All the facilities were modern and worked perfectly during my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, for a business traveller with luggage, it is not very practical to carry suitcases up and down so many stairs. This is challenging, especially for lady guests staying for work or travelling with heavier bags.

Dicks (9/5): Superb - Ella gave us a warm welcome after a long drive. The bed was absolutely super comfy and everything was immaculate clean. The Wifi was fast. The room has the most beautiful views over the city and Table Mountain and I enjoyed to see the aeroplanes approaching for landing at the airport. Thank you for a lovely stay. Although the car was parked in a mark site on the street side of the property, which was not fenced the car was safe in this quiet neighbourhood.

Karin (7/5): An okay stay for one night. - Good location and designated parking. All the outside stairs to reach the apartment! This really should be mentioned on the property details. I have a slight balance issue and this made things a lot more difficult for me , especially carrying a luggage bag. Thank goodness it wasn’t raining! The bathroom was very small and the shower floor really could do with an upgrade. Black mould ingrained in the grouting is not a good feature. The room was quite dark.

Candice (7/5): I had a pleasant stay with a lovely host; the view was delightful and the place quiet. - The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which is a win if you are there for a week. Cupboard space and TV set up were great. The aircon is both a positive and a negative: on the plus side it was lovely and cool to work in the room, especially when it was so hot outside. Although self-catering, there was tea, coffee, milk and sugar as well as biscuits to have through my stay. The kitchenette had everything I needed - a large fridge, warm plate and microwave. The view is wonderful, especially at night. Continuing from the aircon being great during the day when I was working, during the night the automatic timer turned it off every two hours and the ensuing heat in the room woke me up and I had to restart it...every two hours. So could not sleep through the night. You could also hear the little dog's paws running up and down on the floor above my room - it was not overly loud (just non-stop) and I have a dog at home so was used to it. Shower floor could do with regrouting.
Dekker (3/5): Poor - Location was great. Air conditioning didnt work in the middle of summer. When we complained we were told just to open the windows... The owner wasn't very accommodating, didn't offer any compensation or anything, even a small gesture would've sufficed. Instead we were told that we are not being forced to stay if we weren't happy.
