Pay attention to the fact that there are stairs to the second floor if you have mobility difficulty. (PS, if you come upon a negative room, it's my mistake; I rated a different place we stayed by accident!) There were a LOT of decorative pillows on the bed, and we took them off because there was no way to sleep in the bed with all of them. :-) I personally don't like fairy lights on at night - they give off light pollution and the property claims to be a natural sanctuary for animals - insects are people too! :-)

Far enough away from Redding to feel like you're in the country but close enough to run into town when needed. The hosts were gracious and very informative. Our room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The owners showed great attention to detail with the room decor amd furnishings.

Guests have access to the kitchen, decks, and a lovely yard. We could have used a chair in the room to sit for putting on shoes. Needed to leave the room for that. Other than this, everything was exceptionally nice.

- Christina (10/5): A little paradise in the middle of Redding. - I wasn’t too sure about staying here because I typically stay in large hotels, but since it had amazing reviews I thought I’d take a chance and am I’m so happy I did. Upon arrival we were met by Misty and given a tour of the property and house and shown up to our room. The house was beautifully decorated and so quiet. Lots of places to sit and relax inside as well as around the property. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom featured a gorgeous tub and stone shower. The pictures don’t do this bathroom justice, it was jaw dropping. After dinner we sat outside and watched all the birds (even a wild turkey)and were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. It was truly one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever stayed and we will definitely be back again. Everything was amazing

The weather was perfect for time outside at 10 pm, even more inviting were the well lit paths to walk and enjoy the walk. Our bed was like a cloud, so comfortable. The quietness of this property is relaxing in itself allowing us to unwind and recharge. Two things, first, that we didn't book our previous night stay here at Hope Inn, and second, that our travels lead us away. This place is so nice I'm looking forward to returning.

- Piero (10/5): - The hostess Denis was amazing and kind, the place was superb, clean, beautiful and so quiet. Our wake up was delicious with the view of beautiful deers just under our windows, the views arrownd the place are amazing and everything eas so peaceful. Impressively beautiful.

Beautiful setting, house made to perfection, wonderful decor, attention to all the details, inside and outside. It's such a great property to unwind, relax and enjoy the nature surrounding it. The non-stick pans... those were such an eye sore... too many heavy scratches on all 3 of thems.... not healthy and not matching the rest of the house.... but once they are replaced with Stainless steel and new nonstick pans, everything will be up to the quality of the house and surroundings.

- Sophy (10/5): Relaxing stay at this beauty of an Inn - We didn't know what to expect because this gem is in a neighborhood, but when we pulled in we felt like we were in our own private oasis. The grounds were beautiful, fountains, areas to dine outside, parking spaces clearly marked. Quiet ambience. Warm welcome from one of the owners Denise. Beautiful kitchen with all amenities. Was even able to do some much needed washing which was lovely. Intimate rooms and you couldn't even tell there was anyone else there. The room itself was cozy and bed very comfortable, so much attention to detail. Nice touch also with the lights outside at the entrance at night. Wish we could have stayed longer. This place is a must if staying in Redding. Absolutely nothing :)
- Nancy (8/5): A bit of smoke and mirrors. - The owner of the property is very organized and highly motivated to make this a delightful stay. Our room , The Vineyard, was well-appointed with a lovely large bathroom. The room itself is a bit cramped for two travelers and their luggage. When we got out of our car the air in Redding was acidic and smoky. I mentioned to Denise that we would have appreciated knowing in advance that breathing would be unpleasant and difficult as I suffer from severe headaches under these circumstances. Fortunately, the winds changed and the smoky air disappeared. We enjoyed the rest of our stay and particularly liked the lovely morning views from the terrace.

- Carolyn (8/5): - Hope Inn is a bit out of town and a bit noisy, but it’s still our number one pick every time we stop in Redding. The room and facilities are great. You could make meals here so easily. Highly recommend.

The room we had was on the first floor, and had an outside entrance The common areas where quite homey and attractive. can't really think of anything.

- Mattilematti (10/5): Charming Home with Serene Yard - Every room of the house is carefully decorated with taste and personality. The house had all amenities we could imagine. The highlight was the perfectly maintained yard, where we could spend hours watching birds around the fountains and trees. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could only recommend staying there in Redding. Nothing to dislike.
