- Paul (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay here. Very close to everything that's happening in Manayunk. The ambiance of the property is top shelf, the breakfast is outstanding, and the host is a wealth of information about the city.
- Diane (10/5): What a find! - Mark is a very gracious host and his homemade bakery items are delicious!
- Aimee (10/5): - Charming B and B experience! Host makes the best granola and our pastry basket thoughtfully included gluten free options. Our second stay in the past year. So convenient to Main Street.
- Julia (10/5): - This was the best BNB experience I’ve ever had- and Mark is the greatest. The property cannot be undersold, a gorgeously restored victorian with bespoke details— so clearly a labor of love. Breakfast was divine, baked goods and cappuccinos by the owner were such a delight. I would be back tomorrow if I had a good excuse.
- Jeff (10/5): - Great host. Breakfast 6 Stars!
- Djamshed (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, and
- Devika (8/5): - The property was amazing and very much as presented. The host was terrific and takes great pride in his home and creating a welcoming space. The parking was limited so when you find a spot, stay there and breakfast is continental style but still very generous of a host and great experience !

- Elvira (10/5): - Mark, the owner, is very thoughtful. This place is amazing, the breakfast was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay at Manayunk Chambers Guest house. We were visiting for our daughter’s graduation and Mark made sure that our stay was perfect!

- Ripley (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful property and the service is amazing. The host served us the most beautiful and delicious breakfast i've ever had, of pastries and baked goods as well as fruits and yogurt. I would go again any time i'm even near philly visiting.

- Frank (10/5): - The lobby area with TV and fruit/snacks and decor was very nice!
- David (10/5): Wonderful Home - I highly recommend this place. Very cozy living area, incredible attention to detail, lots of snacks and water provided.
It's great to give business to small business owners--skip the hotel chains and stay here. You will feel good about doing so, and will love your accommodations and the easy access to Main Street.
- Susan (10/5): - Gorgeous Victorian BnB, great location to walk to Main Street. Breakfast is unbelievable, quality and service of a 5 star hotel. So much attention to detail, Mark is a treasure and so interesting.
- Aimee (10/5): - Mark is the consummate host, very hospitality-oriented. Run, do not walk, for the homemade baked goods basket, delicious lattes, and the comfy beds. Plus, Manayunk has a cute main street
- Pamela (10/5): - Lovely restored historic property with a very caring proprietor. Wonderful room and fresh baked breakfast. Conveniently located. Very close to Main St. I will return!

- Richard S. (10/5): Charming and delicious - So charming, both the hotel and the host. Steps from all the restaurants and canal footpath as well as the station. Breakfasts are incredible! Fireplace in the room. Clean and comfy!
- Tod (10/5): Philly weekend - My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Manayunk and visiting Philly Christmas Village and pop-up Christmas bars. House was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Mark was a great host and highly recommend for anyone visiting Philly area.
- Christopher (10/5): - Nice, quiet, great breakfast.
- Brian (8/5): - The location was amazing. Mark was phenomenal. The food was fantastic. Our only criticism is the stain glass window in the bedroom. It let in a lot of the hallway light, which made it difficult to sleep. But that is not enough to detract from the overall experience, we'll be back.
- Thomas (10/5): - My fiancée and I were in town for a wedding. Our host, Mark, was incredibly hospitable. If we ever return to PN we will certainly be staying here again. I would have paid almost $100 more a night to stay at the recommended hotel, and I know we wouldn't have had even close to the hospitality we were given here. Simply incredible. 11 out of 10.
- LARRY (8/5): - Love the property and the host is great-would definitely recommend!
- Emily (10/5): - Our stay was absolutely perfect. Very relaxing, homey atmosphere. Did not feel like a hotel but was like staying at a relative's house. Mark was a wonderful, welcoming host with out of this world pastries for breakfast.
- Elenita (10/5): - We stayed overnight, and was most impressed by how Mark had made our stay special in every way. He met us with a warm welcome even though it was late. There were drinks and snacks. The room was elegant, supplied with everything you could possibly need, and the bed was very comfortable. It didn’t stop there. Breakfast was amazing. We’re served with grilled pineapples, fresh berries, yogurt and warm scones, muffins and bread all freshly baked by none other than Mark himself. It was delightful. Thanks to Mark and the rest of the crew who made our stay special.
- Medussa (10/5): - Mark is THEE best host ever and the rooms are beautiful as well as the common areas. His complementary breakfast is out of this world. If your in Philadelphia, this place is a must!!!
- Matt (10/5): Dream stay - I loved everything about it, except that we had to leave I cannot wait to come back and see Mark and enjoy his delicious breakfast
- Medussa (10/5): - This is one the BEST, clean, hospitable places ever!!!!! Mark is an absolute delight, attentive, and makes sure each and every guest feels welcome. From the high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers, to the Persian rugs and hardwood floors, this place honors the history and beauty of the early 1900’s. If you are on the fence about staying in a B&B or you’ve never done it, do yourself a favor…stay here! You will have a restful luxurious good night sleep!
- Brian (10/5): - Mark is an awesome host!! He is very responsive, makes a seriously mean breakfast(Heath bar scones anyone?). He is also extremely knowledgeable about the area and many topics! I was there visiting my daughter who is in graduate school there and he was awesome in having her and two friends over for breakfast. The area is great too!!
- Marissa (10/5): Amazing Stay. What a gem! - What a wonderful experience. The room was super comfortable, the food was terrific, the host was so kind and generous, and the location was perfect. Cannot recommend more.
- Roy (10/5): - House is beautiful. Our room was wonderful, very clean, great attention to detail . Mark has some serious skills as a chef, and the breakfast was incredible. We were blown away, and cannot wait to go back again . Lovely lovely place, wonderful host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Mark is an exceptional host. His gourmet cooking skills gave breakfast a new meaning. The Victorian decor was a set back in time. I enjoyed spending quiet time in the parlor.
- Jessie (10/5): What a lovely place! - What a beautiful row house! It was filled with lovely antiques and beautifully maintained. The amenities were numerous. Many drinks and wine options were available as well as snacks, and the common room had many wonderful books to read and comfortable places to sit. The breakfast really impressive and included exquisite fresh baked goods made on the premises as well as berry crepes and whipped honey yogurt with fresh-baked granola shards. The coffee was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the company of the other guests.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Manayunk is a small fun little town. Our stay was great, the BnB is a great old home and the host Mark is tremendous. Highly recommend
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Had an excellent time, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I had perhaps the best scone I ever ate.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We enjoyed the breakfasts very much. Every bteakfast was delicious, unique and beautifully presented. The owner Mark was a gracious host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): The breakfasts alone are worth the stay! - The hotel stay was a gift from our daughter and her husband. The food was exquisite, Mark was so warm and accommodating, and the bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to get out of it. I loved the large multi-sprayer shower. About the food- Mark. Is a talented chef/baker. Everything was personally hand-crafted and baked. Mmmmmmm! Finally, the location was perfect- walking distance to the beautiful and quaint Main Street in Manayunk.
- Michael (10/5): Unique spot in a nice historic neighborhood - A quaint, unique place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet, but just a few blocks from the main Manayunk strip. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
- Patricia (10/5): Don't miss this amazing B&B - I stay at B&B's all over the Northeast for work. This is by far one of the very best!!
The property is located near the heart of Manayunk yet it's in a relaxed & quiet neighborhood.
Fresh flowers adorn the space. Wine, beer and goodies are about for your enjoyment.
Mark, the property owner, makes the most amazing breakfast!!! Fresh baked pastries in a warmed basket and a fabulous gourmet breakfast is what awaits you.
Not to mention a very kind and caring property owner.
- Marianne (10/5): - The cozy, vintage guest rooms are just what an old fashioned B&B should be! (Lots of modern conveniences but the setting harkens back to times gone by.) The host is awesome and the breakfast is home cooking with a restaurant presentation! We've stayed here before and will again.
- Lynda (10/5): Amazing - Amazing. Booked already for next year. Best hospitality from Mark The owner and had a great time visiting with the rest of the guests.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I was not able to get a credit for a future stay when the date of my reservation needed to be cancelled 5 days In advance. Innkeeper said since I booked through Expedia he could not accommodate.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely place, very beautiful, warm and friendly, great breakfast. The proprietor is marvelous, the perfect host. Will definitely come again.
- Kayla (10/5): A stylish stay in the heart of downtown Manayunk - We absolutely loved our stay at the Manayunk Chambers Bed & Breakfast! The facility was super clean, classy, and well-decorated. Our host Mark was so friendly and accommodating. The guest house was also very conveniently located within a comfortable walking distance of all the best restaurants and bars that Manayunk has to offer. My only criticism is that the grandfather clock in the entryway was a little loud and my significant other is a light sleeper, so he woke up a few times throughout the night. Overall, amazing experience. Would definitely recommend!
- Monica (10/5): - Fantastic stay. Wonderful home, company and breakfast.
- Joshua (10/5): - Mark was extremely professional and went above and beyond in every since of service. Breakfast was always top notch. Would Def. recommend this to all my friends. Great lil B&B!! Thanks for a great stay!
- Matt (10/5): - What a wonderful experience! Mark was such a gracious host. He has thought of everything to make every guest have a comfortable stay. By far the best breakfast we've ever had! We will definitely be coming back!
- Elza (10/5): 10 stars! - This place was so exquisite!!! Mark made our stay more comfortable as the days went on. So accommodating, not to mention DELICIOUS breakfast served. Such an amazing experience.
- Tom (10/5): - Beautiful restored property tall ceilings nice fixtures friendly and attentive staff Mark did all he could to accommodate us to get in early etc. etc. very well run will not be disappointed it if you stay here . Will definitely return
- Brian (10/5): Local Gem in Manayunk! - I’m in Philadelphia pretty regularly for business and decided to stay at a local spot near where I’m working and as a result I stumbled into this great little bed and breakfast. You expect a B&B to be high touch and very accommodating but Mark took that to the next level. From the wine at the door to the cashews to the recommendations for dinner and the fresh baked goods in the morning it was a great stay! Thanks again and i’ll Be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Superb Service - The bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooms were incredibly clean, and the level of service provided was above and beyond.
- Deb (10/5): Adorable B&B walking distance to Manayunk - I cannot say enough about our awesome host, Mark.
After a long ride in bad weather we were greeted by Mark and invited into the cozy parlor with fireplace for refreshment with local beer and soft ptetzels (it’s a philly thing).
After relaxing a bit, he showed us our room as well as the other rooms. Lucky us being the first guests to arrive so we could see the other accomations.
Each room and bath have been lovingly restored. It is evident that Mark put much effort into assuring each guest’s comfort.
Mark is very knowledgeable about the area and offered lots of useful information about the area.
- Benmichael (10/5): Such an amazing host - Never have I been treated with such hospitality as I have with Mark. The accommodation was spotless and built for a king. The food was glorious. This was the best bed-and-breakfast I’ll probably ever experience. Five stars; I’d give it 10 if I could!
- Paul (10/5): You must stay here. - The stay was amazing. A really lovely and comfortable place with very kind and creative people.
- Karen (10/5): Amazing Stay! - Manayunk chambers guest house was wonderful! I was in town for my sons graduation from St. Joe's and had the most amazing experience here. The house itself was lovely and Mark was very accommodating and helpful not only with the stay but also with the surrounding area. I was new to the Bed and Breskfast experience but can't wait to go back!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The owners are very kind and gracious. They provide a beautiful five-star breakfast. But I should say that for this high a price there should be a television in the guestroom, and there should be a lock on the door. After a long day at a convention I look forward to catching up on the news - no TV anywhere.
The home itself is historic and lovely, but for this room rate - one shouldn't have walls in a state of repair - missing wallcovering in areas - being patched - I think this is not a new condition- the bedside drawer had bits and pieces of door hardware and screws .
I really appreciate the efforts by the owners to make this a special experience. If the same TLC shown during breakfast went into the guest rooms I would recommend it.
- Amber (10/5): April Stay - Absolutely loved this place. We were within walking distance to the downtown area with restaurants and bars. Our room was super comfortable and charming (fireplace, yeah!!). Mark was attentive without being overbearing, and we felt completely taken care of. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE!!!
