Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): - Loved staying here, great location for where I wanted to be with everything I needed in Manila accessible. Really friendly staff and a great experience. Will definitely stay again
- Mary Jane (10/5): - I am morethan greatful to all the staff of this hotel who been very kind in assisting my parents during their long stay on this property! Definitely will be coming back in a few weeks or so . Everything is very Accessible. I would love to go to Philippines and give them a five star rating !!
- joseph (10/5): - Nice time ----basic room --
- Jennifer (2/5): - The hot water was broken on the first room . Got charged for a second person when the rating for the room is for 2 occupancy on their fee schedule. Roaches in the second room that we were moved to. Overall Very disappointed .wil never go there again .do not recommend
- Jacel (8/5): - Staff
- Aileen (10/5): - Hotel staff are very accommodating. Walkable going to SLEC.
- Jessica (10/5): - If you are in the budget for meals there are lots to choose from the neighboring establishments. The place is just one ride away from Baclaran and Divisoria and walking distance to Luneta Park, National Museums and Intramuros.
- Leny (6/5): - I upgraded to Standard room from Eco room since they advertise that there's microwave in the Standard room. We even called and ask and we were told that we can request it. Upon checkin, they informed us that microwave is not allowed.
- paul (8/5): Value for money... Great. - Value for money Great... Good location, Staff very professional.
- Leovigildo (6/5): - Glad my request was granted
- James (8/5): - Cheap
- justin (10/5): - the staff very helpful cleaners arond if needed overall pretty good for hotel price good would go again seems popular
- Nestor (8/5): - None so far
- Anna Meliza (10/5): - I am satisfied.
- Joe (4/5): - It had roaches. Poor wifi.
- Maricel (4/5): - Too small
- paul (10/5): Value for money...Very good. - Quick check in & out. Location Brillant. Staff very professional and so very friendly. Stayed TT Hotel on many occasions.
- Abimbola (4/5): - My check in and stay was ok. Safety was not a concern. Cleanliness was, in a shared bathroom setting with no soap or toileteries, but that wasn't enough aggravation for me. I was not expecting the lousy location, but I obviously wanted to have a modest experience with locals away from the city rush. I defied all American odds to eat street food, ride jeeps and bikes around Ermita and Intamural. The Time Traveler's hotel staff at my check in was highly professional and she even ordered Grab bikes for me while flying back and forth Boracay and Cebu. Things fell apart at check out when a different receptionist seeking to with hold by deposit asked room service to scout my room for any evidence of liability. To my disgust, they brought down two towels I had used during my 4 day stay which were never changed, and she then began to state that they'd be understanding enough to waive washing costs. Such malerky was ridiculously a rude and ignorant gesture which pissed off my 3-day tolerance of the 1/2 star motel.
- John (4/5): - Don’t expect much for the price and that’s what you get
- Joe (2/5): look at others - save your money ---wifi the worst and seldom works 40 minutes later and on and on
- PAUL (4/5): - Too many cockroaches
- Shanmugavel (8/5): - Great location. But surrounding is not safe in the night.
- NESLAH (10/5): - It was very convenient for my mom going to SLEC. And keep telling me that the front desk is very nice, very approachable & very accomodating. You guys need to hire more like her. She deserve a raise.
- Ruth (10/5): - Convenient and walking distance going to US Embassy.
- James (10/5): - The staffs are good but the only thing I dont like is the wifi. It needs back up.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You Get what you pay for - Quite ok for the price. Bit noisy until 3 am with the nightclub downstairs and the rowdy patrons shouting when they get kicked out. 7eleven is right next door and it is very close to bars and restaurants. You get what you pay for.
- Bruno (6/5): - I can't say there was anything i liked about this place except the price, but i would definitely spend more money next stay in the area.
- Ronillo (2/5): Terrible Hotel to stay - Had initially had a problem with room reservation. staff not willing to offer help and was not approachable or personable. Internet service sucks.
- Steven (2/5): - no help, no staff, pure bad
- leonardo (4/5): Time traveller - Room is very small. Elevator not working. Water is a big problem.
- Masao (8/5): - Good for the room rate. It would be even better if there is a curtain in the shower room and the shower power is strong.
- Junfil (6/5): - Good.
- paul (6/5): Value for money...Excellent - Speedy Check In. (Php750 refundable Deposit.) Reception/Security Staff very professional and friendly. Room 406 bigger than expected. Bed was very comfortable, bed sheets/towels very clean. Although room fixtures & fittings were a little dated all was working fine. The cleaniness was very good. There is a lift.
- Christie (10/5): - I have my brother stay at this property for his interview at the US Embassy. He liked that this is walkable and vibrant community with a lot of dining and shopping options. It is also accessible to transportation if you want to use the local transit.
- Richard A (8/5): Happy - Good chopce
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There is not enough hot water to wash hair. Tooth tube is no good.
TV has a few channels.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like the small open deck at the top. And it is located near to the place in need to go. Robinson mall, church, to supercare where i do my medical, and to the agency where i apply.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean.
- Ray (2/5): - My room was roach infested. Roaches on the bed, all over the room. It was a roach infested room. The place was nasty, we had to move out on our first night there and move to a new hotel. I want a refund
- Fatima Noelyn (4/5): - I suggest the aircon not to be directed towards the bed. Better to Change the direction up the mirror so the whole room will get enough cooling. The blanket is even very thin.
- Sally (6/5): - Location is great. Room looks like it was not clean and blanket smells like smoke.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room clean. And friendly the staff. Food is nice as well
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No English tv and no elevator so had to climb four stories handycaped
- Chrystal (8/5): Nice enough - The hotel was in a good location for exploring nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were very friendly. (750P security deposit required at check-in.) The room was quite spacious and bed comfortable. The AC worked well but dripped quite a lot when set on cooler temperatures. The hot water worked well, but not much pressure. 7-11 next door was super convenient. Only complaint would be the WiFi, which required daily vouchers per device and even when connected, did not work well at all in the room, slightly better in lobby. Overall, an adequate hotel for a short stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - near us embassy and st.lukes medical extension clinic.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Time Travellers is a budget hotel in Ermita, it is good value for money, I was surprised at how large the room was. The staff were helpful and friendly.I felt safe and comfortable there. It is also in the location where I wanted to be.
- Edward (8/5): Okay for a budget hotel. - Fair location for Ermita area. Room was fairly clean with few amenities. The bed had only a sheet and when we asked for a blanket they asked for an additional fee,
- KRISTINE (8/5): - The property is clean and has basic amenities. However, the shared bathroom in the backpacker floor needs to be well maintained and should have a garbage bin.
- Expedia (8/5): - nothing to complain
- Verified traveler (2/5): - tirrable wifi, stuff is not polite they dont smile,
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its in a good location. Everything close by. Close to airport.
- Charli (10/5): - Excellent staff who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Room is gigantic! I appreciated the laid back vibe. Probably the cleanest bedding, towels and bathroom in the Philippines.
- andrew (4/5): My Superier room towel like sand paper & insects - Horrible my Superier room the towels was like sand paper
Insects left to eat me i have an infection on my knee i dont know what bit me i was hoping it would go but its still painfull i must go to the walkin doctor surgery its now a bump and red and hurts alot
Arrived back after shopping at Robbinsons 10pm to find my room had not been cleaned told can not clean until morning but i leave at 10am to go to the Airport
Slept in dirty sheets no extra soap or shampoo etc supose to get the best as its the Superior room
I stayed two nights paid alot money
for best room for some reason accross the road The Cowboy Grill Band Music was louder on this visit i have stayed before it was okay loud not this occation
Before also had Breakfast in Bed now they have stoped the Breakfast included and charged same price for the room
Hotel was short staffed from last visit had lots of staff
- Trent (10/5): - My wife first stayed in Backpackers room. She wasn’t thrilled with sharing a CR(Comfort Room). She stayed in Economy room her next stay, and it was also very affordable. She was really happy and within walking distance to both US Embassy and St. Luke’s Medical facility.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Convenient location and spacious room but the shower is very weak and my WiFi never worked.
- Tim (8/5): Huge Room, Good Location - This is an excellent hotel for a budget price. The room was extremely large, although unfortunately the bathroom was tiny. The bed was large and comfortable, and there was a table and chairs as furnishings. Bizarrely, the room was also fitted with a kitchen sink (no idea why, and no other cooking equipment or crockery). The wifi was rather slow, but that's a common problem in Manila. Good central location with bars and restaurants nearby. There's a bar on the ground floor of the same building, and Cowboy Grill right opposite for decent food, beer and live music.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Do not recommend - There were bugs in the room: roaches and ants in the bathroom and the room itself. The place doesn't look too clean. Flat screen TV is small, no cable chanels. AC barely works. This is an older budget hotel. You get what you pay for.
The only good thing about this place is the location that's within a few minutes walk to the mall, restaurants, park, and the US embassy.
Not going back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place and walking distance to the st Luke's extension clinic.
- lou (8/5): - Elevator is out of order but my luggages were carried by messenger to the fourth floor and back to the first floor when i checked out. The room is big and the price is good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Noisy. Wasnt able to sleep. You get what you paid for.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No parking, as a family, we stayed in a hotel better than this hotel for a cheaper price, I just thought this hotel would be better because it was more expensive, but its not, it was smaller too.
- Imelda G (6/5): Decent - Just okay per my niece family but it’s nearby st Luke’s and US embassy so it’s just ok
- andrew (8/5): Time Travellers Hotel Ermita Manila - I had the executive room opposite The Cowboy Grill and the bands play until 6am
It was not a problem for me as i swimming ear plugs to stop the noise
My room was very big had two king size beds and kitchinette with Microwave and kettle
The free breakfast is very small portions
But i paid for extra crispy Bacon and egg and tomatoes as i am a big eater for breakfast in bed with girlfriend also i ask for large portion of mixed fruits cost me around extra 400 Peso for two but it was worth it
Good locaton walking distance to Many Bars and Robinson Shopping Mall has every thing inside and outside
Good value for money as the rooms are a good size but can be noisy depends were is your room located
My room had a safe not all rooms have this so if you want a safe in your room request room with a safe
I have stayed many times at this Hotel and i like it
- Joseph (8/5): Budget minded accommodations. - Stayed 3 nights. Less than 2000pesos per night. Good value for the money. Big clean room. Free breakfast limited menu. Hot shower comfortable double bed aircon cools well. Refrigerator and electric kettle in room. Very good WI-FI in room. Flatscreen television. Friendly staff. Older hotel in older part of town. Close to USA Embassy. Near Robinson Mall. Near the waterfront. Near Rizal Park. Some casinos near by.
I would stay there again. If you are on a budget worth checking into.
- James (10/5): i was there for my marriage. visa interview - Everything was close nearby
- anne (8/5): Cozy place - I like that the room was big as well as the bed. Love the fluffy pillow. We booked an Executive room.
The only downside for me was that there was no parking space, but the staff was kind enough to save a spot for us by the sidewalk. We just paid 150 pesos plus tip for the guy who watched our car.
- Hilda (4/5): Everything is very disappointing. - My confirmation when I booked the family says that it has a free breakfast for 2. Time for breakfast they said only one is free and have to pay the rest of the guests. Ask about few minutes check in. They said it is considered as early check in and have to pay so I decided to just wait. That is why ww checked early as we don't want to get charge for few minutes late check out. Everything in this hotel is money.
- Leonard (8/5): Clean big room close to US embassy. Friendly staff - Good stay. No problems. Does elevator work for disabled people?
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Its clean and huge room. Im sure will be back again in this hotel.
- Antonio (10/5): Great Location and Friendly Staff - Close to the embassy and loving the helpfulness of the stafg
- daniel (6/5): Large room, but should wait until remodeling done - Large room was clean, but in the process of remodeling the bathroom. Not good.
- Ryan (8/5): Good location - It is very good place very near to st lukes medical center
- bigbaby (8/5): Nice hotel close to St. Luke's medical center - The staffs are very nice. Food is served in the room without any additional charge. The room is very spacious with a really good working AC. The only downside is they don't have daily housekeeping in the room as said in the hotel overview. They never changed the bedding nor take out the garbage in the room during the whole 4 nights/days stay in there. Have to use the stairs as well, the lift isn't working I guess.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Just Right! - It was just okay. Room is big, busy location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): No elevator, chaos for breakfast - Nothing else to add
Why this survey is not taking my comment?
- Ronald (8/5): Overnight - It was convinient and close to basic needs
- Verified traveler (6/5): - everything was okay apart from checking in and checking out it took best part of an hour for both
- Joel (8/5): Not bad for the price - They should have a plunger since the toilet does not seems to have enough pressure for flushing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient Hotel - Our family were enjoyed during our stay at your hotel. Room was spacious and clean.
- Noel (2/5): rooms are not clean when we arrived including the - they dont have customer service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient, comfortable and reasonable price - Highly recommended. the staff are so friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed our stay here. definitely will be back here again!
- Jackie L (6/5): Noisy - Very noisy, not to clean, bad wifi
- felisa (10/5): - its a nice place to stay, safe and comfortable but its more clean if there is rugs in every bathroom after bath
- james (2/5): A short week in manila - My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights and I was really hoping we had picked a good place to stay.... but......
Hotel was in a good area..close to Robinsons mall....fairly quiet street- but whatever traffic there was could easily be heard from our room due to the open layout of the hotel. Breakfast was served at our room each morning which was a nice touch- but we never got exactly what we asked for. Noise from guests and staff at all hours was annoying- a bar at the entrance didn't help. Room was v nice and comfortable ---- but there was a pest problem in the bathroom ..which the staff tried to deal with twice...... but there isn't much spray can do to get rid of cockroaches . Hotel staff were helpful about it, but didn't relocate us to another room ..or even say sorry about it. I'd suggest to others to look elsewhere for a hotel...much better places in the area to stay for the same money. My wife and I won't be staying here again.
- Don and Lerio (8/5): Big, clean room - Room was big, clean and well maintained. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and professional.
- Don and Lerio (8/5): Walking distance to St. Luke's and the Embassy - Nice big room, room service was good and meals brought up were good, too. Rooms were clean, bathroom clean and in good working order, Air Con blows cold. My wife stayed in the economy room with her two children for three days for her St. Luke's medical and she was pleased with the accommodations. We have a family room book for several days for their interview at the Embassy in two weeks, I feel confident that after the initial stay, that we will be happy with our upcoming stay. I'll post a review of that visit once we had our stay.
This was a great location for both St. Luke's and the US Embassy, both a short walk.
- scam (2/5): time travel hotel - very misleading to say the least, the room in the pic is not what you get for the price shown, the room was a prison cell, no windows, no table, no sink, or bathroom just a little bed in the corner, a night stand with two bottles of water, we're is the bathroom well you may ask the bathroom room that's was straight out of a jail you shared , with the hole floors, so it was always locked and not available in the morning, when asked about a regular room, that was 20 USA extra a day, and to add insult to injury, no towels are included with the room there extra, and after you pay for them they want them back when you leave, expedia need to put in a new rating, called US FRIENDLY or something
