• Simon (9/5): A real pleasure to stay at Loess for the second time. - It was a privilege to be allocated room A1 again which is the only room of 13 to boast two balconies - one looking out directly onto the river. Loess resort is in an idyllic location within 100 metres of a bamboo bridge which connects to the town, and therefore very close to excellent restaurants. Also, how nice to be able to chat with the owner Khun Phichet. Breakfast was OK but its quality could be better.

• Martina (10/5): Fantastico - Le ragazze dello staff tutte sempre sorridenti e gentili, la posizione ottima perché si trova a 3 min dal centro attraversando un piccolo ponte di bambù stupendo . Immerso nella natura , uccelli colorati e farfalle. Siamo stati benissimo e Pai è stupenda. Nulla

• Meir (10/5): Picturesque, peaceful and heart-touching place. - Beautiful place, perfectly located on the quiet side of the river, but just a super short walk to walking street and town. The couple who owns the place are very sweet and attentive, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony and hammock overlooking the green garden. We really enjoyed our stay and kept extending it!
• Gal (4/5): - Staff, location and price Rock hard beds and pillows, no hot water in showers and horrible water flow (changed room and still the same) no reception availability and always needed to call them. We came to a dirty bed and even though they tried to fix things, we moved to a worse room. Bottom line, we left the money (because they didn’t want to help with partial refund) and checked out eagerly after 1 night and moved to another resort.

• Inge (9/5): - Das Resor liegt direkt am Fluss, beim Frühstück hat man dadurch eine tolle Aussicht auch auf die Bambusbrücke, die direkt zur Walking Street führt. Leider ist es nachts durch allabendliche Partys und laute Musik zum Schlafen etwas zu laut, wofür aber die Unterkunft natürlich nichts kann.

Breakfast area over looking the river was amazing. Rooms were great. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. But maybe some more fruit options would be good.
• Jack (9/5): An incredible resort in the perfect location. - The resort was beautiful and very well located to walking street. The superior bungalow we stayed in was lovely and well equipped. The bathroom let the room down slightly. It was a little dated and in need of a revamp.

• Elisabeth (9/5): - Sehr schön im Garten gelegenes, ruhiges Bungalow, geschmackvoller Holzboden, gutes einfaches Frühstück mit Blick auf den Fluss. Über die Bamboobridge geht's es ca 5 Min auf den Nacht-Markt und Ort, die Bushaltestelle ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Sehr gut zum Wohlfühlen. Schiebetür und Lampen im Bad müssten langsam erneuert bzw repariert werden, sonst alles gut im Schuss

• Stuart (8/5): Beautiful quiet room in a lovely setting - Really lovely en suite room with balcony complete with hammock. On other side of the river to the town (two bamboo bridges connect) so you can get some peace and quiet when needed. The host, Collette and her staff were most welcome and friendly. Breakfast was a little bland but did the job. Also catered to my specific omelette request.
• TheNewDen (10/5): Highly recommended, well run resort - This was the best hotel/resort we have stayed in for sometime. Super comfortable beds (9.9 for the beds). Clean, well appointed rooms with decent showers, working A/C and good quality lighting. There is reasonable provision for parking and the grounds are well kept and beautifully located right next to the River Pai. Breakfast was basic but tasty and the proprietor spoke enough English to communicate with customers. The location is excellent, just far enough away from the main street to ensure a peaceful sleep but close to it, connected by a bamboo foot bridge. The rooms were quite small. There was a power cut on our first day but this was caused by the electic company not the resort. There was a snake outside our room on the last day but it slithered away when it sensed our presence. The price was fairly high.

• philip (9/5): Great location, great owners/ hosts - Great location on otherside of river so out of the traffic, but a 2 minute walk across a bamboo bridge right into the night market walking street with 100's options for food and night time entertainment. Booked the superior bungalow that had a nice balcony overlooking the Pai River flowing by. Owners were a great couple, very friendly and helpful,made you feel like you were visiting friends. Nice breakfast on the common area balcony.

• Katrin (8/5): - Sehr schöne Bungalows in einem schön angelegten Garten. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist top, ruhig und mit ein paar Schritten ist man im Trubel. Beim Frühstück schaut man auf den Fluss, dass fand ich toll. Die Hängematte auf den Balkon hat mir auch sehr gefallen.

I loved hanging out in the hammock for a lazy afternoon. The location was fantastic - on the quiet side of the river but just a 2 minute walk over the bamboo bridge to tons of restaurants and shops. Could hear people talking from the lane and the neighbouring property but there was very little noise after 11pm

• Holly (10/5): A sweet riverside haven ❤️ - It’s nestled on the river between town and countryside; quiet and private, yet accessible to all amenities. Hosts and staff are lovely people. Breakfast surrounded by lush greenery in the misty mornings are a wonderful way to start the day.

• Sarah (8/5): Pai Loess Resort - Amazing location just over the bridge to the walking market. Lovely staff. Good free breakfast . Beautiful rustic gardens. It was super cold and no heating.but to be fair no where else had any heating. Everything else was really great.

• Jana Katharina (10/5): Perfect, clean & quite stay in Pai next to the River - Very sweet, helpful & caretaking owner, who welcomed us with a big smile. The hut was super modern and perfectly clean. We got fresh water bottles very day during our stay and there was a gratis breakfast (we sadly couldn’t make use of it every day). One afternoon the owner had made delicious green noodle curry and invited us to eat. If we come back to Pai one day we would definitely stay there again!

• Ben (10/5): - Brilliant location, quiet and loved chilling on the hammock on an evening. Great if you're doing the Mae Hong Son loop as you can park but walk over the bamboo bridge to the main bit of Pai within a few mins. Lovely owner, really friendly and great breakfast.

The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful from arrival all the way until departure. The location was good, right on the river and just a short walk into the middle of the town Nothing really. For the price we paid, it was a very good deal.

• RODNEY (9/5): - Loved everything about this place. The host and staff are friendly and helpful. The location is exceptional. Just a 10 minute walk over the bridge and you're in town, yet far enough away that it feels rural. Scooter hire 100 metres away. We would definitely stay here again.

• Lundgren (9/5): - Rent och fräscht, mycket trevlig personal, läget var fantastiskt, inga tuppar som väcker 😅 nära walking Street, tyst, lungt och skönt när vi skulle sova. Det självklara valet för oss när ni ska till Pai Inga klädhängare på rummet. Lampknappen till badrummet i garderoben, 😅 så det tog ett tag innan vi hittade den. Småsaker i det stora hela.

• Lior (6/5): It’s a good place for young people who’re traveling alone or looking for a place only for sleeping. - The location is great, overall clean (although they don’t clean your room during your stay). Rooms are very small, shower is old and there’s a problem with the hot water. During our stay there was construction work right next to us that woke us up very early in the morning.

• Dierk Minkner (9/5): - Sehr gut, ruhig am Fluss, nur 3 Minuten über eine Hängebrücke ins pralle Leben. Frühstück einfach, aber ok. Frisches Obst und Omelett täglich. Am 2. Abend wurden wir vom Rettungsdienst evakuiert wegen einer Sturzflut. Mussten außerhalb auf einem Hügel schlafen, bekamen aber die bereits bezahlte Nacht auf eine Verlängerung komplett angerechnet, inkl. Zimmer Upgrade. Alles sehr gut und problemlos. Für das Hochwasser konnte niemand, am nächsten Morgen was fast alles wieder weg, inkl. schneller Beseitigung des Schlammes im Garten. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr sehr zuvorkommend!

• Carsten (9/5): Nice stay in short walk to the night market with view to the Pai river. - The connection at the wall power sockets have been loose, hence the plugs/charger could not hold and fell out. A small thing, but in our digital world, guests needs to charge phones and computer. Also, at the place where the water kettle was placed, there was no power outlet, The water pipes coming out of the wall in the bathroom are dangerously long, some new bathroom taps would make it so much better. Finally, the AC needed an urgent cleaning.
