We stayed an extra night. That room was fine, but not as beautiful as the room we had the first night.

• Yui (6/5): - 2回目の宿泊です。客室や美味しいコーヒーが飲めたりする点が気に入っていて、お部屋やお風呂では今回も気持ちよく過ごせました。 ホスピタリティが細やかではなかった点が気になりました。 夕食を楽しみにしていて、メインの前まではとても美味しくいただいたのですが、メインのお肉がいまいちでした。付け合わせのキャベツも芯の部分が硬く食べられませんでした。また、こちらの確認不足だったことが原因ではありますが、フリードリンクのような文言が書いてあるドリンクメニューを見させられて、飲み放題？みたいなことを言われたのでフリーだと思っていたのに、結局有料だった点も残念でした。 夜中にどうしてもなことがありフロントに電話をかけましたが、5回くらいかけてやっと繋がりました。もし夜間は連絡が繋がらない時間帯があるのであればあらかじめチェックインの際に一言欲しかったです。 高いホスピタリティを求めるのであればここではないのかなと今回感じました。

Благодаря транспортной доступности до отеля легко добраться: всего 5 миру от остановки автобуса. Отель расположен в густом лесу, на территории дорожки для прогулок и масса удобств: Онсен, в том числе, с бассейном на улице, кострище, гамаки и пр. Отель предлагает угощения в течение всего дня: кофе, снэки, саке. Великолепный вид на горы, в частности, с номера с печью. Определено рекомендую.

One of the best breakfast buffets ever. Food was refined and freshly made. The gift of custom socks to guests was a nice quirky touch. Practical and memorable. Reliance on staff who did not necessarily communicate effectively in English though they were hired to serve foreign guests.

• Stefan (7/5): Nur was für Naturfreunde - Das Hotel liegt in einem schönen Park, bzw. Waldgebiet, liegt allerdings sehr abseits. Zumindest gibt es einen gut funktionierenden Fahrdienst der einen bis zur nächsten Bushaltestelle bringt. Zurück muss man allerdings eine ganze Strecke bergauf laufen. Die Lounges und das Restaurant sind erstaunlich gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereich. Das Hotel ist sehr weit außerhalb und bietet kaum irgendwelche Unterhaltungsmöglichkeit, nicht einmal einen Fernseher im Zimmer. Um 21 Uhr machen das Restaurant und die Bars dicht. Bis zur nächsten Bushaltestelle läuft man ca. 20 Minuten und dann fährt man nochmals ca. 30 Minuten bis zur Stadt in der abends auch nicht viel los ist. Also insgesamt eher was für Verliebte oder absolute Naturfreunde. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und spartanisch ausgestattet, besitzen den Charme einer Jugendherberge. Wenigstens sind sie sauber. Das Restaurant ist recht gut, allerdings gab es während der 3 Tage immer nur das gleiche und einzige Menü. Ärgerlich, da es in der näheren Umgebung keine Alternativen gibt. Das hauseigene Onsen besteht eigentlich nur aus einem kleinen schmucklosen Becken.

Private onsen was incredible and buffet breakfast was fantastic. Also loved the cafe which was open for long hours. Большие комнаты с минималистичным дизайном. Хороший онсен Нам не повезло с погодой - лил дождь. И на лестнице образовалась грязная лужа. Мы все в белой обуви, приходилось туда наступать. Учитывая высокий уровень заботы о гостях я думаю что-то придумают, чтобы лужа не скапливалась

• HoHsi (8/5): Overall, we had a pleasant stay and there were many things we truly appreciated about this property. The reception buil - Reception building and the cafe building is beautiful The main downside of this stay was the lack of power outlets in the room. There were very few outlets overall, and especially none around the bedside area, which made it quite inconvenient. Another point was the bathroom design. Considering the price, the setup was not very satisfactory. It’s quite unusual to see the shower area and toilet separated by a zipper-style partition at this price level, and it felt more like a much more basic accommodation. Given the overall rate, I would suggest reconsidering and improving the bathroom design, as it does not quite match the expectations for this price range

• Bakker-Arkema (10/5): Hakone Retreat was a tranquil, beautiful, comfortable environment for total relaxation and peace - I loved our room. I loved the common areas in the retreat. I loved the complimentary socks and the pajamas and jacket. The food was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The feel of the property was unique, peaceful, and inviting. I wish there had been a cold plunge or cool pool in the Onsen. I would've been able to enjoy it for much longer! But I loved the view of the hillside.

Bellissimo l'onsen ancora più apprezzato visto che pioveva ed è stato un felice momento di relax. Lo staff è gentile e attento. Sicuramente il cibo è un punto di forza dell'hotel. • Jaf (9/5): Fantastic experience - Fantastic retreat with incredible surroundings and facilities. Beautiful location and great onsen. The staff were very friendly and inviting. Easy access to Gora and other sites on Hakone Loop. Supermarket and restaurants are a 15 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this place. The rooms had a lot of scuff marks especially in the bedroom. Probably needs some renovation but it doesn’t take away from an otherwise great experience.

• PAULA (9/5): Estancia ideal. 100% recomendable - Ubicación muy cómoda para explorar la zona entre Gora, Togendai y el lago Ashi. El hotel es una maravilla e ideal para los que busquen unos días de harmonía y desconexión. Los espacios son preciosos, la habitación muy adecuada y el onsen muy agradable. También nos encantó el desayuno -muy completo y saludable- además de la cena en el restaurante que fue increíble. Nos gustó mucho el hecho de que haya una cafetería siempre abierta donde sirven café y té grais a los huéspedes, que siempre puedes acompañar de su pastelería propia. En definitiva, todo perfecto. Algunos miembros del personal no fueron profesionales.

Et établissement car c’est une nourriture fusion mais du coup sans intérêt pour nous. Onsen minuscule et sans hammam. Literie pas du tout confortable.

• Bungo (5/5): 食事については満足 - 食事は、おいしく満足しました。 林の中の建物で、小鳥などを観察できるよう工夫がなされており好感をが持てた。喫茶棟、外部での焼き芋など工夫の様子があり、宿泊客が楽しめる仕組みは 素晴らしい。部屋にテレビが置かれておらず、非日常性を楽しめた。 トイレの壁はコンクリートの打ちっぱなし、少々雑。 風呂場まで外を歩く必要があり、腰痛持ちには遠く、結局1回しか入らなかった。 風呂場の洗剤、シャンプーなどの表示が小さく読み取りにくく、なんとも不便だった。男風呂の露天への入り口の床のぬめりのため、転倒の憂き目に遭った。要改善
