• TamaraK821 (10/5): Very nice hotel, close to the Bahnhof and in the Altstadt (Old Town) - We love staying at the Savoy! It was our third time staying there and will do so again. Perfect distance from the Bahnhof and in the heart of the Old Town. The two front desk receptionists are delightful, friendly, and welcoming. They serve a good breakfast buffet and the cafe is always kept clean. Our room was large and quiet, great storage and a good sized bathroom. All in all, an excellent stay!

We walked in to get them to hold our bags , as we were early for check in , but they had the room available for us to use. Extremely clean modern room, nice shower, and lovely staff. Breakfast was nice, with beautiful fresh Orange Juice. Many shops, restaurants and coop close by. Great place to stay, as we were there at Easter, they even left us Easter chocolates .
• Pascal (6/5): - Die Lage, das Personal sowie das Zimmer waren super, auch das Frühstück hat uns geschmeckt. Es gab leider ein paar Gäste im Hotel, welche sich überhaupt nicht zu benehmen wussten. Ab 4 Uhr morgens konnte niemand mehr von uns schlafen. Zudem wurden am Morgen ab ca. 5 Uhr diverse Lastwagen vom Einkaufsladen unten in der Strasse entladen, was zusätzlich so einiges an Lärm versursacht hat. Wir sind überhaupt nicht kleinlich, aber diese paar Gäste haben wohl die Zimmer ziemlich demoliert. Das Personal hat sich am morgen dafür entschuldigt, leider war für uns die Nacht aber schon gelaufen.

• Stephanie (7/5): Spacious room in the heart of Bern - The room was very spacious and modern. Enough space for two beds, a desk, closet and a large bathroom. The room was very clean! The reception and breakfast area were not that nice, very cramped into a corner. The breakfast room did not have any windows, therefore we did not have breakfast there but went elsewere. It was not appealing to us.

• Mike (10/5): Very comfortable, friendly hotel in the heart of the old town. - The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of the old town, next to the railway station and main tram lines. We had all the main sights, restaurants, bars and shops right on our doorstep. Our room at the back of the hotel was quiet, well appointed and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel and the city. We had a memorable holiday. The breakfast room was a little too quiet and reserved for our liking. We don't need noisy music, but something in the background would have provided a little more atmosphere.
• Escape16352585308 (10/5): Wonderful time at the Savoy in Bern - We spent five nights at the Savoy. It’s a very nice hotel, close to Old Town and just around the corner from the train station. The Savoy has a modern look and the rooms are pretty spacious. Everything was very clean and our bed was comfy. The bathroom has nice amenities. The staff at the Savoy are great. They’re friendly and professional and were happy to take care of anything we needed. Anna and Charles were so helpful and gave us good advice on how to get around the city, where to eat, things to do etc. And when we needed help with a small issue in our room, Charles made sure it was taken care of immediately. Bern is a fun city to visit and it’s a good central point if you want to visit multiple cities in Switzerland- many are just an hour away on the train. And if you’re going to stay in Bern - try the Savoy!

Even before my arrival, I had a few special requests, and the team did their very best to accommodate them. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to help it created a great first impression. The reception staff were simply amazing: friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any questions I had. What I appreciated most was how easy and natural the communication felt it created a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I genuinely felt at home, even though I was far away. Housekeeping did an excellent job coming back to the room was always a pleasure. The location is another big advantage just a minute walk from the main train station in Bern. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and lovely coffee spots nearby which makes everything very convenient (especially if you traveling alone). And a special thank you for the morning pancakes….I absolutely loved them Overall, I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. Many thanks to the entire team for their professionalism and warm hospitality. If I am ever asked whether I would come back again my answer would definitely be YES !

Easy walking distance from the train station as long as you leave the platform in the correct direction, which of course we did not and did a little walking tour with our luggage around the blocks to get there. • Vacation Expert (9/5): Bern is a great weekend away from Zurich at The Savoy - The hotel front desk staff are all very friendly and welcoming as well as at breakfast. Our Comfort room was clean and spacious and quiet with the windows closed (it's on a somewhat busy street). It was an excellent choice for a weekend visit because it was comfortable, modern, and close to the train station. We paid for breakfast one day which was a good value. As expected there is a safe in the room plus a coffee maker and kettle which I always appreciate. As with all Swiss hotels, the rooms get very warm in winter, even with the heat turned off! I prefer it a bit cooler so it is good that the window can be opened. The shower had one combination bath gel, but I prefer separate shampoo and conditioner for a hotel of this class.

All of the staff were polite, helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. The room, the shower, the bed, and the amenities were all comfortable and easily available. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. We were able to see and do everything in Bern by foot as the hotel’s location is in the heart of the old town. We appreciated that the bus was available to us, should we need it. We will definitely be recommending The Savoy to friends and family as they visit this beautiful city!!

• Swisstrekkers (10/5): Wonderful hotel, excellent location! - A wonderful stay at this ideally located hotel which is just a few minutes walk from the main station but right in the heart of the old city. The hotel is immaculate throughout and the rooms have a high level of comfort with well planned bathrooms and amenities. Breakfast is buffet style and has a very good choice. The reception team are very helpful and friendly, Katrin went out of her way to help us settle in and gave excellent advice re local sights and transport. We ate at the restaurant Luce, a delightful Italian with excellent food and atmosphere, and at the Namaste Indian. Both rather pricey but we expected that. We also took the bus to the Paul Klee centre, very easy and recommend if art is your thing. Great little cafe in the centre for lunch. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bern and will definitely come back as we haven't seen all that this upmarket, old city has to offer. We felt we got very good value for money here. Thank you to the whole team!
