This was not explained on booking.com website and I would not have booked this accommodation because of that, I’m not not happy with this venue because of this.., I would not have booked it if I would have known it was closed and no evening meal available and the attitude of staff was well it’s on our website! It’s not mentioned on booking.com and because of that I’m negative about my experience. I only booked this because I believed I would get an open accommodation with food in the evening. Otherwise not worth the cost which is not cheap!!

Tom (7/5): Ok stay in clean comfortable room. Check out the price and location of parking before you travel. - Clean, comfortable b&b style room right in the centre of some lanes. Staff were friendly and room was big for the £. was a bit disgruntled to have to pay a parking charge when I arrived. The listing is ambiguous and I don't know why they don't make it clearer when you book. It was £7 for the first night and £3.50 a night after. Also, the car park is difficult to find first time, could use better pre-stay info basically. Also, when I checked in, the heating was off in my room, given the fact it is single glazed it's a good job I was straight out for dinner as it would have been pretty chilly.

Elizabeth Lucy (8/5): Decent pub hotel on a quirky little street in the centre of Ramsgate - My room was clean, nicely decorated and well thought-out with everything you could need (there were also refills of coffee, tea, shampoo etc. downstairs if you ran out of anything.) There's also a gorgeous communal sitting room. The included breakfast was a good selection of cereals, fruit, toast with butter and jam, croissant and a couple of meats. You could also pre-order a cooked breakfast at extra charge if you wanted. All the staff I met were really friendly and the waitress at breakfast remembered I needed oat milk without me having to ask, which was nice. It's on a quiet street with a few unusual shops, a couple of other bars and a corner shop directly opposite if you need any snacks. Just a couple of minutes walk to the seafront and a little further to the town centre. The pub itself is only open Fri-Sun, so wasn't actually open during my stay, which was a shame as it would have been nice to have had a meal or a drink there, but on the plus side it was very quiet. It also meant there were no staff there in the evening, but emergency contact numbers were given, so I'm sure if any problem had arisen it would have been easily sorted.

Kyle (9/5): For an overnight stay we had a wonderful experience, would definitely go back - The building itself was very ornate, warm and inviting. All the staff we met were very kind and welcoming. The room was very light and clean, we were in room 2. The bed was nice and comfortable, excellent temperature from the shower - nice and hot! There wasn't anything we didn't like, but the only thing I had trouble with was understanding how to get in and out of the hotel when we checked in - it would have be helpful to mention in the comms that you enter the pin code on a touchscreen that you have to activate by placing your hand over it first.

Chanelle (7/5): A little gem in the centre of Ramsgate. Simple but quirky and comfortable. Good value for money. - The room, whilst basically furnished was clean and comfortable. The standard of the shower room was much higher than expected. For the price I paid, this quirky little stayover was a real bargain. It was a little cold at night but not really surprising as it was January when I stayed. There is no parking but I managed to unload outside and then park just one street away.

The room was furnished nicely with antiques - imo there’s no excuse to do this these days but so few places do. Just very nicely done. The Waterloo room offers such a nice place to relax and I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for a fabulous overnight stay. I would have like some extra cushions - but really, as it was just me, this wasn’t an issue as I had two pillows ! It would be nice to see refillable toiletries. But these are tiny things.

The staff were all lovely and really helpful. We were put in the dog friendly room with a door to the garden, which was great for our husky. The bed was very comfy and we liked the ease of keyless entry. We actually moved the bed 90 degrees so we could see the TV so layout in the room could be better! Extra toiletries, towels and water were brought to the room during our stay (we were there for five nights) but the used cups etc weren't taken away which I thought was odd!
Susan (8/5): Lovely building in great location - We always choose to stay at the Falstaff when visiting Ramsgate as it is in a great location and is a lovely old building which had been very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated We stayed in room 3 for the first time and the landing light which is triggered by movement was very sensitive and came on continuously when I turned or moved in bed. There were gaps in the door and the light flooded through which kept me awake. Next time we will choose another room.

I (9/5): Very satisfactory stay for the price - Helpful and friendly staff, lovely bathroom and shower, clean and comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Was locked out initially but staff let me in within a minute or two. No further issues.
Chee hui (5/5): - Location. Room was cool . Bedroom could hear next door. Breakfast was very poor , hardly any selection.
Eva (10/5): Ramsgate Staycation - Friendly staff and clean room. The room was a bit cold even with the radiator on. Bring fleecy pajamas if you stay in the winter. Other than that it was exceptional!

Julie (10/5): Cosy and friendly - A cosy hotel in a quiet street but near all of Ramsgate's hot spots. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is continental, delicious croissants!
Susan (9/5): Only stayed one night but was very relaxing and a perfect spot not far from the harbour - The room was lovely, clean and spacious, the bathroom too. We both had the continental breakfast which was totally adequate, for an extra cost you could have had a cooked one.

Melinda (10/5): Lovely cosy pub hotel - The room was really spacious and comfortable. I was concerned being a pub it might be noisy but it wasn’t. The place had a lovely ambiance and the staff friendly. The extra cost of the parking is reasonable and off a side road close to hotel. The included breakfast is very basic so we paid extra for a cooked vegetarian breakfast.

Jacqueline (8/5): Warm and comfortable in a very good location. - Quirky and interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stairs are a bit steep and difficult when carrying things up and down. But we should have enquired about that at the time of booking.

William (9/5): Relaxed and friendly hotel with top facilities - would recommend in a heart beat. - Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, comfy bed and a short walk from the marina and beach. W Parking is £7 (not free) but that is only the price of a pint.

Diann (7/5): Great location and good local inn. - Staff were very helpful, when it came to booking taxi's and travel arrangements. Staff very friendly. Quirky stuff on walls in bar area. Lovely community pub in excellent location. Servicing of the rooms was poor, stayed 3 nights Fri - Sun, staff never made the beds. No servicing carried out on the Sunday am. We were never told about no rooms serviced on a Sunday? I queried this with Hotel Manager, but she did not understand and thought I wanted the bed linen changed. No soya milk was available for breakfast even though I had requested it prior to my stay, however, they did have oat milk which was fine. Also, no tissues provided in rooms? See above:- Poor room servicing. No soya milk. No tissues. Bathroom radiator very high up on wall in Room 8 - garden room. Plus, on arrival requested payment for 3 people's stay £1,030.00, when I had already paid on booking to Booking.com Did not believe me - so had to prove payment made by logging into Booking.com. Very poor, customer service.
Andytee (8/5): Comfy small hotel in the town centre - Convenient location on the edge of the town centre with an easy walk to pubs and restaurants. Private off street parking. Quiet room. Cooked breakfast not offered, although I did hear another guest successfully request one.

Jennifer Avril (9/5): A very peaceful and relaxing stay. - I liked the entry system once I knew how to operate it as it did away with keys or entry cards. It was also very quiet. I would have preferred a more comfortable chair in my room .

Janice (7/5): We really enjoyed our stay. We will return. - Loved our room. However thete was no housekeeping! The room was not cleaned. This is a hotel not a youth hostel and it was annoying. The breakfast this morning was poor and very limited choice. However we love this place. Staff are wonderful. The room should have been cleaned and a better choice for breakfast.realky

Mahshid (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help whenever I had a question. The location is great, very convenient and close to everything I needed. Overall, it’s a cozy place in a perfect spot, and I would definitely recommend it
