- ANA (10/5): Authentic stay. - An amazing, unique apartment, in a remote village in the mountains. All apartments are made from stone with authentic furniture, which gives a medieval feel. It was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. Every day I had fresh ingredients for breakfast to cook myself, which made me feel even more like a villager. The Lofou village itself is very cute, with cobbled streets and cute houses. Not many people live there, but they have a local wine bar and a couple of taverns where they serve authentic Cypriot food, all made by the families.If you're passing through the mountains, it's worth spending time in this boutique guesthouse. I stayed there for two nights, I think one would be enough, as I was travelling through the island; as it was a remote village, there wasn't much to see around for two days.

Vasica je v tem času sicer brez življenja, a ponuja mir. Ker sva prispela na dan, ko ne dela niti pekarna in niti restavracija, je bil malo problem z večerjo. A za to seveda ni kriv lastnik nastanitve.

- ElAlexander (9/5): Your partner will 200% appreciate! It is not something you would experience normally! - Overall, everything was just great. I hadn’t noticed in advance that the reception closes after 19:00, but the staff handled our late check-in perfectly, guiding us to the location and helping with everything we needed. The place is wonderfully calm at night, with only a few cats wandering around and church bells at 07:00 — which honestly didn’t bother us at all :D I was initially a bit skeptical about the size of the bubble bath (it might be helpful to include dimensions), but it turned out to be absolutely sufficient for us. For reference, we are 193 cm and 180 cm tall, and the photos don’t quite do its size justice. All in all, it was a great stay, and I would definitely keep an eye on prices and come back again. P.S. Highly recommend upgrading to the best room your budget allows — it’s well worth it! Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, but there are a few smaller details that could significantly improve the experience: - A clearer disclaimer regarding late check-in would be helpful. That said, the staff was very kind and accommodating in waiting for us, which we truly appreciated. - The self-prepared breakfast might benefit from being communicated more explicitly in advance. For us, this was actually a plus, as we’re a fit and actively competing couple, but others might have different expectations. - Firewood (logs) needs to be either purchased on-site or brought along. While I came prepared, it might be worth considering including this in the price for suites, especially since they are not inexpensive, even if reasonably priced for the overall experience. - Candle holders were provided, but candles themselves were missing. This was something we didn’t think to bring, so we missed out on that part of the ambiance. The lovely staff member who showed us the room did ask about logs but seemed to forget about the candles, which are quite essential for the full experience. - The bubble bath area could really benefit from some ambient lighting. It feels like an easy upgrade that would add a lot of atmosphere and WOW effect on the pictures. - Some of the floor lights, which are very nice in design and likely intended to highlight the stone walls, were not functioning. - The fireplace glass could use cleaning, as it was quite dull on the inside, which reduced the visual effect significantly.

- 827eae5dd5ca728c1da7120bea67adc5 (6/5): Has a lot of potential for improvement - I liked the location and the fact that it was a huge house just for 4 of us. We were greeted by the host and explained everything in detail which was great but to be honest I was expecting more from this property which was just disappointing. If I came back I would come more prepared. It says breakfast is included but it’s a basket in the fridge and for us for example the tomatoes and cucumbers were frozen and therefore not edible. So we had to go to the local supermarket and buy cheese/ eggs/ bread and vegetables to cook. If I knew this I would have come prepared or went somewhere where we didn’t need to cook. Also what I would recommend is offer a complimentary bag of wood for the first evening and after that available to purchase ( this is what most properties offered us so far thats why I am recommending it because I found it a nice touch instead of buying from the beginning all we needed. Not that it was expensive but it’s a nice touch to offer your guests). Also there is a very bad smell coming from the toilet which I don’t know if it is fixable?

Персонал очень гостеприимный! Завтрак супер! Немного огорчило то, что когда снимаешь виллу с джакузи, ты не думаешь о том, что за использование джакузи надо еще заплатить дополнительно. Мне кажется так быть не должно. Это огорчило

Also didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for the wood - I wanted a room with fireplace- this should have been provided in the price. The staff didn’t deal well with my concern about the noise - they were quite rude. I felt mislead by the entire package

- Charalampous (7/5): Στιγμή ξεκούρασης και ηρεμίας. - Άψογα προϊόντα για πρωινό. Εξαίσια η καφετέρια. Το κλιματιστικό πολύ χρήσιμο. Δεν χρειάστηκαν ξύλα για τζάκι αν και είχε έξω αρκετό κρύο. Η καθαριότητα άψογη. Η Τοποθεσία δεν ήταν και πολύ βολική όταν έχεις βρέφος. Χρειάστηκε να κατέβουμε από ένα χωματόδρομο έτσι ώστε να μεταφέρουμε τα μωρά με ασφάλεια από τις βροχές κοντά στο κατάλυμα . Με σαλούν αυτοκίνητο δεν ήταν εύκολο να εισέλθουμε στον χωματόδρομο. Η άλλη επιλογή ήταν να ανεβοκατέβουμε από αρκετά σκαλιά ,με αμάξι του βρέφους και προσωπικά αντικείμενα που ούτε αυτό θα ήταν εύκολο.

I didn’t like the fact that I had to prepare my own breakfast……but my fault for not reading the details on booking. If I was to stay more than one night I would have chosen different room! Too many cats and I have a phobia….. Two big dogs at the room next to ours!
- Panteli (5/5): Ωραίο μεν αλλά.... - Καλή εξυπηρέτηση, ωραίο το περιβάλλον, καθαρό δωμάτιο. Κλείσαμε το Παλατάκι το οποίο ηταν €213 τη νύχτα, και θεωρώ απαράδεκτο να ζητούν extra €13 για μια σακούλα ξύλα τουλάχιστον για το συγκεκριμένο σπίτακι που είναι και το ποιο ακριβό,το χειρότερο όλης της διαμονής είναι ότι λόγω του τζακουζι που βρίσκεται εντός του σαλονιού η υγρασία που βγάζει δημιουργεί μια αποπνικτική ατμόσφαιρα και μια έντονη μυρωδιά μούχλας η οποία δυσκολεύει και τον ύπνο επειδή μεταφέρεται και στο χώρο του υπνοδωματίου.

- Andre (10/5): Beautiful hotel spread around a mountain top village, this hotel was full of charm. - Spread out around a small mountain village, the hotel is full of character and ambiance. We stayed in the large room with the jacuzzi by the fireplace. It was a beautiful setup preserving historical elements but modernized for comfort. There are several dining options nearby. Everything was perfect. Please note that for breakfast you will be provided raw ingredients which you assemble yourself (there is a small stovetop). We had no complaints about this at all.

- Ashot (6/5): Photo is much better than reality. - Room was clean, and check-in/check-out were fast. The property is located in 50 metres from the tavern where, most probably, you will have dinner. The Internet was fast, as promised. 1. The photos are edited. In fact, the atmosphere of the property is not so marvelous and lovely. It is an old traditional house, rather gloomy than romantic and cosy. 2. The bed, some equipment in the bathroom and the living area is not like they are now. 3. The bed was not very comfortable, and it was just 140 sm in width 4. The fireplace was just bad. I paid 13 EUR for the woods and then the smoke went right inside the room. So, I just put out the fire and forgot about my 13 EUR. 5. The complimentary wine was of low quality - could be used for cooking, but certainly not for drinking. 6. Sterna apartment has so narrow windows that it doesn't matter to which side they look at. For lighting I used electricity only. 7. The breakfast is a set of components: tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, and luntsa (a kind of smoked pork fillet). The guest must prepare breakfast themselves. The quality of bread is just poor. 8. There is a spiral staircase in the apartment, connecting the living area and the bedroom area. Be cautious: if you are not physically strong or a bit overweight, it will not be pleasant to stay there. 9. The chairs and wardrobe are really old and badly need to be repaired or, better, replaced. 10. The bathroom is very tight and dim.
