Guest Reviews
- Summer (10/5): -
- Jesse (5/5): - Parking was great. Bad location. Hard to get out on road.
- Higginbotham (9/5): - It was a smoking room by accident but it was so clean and didn't smell like it. It was very nice. I will go back there if I ever go back that way. We were pulling a trailer with a motorcycle and lots of our things for camping. They had a place to put it that had a camera to watch our things all the time. They were the nicest people ever. No coffee pot in room. Coffee in office was very old and smelled burnet but didn't ask her to make more so ok. The bed was very hard and squeaked every time we moved. Thats just me though, my partner never knows because he can sleep anywhere. There was alot of road noise but nothing they could do about that
- Charles (10/5): -
- Johnson (10/5): Staff was excellent getting us in and out! Facilities and rooms were very clean! Parking was right outside our doors for - This property was very clean! N/A
- April (8/5): -
- Angie (7/5): -
- S. Rebekah (1/5): -
- Jim (3/5): I wouldn’t recommend staying there - The location The bathroom floor was busted and cracked they had it caulked together.the bathtub was dirty
- Richard (8/5): -
- Jason (10/5): -
- Teresa (10/5): Very good stay! - The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had a smoking room per our request, and it smelled clean on our arrival. Nothing
- Ted (5/5): - Not available on Monday
- Don (8/5): -
- Vickie (8/5): Family owned clean motel at fair price with light breakfast pastries in need of a few updates. - rocking chairs in front of room. water got hot quickly. it was clean. no hair dryer in room. bed was harder than we liked. no coffee maker in room. needed some updating.
- Samuel (5/5): Kinda shitty - Cheap Owners claimed we broke all the rules, we brought 3 friends by that didn’t even spend the night. We agreed that there would be no partying but didn’t clarify there were to be no visitors at all. We were 2 kids alone with no car how do they expect us to go get food or do literally anything. Boo.
- Ronald K (10/5): Nice little quaint motel -
- Soto (1/5): -
- Todd (10/5): -
- Stacey (1/5): Don’t do it - Location and shower The room was very outdated and the carpet was extremely old and dirty we will never stay here again not to mention the price was way out of range for this room. I honestly can’t believe how gross it was and uncomfortable
- Charlie (9/5): - It was just a very enjoyable place. If I get the chance to go back to that area it will be first place I check for availability. Staff very nice enjoyed speaking with several different staff members. I liked amount of space in the room. Plenty of space to sit with a table and chairs on one side and a desk and chair on the other side. Only thing I would add is safety bars in bathtub. It would be helpful sometimes especially for older people like myself. That is true for any hotel or motel that doesn't have them already available. I'm
- Downey (7/5): -
- Helena (4/5): - Staff was very nice and helpful and parking was good. Rooms are extremely outdated. First walking in it was a stale and musty smell like it’s been closed up for awhile. Bathroom was clean. Bed was terrible to sleep in. Had to buy extra pillows.
- Jeff (9/5): Price was just right -
- Bert (8/5): -

- Tina (10/5): Clean Budget Friendly Motel - Staff is very friendly. Location was good. Cozy little motel. It was very clean. We enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again.
- Archie (10/5): - Great for somebody on a motorcycle.
- Rita (10/5): - Staff was very friendly. They provided all motorcycle riders a small towel to wipe down their bikes each morning.
- Robbie (6/5): - we stayed in smoking room -that hasnt been renovated so not be a fair reveiw -overall not bad place to stay
- Amanda (1/5): Horrible stay! - Checking out and leaving the next day. I accidentally booked smoking room instead of nonsmoking through Booking.com. I honestly don’t know how I managed to do it but anyway, I asked the owner if I could get a nonsmoking room. They told me yes, at $40 more dollars. I was fine until I walked into my in-laws room #2 which was identical to ours #14 and both are nonsmoking King bed. I asked the owners why my in-laws room was $99 and mine was $140? The wife was very rude and told me she should’ve never allowed us to switch rooms as requested (and paid for I might add) just for questioning the price difference. Horrible customer service and very rude!! Room is old and definitely not worth $140 for one night. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
- Larry (10/5): - Charming little property. Very well maintained. Friendly & helpful staff. Definitely recommended !
- Tina (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): - Very clean and the beds were very comfortable! Bathtub seemed to be unlevel, almost lumpy,
- Paul (10/5): -
- Kemper (8/5): - Was a nice room for the money The shower curtain was in adequate and water would get all over the floor
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The family who owns this establishment are so kind and considerate. The establishment was clen and very family friendly.
- Matt (7/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Styers (5/5): Passable - It was clean Very uncomfortable bed, pool closed,
- Teresa (5/5): - Firm beds
Clean Pool not working
- David (10/5): - We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s been great and accommodating!
- Michael (10/5): Awesome stay - The lady that checked us in was super nice. Very good customer service skills
- Thomas (7/5): Near wheels trough time museum. - Location and comfort. Refrigerator and microwave. Ice machine was broken. ( They did have a new one but needed to install it.)
- Derek (1/5): Bad - Nothing the owner is rude and has a bad attitude. Everything
- Wes (10/5): - The owners are very nice
The rooms are clean and nice
There is coffee and danishes in the morning
The rocking chairs outside each room are relaxing
The bed linnens are clean
My only issue are the mattresses are super stiff and the pillows are very thin
- cherrie (10/5): - This property is very clean. The owners are super friendly and courteous. We would definitely stay here again.
- charlie (10/5): - It was very enjoyable week. Each staff member I met was friendly and ready to help in any way. Checked everyday to see if I needed anything. Even though breakfast was not listed every morning till 10 hot coffee healthy snack food choices and pastry choices were available. The room was large very comfortable.
- Meredith (8/5): - It was fine for the price. Convenient to the mountains.
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): - See ya next time
- Elizabeth (1/5): Bad -
- Kimberely (8/5): - It was an easy last minute booking to make. A business meeting in the mountains. The motel was easy to find. Located right on the road. Parking area is ample enough with assigned spaces. There is noise from the road, can not be helped. Rocking chairs located outside room for your enjoyment . It’s close to all the venues and activities in the area. Room with king bed is spacious. Offered a table with 2 stuffed chairs, a deck with a chair, dresser which holds a frig, microwave and coffee maker. The king bed was comfortable enough. Would recommend extra pillows. Bathroom is clean and again spacious. Because of its location I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again.
- Vincent (10/5): - It was a pleasant overnight stay.
- Chrystal (10/5): - Very clean rooms and very nice customer service
- Tony (3/5): Wouldn’t come here again - Convenient The pillows were too flat and mattress was uncomfortable
- Alfred (6/5): Pleasant - Location I got eaten by bedbugs!!!!!!
- Nick (2/5): - This is a below average motel on a strip of beat up highway. The rooms are too close to the road, they have way too many Christmas lights that look like trash.
I regret not spending the extra $10 and stay somewhere nicer
- Sherry (10/5): Quiet and relaxing - It was a decent price for what we needed. Friendly staff, clean room, and hot shower. A little dated but kept up and the price was ok.
- Workman (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - We liked everything, it was affordable and clean and that's really all that matters to us. You don't spend much time in your room anyway, we were out hiking and doing all the stuff you do on a quick getaway. The room was a lil outdated but as long as it was CLEAN and BUGFREE and it absolutely was, I am perfectly content. Nothing, really. Everything was absolutely fine.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Unable to complete stay due to property not allowing animals, after being advised they did
- Chad (8/5): Very good -
- Eric (10/5): - Very nice hoteliers and clean property. They did require a $100 room deposit in addition.
- Neal (10/5): Exceptional - Felt like good old days before everything got all fancy. TV didn't have a cable box or anything and of course we didn't bring a Roku or anything with us.
- Robert (10/5): Awesome stay! - Awesome stay, great service, they were more than willing to accommodate a strange request I had. Comfortable and clean room. The water pressure was great also.
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frank (8/5): Very nice - Very nice people
- Francis (10/5): - A little loud being close to the road and the large window wasn’t very sound proof Staff was very friendly and helpful
- Sally (4/5): - Good location. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Mattress and pillows felt old and flat. Rust in sink, old closet rods that the hangers couldn't slide across, small TV with no swivel. Bathroom door didn't close completely. Had to ask for a hair dryer. Seemed very tired.
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Whitley (7/5): Good -
- Melissa (9/5): Very cute & nice stay - Super friendly staff. I'm assuming family owned, very nice people. The room was clean and the inn was nice. Quiet just outside the main part of town. The offer a key drop if you leave during the night which is nice. They offer a small snack like breakfast which was a nice surprise. Need just 1 more set of pillows. We got our own at dollar store because it wasn't a huge deal. It's just a suggestion.
- Claudia (8/5): Nice small town motel. - Clean, quiet, well appointed. Check in, the person barely spoke English. It took a long time.
- River (10/5): very relaxing and pleasant place to stay!! perfect stay!! - nothing owners are very nice, check in was a breeze. very clean and cozy rooms!!
- Tiffanee (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): Nice - Clean Nothing
- River (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable as always.. owners and housekeeping are super nice and always available if you need anything!!! Everything was great!!
- Kathy (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was horrible, sleep.terible. The bed
- River (10/5): Exceptional - The owners and housekeeping are absolutely wonderful. Very clean and comfortable room. Quite and peaceful location. Close to everything and 5 mins over Soco mountain from Cherokee and the casino. We highly recommend staying at Laurel Park Inn for travelers looking for a perfect place to stay. We actually do not have any complaints everything was great!!
- Kay (5/5): Will not stay here again at all. - It is right on the highway and very noisy all night long. We had no breakfast. Wi-Fi did not work for my computer but did for my husband's.They said,it was my computer but when I got home it worked perfectly. The floor was very very dirty. My new pink bedroom slippers were black from walking on the floor. The frig.was froze up when we got there and kept freezing up my drinks.
- Emilie (10/5): Would stay here again, I would probably bring some sort of egg crate for added comfort to the beds. - Easy to find, great check-in that allowed me to come late. Very friendly owners. All the seams in the tub and the bathroom need to be recaulked. I find that very typical in most two star hotels. It was very clean and the bed is very firm. We booked this place for the low price, not the fanciness of it.
The heat works great to allow us to dry out our snow gear and we really appreciated this day
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jones (6/5): Pleasant - It was a very nice place. Needs more pillows on the bed.. Maybe another blanket.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Room was super clean, and the staff was welcoming and very accommodating. It is an old roadside motel that the owners have done a great job of renovating. It is not fancy by any means, so if your looking for fancy and upscale, then this probably won’t be your jam. However, If your looking for a simple, super affordable, straight forward place to sleep, then this is your place. We very much enjoyed our stay, and will be returning there again. Water temperature was very up and down. It was hard to control. That is the only issue we had.
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant -
- Todd (10/5): - Excellent roadside motel, clean and friendly.
- Julia (10/5): - Great place for our weekend trip to Maggie Valley. Excellent location. Easy check in with kind staff.
- Brooks (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, very Good stay
- Kelli (3/5): Poor - Location and price close to our family The bathtub was painted and was chipping,so I couldn't give my five month old
A bath she had to shower with us.the sheets didn't look like they were changed looked like pub hairs on the sheets as well as long dark hair so we slept on top of the blankets under our own covers. Also nothing said we would have to put 100 dollar deposit down if the sheets got stained or any damage that we probably won't get back
- Edward (10/5): - World class customer service for SANTA
SANTA will be back again
Thanks
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marvin (6/5): Pleasant -
