So, when someone uses the kitchen we hear them all the time and it's a bit annoying when you want to sleep and in the morning as well, we can hear someone cooking, setting up plates, etc. It was a bit warm in our room, AC wasn't working well.

• Eva (8/5): Nice guesthouse in quiet neighbourhood, good swimming pool - Very good room and nice swimming pool in a quiet street of the city I would have hoped for more touristic information: we asked about the Kraton, but the lady didn't know it was closed for renovations, so we went for nothing. We asked about the borobodur temple, but she didn't tell us we needed to make a prior reservation, so again, we couldnt go up. I know it is a B&B, and not a tourist info, but some more help on this side would have been useful.

• E&t (9/5): Almost perfect. - Like: - Friendly staff - Comfortable bed - Good location - Quiet place - Shops and local bars around - Small pool - Plenty of attractions around the city Can be improved: - Basic breakfast based on a coffee/tea, white toast, omelette, fresh fruit and other sweets like jams or Nutella. No vegetables or sausage served - this small improvement might make this place perfect. - Cold lights from the corridor might distract your sleep. Please (owners) put some cover on the window above the room door and problem should be sorted.
• Charlene (10/5): Exceptional - This is a wee haven just a short cab ride from the busy and exciting Maliboro St Also possible to walk if you enjoy the exercise. Great wee pool in the courtyard, scrupulously clean, as was the whole place. Friendly staff. Secure gate that was manned. Good food options close by. The room was clean and comfy with great aircon, comfy bed and quality bedding. We will stay again! We didn't get offered any local breakfast option, just omelet and bread. But breakfast is included and well appreciated.
• Syarifah (2/5): Pls others to consider this hotel.HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED - Ac is not functioning,we check in very late and booked 2 rooms with next to each others and text the property 4 months earlier,however when we came,1 of the room is vacant and they asked me extra money if we insist to continue to sit next each other. We booked for 5night.the receptionist lady small body was very rude n not helpful. Breakfast not very delicious..5 days staying there,they just served us no option meal and only provided meal with rice and veggies,,they think our family is goats???😡😡😡

The room was quite small and there was some light outside that we couldn't switch off at night. No closed shower which means water everywhere near the toilet but I think that is to be expected at basic homestays.

• Maria (9/5): Great stay for a great local experience and friendly service. - The staff were friendly and the pool was a must have relief in the heat. Breakfast was very filling with it being homemade every morning and always had vegetables which for some reason we found difficult to find outside the homestay. The room was overall very clean and although the tv didn't work it didn't really matter because there was a tv in the lounge room downstairs that we could use. The location of the homestay is very good. A grab only costs 20 thousand rupiah almost anywhere in the city from the homestay. A suggestion is that you order grab food to the homestay if you want to try alot of foods but don't want to go out in the heat or to multiple places. The best dinners for us were ordered online as you can easily find the most popular restaurants without having to ask anyone. The staff were patient with the amount of different orders which I was very grateful for. Although you can easily go to a well air-conditioned hotel with a fancy restaurant nothing can beat the friendly staff and homely atmosphere of this homestay. The airconditioning was not quite enough in the room, it was on but barely felt like it did anything and the tv didn't work because the reception was bad in the room.

• Florin (10/5): Excelent - An excellent accommodation with an indoor pool, clean rooms equipped with air conditioning and TV and with a very kind staff, ready to help you with any wish. Breakfast was the same every day, but very well cooked and sufficient. The area is quiet and there are possibilities to eat and relax around. The guesthouse is a little further from the center, but if you use a car or a scooter, it's OK. An unpleasant smell in the bathroom.

The place IS clean 🫧 and I find my room smells really good the first time I entered it. I would really consider coming back 🙏🙏🙏 There's a wifi problem once, but the staff would help me solve it immediately 👌👌

• Gigih (10/5): High quality homestay, super clean, recommended! - Everything and every corner was suuuuper squeaky clean! The bed was comfortable, and they have a wardrobe to put the suitcase in. Bedside charger electrical plugs in both sides of the bed. Towels were provided, one big and one small, all smelling wonderful and folded nicely in the form of a swan. They even gave hotel slippers and small toiletries. Hot water worked very good with great pressure. Car garage is spacious, it can house 4 cars. But the highlight of my stay was Mbok Is. She is so adorable, kind, meticulous, and always at-the-ready. A true gem. I tried to speak to her in Indonesian but she kept on replying in the most polite high-Javanese, which forced me to reply in the same language, practicing my rusty High-Javanese, otherwise i would be impolite. I stayed 2 nights, the first night I had to leave at 5.30am for my brother’s graduation ceremony. At 4.30am she already woke up and make sure I am well-fed. She made me buttered toast, coffee, fried egg, and melons. And when I finished she always ask if i want some more. The security man is adorable too. At the slightest sound I made going in and out of the house, he suddenly appeared out of nowhere to help opening the gate, asking you if you sleep well, congratulate me for my brother’s graduation. I would definitely come back! With what I paid, it’s worth every penny!

Slight chemical smell in the room, the bathroom looked quite worn down (but functioned well), not that close to the center (but totally ok if you take a quick car or scooter ride).
