The room was very basic, but clean and everything worked. The pool was nice - very clean and because of the temperature had it to myself. The location is convenient - just south of all the honky tonk of the PPB boardwalk. I would have liked a firmer mattress.

• Maura (9/5): - My boyfriend and I stayed in the off season. The Motor Lodge’s location was still convenient and close to the beach and boardwalk. The room was modern and nicely furnished. The staff in the office was also friendly. There was some sand on the floor in the bathroom, but that’s to be expected for a beach hotel and it didn’t bother us too much.

• Bambi (10/5): Very bright and clean! - The room was amazingly clean and has an incredible location. Once you're parked at the lodge, you can easily walk to nearby attractions and the beach. I had other plans for this stay, but definitely intend to book this lodging again in the future!

The fridge was a really good size for a child that still needs milk- wish there was a microwave. The heated pool was a nice touch and the pebble grill was very convenient. • lubin (9/5): If you’re coming to Point Pleasant and want to go to the beach without being in the middle of the boardwalk craziness an - The location is amazing by the beach and boardwalk. The pool was really nice too on a hot summer’s day. The breakfast, smoothie, and snack options were nice while hanging out at the pool. The beds were comfortable. The parking was a bit tight, but not a big deal with plenty of parking on the street. The TV could be better quality and reception with more channels.

• Amanda (10/5): - It may not look like much on the outside, but our room was so nice, spacious, clean, updated, and cool! Mini fridge worked great and I liked that the floors were laminate and not carpet. There was a full bathtub for the kids. The pool was PERFECT for kids— there was a shallow end my kids could stand in (4 and 7 years old). We were on the second floor but the stairs weren’t bad. Loved it here and will use this hotel each time we come to Point Pleasant beach!

• Dianne (8/5): - I was disappointed in the room as it didn't have a coffee maker or a microwave. No pool towels when I didn't bring my own as most hotels provide them. Air conditioner was EXTREMELY loud. But I did like that when my TV didn't work and I went to the office two people came immediately and fixed it. A little disappointed although they said they were new TV's they were only for streaming channels.

• Kami (10/5): - This motel was in the perfect location for visiting the beach and Boardwalk. We walked less than a mile and found several breakfast and dinner options not on the Boardwalk. They were also offering Bingo the night we arrived. Rooms were clean and so was the pool and pool area.

• Nora (8/5): Clean and comfortable. - Super clean. They are in the process of working on the property which is a bit dated. It is definitely bare bones in amenities. Some things like a box of tissues and some hooks for hanging towels would go a long way.

My take away is it was a great hotel if you're ok with BASIC BASIC needs- even though i was slightly inconvenienced, I'd stay again 😊 ☆Pros: VERY close proximity to the beach & Boardwalk- we didn't have to move the car our entire trip! Also very clean, very spacious, couldn't hear our neighbors, housekeeping came every day, AC worked well (as long as housekeepers don't change it to 'auto' when they come to clean), pool was open 8am-8pm, free wifi ☆Cons: no elevators (we had to carry all our luggage up & down the 12-ish stairs), no tissues, microwave, clock, coffee pot, or hair dryer (they had one upon request in the office) in the room, mini fridge wasnt even big enough to hold a takeout container, the AC was a bit loud

• Laurie (2/5): A total disappointment. Made me angry because I felt so taken. So little for so much money. - The place was very clean. We liked eating breakfast by the pool. There was not much to like at this place. Really surprising and disappointing. We are on a 19 day road trip to hike the Appalachian Trail in Vermont. Hands down, I’m sure this will be the worst place we stayed in! There was NO coffee in the room!!! Astounding! There is no place we go that doesn’t have coffee in the morning. I wake up at 5:00 am so had to wait until 8 am for a cup of coffee and then it wasn’t included. We had to buy it! The bathroom had NO shelving to put cosmetic, morning supplies or anything! And there was plenty of room in thereto put a small shelf or cabinet. Owners too cheap or greedy to be accommodating! There was no suitcase rack to put our suitcases on. We had to get stuff out of our suitcase on the floor for God sakes. The TV didn’t work! Bad signal, interrupted. Couldn’t even listen to the news after an 8 hour drive that day. The fan made a loud noise when turned on high. No Kleenex, not even some soap in the bathtub. Geez, how cheap are you guys!? The pictures on the website showed a different place, not a 1950’s motel with no ordinary amenities! If I had known what it was really like I would have NEVER booked this damn place!😵‍💫😖☹️😝😩
• Dr. Munzné dr Pácsa (7/5): - A Hotel az óceán parthoz nagyon közel, a Boardwalktól 2 perc távolságra helyezkedik el. Üzletek pár perc autóútra találhatóak. Nagyobb medence és menüről választható reggeli és vacsora áll a vendégek rendelkezésére. A személyzet nagyon kedves, segítőkész. A szobák kicsit régiesek, hiányzik a micro. Az elhelyezkedése miatt a hotel nagyon drága.
• Lori (8/5): - I would definitely stay again. Perfect location one block from the boardwalk. Beds could use new ones out bed had a divot in it. And the shower head was a small stream of water. Other than that it was very clean.

• ADRIAN (4/5): A convenient place to stay by the beach and boardwalk. - It was close to the beach and boardwalk. The pool was nice. The staff were very friendly. I don't think they had enough parking for all the rooms, but you could park free on the side streets. The snack bar was very convenient for breakfast or lunch. Coffee was pretty good. The room we had on the ground floor by the pool was dated. The walk in front was very tight between the building and the pool fence. The vanity/sink was newer, but the plumber didn't connect the trap to the tail piece. A few broken tiles around the tub. The bed was very hard. I don't think I could have slept a third night on it. The Fridge was small along with the TV. There seemed to be a sewer smell in the bathroom. I thought it may be coming from the opening in the tail piece so I duct taped it, but still had the smell. It could be the trap was not working properly. Overall it was a convenient place to stay, but a bit pricey for what it was. They should be reinvesting in updating some rooms on a regular basis.
