Guest Reviews
- Deborah (9/5): -
- Roy (9/5): A very pleasant flat no views other than a car park - Location was very good bed comfortable table was set ready to eat No clock on the wall no, washing up bowl ,no shower slip mat
Cup and glass cubard far too high to safely get them out off I'm 5.2
- Jeremy (10/5): Excellent. - Everything. We’ve stayed before and booked again for later in the year. Nothing
- Martin (8/5): Tidy condition and ideal location for our purposes. - Bed comfy. My wife loved the bedside lampshades. Location decent and handy for beach. We arrived 10.30pm and parking available still & easy to access the property. Overall clean and tidy and ideal location Dribbly shower. Parking was tight as we were last to arrive. No radio
- Stuart (9/5): Had a wonderful two night stay - property is well positioned and has an immaculate bright interior and outlook . Loved s - Spotlessly clean , modern minimalistic lifestyle decor - particularly the lounge - well equipped and good location . Everything was excellent - would prefer king size bed rather than double ,but that’s only personal preference .
- Tracy (1/5): - Great location. How cold the entire flat was!.
No heating on , on the Friday when we arrived. we turned the heating up and went out for the evening. We returned in the early hours of the morning to a flat that was so cold you could see your breath. We decided to vacate the flat a day early.
When I complained, I was told the heating was done remotely! And if I had let them know, they could have turned the heating on.
The fact is we only got back to the flat in the early hours. And we weren't prepared to sit around the Saturday morning in an absolute freezing flat waiting for someone to read our message and then have to wait for them to turn the heating on.
- Ching (7/5): Conveniently Situated Holiday Apartment - The apartment is well laid out. It is small - all the rooms are small - but it flows well. The bed, which almost fills the bedroom, is exceptionally comfortable. We found the apartment noisy. There seemed to be some kind of engine or machine constantly running underneath the bathroom. The reverberations of whatever this was went throughout the apartment. We were particularly aware of this constant throbbing/buzzing noise when lying in bed, and it somewhat interfered with our ability to sleep well.
- King (8/5): - Flat was clean and right Size for 2 people
- kath (8/5): -
- DENISE (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location, view of sea and beach plus minute walking distance.
Clean, comfortable and very well maintained.
Thank you
- Joe (10/5): Perfect :) -
- Ann (10/5): - Stayed here before great location always clean Sorry have to say bed felt damp tried to put heating up but didn't help
- michael (8/5): -
- shaun (8/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): A lovely stay - Brill location Wi-Fi for t.v also comfy settee and chair. I looked good but was far from comfy. Bed great.
- James (10/5): Cosy and comfy - The property was easy to find. The facilities were excellent comfy beds great kitchen and it feels like a home from home. Nothing
- Jeremy (10/5): Liked it so much we’ve booked it again. - Location, decor, parking, in fact everything. Nothing.
- Ralph (9/5): -
- Morton (10/5): Excellent and clean facilities! All the kitchen gadgets I could need and many more besides. - Exceptional kitchen facilities! I couldn't find the iron, so I called and someone was knocking on my door with one, within 5 minutes! Amazing! And the iron had been in the third bedroom drawer, all along. Fish and chips shop just around the corner and near the beach for walks, etc. WiFi was great also.
I would definitely book with this host again -- very impressed! I don't live in Britain and so am unfamiliar with lockboxes, but luckily I was with my cousin, who does. He entered the code to open the first door and then there was a number at the bottom of the message -- that was for the lockbox with a key inside. Not sure that I would have guessed that, so wording like "Use the code at the end of this message" might be useful.
Labeling the second pull-cord in the bathroom as "Shower" would be fatuous for most Britons but might be useful for visitors.
I banged my head on the dormer more than once, but am not sure what you could do about that.
- Corrigan (9/5): Very impressed, would like to stay again some time. - Very clean and tidy, nice touch was that the table was laid ready for dinner. Space around the bed was restrictive and there was no bedroom door.
- GARY (10/5): -
- Georgina (9/5): Good location for a relaxing break! - Great location the apartment was tasty fully decorated and well maintained. Although there was on-site parking at the property the parking spaces are not allocated and were occupied by guests in other apartments . However there was available on street parking.
- Suzanne (10/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Very enjoyable stay, relaxing break in very nice apartment - Very clean spacious apartment..great location..comfortable and cosy. Hot water supply was a trickle, taking a long time to warm up..bathroom window difficult to open and shut and when windy causing bathroom door to bang at times..bedroom window ledge was wet after stormy weather through the night, possible leaky seal…kitchen bin lid broken.
- Ching (8/5): -
- Susan (9/5): Enjoyable coastal stay - The flat was spacious and comfortable with all the facilities that we needed. We loved the seaside themed decor. The location was good. Just a 12 minute walk into the main shopping and eating areas of St Annes. We didn't use the car park but there were ample places to park on the wide road. Would definitely stay here again when we return up to Lancashire next time. Could do with a few more coat hangers and the bathroom fan was very noisy.
- SUSANNE (10/5): Location excellent - Clean spacious apartment. Great location close to everything. Easy check in
- Valerie (10/5): - Good location
- Kate (9/5): - Lovely spacious flat which has been decorated to a high level. Close to the sea front. The kitchen door which led to the balcony did not lock.
Due to a mix up with the checking out times, the cleaner attempted to come into the flat.
- Georgina (8/5): -
- Gordon (8/5): -
- Alison (9/5): Lovely seaside apartment - Clean, comfortable small apartment, perfect for a couple, in an excellent location with good parking.
- Andrew (9/5): - A lovely spacious apartment, excellent facilities, very clean, and in a great area. The owners kept me informed with necessary details during my visit. No complaints whatsoever.
- Gary (9/5): A great place to stay for a short or medium break. Quiet, but close to many facilities. - The location was great for St Annes and a short car journey from Lytham. It was quiet and close to a lovely restaurant, a cafe and the beach. I could easily walk to St Annes, but my partner, who has mobility issues, would not be able to walk that far.
The flat was lovely. It was spacious and comfortable and had enough room for a much longer stay. The bathroom was great. It had all the basics that you would ever need.
The Wi-Fi was great and easy to log into. There was plenty of sockets. It was up two flights of stairs, which was difficult for my partner to climb. There was no hot, running water, except for the shower. I don't know if it didn't work or I hadn't switched something on, but I couldn't get it to work.
- Tony (7/5): -
- Paul (8/5): -
- Jeanette (10/5): Fantastic break away - The apartment was spotless with everything needed for a great stay. Great location and quiet at night. Would highly recommend.
- Richard (10/5): came for the weekend as not stayed in st anne's before would stay here again - clean able to park comfy quiet location the flat is as described in the pictures nothing
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (5/5): less han i - N/A the door was very unreliable when the code was entered and often I had to enter the code 3 or 4 times before the could be opened .
Also the flat was very small especially the bedroom ,the bathroom sink had no proper plug .
- Max (10/5): Very comfortable property, shower could have been stronger but didn’t take away from our stay - Loved the seagull wallpaper! Very comfortable apartment Shower a little weak, and the heating was either on or off
- Carolyn (7/5): Good - The flat was big and in good location. Parking was great. Key codes easy to use. Bed was very comfortable. Decor is nice and really liked the themed mugs! No towels supplied on our first day. Unable to get shower. Communication very slow with host as out of hours. Had to buy our own towel as we didn't get towels until later the next day.
Internal doors very scruffy, and ill fitted.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect stay in a beautiful location. - Beautifully presented with a great layout and lovely, comfortable furniture. The kitchen was new and had everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was nice. Plenty of hanging and storage space. The balcony was a real bonus with its side view down the street to the beach. A lovely spot to sit. Will definitely be back. Nothing at all. It surpassed our expectations.
- Kaz69 (8/5): Very good - The location of the apartment, with parking, was fabulous. A short stroll to the prom/sea with a great beach cafe just at the end of the road. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. A great tv and shower! There was a lot of noise from the apartment above ours with an unreasonable & excessive amount of movement going on early mornings, very late at night and any time inbetween that we were in so that made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.
- Wayne (9/5): Great Location - Lytham St Ann's - Beautiful Walks along the Beach - Great Location, for what we needed - Lytham Green is 10 minutes away and was around £9 in a Taxi - Large spacious lounge area, well equipped kitchen etc.
Balcony is a plus, especially when that sun is shining I didn't have any issues
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (8/5): Lovely stay at the chymes holiday flat well equipped, the hosts were lovely ,very clean and in a good location - Location Bed small
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean, bright apartment. Quiet area but walking distance to shops, cafe etc. Could have some coffee pods for the coffee machine as a welcome .
- Hugo (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): We have booked again. - The location almost on the front was excellent.
- Peter (9/5): Great find will stay again - Coastal Suite met all expectations, Location to sea front. Balcony had sea view and good weather meant we could use it.
- Bee (9/5): Nice flat in good location. - Great location. Nice clean flat, had everything we needed. Good communication with the owner. Nothing
- Bina (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (7/5): The Chymes - Very clean. Great location. We had a problem with the door codes that was settled eventually but caused a wee bit of concern as we were enroute at the time with no internet and poor mobile reception
- Malpas (4/5): never booking here again - bed was fantastic, well told them my fiance was waking for knee operation, but didn't tell me about the stairs, really bad 😞😞 her knee was killing her, 😞😞😞also pay extra for an up grade never happened, the room was really small, will not be stopping here again, I expect better has they could of said about the stairs, there better apartments on here much cheaper on booking.com and more helpful
- Debra (9/5): Superb -
- Portia (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Superb flat. - Great position, with free parking. The flat had everything we needed and was really comfortable. Nothing
- Spencer (8/5): Very good -
- Chesters (8/5): Good location, safe parking, no outside space - No outside space
- Caron (10/5): Exceptional - The coastal suite has everything you need for a very clean and comfortable stay. With just a walk across the road to the beach cafe and beach.
- Katy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (10/5): First break in 10 years without Our daughter first impressions was amazing the apartment had everything you could wish - Location , Immaculately clean , furnishings comfy and beautiful, everything was supplied if you chose to use it Nothing
- Boden (10/5): A holiday to remember - The apartment was very clean and close to all amenities and across the road from the sea we have been before and it is still spotless would tell anyone to spend a holiday at the chimes holiday flat you would not be disappointed There was nothing we didn't like about our stay
- Leanne (8/5): Great flat in an excellent location - Love the themed flat and cute accessories. Easy check in and out. Excellent location. A short walk to the beach, pier and facilities.
My daughter didn't want to leave. The bathroom fan was a bit noisy but didn't affect our stay. .
- Robert (8/5): St Annes is a wonderful place to stay - Shower not consistent could not regulate reported this to the office they told me to switch it off and back on again made no difference, no follow up to check if all was ok.
- Natalie (8/5): Perfect Stay in a Lovely Apartment – Ideal Locatio - We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The apartment was light, nicely decorated, warm, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the centre. We were lucky with the great weather, which made our birthday celebration even more special. It was our first time in St Anne’s and we’ll definitely be returning! Easy check in and parking! Thank you
- Natalie (9/5): Relaxing stay - Lovely mini break , close to the beach and walkable to Lytham St Anne’s.
- Tina (10/5): So relaxing, quiet location even though we was very close to all beach and town amenities. We are local and this was jus - Its location was fabulous.
The property was stunning. Very top spec decor and spotless.
Was a very comfortable space.
- Astbury (10/5): Perfect place - Everything! Check in was easy. Decor was very nice. Plenty of space. Only 1 suggestion, make EV charger available at a cost to customers. I'd have been more than happy to pay for charging through the night.
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (7/5): Good - Comfy, clean and spacious Small shower and bed. Kept smashing my head off the door frame due to being too low.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Irene (9/5): Superb - Location
Beach Cafe for breakfast
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very pleasant stay 2 windows in lounge area, both hinges are broken causing a constant draft
would be happy to quote to replace hinges
- Rachel (9/5): Lovely find. - Area is great, peaceful, loved the balcony to have a brew in the morning. Near to town and main facilities. Plumbing in bathroom. Shower tray drains slowly and the sink. That is my only downside observation.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - The location was great. Bed too small and it seems a bit dated.
- Lilley (5/5): Great find but needs a good clean - Location great, right near beach and only 15 minutes walk to main shops. Quiet street. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bit tired in places and could do with a good clean.
- Liam (9/5): Superb -
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (7/5): Decent apartment, but if you go in Winter be warned. - Spacious apartment in a good central location The heating was non existent, and wasn't on the whole time we were there. I had to go out and buy a fan heater.
- Lesley (10/5): Cosy, good selection on tv, nice and warm, would stay again and would recommend. - Very cosy, easy access to property, communication excellent by email, everything u needed good location. The bathroom sink was slow to empty maybe a blockage?
- Pat (10/5): Exceeded my expectations the flat was tastefully decorated very nice and had everything we neede - So easy to get in the property and collect the keys
- Helen (10/5): Immaculate accommodation - Immaculately clean and well equipped. The location and parking was excellent. It provided everything we needed. Nothing
- Andy (7/5): Short betwixmas stay - Bed very comfy, room
nice and spacious. Shower dodgy, almost got scolded when temp rose without touching controls. Seating in lounge area could be improved.
- Louise (6/5): Was fine for 2 nights but wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer due to noise. Bathroom small and only just enough equipmen - The location for visiting family. Clean and reasonable facilities. Could have done with more cutlery and a baking tray. It was quite noisy as someone had their tv on all night. No parking available as although 4 spaces, the two cars there were so badly parked over 2 spaces each, we couldn’t use it. Perhaps the spaces should be numbered to we could have asked the drivers to move them
- Revd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (10/5): I’m back again next week. Enough said 😂👍 - Perfect, clean, smart ideally situated from my work in Blackpool Nothing
- Tony (6/5): Lovely break. Nice flat but cold. - The room was cold.
- Baljit (9/5): Superb - Beautiful clean and cute flat. We had a superior flat with a balcony. The location was good with the town centre not far. Kitchen had everything needed Nothing we didn't like, only thing I had to raise on first night was heating because we couldn't find the heating switch and it was cold for us all night. However management confirmed it is centrally controlled and changed out heat settings which was nice. Thank you
- Rishit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayne (10/5): Brilliant -
- Gretchen (10/5): Lovely holiday flat comfy bed beautifully decorated - Lovely location . N/a
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Everything it was clean warm and nicely set out Only had one sofa
- Gillian (8/5): Very good - We loved the front room very spacious and kitchen was lovely with balcony Bed way too small could easily fit a king size in there. Toilet weird layout being down steps and furthest away. Toilet should of been first and shower after
- Bryan (9/5): Cute flat in a great location - Location was excellent walking distance to a lovely parade of shops with nice eateries. Parking was available. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed. The sofa is a little uncomfortable.
TBH, I didn't notice the note about the payment metre for the electricity, so I would like that to be a bit more prominent in the advertising. Having said that, someone had put money in the metre, which meant we didn't need to (we used less than £1 for a 2 night stay)
- Kay (8/5): lovely stay - super location. close to local shops and the beach. very clean and warm flat. the bed was very comfortable. there's ample plug sockets, and lots of extras like washing up liquid, teatowel and proper sized cups etc. the shower was very small and almost impossible to use properly. the stairs to the flat were a chore (I walk with a stick and had to stop halfway for a breath, but the owners weren't to know that) and the parking is very tight
