- Eduardo (6/5): Element Chandler by Westin, stay - I've never had a complaint up until this point, my experience was okay when i first walked into the building i wasn't greeted with a hello or hi the lady up front told me "what's going on" and when i told her i was here for check in then I was greeted normally, and as far as the room goes it had a lot of problems, missing blinds, missing towels, light switches broken, door handles broken, the bathroom door didn't lock or close properly, the mattress and couch felt old and worn out, maybe it was that room in particular but who knows i probably wouldn't stay here again. i will say the price wasn't too bad but i could of definitely of gotten something better, on paper the room seemed great the description and pictures is what had me sold initially. I will say the area of the hotel is great so many things near by but there is also a lot of other hotels in that area, and their complementary breakfast is good for what it is.

Very well located, just not a fan of the contemporary feel the hotel has. Not my first choice on hotels to stay in the future.

The delicious breakfast offers a great start to the day, and having EV chargers on site is a big plus for electric vehicle owners. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, creating a relaxing environment. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Plus, the great pool adds a perfect touch for relaxation and fun. Highly recommended!

- doublenickel4 (4/5): Average hotel. Above average price - Planned to stay 6 nights. Opted to pay the higher price vs other hotels in Fashion Center area based on pics, reviews and Marriott brand. Paid for a king and got two queens. Didn’t ask to switch because we knew we’d be canceling rest of reservation once we walked into room. Room is small. TV is smaller which wouldn’t be big deal except that it was across the room next to kitchenette. Also, there was no signal so we couldn’t watch. Carpet next to beds was dingy. Minor upkeep and maintenance issues. If the price was average, you’d get what you pay for.

- Christopher (10/5): - My wife and I always choose this property when visiting our family in Gilbert because of its proximity to the Chandler fashion mall and restaurants. All of these are easily walkable when temperatures outside allow. The hotel itself is always very clean with wonderful staff and a better than average breakfast in this hotel category. We always select the full suite rooms which are compatible priced with standard rooms at other nearby hotels. The suites are large with a separate bedroom with is own door and living room and small kitchen making longer stays very enjoyable. I highly recommend the Element when considering hotels in the Gilbert/Chandler area!

- AuntKathy4 (10/5): All good! - We are in the area for one week. We arrived at 10:00 pm on a Saturday. I had reserved a king room and was hoping for an upgrade. They were fully booked so no upgrade but he did indicate that I was assigned a larger room. When I got to the room I realized that larger means two queens not the king I reserved. Not a problem. The shower makes up for everything! One of the best walk-in showers and great water pressure! The daily breakfast is good especially the yogurt bar with delicious berries. An attendant constantly cleaning and replenishing food. I like that part of the floor is hardwood. Housekeeping is every other day but you can request daily. She did a good job. I always leave a tip. The only negative is that we didn't know much about the facility. Didn't know about the happy hour, pool hours, etc. I think they could put a flyer in the rooms. They probably have a QR code somewhere. So many restaurants within walking distance. We ate at a different one every night.
- mihaib1975 (10/5): Very good choice for business trip - I had a great stay at the Element Fashion Center in Chandler. I found the staff very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was on par with what was expected, the choice is rather limited but enough to calm down and empty stomach in the morning. During my stay the hotel had a social "happy hour" kind of event during which the served various nibbles and snacks and free beer; on my first evening at the hotel this happy hour was a good enough dinner for me. I cannot forget to mention that I spent Halloween at the hotel lobby was adequately decorated. The rooms are clean and well appointed and everything functions as intended. If I find myself in the area again I would not hesitate to stay there again.

- BrandonK850 (8/5): Still a great family style room, but getting a bit of age on it - We have always appreciated staying here as it has one of the best family of 5 room setups - the 2 queens with a pull out couch. It works very well for us at a reasonable price. The free breakfast has been a big draw too, since that would set us back another $50-75 if we went to a restaurant each morning. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast has definitely cut back over the recent years as it was now much less of a spread than before. It still does the job. Our room with the kitchenette and decent sized refrigerator are a big help. The bathroom light switch and some wall plug plates looked beat up and there were points of wear starting to come through around the room, but it is still in decent shape. Bed is ok but not what you would call comfortable. We will certainly be back again.

I always wanted to stay at element because it says by Westin and I always had nothing but 5 star experience at Westins and Marriotts. The front desk was nice during check in, but nothing memorable. They did not mention no room cleaning policy which I found out the next day when I inquired. Wheh we needed an extra blanket and fresh towels, they did send it up promptly. Room wasn’t very clean. There were dirty spoons, stove, dirty floor and hair on the bedsheet. Who knows what else they didn’t clean properly. One of the light switch was broken and falling off, lots of stains, chipped tiles etc in the bathroom. Big stains on the window cover which makes it look gross. The bed was ok but the pillows were very uncomfortable. Way too soft. There was nowhere to put anything in the shower. Breakfast on the go was good. There was scrambled egg with cherry tomatoes and guacamole and Greek yogurt to mix with fresh fruits, granola etc which were nice. Great location. Walking distance to chandler mall and other shopping areas and restaurants. Fitness center is nice too. Overall, I won’t return because of cleanliness and room condition.

- SusanK288 (8/5): Excellent accommodations in convenient location! - We stayed here two nights in two suites on a visit to the Phoenix / Tucson area. This was a great location that allowed us to hop on the highway to either city without much of a traffic headache. There were plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area (recommend Hop Social Kitchen). Suites were spacious, clean, and minimalist modern. I had a 1BR (surprise upgrade upon check-in) and my family member had a studio. Both suites had everything we needed. Best parts were the filtered water on tap along with ice cube trays in the freezer - the combination of these two items allowed us to keep our water bottles fresh and filled with cold, refreshing water. Both suites had a standalone shower (my preference), although a little disappointed at the lack of shelves in the shower. I had to place my personal toiletries on the shower floor. The towels are also tiny - a common issue with most hotels. The hotel was quiet - no noise disturbances during our stay. The Westin Heavenly bed was comfortable as always - like sleeping on a cloud! Parking was free and plentiful. Breakfast was also free. They had an amazing yogurt bar with tons of delicious, fresh berries. There was no breakfast meat available from what I could see. I was somewhat surprised to see disposable silverware at a eco-friendly hotel (although I’m guessing this is a post-Covid / staffing shortage related issue, as you don’t have to worry about cleaning silverware between guests). I kept receiving a message while trying to watch tv that the programs were not available for every channel I tried (even basic stations). This was not a big deal for me and I did not notify hotel during my stay because I did not want to wait for someone to fix it for me, but something to check before you get comfy in your room for the evening. I encountered a few minor cosmetic / maintenance issues between the two rooms (key card reader plate snapped off the one suite’s door, the deadbolt didn’t appear to lock in the other suite). Overall, this was a good choice for my family and I would stay again.

- Darice (10/5): the front desk guy needs to problem solve - We were in 326 and the window shade was broken - when I called the front desk the guy just said maintenance would be out tomorrow. Unfortunately the sun rushed in at 6 am. The next day we asked to switch rooms as it was a Sunday.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for families - The employees were very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean. The pull out couch was less than desirable and stained pretty good. The rooms are very spacious. The kitchen had a lot of items to use (we didn't need the kitchen, but it was nice.) The shower floor was in need of a good scrubbing, but, one could just bring shower shoes. This works out well for families.

- lbindc2015 (10/5): Excellent stay and great value for money! - This was one of the best hotel stays I have had in quite some time, noting that this property is a rare asset to the Marriott brand. Firstly, let’s start with the positives; 1) Free electric car charging. This included two charging stations for Tesla, and two for other types of vehicles. These spots weren’t always available, but it’s a really nice touch. Would be a positive if they added more stations in the future. 2) Guest bikes for rental. While they only have two currently, based on discussions with hotel staff, there is little demand for this benefit at present. With that said, they are nice bikes. I enjoyed a pleasant ride to the gym and nearby lake which was greatly appreciated and gave me an opportunity to check out the neighborhood (which is very nice FYI) at my leisure. 3) Complimentary hot breakfast every morning which included several low carb and healthy items such as egg white muffins, boiled eggs, sugar free oatmeal packages, plain Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and berries, nut toppings and several other standard breakfast options. Not comparable with some of the European properties in the Marriott brand, but satisfactory nonetheless. 4) Large, modern suites with a decent sized fridge and kitchen. Little outside noise detected. 5) Daily cleaning if requested. 6) Friendly staff who were very personable and seemed happy to be interacting with the guests at the front desk. Overall, really nice stay and great value for money. None of the irritating money grabs that most of the other Marriotts have taken advantage of. No unnecessary parking fees, no deceptive “resort” up charges and very competitive daily rates for the area. In addition, the property is across the road from the Chandler Fashion Center and well located if you need to be in this part of the metro area. There are several other Marriotts nearby, but this one is the best that I have come across so far.
- shelly (8/5): Wish they offered better breakfast. - Pros: Room was clean and AC worked great. Offers a pool, workout room, & laundry room. Close to mall. Offer happy hr free drinks and snacks. Smoke free environment was a plus. Bed was comfortable. Cons: No indoor restaurant. Breakfast was not what I expected, muffins, & oatmeal. Ice machine on 1st for only. Unfortunately the guest in the next room yelled all night profanities had to call front desk they did act fast but it did not stop them from yelling until after 1130pm. No fault to hotel but made my stay miserable. I wish they offered me a different room.
- Patricia (10/5): Wonderful and beautiful short stay ❤️ - I loved everything in the stay of the hotel only thought breakfast would have been a bit more of a variety. It was a bit disappointed but loved everything there😃 The rooms, customers service was awesome as we’ll check out.
- Melissa (10/5): Clean, comfortable, cozy. - The staff was very accommodating, friendly and available 24 hours/day. Kitchenette was stocked with utensils, which I didn’t know I would need but did. Beds were so comfortable. A/C was cold no matter what temp I set, so we just had to turn it off (but it was still cool enough to sleep well). Wish there was free filtered water for the room. Elevators had to be summoned separately.

- Nicole (6/5): - While this property looks nice, it was no better than your Holiday Inn. Lots and lots of disposables, while they are claiming to "helping to conserve the planet". The actual dishes that were around all had food residue left behind. While the hotel is pet friendly, and something I needed, the fee of $75 is definitely up there. I am not sure what that fee provides. I doubt it means extra cleaning to the room.
- Eric (8/5): - Good bed, free breakfast, gym, pool, clean room were all a plus. TV didn't have the fox broadcast of playoff football game was a minus.
