Carlette (10/5): Heel erg fijn, relaxed and rustig. - Het appartement was geweldig ingericht, gezellig en met aandacht. Het was er schoon, en het bed sliep heerlijk. Het terras was voor ons het grote pluspunt. Heerlijk om tijdens de middag rustig te vertoeven. Ook Cinzia onze host, was zeer hulpvaardig, aardig en gaf ons alle tips die handig waren voor ons. Het was echt erg fijn om bij Il Giardino te verblijven. Niets, alles was goed!

kevin (5/5): Mixed feelings - Property needs some extra care and renovation - The quiteful and peaceful location, the fact that we got another room when we announced that we would end our stay early, the big terrace, shops nearby We booked the ‘Superior Studio’ but that room shouldn’t be rented out anymore. The studio is extremely damp. In the bathroom, the paint is peeling everywhere, some tiles have come off due to the humidity, and in some places there is even mold. We slept there for one night and felt half sick. When we wanted to cancel the rest of our stay and look for another room elsewhere, we were eventually offered to take a different room. Although the owner told us that she wouldn’t rent out this room anymore, it is still bookable on Booking.com. Those other two separate rooms were much better, but even there you can see slight signs of dampness, and in one of the rooms there is only 2 minutes of lukewarm/half-warm water. The terrace is large, and between the apartment buildings you even have a view of Mount Etna, but of the two sun loungers that were there, one had completely sagged and was unusable. This place has — or had — a lot of potential, but it now clearly needs a thorough renovation first.
