Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything was ok, except for the parking, unshaded, rough ground & quite far from the tower.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Nothing is unique, not good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The place is good. The parking is too far. You need to remind the guests that during midnight they need to keep quiet not to disturb other guest.
- TinaPortillo (10/5): - Everything went well
- Mary Joy (6/5): Naaaah! - Pros - location is along the roadside.. plenty of nearby restaurants
Cons - Housekeeping/ cleanliness poor
- shower head looks disgusting
- You won’t be able to sleep like a log.. location is very very noisy!
- Jackson (6/5): Meh - Check-in and check-out were bad and they need to replace the pillows. Otherwise the view was great.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not satisfactory - Place was nice, but the room is so small and some of the amenities are not free, you need to pay like pool and gym. Aside from that you need to pay cash deposit in front desk for $20.
- Verified traveler (6/5): condo not hotel, lahat may bayad - I booked thru hotels.com and we thought this is a hotel, condo pala which is under Conceirge.. kaya if your planning to stay here be sure to bring foods because you need to walk half mile before makabili.. and also the parking area which is located beside clubhouse is so so so so far... grabe ang parking ubod ng layo sa tower, dapat masipag ka maglakad dito.. And because holiday kami nag check-in ubod ng haba ng pila sa reception, imagine need mo magparegister but you have to wait 1 hour na nkapila, may kasama pa kmi na mga bata kaya tapos sobrang daming tao at ang init sa lobby kaya kawawa.. also using Swimming pool has payment, 300/head because of holiday and parking fee is 150.. but the condo is clean, well spacious for us 5pax.. masikip na nga lang sa bed because 1double bed and sofabed lang ang meron, wala daw sila extra mattress.. wala din toiletries kahit sa room info meron nkalagay, luckily may tirang bathroom tissue ung last siguro na gumamit kaya meron sa bathroom, meron nmn handsoap un lang.. anyway, maganda nmn ung condo, next time siguro will rent nlang sa condo owner marami pala nag ooffer thru fb, late ko na nalaman mas mababa kc ang price compare kpag nagpabooked online..
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Like the amenities dont like the parking
- VisitingGuest (8/5): - What I like:
Clean, new, accessible.
What I don't like:
We had to check in beside a 7 11 store, put in a cash bond of 1,000 pesos, then go to the hotel itself, sign up with front desk, leave a government issued ID for the duration of my stay. When I made the on line booking, I indicated that there are 3 of us. When we got in the room, there were only 2 towels. No phone to call housekeeping, we have to go down to get the additional towels.
Parking was paid separately at the parking lot.
I was only visiting. I have another Expedia acct that I use in Canada to book flights & hotels & this is the first time that I had this experience with an Expedia booking. Things were all over the place.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The unit isn't clean.
- Matt Louie (6/5): Staycation in the Wind - it wasnt as expected in the picure. the room was spacious however it was too plain. sofa bed was ran down. parking was too far. however the view of the taal volcano inside was breath taking. staff were pleasant and very helpful. lastly the lobby was extra ordinary
- R.Krueger (2/5): - The hotel looks deceiving nice on the outside but a disaster in the room. I guess you really get what you paid for with the price they are offering for I have still gotten nicer hotels for 60 dollars. First of all the bathroom was filthy, towels were used, floor, mirror and sink were not clean. No hot water at all to shower or wash hands with. The bed sheets on the bed were not clean found blood on the sheets down by foot area so did not notice it until morning. The fold out bed had what looked like semen on it and had no sheets or blankets. The room was to host 4 guest. They also have an ant issue so beware. I would most definitely look at other rooms. The room appeared to be nice when walking in but you will end up finding all the hidden gems that you probably do not want to find. The only positive about it was the view but hope you can sleep with bright lights and the sliding door does shut completely so wind is constantly whistling through it. Honestly would have just spent the other 20/40 dollars for another place. Pictures are very deceiving!! Best of luck and Happy hunting if you decide to stay at this hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was so dirty honestly, the towel was wet when we received, the floor I don’t know why so oily, ask cleaners to clean is same also, very dirty, and the room have cockroaches 😭😭😭
- woodrow (10/5): Great - It was a very great experience. Nice and clean place. I will highly recomended
- AMENAIRAH (10/5): Beautiful - The place is really beautiful. Given the chance i will stay there for a week. The room is very clean. I love the lakeview from our room. Food is not a problem because there is 7 eleven at the UG.. But it could have been perfect if a recetionist is there as early at 7am to cater traveller who will check out earlier to catch a flight.. Thank you
- Rosalina (6/5): - No WIFI
- pierre (8/5): QUALITY room with a NICE view! - We booked a room on the EIGHT floor. From the balcony, we had VERY NICE views of the Taal lake and volcano. In the room, there is a sliding door separating the bedroom from the rest of the room. There is NO Wi-Fi.
For the check-in, the office is opened until 9:00 PM. It might be a good idea to check-in AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, in case there are some problems with your room. Because, after 9:00 PM, there is no one in the office until the next morning. I understand that it might then take LONGER to get assistance.
There is paid parking. As for the parking area, it might be a little bit of a walk, BUT ONLY IF you have a mobility issue.... IF NOT, then it is O.K!
There is a fee for the use of the swimming pool. You have to pay at the building next door. You CANNOT pay at the pool itself.... something to keep in mind. SECURITY is GOOD at the entrances to the building.
- Christine (10/5): i want to go back for a staycation - Very accomodating staff and very clean room..
- Anjo Dacia (10/5): Value for Money - Overall had a nice stay. Staff of Conceirge at Wind Residences were very accommodating.
- Jun (4/5): Deceiving Hotel Pictures - The room is too small for four adults, zero privacy, no room division and/or divider, no terrace, and they dare call it "Premium." The images of the rooms we'd seen prior to booking were clearly meant to deceive.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice location - Cant comment further. Just stayed to sleep from past 12 MN til 10am
- Verified traveler (4/5): No system, far parking lot and decent club house - The impression of the area is nice but I don't like that they do not have unified system of check-in and check-out. If I am a customer who just came from a 12-hour flight and I had to check myself in to multiple locations just to get into my room - I would be really upset. You have to surrender your ID to them and if they lose it, they just say "I'm sorry" and will not provide anymore assistance. On top of that, a guest have to park verrryyyyy far from the units. AGAIN, if you are very tired from a long flight - all I want to do is park my car, check in and go to my room. And as for checking-out - you have to do the same thing of checking-out to multiple locations which is the hardest check-out I've ever had.
The room itself is small and not really the best, the clubhouse is decent but I really think you can find better value somewhere else for the same price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the room is very clean and all the hotel staff are very friendly and the facilities are beautiful we enjoyed our stayed at your Hotel very good very nice
- Lara (6/5): Could've been better. - Our stay was just a so-so. The room was not as what we expected. It's supposed to be good for 4 but it's already somehow crowded already for the 3 of us. The floor was always moist and the hotel could have at least provide slippers. Our room was said to be with the view from Taal volcano but we could only see the side of it.
The parking area is way too far from the lobby and it was raining and windy during our stay so this is a real hassle. Plus the parking fee that comes with it (P100 for single entry and P150 for multiple entries, both for overnight).
The good thing is that the staff are great. They managed to allow us for an early check-in minus the fee (standard check-in is at 3PM and we arrived at around 1:30PM). They are very accommodating and approachable.
- Amjad (8/5): The hotel - The viow is very nice with balcony
But This hotel doesn't provide breakfast and the check in is very complicated
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Comfortable but parking is difficult. Pay parking amd no lights
- Kat (6/5): Somewhat okay stay - I was expecting that they have the standard amenities provided by the hotel such as shampoo, toothbrush, etc etc but all we found was an all around cleanser which we do not know if it is a dishwashing cleanser or not.
The Concierge check in and check out area is a little bit uncomfy for the guest as you have to go through Tower 1 do your admin stuff. They should improve the parking as if it gets too crowded, the guests park in tall shrubbery area.
Overall it was okay but needs a lot of improvement.
- rolando (4/5): A very unfortunate stay. - I was lured by teaser for this hotel. The kids were very aghast having been to a cheaper but cozy hotel in the same place in tagaytay. The room was sparse, it looked like a hospital! We have to endure two check in ptocesses in two separate towers. We looked forward to swin in the swimming pool as shown in the ads. But there is a separate fee and you have to walk across the compound. The place is eerie with white paints for the hallways.
- Gina (2/5): It's a barracks not a hotel; bed is uncomfortable! - If you want a simple place to stay and don't mind waking up with a backache this is the place. No ambience at all, looks like a military barracks..! Parking is not free, and just to register you have to park your vehicle in front the building then move to the back tower to check-in, drop your Personal ID, pick up the key. Too many run around.
- arnel (6/5): Safe and central location but... - We made a booking for 6 nights. Whilst the location was good and central and very safe, the arrangements provided was below satisfactory. 4 adults were booked and only 2 very thin towels (1 stained) provided for the whole period. One floor mat for the shower, one fitted sheet and a bed cover. No flat sheet provided. No bed linen for the sofa bed at all. Both beds had hard mattresses to sleep on. Obviously the place has not been used for sometime as the bathroom/toilet had a lot of black insects on the walls. Any extra towel or bed linen would incur extra costs. As no room service was provided unless paid by the hour, we did the daily cleaning ourselves. To make matters worse, we were advised that they don't provide rubbish bags at all. It was only when I expressed concerns with hygiene that they produced 1 plastic bag. The soap dispensers installed were empty and there was no tea towels in the cooking area. Parking had to be paid for, the price having increased between booking and actual accommodation (couldn't be paid prior).
The place had a very good view of the volcano, pity the glass wall was filthy so we had to slide the glass open to appreciate the view. The place is very safe with security posted at all entrances. Staff in general was friendly. We did not use the pool as extra charges required as well.
- shawn (8/5): - No Internet in the place, but good place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel, very near to the place like market, restaurant, church.
Very accommodating staff.
- Ricky (6/5): Taal - Hotel staff were accommodating. Our stay was peaceful and we had a great view of Taal.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice experience - It was amazing stay. Accessible to everything
- Verified traveler (8/5): A home away ftom home - My family had a pleasant stay. We were comfortable, the conceirge people were nice and accommodating including the housekeeping. The unit assigned to us was ok except for the low water pressure in the bathroom and hot water was not functioning well. But overall, it was good and will definitely come back. Thank you
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room I buy from expedia was not the room given to me . When I confront them what happened it was the mistake of there encoder or staff that's why only standard room was given to us instead of premium room. And the worst thing was the room given to us aircon is not working good the shower and heater was not working too. I booked this 3 to 4 months ago expecting we could get the best room but the it was the worst vacation we have experienced. I'm particulary complaining to THE CONCIERGE whos is responsible from all of this worst vacation. And to add more THE CONCIERGE staff is only available until 9:00pm that's why if you have problem with your stay nobody from THE CONCIERGE staff will be there to help you.
- cristine (4/5): No directive to supervise trouble shoot concern - disgusting to wait for three hours. no directive to assist concerns. emergency is not a reason like UNDERSTAFF thing. There must be a standby staff on call for this purpose.
But on the contrary, I appreciate lyn the front desk staff for the great attitude.
- Eugene (10/5): Recommendable - I give it 4.5 stars because the location is perfect with good view of the lake, price is cheap, while the apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable with good cable tv. If there's anything I can ask for, its the wifi, there was none.
- Trevor (8/5): Great for a short stay - Very convenient location at a good price.
- eddie (2/5): Disppointing - I booked 5 rooms at concierge but so diappointed bec the lobby took the drivers license of my foreign guests and keep it until they checked out. No closet no hanger. No coordination between concierge and lobby. No wifi
Terrible stat for my guests
- Belladana (8/5): - Good location, clean room, good stat
- kris (10/5): Pleasant - First room was awful
Helpful staff transfered us following day to a awesome room 15th floor
Staff very friendly AAA+++
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient hotel for a family weekend getaway - The rooms (especially the beautiful view of the Taal Lake and Volcano), the facilities, and the location of the property are all good, but some services need improvement. First, when we requested some items from the front desk staff of the Wind Residences where the rooms are located, they just told us that the requests should be directed to The Concierge staff who are stationed in another building, and they do not have a direct line to connect to the other. Second, The Concierge is also open until 9:00pm only, so that when their guests have urgent concerns beyond that time, no staff can assist the latter on these concerns. Guests must wait for them on the next day. Third, we also requested for additional beddings since we requested for a room for 3 persons and only beddings for two were provided, but we received no addditional beddings. Fourth, the range hood was not working. This was already reported to the Concierge staff. The Management may want to check on these to improve their services for their future clients.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient and clean hotel - The stay was very good and the staff were very accommodating.
- Sha (8/5): Nice Locations & Clean Hotel - The place was good. But the concierge have the less people to accommodate all the guest they have at the time of our check in, we waited for more than 20 minutes for us to be assisted. I heard so much about the SM property how they deal with their clients is so bad. I already experienced it during the holiday with my family. Parking is so bad because its too far from the tower where we stay. Instead they made arrangements for the guests to use a closer area wherein there"s a lot of parking spaces to be used. Mostly of the guest there was really bad due to lack of coordination also with staff there. Guards was cordial, but the least they can do is to smile while the guest having hard time going to gravel sand parking area. I hope they can do something to improve it.
- anna lee (4/5): Winds tagaytay - The room was not ready when we arrived. It was peak season dec 29 but there were only 3 stafff who reported that day causing the guests to be irrirated as they wait for 1.5 hrs just to get into their rooms. No towel was provided. No toothbrush and tooth paste. This is not cool....
- Veronica (6/5): Okey condotel. - Check-in time of 3 pm is late. And yet they checked me in almost 4pm.
No free parking.
- Marie Jessica (10/5): Comfortable place - Had a comfortable stay, thank you to Nancy for her good assistance. The room was clean and smelling good. My sister even cooked for dinner during our stay. All the kitchenware and dinnerware were available. The view of the lake from the bedroom and balcony was superb. Even the security in the building was good.
- Philip (6/5): Ok Hotel - No wifi. Access pool for 150. Car parking is chargeable after 9PM.
