• Guilherme (8/5): Natureza - Não escolheria outro lugar para ficar em Santa Catalina. A localização é perfeita, isolada em frente a praia, com nascer e por do sol lindos. Ficar em Santa Catalina é ficar longe da melhor praia no local que é El Estero Falta um chuveiro na frente do bungalow para lavar os pés

• Milena (7/5): una estancia tranquila y con una playa majestuosa. - Lo que mas le gustó es el lugar donde se encuentra en hostal, con playas realmente hermosas, gracias a ésta ubicación se pudo disfrutar de facilidades brindadas a las personas que se hospedan en el hostal. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, y para viajar solo es perfecto. Disfruté mucho la paz que brinda. Es muy bueno para conocer personas. La habitación es amplia, agradable y tiene un buen aire acondicionado. Las facilidades del hostal están un poco viejas, tales como las sillas playeras y los muebles que están fuera de la cabaña donde me quedé. Por otro lado, dentro de las facilidades mencionadas, decía que habían toallas, y no es así, los baños no tienen facilidades que mencionan en la descripción. Por otro lado, debería ser mas detallado en la descripción que el hostal está lejos del centro de Santa Catalina, es necesario caminar 30 minutos para llegar hasta allá. Además, no es claro que, al pagar con tarjeta de crédito se te descontará además el 10% mas para el pago, a mi me escribieron un correo electrónico, pero yo no tenía internet durante mi viaje, por lo cual no supe de ésto hasta llegar a las facilidadades del hostal. El restaurante no ofrece toda la variedad que uno esperaría.

• Susanne (10/5): Top plek! - Prachtig verblijf! Je komt op deze plek helemaal tot rust. Het zit aan het strand. Dit is echt het mooiste strand van Santa Catalina. Er zitten een aantal restaurantjes in de buurt. We hadden een prachtig huisje! Er worden surflessen aangeboden en alles kan bij het hotel geregeld worden. Wij waren positief verrast en hebben een super verblijf gehad! Het zit wat verder van het centrum, maar wanneer je dit ‘‘s ochtends vroeg loopt is dit geen probleem. Er zitten genoeg restaurantjes in de buurt.
• Lisa (7/5): Schöne Bungalows am Strand - Schöne kleine Bungalows direkt am Strand. Es gibt keine Küche und keine Möglichkeit Wasser aufzufüllen. Insbesondere weil das Hostel außerhalb des Ortes ist sehr unpraktisch. Das Badezimmer und der Dorm waren immer sehr sandig.

• Chen (4/5): לא התלהבנו בכלל - מיקום יפה מול הים. רחוק מהכל אבל. מלונות אחרים סיפקו אופניים ופה לא. ניקיון לא משהו. היה לנו קבוע קקי של חיות על המיטה ברמה שכבר לא היה נעים לבקש ניקיון. גם כשכן ביקשנו קיבלנו פרצופים לא נעימים ואמירות לא יפות. לא היה הסבר על מתקני המלון בצק אין

• Joyce (8/5): - Super Lage direkt am Strand. Dorf ist fußläufig erreichbar, haben jedoch trotzdem das Auto genutzt. Waren in der Junior Suite und ein Kühlschrank wäre super gewesen, war aber leider nicht dabei.
• Perry (9/5): Peaceful place, good for relaxing or surfing. Would go again - Step right onto the most popular surf beach in Santa Catalina with beginners and some intermediate waves. Its quite a bit of a walk from the center with a 25 min walk. Renting some bikes would be be very useful.

El restaurante abre muy tarde para el desayuno, les falta personal cuando el hotel está lleno, atención 3.2 La cajita de seguridad es buena idea, lo que no es el Código que tienen, cualquier persona lo puede abrir. no es funcional si el huésped no puede escoger su Código.
• Luisa (7/5): - Sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand, viele Restaurants fussläufig innerhalb von ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Hilfsbereites Personal sowie ein gemütliches Bett! Es gab relativ oft Stromausfälle, wodurch dann das WLAN sowie die Klimaanlage nicht mehr funktionierte. Kann man jedoch über hinwegsehen:)

• Moulin (6/5): - Le ménage est fait tous les jours, les cabanes sont équipées d’une clim, les profs de surfs sont très très gentils. Le personnel n’est vraiment pas accueillant, pousse à la consommation, désagréable et mal élevé, il faut être patient. Quand j’ai voulu réserver un taxi pour rentrer à Panama City (j’étais pressée car j’avais un avion le jour-même) on m’a proposé les bus car ce « n’est pas si compliqué », ça prend 10h de trajet. Si vous venez là-bas, il faut être d’accord avec le fait de marcher pour aller acheter à manger, et faire quoi que ce soit. La plage est agréable mais l’hôtel loin de tout.

Mit dem Auto lässt sich das Gelände nur bei Ebbe erreichen, aber für uns war das kein Problem, wir haben auf der anderen Seite geparkt. Ich habe vom Duschkopf einen Stromschlag bekommen
• Silvia (7/5): Excelente ubicación frente al mar, con acceso particular - El hotel está ubicado en una de las mejores playas de Santa Catalina; todas las habitaciones tienen vista al mar, lo que lo hace ideal para descansar y disfrutar del entorno. Está alejado del centro, lo cual suma tranquilidad, aunque implica depender de transporte para moverse. Para llegar al hotel es necesario cruzar un río. En nuestro caso el nivel del agua era bajo (según nos comentaron, generalmente no sube mucho). Es fundamental contactarse con el alojamiento antes del check-in, ya que si se llega en auto se necesita una clave para abrir las barreras y poder cruzar. Si se arriba sin vehículo, hay que atravesar el río caminando; aunque no es profundo, es muy probable que te mojes las zapatillas.

• Lukas (7/5): The hotel mainly thrives on its location; beyond that, it has little else to offer. - Location Right next to the beach is what makes this place special. Nice and friendly stuff. Italian Restaurant (for dinner) was awesome! Dirty (bugs and spiderwebs in the room). Water was leaking in the bathroom. Bathroom facilities not maintained well. No refill for drinking water provided. In the night fruits from the trees hit the roof and it sounded like someone shooting a gun next to you. No beach towels!

• Samantha (10/5): Perfect spot to stay and surf - If you want to surf and relax then this is the best place in Santa Catalina. The cabins are literally on the beach- walk out the front door and you’re surfing. It’s a bit of a walk to town but well worth it and you can drive if you don’t want to walk. The cabana were beautiful with a view of the ocean. Not sure about the prior negative reviews- we found the noise to be non existent (altho it was during the week), the staff were lovely, and the river crossing is literally just ankle deep water and did not impede our travel in any way. Would absolutely stay here again Loved it all! While they have boards you can rent most are foam tops/ for beginners. But you can just go across the river to rancho estero and rent a board from there

• Andrea (5/5): - La ubicación y Manuel, el señor de los cocos que era encantador. La ubicación estaba bien pero el personal de recepción y algunos del restaurante eran bastante desagradables, parecía que les molestaba que les preguntases o pidieses algo. Por otro lado, el sitio está bastante “dejado” y le faltan servicios básicos que otros hoteles de la zona de precio similar ofrecen como el bambuda donde el personal es muchísimo más amable. Por ejemplo, no tienen agua gratuita para poder coger algo esencial teniendo en cuenta que el hotel está lejos de todo y que la recepción y el bar / restaurante cierran muy pronto por lo que si no la has comprado previamente a cierta hora de la noche no tienes forma de poder acceder a ella. Cuando llegamos el primer día nos dijeron que para gestionar el servicio de shuttle debíamos avisar un día antes, y cuando lo hicimos así nos dijeron que avisando con esa antelación no podían asegurarnos plaza… Como punto adicional, sería recomendable que tuviesen alquiler de bicis o algo ya que está bastante alejado de todo.

Right on the beachfront everyone that would walk by and ask me how I got it how much it was etc. perfect location. I would highly recommend rental bikes

• Anna (9/5): Hütte am Meer 😍 - Wir waren in einer der Hütten und waren sehr begeistert. Es war richtig cozy und sauber. Leider kamen wir sehr spät an und konnten in der Stadt kein Essen mehr ergattern. Aber beim Küchenpersonal Milch und Granola. Generell war das Personal sehr hilfreich und nett. Würde sofort wieder buchen. Einfach traumhaft!

Hay que pasar un rio cuando la marea es alta pero es parte de la aventura. No creo que es un problema como muchos dicen. Nada que decir, todo me pareció increíble.

• Alexander (8/5): - Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Zum Hotel gelangt man nur über einen Fluss, welcher Kniehoch werden kann bei Flut. Wenn Ebbe ist kann man auch mit dem Auto über den Fluss fahren. Seitens des Hotels wird das gut kommuniziert und mann kann auch bei Flut zu Fuß über den Fluss. Personal/Reception zum Teil etwas launisch, aber im großen und ganzen hat alles gepasst und wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.
• Emma (9/5): Top verblijf!!! - De plek, de prachtige hutjes, de relaxte sfeer en fijn personeel. Zou het zeker aanraden. Is geen gemis dat je buiten de hoofdstraat is. Restaurantjes zat in de omgeving en veel meer zit er toch niet in de hoofdstraat Eigenlijk viel niks tegen. Enige wat fijn was geweest, is dat we schone handdoeken hadden gekregen. We hebben het ook niet gevraagd.

• Marina (7/5): Ambiente schön , Lage für Surfer top , für den Rest nicht geeignet - Das Ambiente und die Lage direkt am Strand Nicht geeignet für Backpacker. Es liegt ein gutes Stück vom Zentrum (ca 20-25min) entfernt rund herum gibt es kaum was. Für die Dorms gibt es keine Küche oder Kühlschrank oder mal eine Möglichkeit sich einen Kaffee zu kochen . Alles läuft früh morgens dort aber das Hotel eigene Restaurant macht erst um 8 Uhr auf. Wer einen Ausflug hat , tauchen geht etc …. Muss erstmal ins Zentrum Früh laufen und was suchen was offen hat.

• Giselle (8/5): - La ubicación ya que es la mejor playa de Santa Catalina. Y el personal genial, en concreto, Rufino, es un amor de chico. 1. El río. Cuando la marea está alta es un problema. Te avisan, pero no te das cuenta de lo incómodo que es hasta que no estás ahí 2. El restaurante abre a las 8 y la mayoría de los tours salen a esa hora. Estaría bien que abriera a las 7 para desayunar ahí mismo. Todos nos vamos al hotel Oceans a desayunar que abre a esa hora
• JILL (4/5): young surfers head to "the camp", pleasure seekers looking for comfort, waves, sunset not here - location and beach was beautiful, one of the biggest beaches I've ever been on. Waves were amazing. staff were a little condescending, beds were hard, hot water was spotty, NO WIFI in the room, no other furniture in the room to sit on in fact there was NO comfortable place to sit down anywhere!! restaurant, bar, beach all had hard as rock chairs to sit on, no beach lounge chairs except these wood/ rock things that were impossible to move. We ended up leaving this place early, it just wasn't the place for us. If you're a young surfer looking for great waves this would be great! but not for a middle aged person who needs comfortable seating to watch the sunset from.
• Kathryn (10/5): An excellent place to stay - Right on the beach! Friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms. The bar and restaurant are very expensive(but still very good). It's worth the walk across the river to eat for cheaper.

• Flurin (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Oasis Surf Camp. We especially loved the beachfront location and the beautiful bungalows. The rooms were very clean, and the waves were perfect for surfing! We were able to rent surfboards directly at the hotel, which made everything very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Osman, who supported us in a very kind and competent way. If we return to Santa Catalina, we would be very happy to stay at Oasis Surf Camp again! Nothing
