• ghizela (8/5): A little sanctuary of calm. - Windhoek after dark is really a gated community. Tourists are encouraged to travel by taxi. But the hotel is a little sanctuary of calm to collect yourself and prepare for an epic safari or recover from.... an epic safari. And the breakfasts are wonderful. Home cooked food prepared with a smile. A very easy-going experience.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Kleines, charmantes Boutique Hotel - Sehr angenehmes kleines Hotel. Wer es einfach mag ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Die Zimmer sind alle individuell eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, alles ist sauber. Kein Luxus aber viel Charme und sehr gemütlich. Eine kleine Oase.

Die Zimmer sind in einem guten Zustand und und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Die Innenstadt kam fußläufig erreicht werden in ca. 10-15 Minuten. Je nach Lage des Zimmers kann das Wlan ab und an etwas schwach sein.

• francoise (8/5): Very practical hotel - The restaurant is nice, the atmosphere pleasant and it's close to town (easy walking distance). Only downside during our stay, we liked the place so booked for two more nights for after our return from our tour directly with the receptionist , I confirmed it again the following day but when we got back there was no reservation. Luckily the place was not full.

• Derek (10/5): Very good guest house with quiet rooms - Very good place to stay. Our room had a separate sitting room with TV, tea & coffee making plus a fridge. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent - continental with a choice of five different cooked breakfasts. Dinner is available and good - cooked on a braii. Great gar with good atmosphere where barman Michael ("Yippee") made all his customers very welcome. Together with an excellent reception service, we enjoyed Windhoek Gardens so much that we went back again at the end of our trip.
• Louis (10/5): Hidden Gem In Windhoek - The Windhoek Gardens was a great place to stay for a few days before leaving on a Namibia trip as well as for a few days after coming back. Everybody from the owners down to the cleaners were extremely helpful and nice. Good breakfast and great value for money dinners. We were a group of 6 and all had very good stay!
• Jeannette (10/5): A great stay!! - The Windhoek Gardens Guesthouse was so welcoming and tastefully decorated with each room having a unique décor. The staff were lovely and worked so hard to make our stay not only comfortable but fun. Yeppie was a great bartender and so friendly! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The dinners were tasty and so reasonably priced! The outside sitting area was cozy. The owner Hendry was also friendly and welcoming. Overall, a wonderful to stay at while in Windhoek, within walking distance to the city center. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
• Janet (8/5): Clean, cheap and cheerful - Stayed at Windhoek Gardens 3 separate nights on a recent trip to Namibia. Staff efficient. Each room is unique in plan and decoration. We stayed twice in upstairs rooms - only 2 floors to the rambling complex- and they were bigger than the downstairs room we requested last night. Breakfast typical for Namibia: continental with cheese and cold cuts and cooked breakfast with eggs and bacon/sausage. We ate our evening meal there twice from their limited menu which is different each night.

• Jon (6/5): Wish staff was there to check us in. - Arrived at 10:10 in the evening and no one was onsite. Called no answer. Broke into a room through a window to sleep along with a family from Germany also had the same issue Very frustrating. Great hotel and nice breakfast but there should be a staff member on site at all times. Namibian roads are bad and you never know when you'll have a flat tire (Which led to us arriving late)

• Kevin (10/5): So pleased we found this place!! - Good location for accessing city centre and restaurants. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Wifi is free but can be a tad slow at times. However, we would definitely recommend as a very clean and welcoming guest house.
• Kristina (10/5): Fantastic family friendly guest house - We were immediately greeted with smiles and a very warm welcome. The staff were all very helpful with my 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old children. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We ended up booking for a further 2 nights. Will stay again when in Windhoek.

• FLIGHT CENTRE (8/5): Good for one nights sleep - In a industrial Area but good accommodation.
• Andre (8/5): Excpet for the Wi-Fi, this was an enjoyable stay. - As a whole the package was good and enjoyable BUT for the Wi-Fi internet connection which was unstable, weak in my room and slow. As a business men staying there on business I need a stable, strong and fast internet connection. This is the only negative aspect out of an otherwise pleasant stay.
• mike (10/5): Wonderful hotel, excellent food, responsive staff - This is the best hotel in windhoek ,namibia! It easily beats out hilton, marriott or any of the big chains. the rooms are excellent, well designed, spacious, clean. I stayed here for 6 nights, so i think i can say this is a safe, no noise, clean, best place i could have chosen. I lucked out. The dinner if they are doing the bbq which goes on every other day is insanely good. I'm a real customer not prefabricated and honestly i think they should have charged way more, like double the price.
• Flight Centre SA (8/5): Lovely guest house with excellent service - Don't be fooled by ongoing construction. The guest house is beautiful and the service is fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be staying here again.
