Full of prostitutes and the door safety was not good or secured at all people outside yelling and fighting I'm still itching
Anonymous (5/5): Scottish Inn -Balch Springs - It was clean and the location was very conveniently located near lots of shopping and restaurants. They only offer WiFi television. Nothing local which barely worked. The room was extremely hot upon arrival. We had to let the air conditioner run for a while before it was comfortable enough to sleep.

Karaissa (2/5): Worst stay ever!!!!!! - This was the worst ever. When we got in the room I noticed that the security lock on the door frame was some what loose. Well I opened the door to see if it would still work. Nope!!! The door frame was broken in 3 or 4 pieces. I told the front desk about it but was told there was nothing that he could do about. I did not feel safe in there with my daughter. I told him that but he said he couldn’t move us rooms since they were booked for the weekend. Room was disgusting like it had never been cleaned.

Jones (3/5): Waisted my time staying here - I like that the TV was a smart TV with apps and close to Walmart I didn't like that the TV was small and the volume seemed distorted. My refrigerator wasn't working when I got there and the hair dryer didn't work and the shower was making loud noises when I turned the hot water all the way on and my lamp seemed to need repairs. It seemed like some one bent and almost broke it. And the staff said they they was coming to assist me and didn't come until I called twice. Plus I had to change the refrigerator out myself and didn't get nothing in return for all the lies they said was in my room working and running right. Plus I asked for a refund after they took so long after I first arrived to check my room after I called so I couldn't get a refund

Cordova (5/5): Dirty and bring your own towels - Close to freeway and food options, Netflix on tvs Dirty red stains on walls of rest room and unidentified yellow stains on wall of closet, first room had toilet with no handle not able to flush staff asked me to pour water down it with ice bucket till I asked for new room, second room burn marks on table and the worst part was all the towels were dirty they had hair on them (which was a different color than mine ) so I was too disgusted to use them , hair on shower walls

Linda (9/5): hotel stay - asked & received a disability room - outstanding - totally assisted us, fridge worked, coffee, toiletries. phone was unplugged - found plug & then worked; tv remote was broken - took to front & got new one; weird tv set up having to use my phone to set up; only one coffee cup & it states breakfast - but no breakfast even after I reported when staying there before. please update no breakfast. no one came in for replacement of towels.
Daniel (4/5): Poor customer service, room a little shabby - When I went to check in, two guys in the office wouldn’t even look at me, much less greet me or assist me. Had to stand and watch them for about 5-10 minutes before they asked for my ID and credit card. Finally paid, but there was not even an attempt at politeness or guest service at all. Room was so-so, spacious, and relatively clean, but looked kinda rundown - shower bar looked broken and ready to fall off, pieces of plaster falling off the wall. Not the best, but I guess it was ok for the $82-$91 piece I paid.

There was plenty of towels and soap. the fridge and microwave were clean, and the room was accessible to my car, Easy to get to. The shower works well although it does take a minute to warm up I did not like the bedding it was torn and had what looked like a burn hole in it. The carpet although looked clean made the bottom of my feet black. there were stains on the walls, not excessive but they were noticeable, they do not offer breakfast even though it says on the website, there was also not Do Not Disturb sign to hang on the door.

Sherry (1/5): The overall room was fine but the nasty coffee maker, the water and internet just ruined the whole experience. - The location It took 20 to 25 minutes for the water to get hot. I was up and preparing to leave and I wanted some coffee. The coffee machine was broken and it had mold instead the coffee maker. The internet was terrible. I booked an additional night and the guy that checked me assured me I would only pay a couple dollars extra for another night. How about $20 extra. If I would have known the price difference I would have went online.

Hackworth (4/5): Horrible - Location how large the room is Immediately the front desk was rude,got to room the fridge door wouldn't stay shut the freezer is solid ice and went to front desk told her and she did nothing about it.Said that I told her that was the problem but she wasn't seeing it,then had to go.back to front desk because we didn't have remote she accused us of having one then finally gave us one,then had to go back because she gave no wifi password at check in.Then blow dryer doesn't work.

Her excuse was that she was just checking everything was OK. She did not knock 😳. She wasn't a housekeeper either. It was a complete violation of privacy. We don't know if they went in our room went we were out. Like the whole stay was uncomfortable after that.

Greg (6/5): Don’t Stay Here - Our crew rented 3 rooms for 3 nights. None of the remote controls were programmed to the TV’s. One room smelled so bad, we had to move. Breakfast was advertised but they didn’t serve breakfast. We won’t be staying at Scottish Inns again. Very disappointed.

The place is not well kept, the staff had no idea the ice machine was not working, the fridge was so iced over, was not used or possibly even cleaned in recent past. Worst of all, THE HOT WATER DIDN’T EXIST!!! Save the inconvenience and stay elsewhere.
