• Doug (2/5): I will definitely not be back and will never receommend this place to anyone. - The location and the decor was pleasant The incredibly uncomfortable bed The staff who had no idea what they were doing At R2400 per night (BED ONLY) this is an absolute rip off The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in! It might as well have been a wooden board. The total lack of privacy in the bathroom. I walked into the TV mounting bracket twice, perfectly positioned at head height. The second time drew blood! R180 per head for breakfast is a violation! To then get coffee with the grounds in the mug (excuse - I didn't know it was not instant coffee) and my wife finishing her breakfast before mine arrived is ridiculous. Use some of the money you are fleecing to buy a 2nd omelet pan! Having to teach the duty "manager" how to use the Yoco terminal as she was "unfamiliar" with this type of device.

• Clare (10/5): What a gem of a place. We will be back! - What a gem of a place. Location and setting perfect. Facilities top notch. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or kind. Our room opening into the garden was gorgeous. Lots of lovely little touches that made our stay perfect - think toiletries, turn down service with little choccies, milk in fridge, towels for the pool and much much more. The whole place was very secure, clean, light and spacious. This place is a gem. Highly recommend. And the owners and staff - simply lovely! We will be back.

We didn’t have breakfast there due to our plans but it all worked fine for our trip - Location was great as it was near our family who live in Durbanville. Property was very clean and the A/C worked very well. Staff were friendly, pool was nice although was a little green rather than blue There was so much furniture in the communal areas which I felt impacted the “flow” and potential spaciousness of the property. Personally I’d get rid of some of the random chairs / tables and open up the space a little more effectively. The pool could have been cleaner

Curtains did not provide block out as sun came up in morning. A few too many “Knick knacks” and odds and ends around.

• Shaun (10/5): Wonderful and beautiful stay - A hidden little gem in the peaceful surroundings. The rooms are exquisite like the whole interior design that makes you feel warm and welcome. A truly beautiful property. We had a wonderfully comfortable room that opened up directly into the garden, so tranquil and relaxing. The staff are very welcoming and keen to help your stay be amazing which it was. The food was fantastic and very tasty. I will definitely be booking this guest house again. Nothing, everything was perfect.

The kitchenette area in our room were also nice for heating up food. The rechargable lights for loadshedding. I did struggle to find plugs in the room to charge my phone. The plugs were covered behind the bed and the rest were in use. There were rechargable lights and bulbs but it was not fully charged and went flat quickly. The decor of the guesthouse quite cluttered.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice cousy boutique hotel located in a South African villa. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is perfectly made to order in a nice open "home" kitchen. Very enjoyable and relaxing environment. Although I stayed very short, I did enjoy my stay and I would be inclined to stay here again.
