- Olufemi (2/5): - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Where to start? First of all the owner is a crook. My grandmother and I booked 6 nights here and could not make it 3. The facilities were dirty, rundown, and the area was dangerous. The owner offered us a different room but tried to scam us for another $175! Then another manager allowed us to change rooms because of construction happening right next to us (which was not mentioned), and again the owner demanded to get more money from us. When my grandmother complained the owner simply said, “if you don’t like it then you can leave and I’ll refund you for the nights you didn’t stay”. That was 2 weeks ago and we still have not received our refund. I have called the owner many times and each time he assures me my money is on the way, after he acts like he doesn’t remember what I’m talking about. Please do not ruin your trip by staying here. Don’t be fooled by the low price. You will suffer in the long run. When you complain to the owner he simply says, “that’s why we have 2 stars…you can write whatever review you want, but it’s the rate that is important”. Don’t prove him right and take your business elsewhere!

- Ronald (6/5): - Great location with beautiful beach and decent snorkeling. Only issue was missing basic essentials: Blankets for bunk beds, soap for the bathroom, wash cloths, paper towels for the kitchen, cooking utensils towels for the pool.

- Carlos (2/5): - We booked this through Expedia for 3 people, I talked to the manager of this inn and mentioned that we in fact had three adults staying there. Once arrived, there was one bed and the other was brought via pickup truck. Asked for towels and tiolet paper and none were brought, internet was not working with the provided password, and the television was not working. Pictures do not match the description.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - The pool is not safe- slippery and there’s nothing guarding you from falling straight off the side into the rocks. No railing on the steps. No wi-fi. Broken blinds. Microwave didn’t work. Dirty bathroom sink. Heard cars all night. Old bedding, smells like mold, cleaning supplies left in the room. Some rooms were used for storing home improvement items. Wasn’t anyone here to greet me, but he showed up for the next people. Ok location, will need a car, some parking available. Not worth the money at all. If it was $60 a night then I could understand why things are run down- but they’re charging twice as much and I don’t see why. Don’t recommend not kid safe. Water in front of the hotel room doors- need to repave the walkway.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Needs better management!! - Place was run down, pool was dirty, dead rats outside the door, stray dogs sleeping on the balcony, and not much privacy.. only a thin curtain for a bathroom door.. mattress stained, also no one available for check in, police was called on me trying to check in . Quickly resolved by calling hotel's.com.. but overall not a great spot.. but has potential. Needs better management!!

- Anita (2/5): - The property was nothing like the description or pictures - don’t stay here unless you have not other choice. the air conditioning didn’t work the WiFi didn’t exist, the pool was not usable and it was basically a concrete shake between the highway and the ocean. And reach just jagged volcanic rocks. I was ready to go someplace else and fight for a refund but the property owner owned another property down the street and moved us to the other property.
- Fernando (2/5): - Tv/ WiFi did not work. Room for only 3-4 cars…. The property had about 6 rooms, not enough parking. The bed was very hard. I have stayed at many places and this one had the worst bed. Room was clean, I’ll attest to that. I ended up leaving a day early from this location to find a place where I can sleep more comfortable. I asked for half my payment back, I was denied. The owner offered another room, I didn’t feel a room would better change my overall experience, if this is your only options, it will do but don’t settle for this property.
- John (2/5): - My reservation was canceled without letting me know. Had to make last minute changes to my lodging for the nights stay at a different facility. It cost me a small fortune to find a place. I am not happy. I would never recommend anyone stay with this property owner
- Alexa (2/5): TERRIBLE - We ended up not staying here because it’s nothing like the pictures. Everything around it looks abandoned. Nowhere to park, no communication from the staff, it’s definitely a set up and they’re trying to steal money from people. The owners should be ashamed.

- Andrew (2/5): - Zero communication. This is the worst place. I traveled to Arecibo to see the Observatory with my son because he loves space stuff. I was not able to get into my room. There is no staff on site. There is no email, phone, text, etc form of communication. After repeated attempts at multiple communications methods, I left the property in the dark and went to Burger King to recharge my phone with my son and booked something else. DONT STAY HERE. It looked like a crack house. The nice pool in the photos was covered in bird crap and the road is very dangerous with bad parking. I took my son to the hotel at the Observatory and it was awesome. This place stole my money.

- Jennifer (4/5): - It was not what I was expecting at all. There wasn’t anybody to welcome you and by luck, someone who knows the owner called him so we can check in. The area doesn’t feel safe and I was scared the whole time. The photos at the site are great, but the reality it’s a completely different thing. They didn’t even have soap at the shower. It was really disappointing. I’m very happy it’s over.
- Kangfeng (2/5): Misleading description and pictures - Terrible place. Called ocean front, but no ocean view from room at all. No front desk there. No enough cover on bed. No paper towel, no soap , no shampoo. There were mosquitoes./bugs in the room where I got bite. The sink in the baths room is extremely small. We were misled by the pictures on the web!

- Fransheska (10/5): - Perfect place close to a lot of food spots and nice beaches. The view was great. Host (Angel Abreu) was easy to reach by text. The apartment was very clean and all appliances were working. Will definitely come back here if staying in Arecibo soon.
- MAYDANIS (2/5): - This was a complete disappointment! I rarely write a review but I felt I wouldn't like for somebody else to go through this terrible experience. When we got to the "hotel", the air conditioner was not working (room was extremely hot), we unsuccessfully tried to turn it on and called to notify the issue just to be told she will let the owner know. As we were waiting in that sauna to get an answer/call back, my husband found that the brake box was off and fix it himself; we were called 42 min later by the same lady (she apparently had no solution at that moment yet but we told her we managed to turn on the AC) Also, cockroaches were everywhere!!! I chose a king bed for me and my husband... bed was super hard, only had one pillow which was stinky (this was the worse!) towels were in sooo bad condition (stained, old, smelling bad) I used my beach towels (I'm glad I decided to take one with me from home) I was expecting to have a window with a view of the ocean as the pictures showed, but to my disappointment, my room didn't have a window to the back although I could always take a pick from the tiny window in the bathroom that had the blinds already broken I think from a preview renter in the effort to look out. Pool was guarded by a small dog and deck was filthy so we decided better not to use it. I do NOT recommend this place! look around! there are plenty of good places to stay
- Andres (2/5): - Very displeased with the customer service we received! We called and complained about the roach problem we noticed after being there for 10 min. They offered to move us to the room next to us which had more roaches. We obviously declined! Woman on phone asked us what they can do for us, well since they were no other rooms we can go to at 9PM in the area we figured we would sleep with all the lights on leave our luggage in the car so nothing would crawl in there and not rebook again, The least they could’ve did was gave us a phone call back and a discount! The woman stated she was going to speak to someone and give us a call back. That NEVER happened! They had the nerve to charge over $100 to sleep with roaches!

- Elohim (6/5): Disappointed - To Begin, I arrived late in the night due to flight delay. There were no one to do a check In and didn’t know where was a key. The Parking was on the street and didn’t know where to park. The second day someone started knocking on the doors looking for someone at 3am. For the price is not worth and don’t recommend it.

I would have liked to have a clothesline to dry towels or have towels laundered on stays over 3 days. The host sent more towels quickly but still needed a place to dry or Linder them. I would have liked a welcome email from the host explaining how to use the pool. I would recommend removing any old/decrepit electric stoves. I would recommend beach towels and chairs for guests. I liked the checkin via lock box at any time. I liked that there was wifi and wifi enabled TV. I liked the Ocean sounds I liked the ocean views.
