• Patrick (10/5): Wunderschönes kleines Juwel in Uluwatu - Die Unterkunft ist nahezu perfekt. Wunderschöne und gepflegte Anlage, unglaublich freundliches Personal und schönes Zimmer (wooden cottage). Ausserdem war das Frühstück sehr gut, wenn auch etwas wenig Abwechslung. Beispielsweise eine Variante mit Granola und Joghurt wäre noch schön, anstelle nur Eier. Aktuell sehr lärmig aufgrund diverser Grossbaustellen rundherum. Und ausserdem gibt es gleich nebenan einen Beachclub, von welchem ab ca. 15 Uhr laute Musik hinüberdröhnt. Aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts, ist aber gut zu wissen. Aufgrund der Happy Hour und des günstigen Alkohols, spüren sich die Gäste manchmal nicht mehr und es kann zu regelrechten Saufgelagen im Pool kommen (selber erlebt). Der Höhepunkt war, als IM Pool geraucht wurde. Da erwarte ich ein Eingreifen des Hotelmanagements, was leider nicht passiert ist.

The views from the garden over the coast are fantastic, and the pool allows you to cool off overlooking the sea. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. It's about 5 min walk into town along some quiet dark roads/dirt track.

• Tess (9/5): Amazing stay at Uluwattu Cottage - The Hotel is perfectly located in the area we like the most in Ukuwatu and the infinity pool with the view on the ocean is definitly the hilight of our staying. The staff is absolutly adorable, everyone is extremly nice and always helpful. Our last day we only left at evening time, and we could enjoy the pool and facilities all day and they even made a shower available for us with fresh towels. The only down point is the room we had felt a bit old, and would need some refreshement to keep up with the standard of the hotel. But we really loved our stay there. Also the foos was delicious, breakfast was super good and everything.

Our breakfast was always delicious and the staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. We loved that there weren't too many guests, it felt cosy and we enjoyed that it was quiet and peaceful. The view was spectacular, the grounds were kept very well and location wise, it was nice and close to restaurants and convenience stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again soon!! The bed was a little bit harder than preferred (but only for one of us). That said, you can't please everyone and it was perfectly fine really, I'm clutching at straws to say what I didn't like.

• Elaine (10/5): Our stay was the perfect blend of relaxation, stunning views, and warm hospitality. - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Uluwatu Cottages and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The property is incredibly calming. It truly feels like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Bali, while still being conveniently close to everything you need. The views are breathtaking, perched on the cliff, and the sunsets each evening were immaculate - definitely a highlight of our stay. The location in Pecatu is ideal, with plenty of great restaurants, shops, and beach clubs nearby. We especially recommend walking to Single Fin for a sunset drink or meal. The staff were exceptional. They were so attentive, kind, and welcoming. There’s such a positive and relaxed vibe throughout the resort, which really made the experience special. The rooms were very comfortable, with a cosy bed and great water pressure in the shower. We even had a few cheeky monkeys visit in the morning, but staff handled them quickly so they weren’t a bother at all. Breakfast each day was fantastic. You could choose a main meal, along with a fruit platter, with either French toast or a pancake as a starter. On top of that, you get a fresh fruit juice and your choice of coffee or tea. The little touches didn’t go unnoticed either, like fresh towels and bottled water provided daily. The pool area was beautiful and very clean, and it was clear the staff take great pride in maintaining the grounds. Everything was kept in immaculate condition. Overall, an incredible stay. We will absolutely be back! The walk home after dark wasn’t ideal as there was no lighting. We just ordered a Grab to drive us back if it was late.

• Suresh (8/5): Relaxing Stay - We stayed here for 3 nights. Location: Great location overlooking the sea though there are no steps to go down to the water (no beach access). One might think that the view out to the sea is towards the West; however, that is not so. Due to the lay of the tip of the land here, the view is a little towards the North-West. The grounds of the hotel are kept clean at all times. Staff: Very courteous and helpful. Bed: Firm and comfortable. Room: Decent sized room with a separate dressing area + wash basin, with a connecting door to the shower & WC. Restaurant: Decent food options though rather limited for vegetarians. Wi-fi: Was good. Pool: Was good. Fresh towels were made available in our room daily. Air-condtioning: I think the air-conditioner in our room was not sized properly for the area to be cooled. It took a rather long time for our room to be cooled. Lighting in the dressing area: Was very poor. There was no light over the mirror above the wash basin making shaving rather difficult. Bathroom cleanliness: Could have been better. Water in the shower area took a fairly long time to drain away. I did complain to the housekeeping staff. They tried to do something about it but it did not help very much - I think it is a basic design issue. Access: The hotel is situated about 300 metres from the main road. This path is bumpy, unmetalled and a bit steep at a couple of locations (not easy to pull your luggage along); however, Grab (taxi) cars can come right up to the Hotel Reception. There are, though, quite a few convenience stores and eating places along the main road. Surcharge for Credit Card payment: While checking in, we were informed that the hotel would charge us 3% extra if were to settle our bills using credit cards. Booking.com's Reservation Confirmation never mentioned anything about a surcharge should customers prefer to settle their bills using credit cards (the normal payment mode for most people). Where relevant, it would be helpful to mention this fact upfront to customers to enable them to plan accordingly.

You get what you pay for, it's not super cheap but compared to some of the other resorts near by you can call this a budget version. Make sure you book the suites otherwise the other rooms are really budget style. One of the best resort/hotel breakfasts for sure, the french toast side was a 10/10. The bathrooms were not as clean as you would expect and had a smell. I would say its a little pricey for what you get, but in Uluwatu you are very limited.

• Maik (10/5): It really is a highlight in Uluwatu. - We had a wonderful time at Uluwatu Cottages. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. The room was clean and modern. The room’s location was brilliant, with everything within easy reach. The pool, with its comfortable loungers, and the covered loungers are particularly worth mentioning. Breakfast was an absolute highlight. It wasn’t a buffet, but that didn’t bother us at all. The quality was really good. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Scooter hire at fair prices right at the accommodation. We can highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The only thing is that the road leading there is in very poor condition, but that doesn’t really bother us.

• Yuxin (10/5): 非常漂亮的酒店！环境和员工都很棒！ - 非常好！这家酒店在乌鲁瓦图的悬崖上，酒店环境很棒，有非常漂亮的泳池和草坪，悬崖边设置了围栏和座椅，可以坐在悬崖边一边喝饮料一边看海景，不用出酒店就能欣赏漂亮的悬崖海景！ 早餐也很棒，非常丰盛，西式和印尼风味都有，选择非常丰富，而且口味也很好！厨师手艺很棒！ 员工也非常友好，特别感谢的一点是因为前一天下雨，我们的鞋湿了，于是我们趁下午出太阳把鞋拿到草坪上晒，然后出去吃饭了。没想到吃完饭突然下大雨，怕鞋子又被淋湿所以我们急忙赶回来，发现有酒店员工已经帮忙把鞋子收起来了，不知道是哪位员工帮的忙，真的很感谢! 唯一的不足是从大路进到酒店需要走一段破破烂烂的小路，一旦下雨会非常难走。

• Carrie and Doug (9/5): Highly Recommend Uluwatu Cottages - I loved everything about Uluwatu Cottages. The room was beautiful, and right beside the ocean view cliffs. The pool was clean, and had comfortable lounging. The staff were very friendly, and food was good. Happy Hour was a pleasant surprise. The beds were firm, but that's personal preference. The road coming into the facility was quite rugged but theres lost of construction coming into that area, so thats of no fault of the facility.

The location is exceptional, with unforgettable ocean views. It is very peaceful, with no construction nearby, which makes the atmosphere truly relaxing. The garden design is beautiful and well maintained, and the pool is impressive in both size and layout. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is delicious and even more enjoyable with the stunning view — definitely not to be missed. The staff are pleasant and welcoming, creating a very warm atmosphere. Nothing — everything exceeded my expectations.

Nightclub and construction site next door, not quiet at any time. Restaurant food is pretty bad, not sure what the other reviews are talking about. Geckos and geckos poop in the room, thankfully the staff was great and got us another room.

• Inge (10/5): De ideale plek om tot rust te komen - Goed gelegen, vlak bij strand, winkels en restaurants, maar vooral met een prachtig zicht op zee. Comfortabele ligbedjes aan het zwembad, gezellige houten cottage met een eigen overdekt terrasje en fantastische service. Ontbijt en lunch waren top! Voor ons de afsluiter van onze reis in Bali en de ideale plek om nog even helemaal tot rust te komen. De kamer en het restaurant waren heel proper, maar de hygiëne van het sanitair aan het restaurant kan beter.

• Iulian (10/5): - The highlight was the great infinity-style pool, clean and great for pictures. It's located in a lovely garden, next to a small temple and above some very scenic steep cliffs. Walking distance to Suluban Beach and Thomas Beach, short ride to other nice beaches and Uluwatu Temple. The rooms are large and clean too, comfortable beds. Restaurant is good value for money, tasty food and of course very polite and friendly staff. Bathroon looked a bit dodgy, could use some renovation.
