- jg-gobears (10/5): Would recommend! - We booked the deluxe penthouse two bedroom for our family of four. I somehow missed that the unit had AC, so that was a very pleasant surprise upon arrival. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a washer and dryer that allowed us to get all of the laundry done mid-vacation and pack less on the trip. The location is quiet, and the room rates were affordable, especially compared to some of the other options I evaluated. The front desk staff were super helpful answering my many questions, prepping the kitchen with breakfast groceries, booking our rides from/to the airport, and helping us get a taxi to/from our snorkeling adventure.
- Freedom642194 (10/5): Happy Campers - My Fiancé and I decided to take a mini vacay to decompress. From the moment we arrive the customer service top tier. We were greeted by the owner and offered complimentary drinks before being escorted to our unit. There was a tiny issue with one of the AC but the issue was quickly resolved at with zero inconvenience. It’s literally ask and you shall receive! I will definitely stay again. Thank you Tres Cocos❤️

The accommodations are light, airy and spacious. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The owners and staff go the extra mile. Every request we had was met with a smile. They helped us rent a golf cart and get to and from the ferry terminal/ small airport! So kind and friendly! And, the Dog House restaurant is fun and cheerful with an amazing breakfast menu. We would return in a heart beat!

- courtchick54 (10/5): Friendsgiving in San Pedro - Wonderful week in San Pedro over Thanksgiving with my husband and teen daughter, another couple and their mother/MIL. Both units were spacious and clean. We requested housekeeping midweek and the room was well-serviced. They provide a 5 gallon water station and refilled it twice during our stay. Dog House bar was a perfect spot for any time of day. The bartenders are AMAZING and so attentive and friendly. Great food too! Office staff were welcoming and kind. Really happy with our first adventure in Belize.
- VIPinspector (8/5): Great location resort. - Tres Cocos is a vibrant beautiful piece of paradise. There are lots of positive attributes that this resort has to offer. This resort is located in a superb area of Ambergris Caye. The location is unmatched. The resort offers, condotel style rooms, a fantastic on site bar, walking distance to many pretty cool bars and restaurants. The pool is well taken care of the grounds were impeccable and the rooms I would say are average. This was our first ever trip to Belize. Going in unknowing what to expect is tough but upon arrival to the resort (we rented a golf cart for the entire stay), we were greeted by friendly staff and it was as though people came from every direction to take us to our room. Large family friendly, couple friendly, safe rooms welcomed us. Beds are great, bathrooms are slightly updated and kitchens were adequate. Nothing fancy but definitely not rundown. We loved the onsite bar, it's open early for coffee or a fruit plate, it's open late for drinks or a snack but never annoying. We were located within eye shot of the "bar" and it never bothered us or woke us up. Very respectful. We had a washer and dryer in our unit which worked great, when requests were made through the app such as new water bottle, or extra towels, they were delivered timely. The pool at this resort is well maintained and was such a relaxing area. I lounged a number of afternoons at the pool. There are some amazing restaurants and bars so close, literally a pier away. Patronize them they are great. All in all this resort has a strong 4 from us. It would have been a 5 however, we did have a few situations with issues but the staff took care of it very timely and very professionally. No resort is perfect.

- DetRedd (10/5): Five Stars for Tres Coco - Tres Coco Resort is so cool. It’s in a good area, walkable if you like to walk or need to go rent a golf cart. Delicious restaurant, The Dog with a very cool staff is located on the grounds, with super sweet cat, Che. We had a beachfront 2bed/2bath across from the pool. They have games for the rainy times and help with rides or whatever you need, including spa servic s that come to the property. Tiaz and Harvey at the front office are great.

It's a very nice location, close enough to town for a quick golf cart ride. But just far enough away to be out of all the hustle and bustle. Everyone was friendly and any questions we had were immediately answered. I would definitely recommend this location if you were looking for a beautiful resort for your stay in san pedro.

- F2892GUsusans (10/5): Excellent - From the very beginning of our arrival at the resort, the office staff was wonderful very helpful accommodating there were guys to bring our suitcases to the room. The room was clean, exactly as pictured everything you need for the week that we stayed. The only downfall was the sargassum the smell is absolutely horrible. You do get somewhat used to it after a couple days. However, it is pretty bad and you cannot swim in the water there the only place you can swim is at secret beach, which by the way was absolutely wonderful and of course the seaweed issue is not the fault of the resort. It’s all over the whole island. Great trip overall pillows were wonderful. The pool was clean never really crowded very close to town with a golf cart we also had a kitty come daily and hang out on our patio we fed her!!!

If i knew i would have gotten my room until 4pm i wouldnt have made my friend booked my room. Ridiculous on check in time ,i have travel internationally and locally amd never heard of checking om that time. On top d receptionist said" i dont know why u mad?" I am mad bc i went there to relax not to wait so long for my room on top their is no lobby to guest can sit comfortable and wait. So i paid for a room that i couldnt be in for 12hrs atleast. My next thing is the following morning i went to ask for coffee, as my friend told me they should have in d room as other hotels,condos etc does. I went to the office to ask and pointed to coffee's i saw so many . The guy said " thats for staff if you want we have for sale $30" I went to my friend condo and i told her. She message them on whatsapp and them said "yes coffee for guest available at office and to come and get it" We went and told d same man " you just told me its for workers?!" He said " my boss just said to give you" My friend said "but whenever i come we always get coffee!" This place is racist. Dont like locals Never to be back
- Timothy (10/5): Clothing - Little or no place to put clothes. Not even a bench to place your suitcase to make it more convenient to live out of your suitcase. Otherwise, the condo was comfortable and the porch made for very comfortable seating to experience the ocean view and warm ocean breeze. The convenience of the Dog House for a drink and good food was very nice.

- Holly (8/5): - This is a very nice property, and we were really happy with the condo - clean, spacious, beautiful view of the ocean, nice front porch/balcony. The service was also great - they booked a golf cart for us, as well as a snorkelling trip, and we could exchange towels and beach towels whenever we needed to. And this is a nicely located property - easy drive to town, but not too close, and an easy drive to the Truck Stop, which has great pizzas, among other food options. But the sargassum in the water directly in front of the property (and all properties on this side of the island) meant we couldn’t go in the sea. This is not the property’s fault. It’s probably the fault of agricultural and mining run-off from the Amazon, global warming, etc. I think this is seasonal (spring and summer), so maybe this wouldn’t be a problem in winter. I don’t know. Our solution was to go on a few snorkelling trips and to spend our time on the Secret Beach side of the island, where the water is crystal clear turquoise and absolutely beautiful. And the road there is not as bad as people say - a little bumpy, but not bad.

Location is close to downtown by golf cart and not a very long trip to Secret Beach. We will definitely stay again when we return. It was a great trip!

The owner asks staff was very helpful with booking taxis, golf cart, excursions and even stock the fridge with food and drinks upon request. The location is perfect. Just a short ride from town, yet in a quiet area. It's located right next door to Elite Dive and Snorkeling as well as several restaurants. The Dog House bar and restaurant is located in site and we enjoyed the food and bartenders there. We will definitely come back!!

Tres Cocos provides a quiet, relaxed beach location just outside of San Pedro. Town is a few minutes down the road, and the staff are very helpful for any and every need.
- Aileen (10/5): - A Wonderful Stay at Tres Cocos, San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize Our stay at Tres Cocos was absolutely delightful! The property boasts a stunning view from both the en-suite room and the living room, and everything was impeccably clean with comfortable beds. During our stay, the air conditioning in our en-suite room stopped working. The manager, James, promptly tried to fix it, and although it couldn’t be repaired that night, he kindly gave us a refund for one night. We didn’t complain or show disappointment because we understand that things happen, but his proactive approach and generosity truly showcased the exceptional customer service at Tres Cocos. The location is perfect—situated between the north and south, offering a quieter atmosphere compared to the busy town area. It’s also close to some amazing restaurants, like The Dog House and Mesa Bistro, which became one of our favorite spots to eat. The staff and locals in the area were incredibly friendly, and James went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We would absolutely stay at Tres Cocos again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belize!

We ate at the restaurant on property several times, The Dog House. The food was really really good, the drinks were good, the staff were amazing and the prices were good. We dove and snorkeled at the dive shop next door. We also at the restaurant next door, the Bistro. The food was very good there too.
- sbrekke (10/5): Great stay at Tres Cocos - Just returned from 10 day Belize vacation and wonderful stay at Tres Cocos. The resort as well as the condo were nice and clean. The staff was awesome....quick to respond to messages prior to arriving, and during the stay. They helped in arranging airport transportation, a snorkeling excursion and the golf cart (which is the best way to get around this small island). The 2B/2B condo is large with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. Great views of sea and reef line. It was really nice to have the Dog House on site and Mesa Bistro a 2 min walk on the beach. Both restaurants offered had good food at a reasonable price. There is also a grocery store within walking distance of Tres Cocos. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

The unit was very nice, clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, and beautiful ocean views from the balcony. It was very convenient when booking to have the option of some food items or groceries delivered prior to arrival. The resort offers beach front loungers, a swimming pool, and an on site bar/restaurant. The owners and all staff were amazing, so friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate any request and to lend a hand with any inquiries. Being our first visit to Ambergris Caye the staff were happy to help with recommendations for restaurants and activities, and even helped with booking golf cart rentals or taxi cabs. I would definitely visit again!

They took care of EVERYTHING for us - our golf cart rental was delivered by the time we got there, our room was stocked with breakfast foods and drinks and water and replenished immediately when we asked for it, our hopper flight to the island was booked without any hassle and rearranged in a split second when needed! We had a fantastic view of the Caribbean sitting on our balcony in their condo - You won’t be sorry if you book your stay with them at Tres Coco the Cloistures in San Pedro!

The Dog House restaurant /bar staff was amazing also. Great nachos and drinks. The condo we stayed in was beautiful, clean and oceanfront. My husband paid a fee so housekeeping came and decorated for my birthday. Everything was great at Tres Cocos Resort. We will definitely stay again.
- 964bananav (10/5): An amazing stay on the water! - Our rooms were spacious with an amazing view of the water, two TVs, a full fridge and stove, a balcony with chairs and a hammock, and a king sized bed. I couldn't ask for more, but with the waterfall shower head and comfy living room we got more anyways! James and Lexi are extremely knowledgeable about the area and have several local partners, and we're able to help us tour Mayan sites on the mainland, snorkel in the reef with sharks and rays, and have a delicious beach barbecue. You can't miss the Belizean Chocolate Company's chocolate making class. The island is covered in some of the nicest people I've ever met, but they also have on site security just in case someone needs help. My spouse and I have celiac and a few other food sensitivities between us, and James and Lexi were able to recommend many great restaurants we were able to eat at with confidence! In the right season you can pick fresh plantains off the trees and there is an onsite resteraunt, two more visible from your room, and a dozen after that in walking distance up and down the beach. They recommend you rent a golf cart, and I understand why considering how wet it is, but I found it easy to walk anywhere we needed to go.

The hospitality and attention to detail from the staff were above and beyond. The location was within walking distance of downtown and next to a great breakfast spot. The hotel staff arranged for a golf cart rental and snorkeling day trip. I will be back.

The welcome drink upon arrival was a pleasant surprise which was well appreciated after a long hot day. The beach view was spectacular and I am looking forward to a third stay!

The front desk was very welcoming, the property (inside and out) was immaculate, and the location was wonderful. You definitely need a golf cart to get around the island (we rented ours independently and it was much cheaper than through the resort), but there are plenty of restaurants walking distance or within a five minute golf cart ride. It’s not a place to party, but if you want a good drink the Doghouse is right on site. The pool was absolutely stunning and very well maintained- I could have spent the whole day on property enjoying the amenities and view.

It is in a very convenient location for excursions via water taxi/boat as well as trips to Secret Beach, with an added bonus that the location is also quiet and relaxed. Our rooms were beautiful and clean and the view of the water is amazing. Easy communication with the owners for check in and check out. There is a restaurant on site, over the water restaurant just down the beach, as well as the Farmhouse roadside stand nearby for breakfast and their market for groceries in easy walking distance. Would recommend Tres Cocos Resort to anyone!

- Dritschler (9/5): An absolutely delightful stay! - The location was perfect; so easy to get around on the golf cart (that was on site when we arrived.) The paid option of having beer and water stocked in the refrigerator prior to our arrival was a bonus. Tres Cocos had excellent communication with me months prior to the trip when I wanted to confirm the amenities that were available in the unit. The Dog House restaurant on the property was delicious and convenient. We like the option of asking for housekeeping (full or partial) during our stay. We did 1 full cleaning in the middle of our week there. The quiet hours were honored by the other guests. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The water pressure in the MBR (we were in a 2 BR apartment) could be improved a bit.
- Kayla (10/5): Great room with comfortable firm bed, full kitchenette, futon in living room area, balcony with pool view, 2 TVs and bat - The property is right on the beach, can be easily navigated. The hotel office, the parking lot, the room, the beach, the pool, and The Dog House were all a 1 minute walk or less. It’s all very convenient and beautiful. The Dog House was a wonderful restaurant- we ate there at least 6 times and all the food was delicious. It’s casual with friendly and extremely personable bar staff who learned our names. The property is just a few minutes from other great restaurants and it’s a very quick ride to the bridge into town. The beach in front of the hotel was raked every morning, so the seaweed was minimal and very manageable in February. We even found a few shells! The office staff were impressively responsive on WhatsApp. They helped me have an effortless, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation during a tremendously difficult time in my life. It turned out to be my personal favorite vacation ever. Tres Cocos staff took care of my Tropic Air round trip flights, my golf cart rental for the week, my from and back to the airport - not because of my recent loss; this is just what they do. I was so grateful and relieved that they took all of this off my plate. The whole thing went off without a hitch; a very good system! We loved the iguanas who hang out around the pool! I could go on and on about our trip to San Pedro. I’m sure we’ll be back and I’m sure we’ll choose Tres Cocos again. Not applicable.

- Kyle (10/5): - 5/5 stars. There was not one thing that remotely upset me with this resort. Firstly: we were delayed at the airport due to flights. The office normally closes at 6 and we arrived between 7:30-8. They carried our bags up to our suite (ocean view, steps from the water with ZERO obstructions) gave us a welcome drink and then a quick tour of the property as well as a full tour of our room. Secondly: the suite was perfect, clean, large came stocked with a water cooler and plenty of towels, massive tv in the living room as well as one in the bedroom. Thirdly: the property was immaculate, the restaurant on site had amazing food, plenty of parking for golf carts, plenty of space around the pool, and perfectly landscaped. All in all, it’s hard to compete when you move onwards to your next destination once you leave here, they’ve set the bar high. Would recommend and will definitely return.
