• Adam (8/5): Good rate and breakfast - Great hotel and room. Experience slightly tainted by the huge group that bowled in as we were checking in. Very rude, loud and self important. Poor coffee at breakfast ... perhaps get a half decent machine.
• Stacey (7/5): Clean rooms, friendly staff and a great location, however the uncomfortable bed made sleeping difficult during our stay. - The staff were friendly and it was reassuring having reception staffed 24/7. The rooms were clean and the location was convenient and close to everything we needed. Overall the stay was okay, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable. After sleeping on it for three nights we woke up each morning with a sore back and body aches, which really impacted the quality of the stay. A more supportive mattress would make a big difference for future guests.

They replaced it when asked the following day with one that was far too short so that water went all over the floor. Indian man in reception was rude. Hallways need vacueming. Breakfast is pretty good and the wsit staff are friendly and helpful. The accessible rooms ( wheelchair) are a good size. I stayed 5 nights. And although I've stayed here 4 times for usually a week at a time I probably won't be back.

• aaronw218 (10/5): Great stay in Brisbane - Stayed here for a few days in July. The rooms were clean and small. All the rooms are the same size so my family of 4 needed 2 rooms. They did a good job of making the rooms look bigger than they are. The morning breakfast was the highlight! Coming from the U.S. I wasn’t expecting much but I was greatly surprised. There was a huge spread of food every morning, fresh eggs, a potato, breakfast beans, a meat, yogurts, fresh fruits, and beverages. It was a great start to a day of walking and traveling around the area. If you have a vehicle, the car park is a tight squeeze if you have a van. The lobby has a small bar if you need a night cap. If we ever get back to Brisbane, I would stay here again.

Not a good selection of hot food, inconsistent selections (porridge one day, not available the next). Very basic and I didn't have a great start to my day as a result. the eggs were rubbery and there was no other protein option.
