Staff is friendly and helpful, terrace is pleasant for a late nightcap.. Solid, dependable, easy on the budget
• Adam (6/5): Nice hotel, couple small problems ruined our stay - Staff very nice, food lovely. Down sides from our 1night stay are: 1) Half way through eating our meal we was told to move tables from outside to inside as they had a business party to host (we was 5mins from finishing our meal) no one turned up for the party till we was finished & leaving. 2) The balcony was very dirty, had to pick up liter and cigarets before our two year old went out there. 3) cigarets left in the ashtray on our balcony. 4) The mattress in room 31 has collapsed and has a sunken hole in it. This had ruined my back the next morning.
• Getaway04777574233 (8/5): convenient commercial hotel - Based on a 3-night stay: a convenient hotel somewhat at the city's edge but useful for doing radial trips out to marsh and salt-pan areas for bird watching and walking. Rooms are snug, fairly quiet if not facing the highway, and the owner quickly allowed comfortable chairs for working at the desk to be substituted for the stools provided. Breakfast options: around 5 different ones; dinners were good, especially salads. No lift.

• Duane (8/5): - Hotel Milano is a nice well kept privately owned small hotel. The breakfast has variety and is good, rooms are clean and staff are very helpful. There is a pleasant outside dining area, too. The air conditioning was great! The few downsides of the property is the size of the room with one double bed, no chairs, and no hooks to dry towels, and the platform bed (with no foundation) was too soft for me. The mosquitoes can be bothersome. A small investment in citronella candles would help and make the outdoor seating more romantic.

• m50lws (8/5): Very good value - Very easy to find when coming from the north, which is the side of Burgas where the airport is located. Modest forecourt and frontage to the road, with a larger cleared area next door for extra parking.. Reception was welcoming with very good English. Rooms are located over two floors with no lift. The front looks across the road to a park area, the rear is rather more built up. The room itself was of good size with two large twin mattresses on a queen size base. Pillows were a little wanting if you need greater support. Breakfast was functional, peach juice would appear to be more in vogue than orange juice in Bulgaria. The hot food servings could be a little slow to be replenished but were freshly cooked. Overall a very good experience at a good price.

• levdesyatov (4/5): 08/2019 - Unfortunately, on the eve of our departure, misfortune passed: the grandfather in the family died. Naturally, we had to cancel everything and go to the funeral. So I can only leave feedback on hotel communication: we had a non-refundable reservation, and the hotel refused to cancel the penalty or did not offer to reschedule the reservation at a later time.

• holligong (8/5): Small family type hotel - If coming from the airport with own car it's easy to find the hotel as it is along that road about 2-3 km before the center. Hotel suits best to guests with own car since bus stop is not very near. The rooms are in good condition and clean. In my opinion it's rather unnecessary to book and pay for room with balcony facing the sea. Balconies are very small, the sea is very far away and the traffic noice prevents staying on the balcony. However, the noice can hardly be heard when balcony door is closed. Basic breakfast is served. All staff members are very friendly and helpful.

• Kjell-Magne (8/5): Vennetur til Burgas - Vi hadde 4 fine dager her. Byen og parkene var lett å bevege seg i. Mange fine resturanger med god mat og drikke. Det var også billig. Vi kommer sikret tilbake.
• John (10/5): Hyggelig hotell - Kjekke, blide og hjelpsomme folk på hotellet. Snakket bra engelsk slik at kommunikasjonen fungerte bra. Enkel og god frokost. God middag. Litt langt fra sentrum, men grei bussforbindelse. Noe trafikkstøy i rom som vender mot veien foran hotellet.

• Marina (10/5): Visit Milano! - The hotel is new, and very good decorated and designed; very clean. Milano located approximately 12-15 min away by car from the central auto and train station and port; approximately 10 min by car from the central walking touristic street( 20-25min by walking thought the wonderful botanic garden). Milano has a big restaurant with inside and outside sitting area, which is used for the regular breakfast ( included or not) and for the dining on the rest of the day. They have a great room service. Reception is a 24hrs and very responsive and polite. Internet worked very well. The hotel is not big, it’s like a family hotel, with only 4 floors, and DOESNT have an elevator. However, if your laggage is not heavy, you are not leaving on the last floor, and doesnt wear the high heels,- then you will be happy and comfortable :) I recommend this hotel. Thank you!
• lub0g (4/5): Good hotel BUT very unpleasant noise! - This hotel is more or less OK, rooms are well cleaned, service is ok, location is appropriate if you have car or use a taxi. BUT in MY ROOM 16 in few minutes started very unpleasant noise from ventilation of the hotel and this noise is strong. The noise is short 15-20 sec. but when it is in midnight is crazy! I can't recommend this hotel!
• rade-bg (10/5): Excelent location and very good food - Excelent location, close to the main beach. Bycicles can be reneted with 10 min ride to the main beach and close to the city centre. Good choice of food is available in the restaurant. Place has easy access by car and car parking provided.
• MGIYP (10/5): one night at Milano - great location , 9 kms from airport, 2kms from city centre, 1 km from local beach and sea food bars. Hotel clean, friendly and cheap. Hotel staff very helpful. Food good quality. Cant fault it at all ( Oh no elevators to 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor)
• OutintheBlue (8/5): Nice hotel with free bikeservice - Very nicely decorated and new hotel next to a busy road, from which you don't hear anyhing inside the room. So that is very good! However, the curtains in the room are not much darkening the room and also a fridge is missing. It took a while before the water in the shower was gone, which resulted in a wet bathroomfloor allover. Other than that, the room was nice. The breakfast buffet is small, but sufficient, with nice homemade pancakes. But disappoing is that there's only one free coffee or tea included in the breakfast, so no (free) refills. A fantastic thing however is the free bike service to explore the city and the seagardenpark and beach, as it is a bit too far to walk. The staff was very friendly and it was a great value for the money.
• mackenzie1981 (6/5): Basic hotel with clean, functional rooms, a good restaurant and close to airport - I spent my last night in Bulgaria at the Milano Hotel, after two days of touring the country with my private guide. I was flying out early the next morning, so I was looking for a hotel that is not too far from the airport--this one is only around 6 km away and is very easy and inexpensive to access by taxi. The rooms at Milano hotel are basic, but functional. They were clean and reasonably comfortable. I enjoyed the hotel's restaurant on the ground floor when I arrived in the evening, and had an excellent freshly baked pizza and some Bulgarian crepes for dessert. The restaurant's kitchen is open late, so this a great place to grab a meal if you arrive a little later in the evening--and it is very reasonably priced too. The hotel offered a complimentary continental breakfast, which was perfectly adequate and shortly after that, the receptionist called a taxi for me and I was off to the airport in no time. Milano Hotel is probably ideal for two types of guests: for those just staying the night before travelling on, or for those who prefer accommodation in a quieter, less hectic and less "touristy" location than one of the big beach resorts in the area.

Pros • Cheap • Has a restaurant (reasonable prices, okay food) • Nice and clean (which is the most important) • Location Cons • Not enough parking lots • No lobby area • Only one hot drink is free during breakfast • Poor (but free) breakfast
• Gill (8/5): Close to the beach. Child friendly. - The food in the restaurant is really good. Try the aubergine dip, I couldn't find it anywhere else in Bourgas. It is very close to the sea garden and the buses are easy, when you have an idea of which way you are going and from where to where. The bus is very cheap. Try the fish dishes as they are fresh and tasty.
• Q1243ZQrobertk (10/5): "AN ALMOST" PERFECT HOTEL IN BURGAS - The Hotel is very Modern and situated perfectly in the City with dynamic joyful coastal water views. The Hotel has an Italian Inspired Theme and does pull this off very well, so you feel you are in Italy and not Bulgaria. The Staff are English Speaking and are very friendly and very helpful. A lot of the Bulgarian Hotels the staff seem unapproachable as they are unhappy in their jobs or as they don't speak English, its difficult for them to engage with you, so i was very happy here as this was not the case in this Hotel. The Italian Theme is carried out throughout the entire Hotel and into the bedrooms, where they are very nicely decorated with modern furniture. The rooms have excellent heating (self controlled system) and are very cosy. The Restaurant is very good and has a nice selection of food and drink (Coffee is however on the very small cup size). The balcony is very nice so you can pop on it for a bit and watch the world go by outside before heading out or going to bed. I really LOVED this hotel and will stay again, but not in that room. It is very hard to find good Hotels in Bulgaria (and I have found a few Excellent Secret Hotels which you will not find on the web and I won't disclose this info so I know Bulgaria does have them), but I can say that this one is a Very Good/Excellent Hotel, almost perfect, but not quite there! The only 4 negative things about this hotel are: 1 - Noise. They have created a child zone to the side of the Reception area which is then adjacent to the stairwell, which means you can and do hear the little monsters screaming and bashing the toys there. If the Hotel abolished this child area altogether and band children from this hotel, this hotel would be perfect. But with this in play, the noise is pretty bad and you hear everything in the Reception area so if you want to have a lie down before heading out, you can't sleep. I was told that other rooms you wouldn't hear as much noise as the room i was in had the coastal views. This will be put to test later in the year! 2 - Noise. You do hear the water being used or flushed from the other rooms next door and above, which can be annoying, but not at all as bad as the kids area. 3 - Parking. There is only space for a few cars in-front of the Hotel, and the rest have to park to the side of the Hotel where its not paved and you are parking in mud and its not nice to really park there and ought to be paved into a proper car-park area. 4 - Accessory. The only thing missing in the room was in the bathroom, where a towel ring would have been great to have next to the basin to hang your towel on.
• dragos511 (10/5): great hotel - We stayed in the top floor apartment. It was very clean and quiet with a view of the salt lake. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cooking at the restaurant was great and the prices not expensive at all. The hotel is on the Burgas ring road , so access is really good. It's about 5 minute's drive from the city beach and about 10 min from the city centre.
