Yadronis (10/5): - Very beautiful, peaceful place, away from the main street but immediately accessible from it. The room was very specious for two, bright, and well equipped with a small kitchen, and amazing beds, better than my own bed at home! We loved our big balcony in the corner room, and how cool the room was during the night. We didn't even need to use the AC during our stay! The staff maid was a so sweet and considerate lady, we really liked her. And of course, our host, the BEST Konstantinos, who made certain we had everything we needed, and wished us good morning every day! He was always easy to reach for any questions, just a superb host. I wish we could have stayed much longer :) The above hotel played some live music at their pool (and I think during Eurovision someone hosted an evening at the hotel), which we listened to from our balcony at night, but the above hotel always went quiet at 22:30 the latest, so there was no noise that we would've been bothered by really. Besides, other people are on holidays too :) We can all fit in Platanias and have fun and respect each other. We loved the garden and the cats which always greeted us on our way to and from. Konstantinos also arranged us a taxi both ways which we were very grateful for. All in all, I could have not wished for anything more at all. Except a longer holiday. We will hopefully be back next year!

Felipe (10/5): - apartamento estupendo, com todos os acessórios necessários para a estadia… a partir da panela para cozinhar, até o shampoo para tomar banho! O senhor Kostantinos, proprietario do apartamento, muito gentil, disponível e preparado para qualquer coisa que precisamos! Espaço igual as fotos publicadas, varanda perfeita, estacionamento no local, bem localizado e em zona tranquila. Saímos todos os dias de manhã e sempre quando voltávamos e o quarto estava limpo e organizado graças a uma senhora muito simpática que trabalha ali( não lembro o nome dela e sinto muito por isso), mas encontrávamos o quarto sempre impecável. Valeu cada centavo investido!!! Com certeza se eu voltar em Creta, irei me hospedar de novo aqui e indico para qualquer pessoa que esteja interessado… me senti em casa e espero poder voltar o mais breve possível 💙
Jan (10/5): - Měli jsme štěstí, toto ubytování bylo pro nás, rodinu s dětmi, ideální. Měli jsme půjčené auto a dělali výlety na krásná místa a pláže v této části ostrova. Ubytování za dobré peníze, velmi příjemné, pohodové (možnost snídaní a posezení v rozkvetlé zahradě), velmi čisté a udržované. Majitelé příjemní lidé. Brzy na viděnou, krásná Kréto 🌸
Joutastelija (9/5): Meistä pidettiin huolta - Sijainti erinomainen, vain pieni, tosin jyrkkä nousu rantatieltä. Ihana puutarha, jonka kukkien loistoa seurasimme kokonaisen kuukauden. Hiljaisuus. Isännän ja siivoojan jatkuva huolehtivaisuus, kun meillä kummallakin oli hieman terveydellisiä ongelmia. Aurinko ei paistanut terassillemme, mutta sitä saattoi ottaa puutarhan pergolassa.

Very friendly owner who was always in touch. Baby beds were offered for free, which was amazing! House is located little high on small hill and it was hard to get on top with a car because The hill was too steep.

Jane (10/5): - There was a beautiful garden for us to sit in, and Konstantinos our host was very hospitable. The maid service was excellent and the property was a short walk from the main drag of Platanias, with several excellent restaurants nearby.

Dawid (8/5): Very Cool & Affordable Accommodation in Platanias - The property featured a very beautiful garden with a gazebo in which we could gather in the evenings. Konstantinos (the owner) was very friendly and truly cared about his guests. The homemade wine was delicious. Our two apartments were cleaned daily which we really appreciated. Location was great, just one minute away from the main street of Platanias. There is an abundance of restaurants and shops nearby. There is even a post office and superb bakery a few steps away. Wireless Internet was spotless. I’d definitely return here again in the future! Our apartments were located on the basement level (N6 and N7). In both, there was a strong musty smell when the cupboard under the kitchen sink was opened. The dampness makes its presence felt. The kitchen equipment was somewhat limited but completely sufficient for us. In the evenings, noise from another hotel nearby entered the rooms, so if you like to go to bed early and have a light sleep, I recommend taking earplugs.
Peptanaru (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great. We had everything we needed. The room was very clean. They were cleaning it every day. The owner was very kind. He kept asking us if everything was ok. He even managed to add an extra bed for us to sleep comfortably with our baby girl. The kitchenette was well equipped. The owner even offered us some wine and ouzo. The location is also excellent, everything you may need is right there. It's also very close to nice beach. I totally recommend it 👌 👍 😄

Under 10mins walk to the sea and superb array of shops and restaurants. Bus stop to Chania is very close too! Our apartment and balcony was spacious! We have to say, we have stayed in many places, but I rate Stamatakis as one of the cleanest and well maintained. Thank you Team Konstantinos 👍 Nothing not to like.

Ana (10/5): I recommend Stamatakis Boutique Studios. - Very clean and comfortable everything. Located near the beach (about 200 m), tavernas and markets everywhere. However, the place is quite, you can sleep without hearing the noise from the streets. The accomodation has a beautiful garden, with a small patio, where you can stay peacefully. I don’t have complaints.

The owner was very kind and welcoming. We had daily cleaning of the room. Evharisto poli, Konstantinos! Our room was at the parter so relatively cool during July heat. Room is well-equipped if you wish to cook at home. Vey nice and well-maintained garden in front of the house. In case you prefer to stay around the city there is convenient public bus.

The friendly host gave us great tips and arranged a taxi from and to the airport. The room was very clean and one could find everything needed there. Some extra points for the beautiful garden! Ariana-stanca (10/5): It was an ”above our expections” experience. - The location is near the center of Platanias (25 minutes walk) and very near to the beach and the main street - however, it is a silent place. The host was very helpful - he offered us whatever information we needed and we asked him, he made reservations for us (taxi from and to the airport or organized trips on the island). The host also offered us some local wine and raki ”on the house”. The room was very clean and it was cleaned daily (except Sunday). There is a fabulous garden we could admire from the terrace. Everything was perfect. Maybe, the speed of the internet might be improved - there were moments when the internet speed was pretty low.

Diana.i. (9/5): One week in a lovely stay - Great garden and colors of the room. Confortable bed and pillows. Has own private parking and it's great. Very clean facilities. We would go back. The sheets and cover bed are white, and it's great, but difficult to maintain perfect white, so had 1-2 minor stains. There is a hotel with pool near by that has sometimes live music, and I could hear it from the room. However, by 11-12 they would close down the music and we had no troubles sleeping. Also, if other guests are in the garden or on their teraces, you can hear them, but I guess this is everywhere. Overall a quite place, far from the buzzling of the crowded street or clubs.

New (9/5): Superb - Perfect location in Platanias, parking in the yard, comfortable bed. Room was not on the sunny side so it kept cool and made sitting on the balcony comfortable. Great communication with the host. Smoking neighbours on balconies. Common to Greece the bathrooms tend to have humidity problems, sewage smell and you can't throw toilet paper in the toilet.
Kimberly (10/5): Nice family stay. - Location was perfect, near al the restaurants en the beach. The host (konstantinos) was very nice. We were travelling with a baby and had a nice bed for the baby and we could take an umbrella for the beach. Konstantinos had some good recommandations and asked multiple times if we and the baby were oke and if we needed anything. One night the power went out in our studio and he supplied us with hot water for the baby, a candle and a gasburner for heating stuff up, the next morning the electricity was fixed. We will surely come back here.

It is far enough from the main street so it is quiet, and yet close enough that everything is within walking distance. Very good location. An environmentally friendly place/owner. Solar-heated water and solar-panel for electricity, for those who care about being environmentally responsible. Perhaps the biggest asset is the owner, who is local and extremely attentive. Everything you need, he provides. Being a local, his recommendations about restaurants, etc., were all spot-on: during my stay, I had not had one bad meal. highly recommended.

Die Küchenzeile ist mit dem Notwendigsten ausgestattet, der Rest der Ausstattung ist für ein Appartment vollkommen ausreichend. Täglich gab es frische Laken und Handtücher. Auch war der Gastgeber immer ansprechbar und stand mit Rat und Tat beiseite. Es war ein angenehmer Augenthalt, die Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen!

Clean studio-like space with fridge and hot plates if you want to cook, very spacious with big closet for your stuff! Very helpful owner as well.

Oda (10/5): Supert opphold - Hadde et fantastisk fint opphold på dette lille hotellet. Veldig hyggelig rengjøringspersonale og eieren av hotellet var svært hjelpsom og tilgjengelig. Den ene dagen fikk vi til og med kake på senga. Dersom du ikke behøver basseng på din reise anbefaler jeg dette på mitt sterkeste. Beliggenheten var topp. Stille og rolig, men allikevel veldig nært hovedgaten. 10 av 10!
