James (5/5): Only stay here if you want something cheap and close to the bar area of streets 130 and 136 - The location and roof top bar (although the draft beer wasn’t very good and no bottles In the room the telly, phone and safe don’t work. The balcony was tiny with no furniture. Had a cockroach in my bathroom. There were no food facilities anymore.

Matthew (2/5): Disappointing 4,night stay - Good location if you want to be where all the bars are. However hotel itself was disappointing and look tired and at the point of closing down. In my room none of the telly, phone or fridge worked. The safe too had no batteries and I had to request a key to manually close. The roof top bar was nice but the beer awful! No food options either any more for breakfast or in the roof top bar. Hotel was cheap but more like a hostel than a hotel. Had to share my bathroom with a cockroach. My advice is stay somewhere else!

Satyadip (4/5): Friends book it and I wouldn’t stay there ever. - Roof top bar. Bathroom was quite dirty. Pictures on website of hotel doesn’t match actual hotel. Very deceiving. Also I asked for airport pickup and no show. Had to grab it. No hand soap in washroom. Phone in room doesn’t work. Towels were very dirty and had holes in them. Plus they will give you only two bath towels and no more even if you ask. Elevator didn’t work one day.

Only issue was kitchen closes at 10pm. Not clean. 90% of time the towels had rip stains and smell. Take your own towels. No hand soap. Plus they will not give you extra towels.

Francisco (1/5): Dirty room, air and toilet not working - Bed was comfortable They gave a dirty room, with the bed dirty,, toilet with dirty towels, no toilet paper, dirty cups with coffee from other guest, they did not clean my room and I had to ask them to please clean my room before giving me the key, finally they did clean it but toilet did not work and water was coming out to the floor, the air conditioning was not working very hot in the room.

Browney (7/5): Right in the middle of the city. If you're looking for nightlife action this is good. - The hotel was very centrally located. Near the river. Near many bars and restaurants. Not far from the markets. If you are looking for a room right in the midst of Phnom Penh madness then this is a good choice. Don't expect luxury for the money, The room was clean and comfortable but the TV didn't work and there were some other small maintenance issues but I'm not here to tell the hotel their business.

Receptionist attitude and English level is low. He sold the bus ticket, but he did not book my expectated time and never change it.

Westt (9/5): Amazing comfortable and affordable location. - The guest rooms offer exceptional views of the river as well as City Views. The hotel is in a great location for food, shopping or just strolling along the river in the mornings and evenings. The Hotel also has a great laidback rooftop lounge. All of the experience was made better by Ms Ruth with Her exemplary customer service spirit and Her bilingual skills brought it all together. Thanh’s Ruth The only thing that comes to mind was leaving.

The location during the day its perfect, close to main turist atractions, markets and bus stops but at night its a little bit noisy and the bars around are mostly offering girls kind of bar.

William (7/5): Not a bad place if you can get a quiet room. - Great location close to many bars and restaurants. Very near the Riverside Walking area. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant with views of the river and city. Very comfortable bed. If you get a room facing the street it is very noisy at night due to the loud music coming from the bars. No fault of the hotel. Also the room I was originally given had an air conditioner that made so much noise I couldn’t sleep and I asked to change rooms. The desk clerk on duty that night was very helpful and I ended up changing to a better room.
Shad (7/5): Good - Nice hotel with big rooms and clean bathrooms. Location is great if you can handle the noise from the clubs nearby. Double pane windows to drown out the music from the bars, trash bags in the trash bins and a safe that actually works.

Evrim (1/5): NIGHMARE. - NOTHING this is probably the worst hotel I ever ever ever stayed in. the hotel is something totally else you see on the pictures. I arrived much earlier than expected and asked for a early check, they said I have to pay half day extra what is reasonable so I said ok. I arrive in the worst room ever. smells, so dirty, no wifi, the plugs don’t work, airco makes so much noise I can’t sleep. phone doesn’t work I try to call reception, I go out receptionist is sleeping. after I changed I told the staff about the room and they said they would check it. I come back in the evening and they said they made a mistake and gave me the wrong room (which I payed for) and they took my stuff out without asking me! to another room. I go to this ‘new’ room, it’s even worse. insects in my bed, dirty bathroom just go sleep on a bench outside, much cleaner than this hotel. I asked booking for help but still waiting for an answer.

Mark (7/5): Nice hotel just needs small improvements - location , comfy bed , good air con , room safe cleaning and restocking could be better when i stayed at hotel in 2018 it was spotless and fully stocked . the room I stayed in this time was stocked with amenities and the air fan in bathroom was full of dust , one of glasses by sink looked like it was in need of cleaning and the bedroom sheet had a tear in it . Not a lot to sort out but good to nip these things in the bud .

They had done så the aircondition not work with full effekt så the room was 27 degress warm, with full cold on 16 degrees and full speed on the fan. We should Change room but it was exacly the same problem in 2 others room. Could not use the safety box. The cooler did not work and same with the phone. The owner must have order to do so. They will save energi. The aircondmachin was rather new.

Roger (7/5): Good - The location of Point Boutique Hotel is very good, close to the riverfront, the nightmarket, restaurants and bars. The bed is very comfortable and room itself is clean. There are a few things letting the hotel down. The window blinds were broken, light switches were broken, some parts of the walls needed touching up with some paint. Overall though I was happy with my stay and would return again.

Unfortunately the bedding wasn't clean and the water from the shower came out into bathroom and soaked any towel put down. We had a 2 night stay but left after 1 night because of this.

John (4/5): Disappointing - The bed was nice and comfortable. The flat screen TV was good. The room was relatively clean. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was very large. The roof top restaurant and bar was excellent. No insects at all in the room. Very good location if you like the nightlife. The room is in need of painting. The shower did not get hot but was adequately warm. No hot water in the wash basin. Yelling and hollering throughout the night from the bars 7 floors down.(until 4 am) Towels were not always changed in the bathroom. WIFI off and on frequently.

A skybar on the 12th floor gives you a beautiful view over the Mekong River. The night clubs are easily reachable by tuktuk within a few minutes.

Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel has redemeed themselves this time. In a previous review I said I would never come back. I decided to give them another try. This time everything worked out. I had extended my stay for two days so had two separate bookings. The first room was nice. I was given a room upgrade so I was in the Junior Suite. The room was on a high floor and had a nice view. The breakfast is decent for a small hotel and was not busy. I found the staff to be helpful and polite. My second room was a Junior Suite as well. I ask to change rooms after the first day as the bathroom had a bad sewer smell coming from the pipes. It was on a lower floor and had a window, but you were too low and were looking at another building about 1m away. My new room was on the 6th floor and was much better. This stay was much better and I would come back again.
