People were nice and trying to do well but there was always something missing, breakfast buffet with porridge but not switched on, cheese but no cutlery, so we always had to ask for the missing part… They say the breakfast buffet opens at 6.30am but it’s actually not ready. We had to take the resort’s shuttle at 7am and we couldn’t have a proper breakfast before neither the staff nor the buffet was actually ready at 6.30am.

• georgeaX6410HV (10/5): A very happy stay at the Pantai Indah Lagoi Bintan - We had a wonderful start to our new year at Pantai Indah Lagoi Bintan. We stayed in a 1-bedroom villa which we loved! The villa was spacious and suited our family of 3 very nicely. It was convenient to have a kitchenette for preparing simple meals and the private swimming pool was a luxurious touch (see photo). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities included an amazing beach (see photo); we came when the moon was full, so at low tide we were able to wander for great distances to explore the sea life in the tide pools (see photos). We also enjoyed other activities, such as riding ATVs around the resort and the nearby lake. One particularly memorable experience was our moonlight dinner on the beach: we had a multicourse feast that was grilled near our table at the beach. It was also easy to hire a car and driver to visit other Bintan attractions, such as the Blue Lake and the Safari Lagoi Bintan (see tiger photo). It was a fantastic vacation at the Pantai Indah Lagoi Bintan and we were sad to leave.

Choose this resort if you want space, clean rooms and a very chill vibe.

It was good as they seem to really checked on who or which guest was entering the resort. 👍🏻 The resort was very nice, so spacious , very clean as well! The pool is really well maintain. Bed is super comfy. Have Netflix on TV. Requested for a room deco for surprise birthday , even tho the date of the deco gotten wrong, appreciate the reservation officer came personally to actually apologies. But I have to say the birthday deco is very pretty. I love it The team member and all the staff are very friendly , approachable and helpful. • 410leim (10/5): Love the private pool! 💕 - We booked a one bedroom villa at Pantai Indah for 3 days 2 nights. Loved the private pool 💕 the bathroom was really spacious with a huge bathtub as well. The bed was super comfortable! The staff were also friendly and helpful. You can walk down to the beach and there’re bean bags to lounge around nearby. The Lagoi beach is also close by - you can rent e-bike or bicycle to go there. For renting a car, need a driving license. We got the e-bike and it was 200,000 IDR per hour. For spa booking, just need to tell the reception and the spa will arrange a car for 2-ways transport. Will come again for future trips!

• iemstrangeew (10/5): Wonderful kids friendly experience at Pantai Indah Lagoi - Location is about 20 mins away from BBT ferry terminal but very close to Plaza Lagoi and Lagoi Bay (5min drive). Love love love the villa with a swimming pool (1.4m) deep and the spacious living and dining room + huge bedroom with a very big toilet (bathtub) and shower and 2 sinks! My children enjoyed the place a lot, went to swim almost twice everyday in the comfort of our villa. The place was also very clean with the occasional bugs (meal worms, flying ants, ants) but that's all part of the villa experience because the green landscape around the villa make it's so beautiful and feel like we are living in a forestry area. Breakfast food was average. Could be better, or not so suited to our preference. But very kids friendly with their waffles, and cereals, yogurt and milk and egg station. Would definitely recommend for those who just want to have some peace and relax and have children who loves the pool. Ambiance was great, very quiet and peaceful.

My kids enjoy the swimming pool very well. Also has a nice private beach with Georges sunset views. Very helpful staff and provide a lot of different facilities, from bike rental, kayak to chess, ATM, etc. A good choice for a big family to enjoy a peaceful and private holiday! Only 1 restaurant in the hotel with very limited selections. of course you can go outside for dining, but would be great if there're more options available in the hotel. Also the location is not at the center of Lagoi, though it is not far away and you can always ask them to send you and pick you up!

• Tobias (9/5): Schönes Resort gegenüber Singapur zum Entspannen. - Sehr schönes Resort für ein paar Tage Entspannung nach einem Singapur-Aufenthalt. Man muss aber berücksichtigen, dass das Hotel wenig Allgemeinbereiche hat. Die meisten Gäste halten sich nur in ihren Villas auf und lassen sich auch das Essen dorthin bringen. Für den „Strand“ ist wichtig zu wissen, dass dort viele Stunden Ebbe ist und dann eben kein Wasser da ist. Unter der Woche war die Anlage leer / wenig gebucht. Das Personal hat nicht immer ausreichende Englisch-Kenntnisse. Für die Einreise unbedingt indonesisches Geld für das Visum mitnehmen, sonst wird man brutal abgezockt (kein ATM im ganzen Terminal und Wechselkurse aus der Hölle) - keine Kartenzahlung für die Visa!

• fragmentedm (10/5): A sanctuary with exceptional service - Booked our stay via Agoda for the 1 bedroom villa for their private pool. Prior to check in, I emailed them and their response was fast and they addressed my queries. Check in was fast and smooth. As we have paid for our stay, they did not take any security deposit. The resort was huge and a complimentary buggy ride was arranged to bring us to our room. The aircon in the hall and bedroom were already switched on when we entered (talk about going the extra mile). Soon after, housekeeping staff, Tamrin, gave us a 3-5 minutes brief about the room and service provided. He was stellar! He was pleasant, polite and professional. The hotel has a WhatsApp service and they are literally a text away. They responded quickly and professionally to our queries. We ordered Warong Hey online and the service staff delivered it to our room. The sofa and bed were comfortable. There's a rotating TV in the bedroom with many channels and that was a plus. Pro tip: Ensure you close all doors to prevent insects from flying in as the bathroom is an open concept. We had to take the first ferry out and requested for our breakfast to be packed in the interest of time. They delivered our breakfast in plates instead punctually at 630am on the dot (as requested) and we could understand why. There was no need to rush, we reached the ferry terminal at 730am and we had a proper and hearty breakfast before leaving. All in all, service was exceptional and we are already planning our next trip. Some areas for improvement: -plates were a bit big for the microwave so the plate couldn't rotate -estate shows signs of ageing -pool could be cleaner.

• Nadar7 (10/5): Pure luxury - relax and rejuvenate in ultimate comfort! - Beautiful! Lovely island and friendly people. The villa was large and very clean. Huge bathroom that opens to the outside st one end - past the bath. Good size shower as well. Nice dressing/makeup/wardrobe area as part of bedroom. King sized bed that was very comfortable. There were two areas that were air conditioned that you needed to keep shut out from flies and humity. The kitchen is open to the outdoors on two sides and has shade curtain that blocks of the side next to the pool. The villa had its own pool, and it was quite luxurious - quite a decent size and the temperature was cool and refreshing - we swam several times a day and at night. It was a special highlight for us both - loved it! The room service, the reception, the restaurant staff were all polite and friendly. We had two mechanical issues in the bathroom - a sink not draining and a tap malfunctioning. They were both fixed the same day. The resort had its own cars including a small electric car that would take you places. Longer journeys did add a fee to your bill but it wasn’t too much. We had the restaurant food a few times - it was nice, prompt but a little pricy. All in all our stay was a pleasant follow on from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. This was indulgent relaxation, including a Dpa session at the resort - fancier than the other one we had on a day trip out, and a little bit more expensive but very convenient and refreshing! We didn’t go for a swim off the beach - the tide was out when we choose to go, but we enjoyed a stroll and a sit in the sand. Our pool was so good ( snd close) we didn’t need to swim in the sea or even check out the resorts pool. The resort is close to others in the Lagoi Bay area, snd it’s easy to arrange a car and driver for the day to visit the few attractions that Bintan offer. It’s also cheap. We did that through Klook. Make up your own itinerary if the offered tours don’t suit.

• qif2025 (8/5): Hotel is good but bad experiece with agoda - We spent 3 days in two room villa of Pantai Indah Lagoi Bintan, and we had wonderful experiences there. The villa has nice swimming pool and it is very clean. There are some activies, such as driving ATV in the jungle and coast. Also it is possible to hire a mini EV, which costs 500K IDR per 3 hours, if you have driving license with you. However due to the hotel location, food options are very limited. For all 3 days, we had our meals in the only resturant of the hotel. One advice is be careful if you book via agoda.com. When we made the booking, there were two options, non refundable/breakfast excluded and refundable/breakfast included. We chose refundable/breakfast included, but realized breakfast was not included only when checked in. The booking was was refundable, we were not sure how it was possible when the website did not have this option.

The villa and pool were lovely. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the slight imperfections eg some switches weren’t working and we had to leave the fan/light on perpetually. Even so, I’d look forward to staying again.
• MoreTea2Vicar (8/5): A buffet with next to no food, is not a buffet. Why is that my lasting impression? - The resort is a complex of one and two bedroom individual pool villas. There are no hotel rooms in a block, there is no main communal pool. Apart from a large beach, with next to nothing on it to attract guests (no sun beds or seating, just a few bean bags and fixed umbrellas) and a dining room beside a small buffet area, there was very little to attract guests away from the pool villas. The staff were overwhelming friendly and welcoming, the villa and the pool were exceptionally clean. The cleaning crew arrives mob handed to the villa so they’re out of the way quickly if you’re in it. Drinks and the restaurant menu can be delivered to your villa by the ever helpful staff. Our one bed villa was a collection of pods surrounding the individual pool. The front door opened into an air conditioned living room, with dual aspect patio doors facing the pool and outdoor kitchenette area. There’s no TV in it. The covered outdoor kitchenette consists of a single cold water sink, a microwave, basic crockery and cutlery, kettle, fridge freezer and a large dining table and 2 dining chairs under a ceiling fan. We didn’t use the microwave until the final morning and it didn’t work. It’s only 8 paces across the decking from the kitchenette to the bedroom’s patio doors. You’ll need the supplied umbrella if it’s raining as it’s uncovered. The air conditioned bedroom was well equipped for a short stay and had a huge comfortable bed with quality bedding. The WiFi works well and there’s no security or password required so use your VPN. The TV when we could get it to work had a large shadow in the screen’s corner. A decoder box was a loose fit in to the mains adapter so didn’t use the TV as it was unreliable. The room safe didn’t work when we arrived and was quickly replaced. As per our previous visits to Indonesia, they are not fixed down to anything but there’s some comfort in knowing it took 2 guys to physically carry it out of the room for repair and return it. The well equipped en-suite bathroom was on the other side of more sliding doors with a security lock as one side is open behind a huge roller blind. There’s a tall security wall behind it. The lasting impression unfortunately, is of the poorly presented breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet option. At the evening dinner buffet, (like the breakfast) next to nothing was available when we arrived in the middle of the dinner period. Minimal salad bar availability, an emptyTom yum soup option, no rice, no bihun, no vegetables and no grill items. Yes - when we complained there was nothing to choose from some meat was put on the grill and a plate of fish and large prawns arrived afterwards, but none of the other missing items on the published menu appeared. Either put the food out that’s advertised on the buffet menu or don’t do it. It makes the resort look bad. Room service from the fixed menu was the better option, it was much better quality, fresher and complete. We didn’t eat in the restaurant again over our several night stay.

Good food in various other hotels. Meal can range from SG 50 per pax up to $400 depending on the restaurant. Some famous restaurants have to be booked a day in advance. A lot of singaporean family present for short staycation. Ferry ride not the best. Long delay. Booked a guide to bring me trekking. Wonderful but tiring experience. Will go again
• R (6/5): Less then expected experience for the price we paid. - The staff were friendly and warm. Reception: The reception office was somewhat small and cramped. There was no space for my family of 5 to stand or sit in a place. The reception area has to be big with some sofas to make it welcoming. We are paying a premium price. The first experience matters. Rat problem: The villa we booked was good but there were severe rat issues. They were pooping and peeing every where in the kitchen area and the smell was bad. I had to clean the kitchen area everyday myself as I had small kids with me. This smell was in the main bedroom's bathroom as well. We wanted a resort experience with good smell and service. The staff were helpful but something has to be done more drastically to eradicate the rats from the property. Leaking floor: There was heavy rains and some water entered the living room despite the glass doors closed. The staff came to immediately clean but they had to put towels on the floor because the water had gone inside the tiles and was leaking water every time we stepped on it. My kid skid and fell because of that.

The friendlines - I liked that the place was all in one villa, so peaceful with no noise from neighbouring villas. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Top notch services from shuttle/buggy services, housekeeping, room services. Breakfast was great too as there were a wide spread of variations!! The pool pump was not working? Or perhaps it was not switched on to keep the water going, regardless there is anyone staying in the villa. hence the water was stagnant throughout our stay. You could see flies or insects on the top layer of water, i was skeptical to swim.

Was pleasantly surprised during the villa walk-through on our first day as my partner had secretly arranged with the staff for the birthday decoration. Shoutout to Siti and Tamrin for their efforts in decorating the room and bathtub so nicely! Did not managed to get the rest of staff's names but everyone whom we met during our stay were great in their service rendered. From the team at the entrance who welcomed us on our first day, to the front desk and concierge team, breakfast staff and room service staff, everyone were really friendly and service was pretty quick as well. Their what's app business account was very convenient for us whenever we needed something during the stay as they responded very promptly. Thank you team at Pantai Indah Lagoi for the great first experience and we hope to be back some day! If you are staying here and want to explore the area, we highly recommend the Bintan Sand Dune & Blue Lake Tour which is about a 30-45mins journey from the villa. The place is really nice to take many beautiful pictures and there was a nice seafood place (Rindu Selalu Jaganya Seafood) just 5 minutes from the Blue Lake as well.

The villa was very neat and spacious and the bedrooms were clean and comforting. We had splashing good times in the pool throughout our stay. Daily Breakfast spread was adequate and sumptuous and we particularly enjoyed one morning when the morning meal was delivered and served in our villa itself. The resort also offers rental of scooters/bicycles and Electric Vehicles which we utilized and allowed us to explore parts of the Bintan Resort and Lagoi Plaza/Bay Areas. There are also other activities such as archery, ATV, canoeing etc which one can engage at a fee. Overall, we were delighted with the premise, especially the warm, friendly and prompt services that we received during our entire stay.

We have active toddlers and they were running around, the staff was with them all the way playing with them. Location wise its far away from the city and that’s why its a good place to chill and heal. Though it could be a bit expensive for activities and in room services, you could opt to eat out.

From the moment my family was met on arrival at the ferry terminal , to the day of check-out , we were well taken care of. The villa was nice and accomodating. It was clean and comfy. The plus point is we were able to communicate with the front reception just by Whatsapp. Room service , taxi pickup ... u name it, they have it. They surprised me with a birthday cake and birthday song , right at the doorstep, which is a nice gesture ! They even served breakfast in the villa , which is an advantage , due travelling with toddlers, it is a challenge to get them ready in the morning. To the team that assisted my family throughout my entire stay , from front reception , to housekeeping , to the drivers , thankyou for ur superb and amazing service. I have stayed at other resorts but nothing beats Pantai Indah. The only issue we had was wifi and network issues which was due to bad weather. We will be back again next year. See you guys soon.

It was quiet and not much to do around the resort, which was exactly what we were looking for. The service was outstanding!! We were looked after so well, the cleaning staff was excellent, the front desk super helpful and the restaurant staff very accomodating. We booked a trip to Blue Lake with a driver and also rented an EV to drive around ourselves. Both great experiences and easy to arrange and book. The resort got more lively towards the weekend. The neighbours could be heard. The villa is a little bit older but everything was in good working order. You could just see that some repairs had been done or a sun sail used to be over the daybed that isn’t there anymore. But we didn’t mind that. We got an amazing breakfast everyday delivered to our villa. We went to the little restaurant at night. The food was great. We were given little appreciations throughout the week, like fruit platters or some snacks, which I think is the hotel going above and beyond. The villa was a bit pricey but for us worth every penny.

Please be reminded that Bintan is strictly a place for to u to chill, don’t expect activities and heavy human traffic. This ain’t BALI.
