• Di Meglio (8/5): Esperienza ottima. Ritorneremmo molto volentieri - Accoglienza perfetta, staff egregio: gentile e disponibile. Ci hanno offerto tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno Bagno molto piccolino e scomodo. Anche le scale possono essere problematiche ma siamo consapevoli che sono tipiche dei palazzi di Amsterdam

• Søren (6/5): Lives up to it's two stars - The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location can't be beat, in the middle of the city and close to so many things. It is a fair price for being Amsterdam. The bed was not good, the pillows were like bricks and the room is too small for anything but the bed. The size of the room was fairly clear from the presentation on Booking.

The hotel is in second floor and there is a long staircase (its very narrow and difficult to carry our luggages to the second floor ). No one will come to help to carry our luggage. The second thing was the cleanliness. It was really suffocating. The room was very small and congested for 3 peoples. The bathroom was even smaller . We could barely stand in the bathroom in one position. Cant turn or move. The toilet was near to the door and we cant sit properly because our legs will get stuck within the doorr. There was no lock for the bathrroom also.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Great location - The location was excellent...so close to Ann Frank House, Westermarkt and Dam Square. Easy walk from Central Station The budget room was a bit small but it had everything I needed, even a mini fridge. Definitely for one person, for a short stay when you don't need to dig into your luggage. The stairs!!! Typical Dutch...very steep but I knew that when I booked the hotel. But someone rushed down to take my bag and I only had to navigate them a few times.
• Melanie (8/5): - Very compact room in a great location. Bed made and bathroom cleaned daily (but no communication about this prior). Good heating and fresh air available. The fridge was useful. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again. Shower drain was blocked, so the bathroom flooded with every shower. Went to checkout before the set time on my final day and the reception wasn't staffed, so had to delay plans for the day. Made me nervous that if I left my luggage there, I might not be able to access it in time for my train departure, but I thankfully didn't have any problems.

• Nendy maria (1/5): Lo peor de todos mis viajes - Cuando abres la puerta ves unas escaleras de infarto súper empinadas y no hay accensor. Lo único bueno fue la localización muy en el centro pero lo veo caro por lo que es. Las habitaciones súper pequeñas y estrechas. Nos fuimos al segundo día a otro hotel que si lo recomiendo al 100% Leonardo hotel Excelente. La verdad que no me gustó nada. Pero nada de nada por eso decidí irme a otro hotel y no terminar mi estancia. Viajamos cada semana y nunca me había cambiado de hotel

• Ruben (3/5): engaño - ubicación me hicieron dejar un depósito de 20 euros en recepción que me devolverían al acabar la estancia y cuando llegó ese momento (10am siendo el check out time a las 10.30am como tarde) no había nadie. nadie abría recepción ni cogía el teléfono... esperamos más de 15 minutos. había mucha gente en la misma situación y al final nos tuvimos que ir porque íbamos al aeropuerto. me sentí engañado.

• Fernanda (5/5): Muy buena ubicación, habitación extremadamente pequeña. Sólo para descansar en la noche. - La ubicación, el personal ha sido amable también. La limpieza en la habitación era buena, la cama confortable. La habitación es extremadamente pequeña. Realmente entramos sólo porque ambas personas llevábamos carry on, con maleta grande no hubiera sido posible. Es para una sola noche de paso, pero no es un espacio para quedarse, por ejemplo, un rato en el día en caso de mal tiempo. Es extremadamente pequeño. También hay que considerar, que, como muchos otros hoteles en Amsterdam, tiene escaleras muy empinadas. La recepción es en un primer piso pero puede que tengas la habitación en el segundo o tercer piso.

• NLenise (8/5): Genial a pesar del vecino - La verdad es que el dueño no pudo ser más simpático y además con su gatito paseando por allí. Te explica los lugares básicos a los que ir en Ámsterdam, te señala el wifi, y te da la llave de la habitación, por la cual hay que dejar 20€ que cuando la devuelves, te los devuelven. En cuestiones de amabiliadad les doy un 10, eso seguro! La habitación aunque pequeña estaba limpia, la cama era cómoda aunque un poco blanda. El lavabo también pequeño pero cubría las necesidades básicas, había jabón y toallas limpias. Pagamos unos 98€ por una habitación en plenas navidades y estando a 20' de la estación de tren, me pareció un precio más que justo. Las paredes parecen de papel, escogimos una habitación silenciosa (daba al patio y no a la calle), pero cuál fue mi sorpresa que a las 2AM los de la habitación de al lado volvían con ganas de juerga. Estuvieron hablando casi 1h y podía escuchar perfectamente su conversación. Di golpecitos en la pared para que se dieran cuenta que se escuchaba y ellos me devolvieron los golpes como si fuera un juego, acto seguido siguieron hablando media hora más sin siquiera hacer el intento de bajar la voz. En fin. Es cuestión de suerte quién te toque al lado, aún y así recomendaría el hotel, a pesar de tener la habitación chiquita (mejor si no vas con maleta grande), y que como en otros comentarios se puede leer, la ducha está pegada al WC y acaba todo lleno de agua... Sigo sin arrepentirme de haber ido allí. Las escaleras son muy empinadas (pero como en todos los hoteles de ese estilo en Ámsterdam, lo mismo que las paredes finas). No hay persiana, solo cortina oscura que hace lo que puede. Así que si puedes dormir con luz, genial.

• Nicola (8/5): The best budget single room I could have hoped for. - The location can't be beat. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite. The bed, pillows, sheets and comforter were comfy, better than expected. The shower water was hot and the water pressure was good. The cat is cute. Overall the things this hotel did well exceeded expectations. I also didn't notice this about the hotel when I booked but visitors are forbidden which I imagine helps keep the place safe, and quiet. All of the things that weren't so great are pretty clearly stated in the listing and the hotel is unable to change these things. So it's not even a negative against the hotel, just an understanding about what you're getting into. The stairs are steep, the room is tight etc. Maybe the one thing not mentioned in the listing is that the walls are thin and sound really travels. I could hear someone's vibrating phone alarm going off over and over, no ringing sound but the unmistakable buzzing of the phone alarm that would time out after a few minutes then restart again as a missed alarm. Not even something that a person could reasonably complain about because it would be very difficult to track the source of the sound.

La literie était confortable et le secteur tranquille. Le pommeau de douche était cassé. L'aération de la chambre, pas folle. Et la chambre était très petite pour le prix.

The room and the bathroom were small, but I had hot water, clean towels, and the heating worked well, so I never felt cold. There was shampoo, soap, and toilet paper, and I never had any issues with cleanliness — personally, I didn't feel uncomfortable, and the room was clean. The location was amazing: very central and within walking distance to almost everywhere, which made a huge difference for me. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. They made me feel very welcome. There was also a cat, which I absolutely loved. As a solo traveler, the hotel was more than sufficient for my needs. The fridge worked very well, and although I didn’t use the TV, I appreciated that I could easily get a hair dryer from reception as mentioned in the reviews. They gave it to me without any problem. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

The rooms were very small along with the bed. I found the walls were very thin as you could hear everything next door. The room could have been cleaned better. They also don't serve breakfast.

Lo staff è stato gentile e il gatto sempre puntuale nell’accoglierci. La stanza non era particolarmente grande ed anche il bagno era piccolino, però c’era tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno (per il phon basta chiedere alla reception), e i letti erano comodi. Inoltre, ogni giorno passavano a pulire le stanze e cambiare gli asciugamani. Le scale di cui si parla in tante recensioni non ci sono sembrate così impraticabili, sicuramente però non consigliate per persone con poca mobilità.

Stairs are crazy steep and narrow but staff are more than willing to help with bags. Rooms are very small but comfortable enough for just putting your head down at night. Worked for us definitely not a 5 star but price worked and location was great
