• Murat (8/5): Allgemein ist es Gut - Besonders das Frühstück war sehr Auswahlsreich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch diese Sauberkeit war sehr gut. Im Hotelzimmer durfte geraucht werden und leider ging der Gestank von Zigaretten nicht weg. Für Raucher ist der Hotel gut geeignet.

• Rayan (7/5): Good - I stayed one night only. The hotel is clean, good for work not for leisure. Affordable. The area is safe we arrived at 2am. The food is nice. The staff is good also. The smoke smell in the room, when you open the window you will see the pipes or other building. You cant get fresh air inside. But there are some rooms with city view which was full during my stay.

• Janet (8/5): Comfortable stay. Easy to get around using minibuses. - Breakfast good. Clean room. Cleaning women came first thing and asked what you wanted doing. Good lift. No English spoken which isn’t unusual in Turkey. Tricky when you need info.

• Roland (8/5): - Ein schönes, großes Zimmer mit Wasserkocher, täglich 1 Liter Wasserflasche und Tee, Kühlschrank und Kasten mit vielen Kleiderhaken! Sehr gut! Das Bad für diesen Preis sehr gut! Das Frühstück war typisch Türkisch - sehr gut! Derzeit wird gegenüber vom Hotel die neue Metrostation gebaut, daher ein wenig Lärm. Zur Dolmus bzw Busstation nördlich und südlich des Hotels ca. 3min Fußweg - perfekt. Es fahren viele Busse über dem Bahnhof entlang des Meeres zum Forum. Der einzige Nachteil dieses Hotels ist die Unfreundlichkeit des Personals. Die Dame bei der Rezeption und die sehr nette ältere Putzfrau grüßt kein Angestellter, nicht einmal, wenn ich zuerst grüße! Ich fühlte mich nicht wie ein Gast! Sehr schade, weil sonst wäre dieses Hotel ausgezeichnet!

The Presentation of the food 🍱 🥒look good, NO fresh 🍉 🍏🍓🍇🍌,or greens 🥬 🥝 white reads. The 🥖 basket 🧺 A Brown towel on top White towel on the bottom it had Blake mold had NOT been cleaned 🧼, 😧🤢.the place mats Disgusting there Filthy they did NOT CLEAN 🧼 🧽. they put Civil War on them without a napkin I picked it up and seen all the crumbs and dried food that soup through them I did not wipe them down in a week we were there or disinfect them. Terry&Le Terflinger.Ps the The linens were like burlap bags no top sheet just the bottom sheet on the mattress. WOW Will NOT go BACK.

Je n'ai reçu aucune réponse à ce jour.

• Mandy (8/5): Comfortable Hotel with really lovely staff - The staff at the Sultan Hotel are all really helpful and kind. Nothing was too much for them. I visited on holiday with a friend and stayed a week with 2 nights away on a trip. We were the only women in the hotel. After spending the first night in a room at the front, which was very noisy from the street outside, I moved to a smaller double room at the back of the hotel which was cooler but got the noise from the cafe on the opposite corner, which went on until the early hours. The room was comfortable, with a little mini bar fridge and an en-suite shower room and the lovely chamber maids gave me clean sheets every day and kept the room spotless. The thick curtains kept daylight out and prevented people in the hotel opposite my room from seeing in. Breakfast is a buffet...avoid the orange juice which is Sunny Delight. Different cheese, fresh bread and savoury pastries, olives, cooked vegetables or eggs, chips and salad leaves. A variety of spreads, butter, honey and jam .There is chai or Nescafe with powdered milk.

• HeathfieldChiswick (6/5): Unexciting - A fairly modern hotel, convenient for the Otogar, but with not much else to recommend it. It's some distance from the main part of the city, closer to the port/industrial areas. The rooms are comfortable enough, but showing some signs of wear and lack of maintenance (especially the shower rooms). There was adequate free W-Fi, and a just about adequate breakfast; but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
• bella1645 (10/5): A Hotel with a Manager worth his weight in Gold - 6 of us all living in Turkey with a great deal of experience of hotels all over Turkey . Decided to spend a few days in Mersin ( ideal for shopping ) the hotel of our choice was to be the Sultan having read the great reviews . Price was perfect and as we were traveling by Bus ( the best way to travel in Turkey ) the hotel was no more than a 100 meters from the bus station .I had contacted Mr Ali the manager to ask if it would be ok for us to arrive early as we were traveling overnight . From that first telephone conversation I realized this gentleman was 100% professional and I was not wrong . From our arriving to departing the service was second to none . The hotels personal will compete with any 5 star hotel in Turkey albeit a international business hotel room this does not detract from a feeling of home from home , Beds , Bedding , shower , and breakfast all go to making this the perfect place for you to stay if you vist Mersin if only passing through . I am sure it will not be our last visit to the Sultan . Thank you Mr Ali and your incredible staff .
• meltemManchester (10/5): home from home - Travelling as a group of 6 ladies we were made so welcome by the Manager, Ali Bey and his staff. They made certain that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. Ali Bey went beyond the norm, giving us excellent advice re restaurants etc. The hotel is adjacent to the Otogar and is a welcoming oasis at the end of a long journey.
• lindap915 (10/5): Wow - This is a great hotel in a location close to the Otogar and has easy access to all areas of Mersin. I was there recently with a group of friends, The manager Mr Ali and his staff made our visit most memorable with their cheerfulness and helpfulness, absolutely nothing was to much trouble for them. I will definitely return.
• Primrose2014 (10/5): A great experience - I decided to book a room at the Sultan Hotel based on the reviews I had read and I was not disappointed. From the moment I was met at the airport, the service was excellent all the way. At no point in time did I feel unsafe in the hotel although I was a female travelling alone. The room was of good size with a comfortable bed and fresh smelling sheets and above all the room was clean. The internet connection was also good, which to me was very important. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant and the spread was adequate with an assortment of breads, cereals, fruits, spreads, cheeses and hot items such as eggs and sausages. There is an outdoor terrace where you can have your meal or a drink. All of the staff was helpful, polite and went out of their way to assist in every way. The manager of the hotel, Mr Ali, speaks very good English and has a very positive attitude. He is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond the call of duty. He is unlike any hotel manager I have met, no problem was too difficult to solve and no question was left unanswered. The hotel is situated opposite a bus terminal which makes it convenient for those travelling to other parts of Turkey. It is also easy to catch a cab just outside the hotel if you need one. There are small cafes close to the hotel where you can have a meal and there is also a small pastry shop a few doors away from the hotel where you can buy good tasting Turkish pastries. This is the most hospitable hotel I have stayed in and it was a wonderful experience. If you ever find yourself in Mersin, I recommend staying at the Sultan Hotel.***** Hotel yang sangat bagus. Staf sopan dan suka menolong, terutama manajer hotel, Pak Ali, siapa yang ramah dan sangat baik. Sarapan yang baik, ruangan besar dan bersih. Hotel ini berlawanan terminal bus. • TameemY (6/5): An average hotel with large rooms - Location is not in the middle of the city but it is good if you are using the bus station. Very friendly and helping staffs but with a very limited english speaking abilities. Clean rooms but some stains in carpets .Some bath rooms needs renovation . Breakfast is less than average but it is ok .Restaurant is small.
