Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice location
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room on Expedia shows a twin bed. I did not have a twin bed in my room. I had 4 bunk beds on single bed. I did not realize it was a hostel room so no private bathroom. No staff at the front to check in or check out (all self use), no way to upgrade from hostel to an actual hotel room if you weren't happy with the hostel. No ice machine, vending machine does not have bottled water, no microwave to use, no vending machine to get snacks, no towels to use, just a bare 4 wall hole with bunkbeds. It's an unpleasant place to stay. Be cautious!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Outstanding the T-Bar grill and bar has awesome food and staff! Great trails.
- Prician (8/5): - The common area has a good size with complete Equipment. The rooms are just too small for 6 person to sleep. And the window is kinda small. For summer its very warm but overall its ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): - can utilize the downstairs kitchen a plus
- Aljean (8/5): Good during the weekend - We stay at this hotel on a Monday night, we were totally alone in the hotel, no restaurant around unless you drive 20 minutes to a near town. This is a ski lodge and it is located at the base of the mountain. We were told that a Bar and restaurant usually open from Friday to Sunday. The room are nice and clean. No air conditioning or fan. windows are small. It is truly a winter place. we felt being in a ghost town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel in ski resort, especially the staff - We stayed here for 4 nights in August so it was very quiet, I think we were the only family staying. The room was lovely and had a double bed and bunk beds. The staff made you feel very welcome and wanted to make us fresh coffee in the morning. The mountain walks were great and the scenery was amazing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hostel like accommodation. - Washroom is shared but clean and look fairly new. Can become crowded if the floor is filled. Location as indicated by Hotels.com is off by 90 Km - it is not in Pincher Creek, but at the base of Castle Mountain Ski area. Last 10 km to the mountain is not paved.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Right on the slopes - We stayed here after hearing it was a great family friendly hostel... which it was (sort of), however, apparently this year there has been a change and many of the occupants turned out to be ski resort staff, which made it feel much more like staying at a fraternity, than a hostel - dirty dishes were left in and around the sink, the staff occupied the tv room almost exclusively, laying out fully on the couches - making it awkward/uncomfortable for my children to want to watch any kid shows after their ski day, which wasn't a huge deal, but it was still disappointing when they wouldn't make any effort to make space for others. It was noisy the first night with kids running up and down the hallways, but the second night was nice and quiet (Monday night).
- james (8/5): - For the price expected a bit more, didn't realize it was a hostel. Quite noisy.
- Annmarie (2/5): This is no hotel, strictly a hostel. - Don't be fooled by the hotel part with the hotel price, it is a hostel! Very clean, shotty wifi for a hefty price, coffee is only available at 9:00am, and the beds are TERRIBLE - I've had better sleeps on my yoga mat! Rent a suite on the hill for the same price of the so called "hotel"
