
Beds clean comfy but small
Very friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However, the food in the premise is not good. I would recommend going to town or the whale shark area to eat.
- Grace Glory F (8/5): Lantawan February 2018 - The room is pretty nice. It would be great if they can cover the bright blue led from the air conditioner that was blinding me all night though. The air is wonderful kept the room cold just the way I like it. The restaurant next door was very convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom - Close to the beach but not able to swim due to rocks. Only one retaurant in 2km radius
- LPM888 (10/5): Perfect stay! - We stayed overnight so we could see the whale sharks early. It is about a 7 min tric ride to the whale sharks. 5 min tric ride to Tumalog Falls. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean and bright. The staff was very friendly. The food at the restaurant was delicious and authentic. Definitely get the pork sisig if you eat here! We ate there twice during our stay. The meal was probably the best we had during our entire trip! Will be recommending to friends and family!
- noarkc (8/5): Room is the best! - Your money won't be a waste in this hotel. The room is wonderful especially its bathroom because it's very clean, the bathroom is like the main in the room so if a bathroom is clean likewise the whole room itself. I warn you if you eat in their restaurant, you need to wait for a long time. Me and my relatives waited for 2 hours approximately for our food but it was worth it because the food there is amazing. The staff are good, you can ask them what are the best tourist spots in Oslob. They have sources and their sources can lead you to the tourist spot where you desire. The location is wonderful for it is in front of a hotel but don't expect it to be quiet because in front of it, before the sea is the national road. So expect it to be quite noisy.
- annie (8/5): Nice place close ro the beach - The staff of the hotel was good. The beach is very close to the sea. But you cant swim better because of the rocks. The whaleshark watching was a nice experience. The kawasan falls is also a nice place to visit. If you get a private car, it is very expensive. The food is also expensive. Overall, whaleshark watching and falls is only thing i recommend.
- Reza (8/5): - Nice place. Very close to the shark.
- Grace Glory F (8/5): Laciaville part I - The free shuttle service was prompt and great. Hot shower worked and central air for the entire house. The bathroom is a bit tiny by american standards. Soap dish was provided and the washing machine was handy. The staff was more than happy to run an errand to buy us laundry soap. The fridge was fully not I know this because on our 2nd stay there was a ton more of snacks and drinks BUT note that there is an additional charge of P800). The pool is pretty but not heated; was a bit chilly to dip in. The small compound store had very limited snack foods and drinks selection but the staff were helpful in getting it for me outside the compound. No cable TV so very limited entertainment channels. While the bed is only foam it was comfortable. Would’ve been great if they had wider and 2x flat sheet cover; there’s no blankets/comforter.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very good hotel for travellers who come to see whale sharks. 5 minutes from the spot
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Was a very nice place and beautiful beach view from the room shalom!!
- s_bastiene2018 (10/5): Great place ! Very helpful staff !! - Rooms are great ! What you see is what you get ! Staff is very helpful , they will help you with anything you need , whale sharks are 5 minutes away , food is great ! You get to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view :-) .
- Hartmut (8/5): 2 nights at Lantawan - Lantawan resort is a nice place, however, beside the highway so it can be quite noisy. The restaurant claims to have Italian and Philippine food, but there is not much Italian food on the menu. There is internet connection, which is sometimes good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for 2 nights. The place is close to Oslob whale watching site, which was the reason why we came there.
- maxnabau (8/5): Value for money. Recommended - This hotel is a value for money for sure. Mattresses are good. Shower and bathroom was neat and clean. Tv and sky was functional. Location is great not to close not too far from the whale shark centre. Their little resturant is a plus.
Downside was the bed sheet. I didn't like it and the blanket was small and according to filipino standard maybe but not good for foreigners. Then there should be a sheet for that kind of blanket. Wifi didn't work but when I mentioned the staff took care of it. I would go back for sure.
- Paul (8/5): - Very close to whale shsrk visit centre. No other reason to stay
- Irene (10/5): 2018 My First Oslob Trip - Lantawan resort a perfect place to stay when visiting Oslob. Great location, clean facilities, good price and highly commendable staff. So far its one of the best place to stay in that area. It will be my fave place to consider.
- Sebastien (10/5): Nice rooms ! - Great rooms with a small balcony , staff is really helpful and will help you a lot . It also has a restaurant ( food is very good ) . Couldnt ask more for the view . Great place ! Few minutes away from oslob whale sharks !
- Aaron (10/5): You have to stay here if you travel to Oslob! - Absolutely wonderful stay! Don’t let the cheap price fool you, we weren’t expecting much when we turned up but we were so wrong. Immediately welcomed by warm and helpful staff, showed to our room that is clean, comfortable and inviting with a porch area that has an incredible view overlooking the sea, a quaint Italian/Filipino restaurant on site that has some delicious options and for the entire duration of our stay the staff couldn’t do enough for us including laundry, taxiing us around and even motorbike rental to allow us to explore the beautiful coast of Cebu. If I had to give a negative about Lantawan the only thing I could say is it is a bit out the way, roughly 10k from Oslob town and 10k the other way towards whale sharks and waterfall exploration, and because of that transport wasn’t easy to come by if we wanted to travel a bit further. However as afformemtioned the staff were more than willing to help arrange transport and even lent us a moped for a reasonable rate to allow us to see more off the surrounding area. If you plan on seeing an authentically cultured Filipino town such as Oslob and partaking in tourist attractions like swimming with whale sharks and so forth I cannot recommend Lantawan Resort highly enough.
- TimmyTiger80 (4/5): Nice rooms. Very very poor service. - Nice rooms. Good bathrooms. Good location and proximity to whale shark watching.
A bit noisy by the main road but not a big problem.
Staff are unbelievable unhelpful. Trying to arrange transport out of Oslob staff were unhelpful, dishonest and greedy - I assume to try and make money for themselves.
We waited 1.5 hours whilst the staff repeatedly told us transportation was coming and then being told the price had gone up etc. In the end I managed to sort my own transportation for half the price they said they could do it for.
Not impressed!
- Eena (10/5): A very nice and clean hotel! - Restaurant food was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very convenient place for whale shark snorkeling.
- A (6/5): Cozy, but could use some improvements - I stayed here for one night, So I could be close to the whale shark excursion in Oslob.
Just to be quick... The staff is very friendly, the room is simple and cozy, It's about a 5 minute motorbike taxi ride to the whale shark place. The only negatives I can name about the place is that it states they have wifi. But it's basically non existent. The signal is really bad. And the sink in the bathroom wasn't connected to the drain pipe properly, so they had to put a small garbage can underneath to catch the water.
Since I was only there for one night.. This really didn't bother me. If you're there for a long stay, then you should probably look elsewhere.
- Delome (10/5): Great! - Me and my partner stayed here for 3 days. The room were very nice and clean with good aircondition. The food in the restaurant was good as well. And the location of the hotel is nearby the whalewatch. It is easy to take the bus from the hotel or rent a motorbike just like we did.
The staff is very friendly and the owner is so nice and helpful! Me and my partner couldn't find a working atm that took mastercard, we drove about 6 hours with the motorbike, but didn't find any working atm. We came back to the hotel and didn't know what to do and the owner of the hotel offered us her help. She and her daughter took their car and drove to the pier and we took the boat to the island Negros. When we where there they took us to an atm that finally worked. We are so greatful for their help that day. After we went to the shopping mall and did some shopping together.
A humble and nice family, with a really good resort, do recomend this place!
- GemayelSalinas (8/5): 2nd Time Visit - Stayed here again at Lantawan a few weeks ago. And I can say it's still the best place to stay in Oslob!
The resort is along the national road and you can just inform the bus to drop you there.
For a 1500 PHP, you're getting an almost 3-star hotel accommodation just like in the city: modern and clean rooms, comfy beds, nice smelling towels, and toilet with bidet.
Just be wary that there are a lot of make-shift resorts in Oslob and you might end up paying more for what you're getting.
Lantawan is near the whale shark watching, Sumilon, and Tumalog falls which are 5 mins drive.
They provide assistance in all the activities in Oslob.
They also offer scooter rental which is nice to explore area.
And the staff is amazing for putting the extra effort in making sure they meet your needs and requests! For this alone, I highly recommend this place. You're in good hands with them.
And boo on the reviews for criticizing the resort for poor WIFI connection. I was using my own mobile connection and signal is spotty in the area but for text and calls, you should be fine.
For improvement:
1. There's only one pillow per bed; not sure if you can ask for more
2. TV has only ABS but not a big deal as we're out for most of the time
3. They have their own eatery and food is not bad but we find it pricey for the serving size (150-200PHP) after getting used to the affordable and you-get-your-money's-worth food culture in Cebu
4. Booked through Traveloka; did not get a response through text inquiries sent to their 3 different numbers
5. Road noise is there but tolerable
- Verified traveler (8/5): Average hotel, above average view - Overall, Lantawan is a nice place to stay. Room was spacious enough and comfortable. Plenty of privacy. Food was delicious and made fresh to order. Staff was friendly and helped to catch 4 am bus back to Cebu City. Only negative is the road noise, which every hotel has to deal with in this area. Other than that and and a few minor facility upgrades, it was a nice stay.
- Adam (6/5): Nice resort, location is boring. - This is a really nice resort. However oslob is boring once you've already done the whale shark watching, island hopping, and canyoneering.
- Verified traveler (10/5): clean and friendly - the hotel and staff from the moment we got of the coach right outside the front door was amazing the hotel is only a year old and if brilliantly maintained and is an amazing place to stop over for the whale sharks as it is maybe 2km away from there feeding point! only problem was that there was nowhere apart from there restaurant to eat and I wouldn't rate it as its a little overpriced for what it is! but other then you that would definitely recommend!
- Fayelx (6/5): Lantawan - Lantawan is a very nice stay if you want to be out of the town of Oslob and just to relax. You will need to hire a motorbike to get around unless you pay for a trike as this place isn't close to much.
The room was lovely and clean, and the bathroom nice too. Has a small cafe on site and you can hire a bike for 700 pesos (everywhere else we saw was 600 peso). Staff friendly enough.
We were very disappointed with the wifi which didn't work. We raised this with the staff and she told us she had fixed it, but it was no better. This was a portable wifi and it still didn't work. I don't think some hotels realise the importance of wifi for guests who are travelling and need to research and plan their next moves.
Also, it is advertised that you have a TV in your room - which you do, however they don't pay a subscription so it only has 2 channels!
Ok if you don't require wifi.

- Kimberly (10/5): Quiet and Quaint - I only stayed for a night, but it was definitely worth it. The staff makes you feel like you're right there with the locals. It was the perfect distance away from the whale sharks and quiet. The staff even went above and beyond and helped us save time by arranging an alternate route to Bohol from Cebu instead of traveling down south to catch a ferry later that day. I loved everything about it! Even the food was great! Growing up I had a lot of Filipino food and theirs made me feel right at home! Highly recommend!
- ZoeSmith2131 (8/5): Helpful staff, noisy road - We cannot fault the young girl on the front desk here!! When we arrived in Oslob we needed an ATM and didn't have any money! We rented a moped from the hotel and paid on check out! I would recommend this to anyone as this resort is not near much apart from the whale shark resort which is about 10 minute drive! We drove all the way to the next town for an ATM and when we arrived it didn't work! It was a very stressful first day for us and didn't have any money to eat that night, we spoke to reception the following morning and the young girl on the desk literally saved the day by lending us 500pesos to get more petrol for the moped and drive onto the following town where there was another ATM, and we cannot thank her enough for that because without that help we really don't know what we would have done! The rooms are very clean and you have hot water but the shower isn't very powerful. Only downside to this place is it's on the main road so is very noisy at night with large lorries and coaches passing through and beeping their horns! If you need wifi make sure you ask the front desk as they give you personal portable wifis for you to use and the wifi is very good! We came here by public bus which runs right past the hotel so keep your eye out as it's just past Oslob town on the right! Thank you again for a wonderful stay and all the help you gave us!
- GemayelSalinas (10/5): Awesome Staff and Great Location! - Do not trust Waze when locating the resort - just tell the bus driver as it can be easily spotted as the resort is along the road. It has a travel lodge feel as it is just a small scale resort.
The staff is wonderful! The girl at the front desk was very helpful arranging transportation around the town and the activities in Oslob. Even the other staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay as they did errands upon our request.
Resort is fairly new and can easily rival any 3-star hotel. Rooms are very clean with cable, equipped with bidet, and has hot & cold water. Water pressure is understandbly an issue at this remote area but works fine.
They have an in-house eatery good enough for your stay. Prices are very reasonable. 100-250 good for 2 persons.
The resort is perfectly situated between the town proper and the activities in Oslob. It's along the road and can get noisy with the passing vehicles especially if they honk.
They are currently building a pool.
Highly recommended and you're getting more for a 1500/night stay.
- Bryce (6/5): - It's nice and newer. The staff is super nice and helpful. There were a lot of ants everywhere in the room, the wifi does not work, and every time we tried to use the hot water the breaker would flip and shut everything off. It's right on the road so sometimes it's noisy with all the trucks - but good value for the money and only 3km from the whale sharks. Nice restaurant too.
- David (10/5): Wonderful people, wonderful place - It was great, the people were outstanding and friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Loverly friendly hotel - Lovely friendly and VERY helpful staff. Rooms were clean and sufficient. Would recommend ear plugs for sleeping as the road can be a little loud/busy. Otherwise had a great experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Oslob Getaway - Staff are friendly. :)
- Lucy (6/5): Meets all basic requirements - If you like listening to loud traffic, bugs, and slow wifi, this is the place for you. The staff is friendly, though, and the location is near enough for a quick trip on the back of a motorbike to see the whale sharks. Beware of hiring a guide through them, as she didn't really guide so much as act as an awkward companion.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great stay at the Lantawan resort. The rooms were beautiful and lovely views of the beach and peaceful surroundings. The owners of the resort were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, they would always go out of their way to help, including helping getting use to get around as well as on the bus to travel back. The food was also delicious. Also a great location close to the area where you swim with the whale sharks,5 - 10 min drive, which the owners of the resort also organise for you.
- johannes (10/5): Best Room in Cebu - You will not find a better room for this price. Dont waste your money for the other Rooms in the Area. GO THERE
- Owen Williams (10/5): A very nice stay..we even returned two days later. - A very pleasant stay as well the staff clean n New...nice setting by the seaside ..reasturant.We rate this stay highly.
- mellieb27 (8/5): Great service and rooms for the price - I think this resort is new, booked a room for 5 via Traveloka. 1500 per night. And i admit their rooms were clean, CR has heater loved the cable tv. And wifi was great considering the location they just gave me a pocket wifi but it worked well. We arrived late in Oslob since our flight from Iloilo arrived at 1pm and there was heavy traffic in Carcar City. Their boy gladly waited for us and assisted us with our needs. and the owner (ung tinetext ko ata) replied asap when i was asking for directions. only downside was the resort's along the road (and i noticed almost all resorts there were along the road so i guess this applies to others) but we can hear the vehicles passing by, but that's okay maybe soundproof the walls? idk. hehe.
but our stay was great. good for one night. good for it's price and they only made us pay for 1 hour late check out time even though we were 2 1/2 hours late since we came back late from Oslob. I definitely recommend this place for family and barkada visits. :)
