Guest Reviews
- Elad (10/5): -
- Joshua (9/5): Great place in downtown Pai - The room was very nice and I enjoyed the porch area. Mellow Cafe is right on the property, and it's really good if you're looking for a place to have a coffee. The location is really good and away from the most busy parts of the downtown area. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, and since they were from Manchester, it was even more annoying...so maybe there should be some soundproofing done at some point.
- Parvez (7/5): Nice relaxed theme to the room. Lovely gardens surround the rooms. - A great location.
Walking distance to everything.
Lovely grounds, with a relaxed tropical feel.
- charles (10/5): - Very modern and clean. Great location. Friendly staff
- Christian (5/5): A great resort, but the noise can be a problem. - The comfort. The beds were great, and also the inclusion of the robes was nice. The noise, the karaoke bars across the street were unbearable when trying to sleep. Was no warning of loud noise when booking, but then when I delved into the reviews I realised. I should’ve checked first really. Also, some of the ladies who were sweeping at the resort next door were quite rude and pushy when I asked for the location of Yotaka. First experience of rudeness I’ve had in my two months here
- Damien (10/5): - This place is beautiful, has a great pool , the staff is rad. Wished then entire stay was here while in Pai. Can’t wait to come back here again!!!
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chris (10/5): - Nice place and great location
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- אלמוג (8/5): Very good -
- Nathalie (7/5): Good - Room was small but nice.
Bed was comfy.
Location was good. Staff was helpfull. Bathroom was smelly. We had to ask staff to clean sweep room and make bed. I think it is weird you have to ask, its something you pay for. Swimming pool filter was only on the first day. After that not anymore and the water looked iffy.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Nice place, good location and nice staff too.
- Pascal (8/5): Great location, right in walking street. Beware of loud noise from bars at night. - Great location Very loud in evening because directly opposite bars.
- Bar (7/5): Good -
- Hollie (10/5): Great stay - Lovely stay would defo go back very green and peaceful
- Craig (8/5): Very good - Location was great for walking street.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - On the main road near night market, with small but nice swimming pool to relax after a day of motorcycle driving.
- Felipe (8/5): Good - Very good location Price and doesn’t have breakfast
- Michael (8/5): Perfect…. The pool needs a new filter…. And some maintenance ( replacement of boards on street end of pool. It’s a hazar - Position Quiet if u are in a unit back from street
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Stephane (10/5): Thank you for everything - ell located hotel. Clean and well organized. Nice staff because room booked too much but I didn't pay for it on the spot. 🙏🇹🇭
- Rau (10/5): Beautiful place in Pai Town center - Amazing room and location
- Galia (8/5): Very good -
- Vered (9/5): Superb -
- Stuart (9/5): Great spot in town - Very clean, great location right in town. The accomodation is as per the photos. We had a great stay would recommend. There can be some background bar noise until about 1 am. We could sleep through it through.
- David (7/5): Very reasonable per night price but you get what you paid for. - Easy access to the walking street businesses, restaurants, etc. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, very clean. Location is extremely noisy at night - Karaoke bar across the street is very loud and makes sleep difficult. The room is very small, with no chair or desk or closet or wardrobe or shelves to store clothing.
- Catherine (8/5): - Received toilet paper and water daily which was nice, but never clean towels and there were lots of ants in our room
- Harry (9/5): Lovely cabins in a great location in tropical surroundings. - Location and tropical beauty of the grounds.
- Mick (10/5): - Great location and taff were very friendly. Room large enough and clean. It is near the bars, so was noisy until appx 11pm, but this didn't bother me. The only issue I had was the shower was not hot. Other than that, great place to stay in Pai.
- Chris (9/5): Perfect location unless you want a early night - Perfect location, nice garden area to chill in the morning and evening, opposite the bars (if you go to bed early probably not the right location for you) Shower could do with a little more power but that’s just being fussy I guess
- Caulfield (8/5): Lovely hotel in a great location - Great location - close to walking street
Very comfy beds There were a few ants in the room and you could hear the live music from the bars across the road
- John (7/5): Nice quiet spot - Very quiet, easy atmosphere. Nice cottage. Near walking street. No garden to enjoy the sun. There is a swimming pool with chairs. But missed a relax spot.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Very green and nature vibe Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, already planning our next stay
- PAUL (10/5): - Friendly staff and great location. Right next to walking street with many bars and restaurants.
Also near rivier with beautiful views
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Fay (8/5): Very good - The pool was lovely and the location was amazing There were ants in the bathroom and our room was never serviced
- Royi (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms are designed beautifully, the pool is great and the hotel location is amazing.
Above that, the working staff are kind and helpful.
- Jo (10/5): Wonderful accommodation 😊 - This accommodation was beautiful, very clean with lovely staff.
We were only there for three days.
The location however was not suitable for what we wanted and the club on the road was extremely busy and noisy and we had trouble sleeping.
If you are a party animal the location is perfect 😄
If you are not interested in drinking and want to relax this is not the place. The location unfortunately was really loud.
- Franz (9/5): Superb -
- Netzer (7/5): Good - Good location and price We could hear everything from the next rooms and from the street…
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - Booked for 2 nights, ended up staying 2 more. Right in the city center, 2 7-eleven within walking distance, staff were amazing, even helped us with phone calls to our last hotel because we forgot something there. Quite place but just so beautiful. Thank you again!
- Jimu (8/5): A clean, well - located space but in need of some maintenance - The location and cleanliness of the space were very good. There were some items that needed to be replaced or added, like a new hot water heater and a clothes closet.
- Erin (8/5): Very good - location, little porch pool was very cloudy didn’t look like filter had been being used, however after I mention to staff the same day they started running filter and had someone cleaning bottom following day. so was maybe just needing it’s winter spring clean if people hadn’t been using previously. not really a negative maybe just bad winter timing
- Darcie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darryl (8/5): Very good - No breakfast but the room was cute and clean. Well done. Good location too. Huge "music" noise from close by bars. Made sleep all but impossible. Whew!
- Ng (9/5): Superb - Should have a better lobby , nicer swimming pool and massage service lobby
- Emily (8/5): A great stay in the heart of Pai!! - Great location in the centre and walking distance to great bars, restaurants and walking street market.
Good size rooms and comfy bed.
Every day we had two bottles of water and an extra toilet roll!!!
Staff are great and overall, it has a great relaxed feel. The pillows were rock hard and when I asked for two softer ones, they didn't have any.
The shower is not good, varying temperature and poor power.
There is noise from the opposite bars so we asked for a room further back, it didn't stop us sleeping!!!
- Allan (9/5): Superb -
- Kathy (6/5): Pleasant - Lovely staff. Should have taken heed to the other reviews. Noisey as the bathrooms are somehow connected. We had awful neighbors. I thought I'd be the lucky one and not have an issue with this however they were loud and gross sounding. Problem with bees in the back. Pool was too cold to swim and doesn't have a nice lounging area to enjoy.
Really too bad as the place is beautiful. The gardens are well tended and it's a cozy place. Expensive for what we got. Restaurant was not open and couldn't access rooftop area either. Took away from the entire atmosphere and ability to lounge in the space. We moved to the place next door and it's lovely. Rooms are less nice but it's on the river and the restaurant bar is everything! Breakfast included and good community feel.
They do need to install some hooks for hanging. No wardrobe or drawers or any place to put things.
- Julia (9/5): I only stayed here a couple nights, but if I could it would’ve been longer. The staff was so friendly and down to earth… - Friendly staff, comfy bed, the location, the pool. Only that it’s noisy until about midnight. but that has nothing to do with the hotel, just the location. on the other hand it’s perfect if you wanna go and mingle during the night and be close to your bed.
- Alexandra (8/5): nice basic bungalows in a good location - -cute bungalows surrounded by plants
-nice staff
-good location
-nice pool -no breakfast/food available (but that’s okay - lots close by)
-no English channels on the tv
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Stav (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Harris (4/5): Don't stay here if you want to sleep - Comfortable beds, nice porch area. Even with a hut at the back and good ear plugs the music from the clubs was SO loud I couldn't sleep til about 2am. The huts must lack sound proofing as was woken up at 7am to the sound of my neighbour's bathroom and bedroom activities.
I booked this hotel mainly because it advertised late check in but that seemed to be a problem. At 7:30pm I received a message saying the staff was leaving at 8. After several messages they agreed to stay but asked for an incentive/tip in return.
For the money they're charging I would expect hot showers.
If you're in Pai to party then it's probably quite a nice play to stay but if you're not I'd avoid it
- Juergen (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (7/5): Good - Lovely cabin and the staff was very nice. Very loud due to the location. Mainly more you could here the base plus the music.
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Victoria (7/5): great little stay - the location was amazing, close to the walking street and easy to get to everything you need. staff were very friendly and attentive, happy to assist with anything you need.
the pool area was nice to sit around and often quiet which was nice for a bit of peace
the air-con was nice and looked to be quite modern which kept the room cool there was quite a lot of greenery which you would think is nice but this attracts a lot of bugs. there was a lot of wasps/bees/ants and a few big spiders which I am quite scared of. this made the stay a bit uncomfortable for me as we had to walk through the bugs to get to our room each time.
the shower was also not the best. there is no curtain so eve thing in the bathroom gets wet and it was not as warm as it says. you can make it warmer by turning the tap down but this unfortunately turns the water pressure down.
- Philippa (9/5): gorgeous property - lovely rooms and grounds with comfy bed it is right on the party street so a bit noisy ideal if you are planning to go to bed before bars close
- Lukasz (9/5): Superb -
- Yannik (4/5): - Unfortunately our room felt like being inside a bar, with sing-along live-music until 2am. Could not think of sleeping. Apart from that, the hotel would have been great…
- Mike (9/5): Nice place. - The pictures do not do this hotel justice it looks way better than in the pictures. Loved the bathroom. Very very close to the center of town where everything is happening. I was not there to party, but if you want to enjoy the Pai nightlife, then this is the place to be. Very close to the nightmarket restaurants etc. The perfect place if you to go out and grab a quick lunch or drink To close to town. Next to the party street. So every night music untll 1 am. I was lucky enough to have a room in the rear so it did not disturb me too much.
- Helena (8/5): lovely clean room in beautiful green surroundings. - very clean, comfortable. no where to put your clothing.
- Marit (10/5): would definitely come back! - Pool was great, rooms were big and clean. no breakfast but this was not a problem for us. We had a nice porch we could enjoy our mornings on. Friendly receptionists who helped with whatever we needed. Ended up staying for nights instead of two.
- Maya (7/5): nice but not a good value for the money. - cleaning every day, pretty place, great location, a little bit loud but we liked it. anyway, at 24:30 the music in the bars stop. small room, There is no curtain in the shower so all the toilets and the shower room get wet, there is no window in the shower so you cannot ventilate the shower room because opening a window lets in mosquitoes. The TV stopped working at some point.
- Janina (9/5): Superb -
- Mesut (4/5): Disappointing - bar music is too loud
- Eszter (10/5): Exceptional - very good quality, stylish rooms. Very central location, but for the same reason difficult to access with a rented car. A bit on the expensive side and suitable primarily for young people who wish to party and stay up late. no breakfast provided. enermous amount of mosquitoes in the rainy season in the garden.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandra (9/5): everything you need for a short stay in Pai - clean, private cottages, comfortable we could hear some noises from outside
- Limor (7/5): Good - Nice pool. Good location A small room. No chairs or table. Noisy at night because of loud music from a close club.
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Nicolas (10/5): great. - everything nothing.
- Tiana (10/5): Excellent location, big clean room, friendly staff - Excellent location, friendly staff, clean, large room.
I had originally booked a different hotel which wasn’t
up to scratch so I ended up booking Yotaka on
a whim and I am so glad I did! I cannot rate this
place high enough! Had booked for 2 nights and
ended up staying 4 nights. Would definitely recommend Couldn’t fault a thing.
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and lovely room! - This was a lovely place. They took good care of us and were very helpful with anything we needed. Even in the midst of the pandemic the music across the street was still blaring which was annoying. Also the hot water was only available at very low pressure. However the location is great and we enjoyed it a lot!
- George (8/5): Top little resort - All in all a nice little resort for a couple of nights. There are several bars with some great live music on the same small road and the night market is just around the corner
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel and good location.
Amazing staff help me with all the troubles
- Richard (10/5): Absolute gem for the price. - Absolute gem for the price!
- Richard (10/5): Great value in Pai downtown. - As usual I love this place, see my earlier review.
Danach ruhig. Wenige Parkplätze.
- Amy (8/5): - This place could be great. The location is good and the rooms are comfy. But the front desk staff ruin it. They are not friendly, not helpful and were asleep at the desk (during the day) on more than one occasion. We were there 9 nights and not once did someone say hello.
- William (8/5): Comfortable room in the center of town. - Room was clean and comfortable. It was in the center of town where all the action was. Local bar plays music late but not too late. The toilet didn't flush well.
- Sarah (8/5): - Great pool, great room, perfect location, and a modern, Western-style bathroom. The only thing I would change is the rocks in the gutter of the shower. They're a breeding area for mosquitoes and blackflies. So I had to fight them off every time I had a shower. Otherwise, great experience.
- Dan (8/5): Clean, compact, and convenient. - Right in town (but not the main centre) makes this a nifty place to walk.
Two of the most popular bars play their music to the street opposite however, so it's just as well that the chalets are set back a bit, in a well-maintained, green grove.
Swimming pool is modest length, but clean and cute to have a dip in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): In the mix - If you want to be in the center then you will love this place cuz everything is right out the door. I hope you like Jazz and other live music cuz you will be hearing it from 8-12 at night constantly.
The staff were really nice.
The downside:
They had construction going on when I was there so that was anoyying and shower barely got warm.
The biggest complaint is the pillows were hard as rocks. So on the end I had to move to another place to get some proper rest.
- Ronen (6/5): Great room, good location, a bit noisy. - The room was brand new and very nice. A bit cold at chilly night. There is quite a bit of noise from close bar until 11:30. Also, there is currently some construction going on. Overall it is really nice.
- cindy (8/5): - Our stay in the cottage is new as the Hotel is still under renovation, bus station is 10 min walk, walking street is 3 min walk
- Chris (10/5): Pick this guesthouse for your trip to pai. - Note on Google maps it goes by its previous name baan suan rim pai. Easy walk from either minibus drop off. Signs for both names are on the street. This is the perfect spot to stay in pai. Clean, quite, comfortable rooms in a tropical setting just steps from everything that makes pai fun. They fill the rooms in the back first so you can't hear the bars and restaurants on the street. Highly recommend this guesthouse. They don't speak much English but doesn't matter. Crawl home from the yellow sun bar down the street. Check out pens kitchen for great inexpensive food. 24hrs moped rentals ( great for hotsprings and canyon) and hr. Long massages about 200 bhat all around.
- D.J. (10/5): Nice new clean place - Hot shower good location...gets a but loud at the bars across the street at night but not to bad.
