• Cat (4/5): Good location, poor WiFi, no air con if one person in room - Location was great for the train station but the accommodation wasn’t all that clean. They also refused to put the air on on for one person. Next to a busy road so quite noisy (but to be expected with the location so close to the train). Staff were pleasant and helpful. They didn’t put the air con on for one person and it wasn’t very clean. WiFi was terrible

• Linda (7/5): Fine for 1 night. - Good location close to the bus stand and 15 minutes walk to the temple of the tooth. Not many places to eat close to the guest house better to walk into the centre of town. Staff were friendly Rooms are okay . Could do with a kettle in the room. Bathroom a little old. The road is noisy and there is a mosque very close so you are woken early with prayers

• Lisa (9/5): highly recommend!!!!! - we really love old buildings, like this 100 years old hotel. beautiful colorful windows and doors, no moldy smell, we had a double room and could see to the building parallel to the main street, so not directly to the main street. comfy bed and clean bathroom, really nice staff. would definitely recommend it and come again. if we would have had more time, we would have also cooked ourselves in the kitchen and would have enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard!! lovely decorates with plants!! unfortunately the coffee tasted moldy.. and that was not the first time here in sri lanka. i assume the weather is soo humid, that coffee powder is getting wet and moldy.. should be changed more often. not healthy at all.

• Joanne (10/5): Trustful and safe place. - The people were very kind with me. Trustful and openminded. I highly recommend this place. I was sick and they took care of me, made me tea, brought me to the doctor, and helped me to manage my activities. Always good advices and wonderful company. I’ll miss Rohan’s company !! The room was a little bit noisy because of the street but was okay.
• Lopez (8/5): Normal Hostel, Outstanding Staff - Super lovely staff, comfortable beds, and large lockers to leave your stuff. The toilets were clean, the downstairs smoke area was nice to chill out in :) I got the room next to the road so it was very loud and a wake-up call from the street could be heard at 4:30 am every day. Make sure to ask for a more interior room.

• Francesca (7/5): - The staff was helpful and always available. The location ia good, you can walk to the center and the room was clean. The only thing is that our room had no windows to the outside and the air conditioner was super loud.

• Anais (8/5): bien pour une nuit de transit, proche de la gare - L’emplacement proche de la gare et du centre ville, le lit très confortable, l’accueil ok du propriétaire, pas de bruit dans la chambre, très bien pour une nuit de passage à Kandy - Petite odeur de renfermé dans le hall d’accueil mais pas du tout dans la chambre. - Chambre RDC sans fenêtre mais au moins pas de bruit car donne dans la cour intérieur donc très bien ! - Un peu de moisissures au plafond de la salle de bain mais pas gênant car propreté nickel dans le reste de la salle de bain et la chambre.
• Monier (10/5): Super nuit à Kandy - La façade du logement est très jolie, bien entretenu. La chambre était plutôt spacieuse, munie d’une climatisation fonctionnelle, de l’eau chaude dans la douche. Le propriétaire est très gentil et accueillant. Il nous a donné de bons conseils pour les activités que nous avons fait dans la ville.

• Despina (7/5): - In a good location. It’s ok for a night layover. The room was dirty, from the ceiling to the fan etc., when I wanted to shower there was no hot water despite turning on the heater, the beds should have curtains for more privacy.

• Lorenzo (4/5): - Enige pluspunt was dat er een goede douchestraal was voor Sri Lanka’s begrippen. Kamer was ook erg ruim. Geen hygiënische plek overal stof en viezigheid. Het lag aan een super drukke weg. Erg gehorig, dit kwam ook dat we beneden bij de ingang lagen met de kamer. Volgens de eigenaar was het parkeren gratis echter moesten we bij uitrijden bij parkeerplaats toch betalen dit naast het hotel ligt.

Świetna lokalizacja, ciepła woda i klimatyzacja Dobre restauracje blisko i bazar a do dworca kolejowego ok 10-15min pieszo Dostaliśmy pokój bez okien na zewnątrz natomiast okna prowadziły do holu z recepcja i te najwyższe były otwarte i nie dało się ich zamknąć. Przez to słyszeliśmy dosłownie każde słowo z rozmów aż do 23 no i także czuliśmy lekkie skrępowanie ze nas też może być słychać

L'albergo è sporco, non è accogliente ed è vecchissimo. La ciliegina sulla torta sono gli infissi inesistenti in modo da seguire l'andamento dei richiami della moschea adiacente (in particolare quelli delle 4.30 am). Si sentono rumori provenienti dalla strada, dalle camere vicine così come anche da un bagno posto sul piano (i rumori sembravano disumani).

El propietari és molt amable i té moltes ganes d'ajudar tot el que sigui possible. Possibilitat de deixar l'equipatge en sortir. Net i en bones condicions. Aigua calenta disponible. L'habitació no tenia finestra a l'exterior.

• Mohammed (1/5): - The owner of the property is totally rude and doesn't allow to go outside at 9:30 p.m. There are four toilets but he closed all only one is open and that's the situation is very bad. In bathroom I found ladies p****** I feel this is one kind of jail. He has no American Express card machine, he only accepts cash and Visa or MasterCard. There is no money exchange shop and ATM both nearby the Villa or cottage.

The host was very kind and helpful gave us very useful tips and made our trip easier. The location was very good. It's close to the train station and less than 20min walking to the city centre Water pressure could be better and hot water also.

Assez sommaire cependant. - Nous y avons séjourné deux fois une nuit, pour faire un point d'étape car les transports sont lents au Sri Lanka. Grande chambre familiale, propre avec bon emplacement géographique. Pas d'eau chaude, comme dans de nombreux hôtels.

• Agathe (7/5): Pratique pour un passage rapide mais bruyant - La chambre est propre et l'hôtel est situé proche de la gare. C'est idéal pour un lieu de passage rapide et pas cher. Les fenêtres ne sont pas isolées donc on entend beaucoup le bruit extérieur : beaucoup de circulation même la nuit dans la rue devant l'hôtel et appel à la prière à 4h30 du matin car il y a une mosquée pas loin.
