• Ivy (10/5): A gem in Loreto - We were very impressed with Bugambilias Suites and hope to stay here again! It is a courtyard building tucked away behind an unassuming street frontage. It seems to be a smaller hotel than I had guessed from the photos, which makes it feel even more private and peaceful. The room we stayed in was like a studio apartment. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a good-sized kitchen, powerful A/C and lots of storage space for personal items and food. There is a supply of drinking water down the hall, which we really appreciate. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful host who took us on a tour of our unit and the property. She showed us the rooftop patio, which is spacious, very inviting and a comfortable place for late night breezes and gazing at the moon. The building is secure with a vehicle gate that is closed at night and a keyed pedestrian door. The courtyard (even though it is also the parking lot) is pretty, with nice pavers and well-maintained flowering plants. Not a lot of places to hang out at ground level, but the rooftop patio more than makes up for this. The neighborhood is walkable and convenient to the pedestrian mall and the Malecon, but it is out of the very busy tourist area. There are good restaurants, services like clinic, grocery, and bakery, and shopping within a couple blocks of the hotel. We didn't have to drive at all while we were here. Everything was great.

• Tanis (10/5): Perfect, spotless, great location and the kindest people. - Haydee was wondeful. She was so helpful and friendly. She even found me a guitar to borrow so I had no excuse for not practicing while away! We met her son Saul - a charming young veterinarian doing great work helping the local animals and their owners. Her staff are very pleasant. The location is perfect - a very short walk to the main plaza but still quiet. Spotless accommodation. The most comfortable beds. Our 2BR, 2 bathroom suite was ideal for us. Having a washing machine and clothes line on our little deck was convenient. We used the upstairs patio every morning. The view of the mountains is amazing. Secure and free parking. Loved everything.

I was traveling with a friend and the second bedroom was definitely intended for kids, so the two bedrooms were not equivalent in terms of facilities.

• Angela (10/5): We’ll never stay anywhere else in Loreto! - Las Bugambilias is our favorite hotel in Loreto. It is meticulously maintained by Haydee & her staff down to the last thoughtful detail (including sewing & first aid kits in the bathroom, snacks on the kitchen counter when you arrive) We especially love to relax on the rooftop terrace offering lovely views of the Gigante mountains. It’s only a couple of blocks from the Plaza so restaurants & shops are within a short walking distance. Parking is secure within a locked gate at night. Nothing!

Full kitchen with a bunch of equipment, big supermarket nearby. Comfortable beds. Very quiet to sleep. We’d be back any time! Nothing - great all around

The kitchen has the needed utensils for cooking. The bed is very comfortable. The terrace on the top floor is a bonus relaxing. You won't regret a stay here.

Kitchen with everything you need, including coffee machine. And laundry service available. There was a bowl with fruits, oatmeal sachets, and water bottles as a courtesy. A couple of blocks away, 3-5 minutes walking from the historical centre, El Pescador supermarket, and many restaurants. In a quiet side street. The manager Aydee was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Thank you for a memorable stay. Highly recommend! Nothing.

• Bróna (10/5): Excellent staff and value for money stay - The staff here are so nice and welcoming. My room was really spacious and the bed was really comfy. The main gate is locked at night which helps you feel very safe and secure. The staff accommodated a later check out for me so that I could go for a run and shower after on my last day - so sound of them! The facilities are perfect if you wanted to cook some nights instead of going out to eat. The smart television in the room is a nice touch to be able to watch a show after a long day out and about doing activities. It is really good value for money also Air conditioning is a small bit noisy but really not a problem at all.

WIFI in room was excellent. Parking was inside hotel premises with a gate that closes at night. Supply of drinking water outside room. Very nice hotel staff No breakfast or a pool - No big deal. Noise from outside hotel (barking dogs, blaring music from cars, etc.), which is typical of Baja and is not the hotel's fault. Gate closes at night; so, you have to open it and close it to get out or in. The bed is too hard for my liking - Most hotels are like this
• Tsjmex (10/5): Very happy to return after 3 years. Haydee's warm welcome made us feel like we were coming home. :-) - I stayed here the first time in early 2021. The hotel looks exactly the same on our return - clean and well-maintained with the most complete kitchenware among all the suites of the same category I have stayed in. We brought a friend along this time, and he was super impressed with the facilities. He thought the hotel was brand-new. Everything was perfect. If they did any better, they would always be full and there will be no room for us. ;-) We wish Haydee and the team at Bugambilia's Suites continued success. Thank you for another lovely stay. :-)

The staff, especially Lupita at reception, was very kind and attentive. The hotel had everything we needed and even provided some extra treats! We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and short walking to the shops, restaurants and market. This is our third time here and will definitely go back!

Everything was very clean with an organized kitchen This is really set up for travelers who are staying for a few days and wanting to cook. This is probably best for folks coming by car - there is great and very safe inner courtyard parking- in which case it is perfect. But it is not that close to downtown or to the water so for those who are doing cruises or water activities you may want to stay closer to the beach.

It grew on us quickly . - While it is not in the middle of the plaza , where everything happens and there is no breakfast or pool, we were happy with the three nights because it was very quiet. The host is very nice and went out of her way to accommodate us. Very safe. In a neighborhood where the sidewalks aren’t repaired well. Have to be careful at night. No tv in the living room or second bedroom.

We were welcomed there, shown our suite and had everything explained to us. It was wonderful to have a kitchen, and really enjoyed watching the sunrise on the rooftop patio. It was quiet, and easy and safe to walk to the central part of Loreto. We would definitely return and recommend this to others.

If I needed recommendations on what restaurant to go for seafood or other kinds they had the answer. The suites are in excellent condition everything looks like new . Also the are very spacious suites . They have eve you neeed, our suite even had a clothing washer in the wash room . Free WiFi and sky cable for your room .

As someone with celiac disease that needs gluten free options, this was a dream location. The only downside is lots of street noise but the a/c drowned it out a lot. As a solo traveller, the neighborhood felt safe Noise in the neighborhood was high

Our studio apartment was well equipped, clean, comfortable. It had reading lights on both sides of the bed. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, that made our stay that much nicer. Staff were very helpful and friendly as well, and we appreciated the convenient location for exploring downtown Loreto and area on foot. Would highly recommend!

• David (10/5): Modern in town facilities that were exceptionally well maintained. - Friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen stocked adequately for cooking. Second floor room required climbing steps. Parking gate closes too early at 8 pm and then requires going through a side door to gain entry and open the gate.
• Leahey (10/5): Large very clean well appointed studio room with great kitchen, amenities, and helpful friendly staf - Large very clean room up one flight of stairs. Great kitchen complete with many good dishes etc, stove, fridge, microwave, fresh coffee, sugar, bottles of water every day, access to huge water tank for extra water. Lots of closet space and storage. Every day beautiful shampoo, soap, lotion, fresh towels etc provided. Staff very helpful, pleasant, good English speaking, brought suitcases upstairs, loaned me shopping bag for the market. Beautiful flowers in courtyard. Seems to have onsite parking but we didn’t need this. Would definitely return. Nothing! This place was great. Highly recommend.
• Jean (10/5): We were very happy with this complex. - This place is new and well decorated. Furniture was of upgrade quality and the mattresses very comfortable. Water pressure great. There was a washer machine at the unit for our use and a 5 gallon water cooler as well. Top floor was open to view the mountains and sunset with table, chairs and lounge chairs. Secured gating and cameras and free parking on premises . I highly recommend this place and would return myself. I kudos would be transport to and from airport.
• Catherine (10/5): This is where we’ll stay if we return. - Roomy, clean, well stocked kitchen. Bikes were great. Excellent staff. Couldn’t have been nicer. Very helpful.
