Easy walk to the main street and an awesome brewery next door. We felt like we were in the middle of the jungle in Ojai! So fun. Can't wait to come back.

Lots of private and communal spaces outside of the trailers to enjoy as well. Some nice food/drink options within walking distance. Staff was great on my recent trip as they were on a previous stay. Nothing!
- Robyn (10/5): Quirky, fun, and comfortable! - The bed was very comfortable; the permanent bathrooms located in the building were always spotless; the customer service was excellent. I loved the location. I walked all over town from this location. The Ojai Trail also is right behind the Outpost and is safe and pleasant to walk on. I would stay here again. The only thing that could have been better was the velcro on the curtains. It was old and worn out. I had to get clips from a local friend to hold them closed for privacy and for darkening effect.

- Daninger (10/5): Perfect - The location was great, weather prohibited some outdoor activity, but we went to the museum in Ojai and loved the exhibit. It was so fun just to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Instructions for entry were very easy to follow. The bamboo dishes and silverware, I get the concept, but I would have been nice to have real silverware.

The kitchen had a fridge and freezer, microwave, electric kettle, stove, sink. Faucets had drinkable water. Nice common bathrooms and a shower, beautifully landscaped shared outdoor space with plenty of seating. TVs weren't working, AC is a bit loud at night

- Terrie (8/5): Better stay in fall or winter - Great location close to restaurants and shopping and the center of Ojai arcade area. Glamping in an airstream with nice communal areas for lounging , a small group of airstreams but privacy was not an issue as there is lots of plants folliage dividing each camper , the property is well maintained and communal shower and bathrooms facilities were clean . Would not come back here during the summer months too hot ! The property was listed as having a pool but there is none and the only pool access was passes you could purchase from a nearby club … unfortunately as long as it wasn’t during summertime months not available in August ! The record player didn’t work nor did the TV , we didn’t cook in the space so not sure how well appliances function.

The patio setting was super cute with just the right amount of privacy. The community areas were also really great, clean, and easily accessible. There was a walking trail within just a few feet of the campground. I traveled solo and felt really safe. Absolutely, loved it!

I thought location was great...easy to walk to the yoga studio, dinner, drinks...or bike (provided) and it's right next to a bike path. My only hesitation was that I was allergic to the bedroom area in my trailer so I think someone had pets in there before and maybe the pillows or bed decor at the foot may have had pet hair in it.

And I would expect some kitchen supplies since the Airstreams have kitchens.

We brought easy to eat food for breakfast but had to go to the store to buy paper plates and forks etc. Was a real bad mark on an otherwise great place.

The bathroom was spacious and living room was very comfortable. The kitchen basics were not available. It would have been better to have a pan, spatula, plates, and utensils. The upstairs bedroom is definitely low to the floor but still enjoyable esp if it is for kids.

The bed is really comfortable, never too hot or cold, and so much space for two people! Thanks to the staff for the additional help :-) There’s a kitchen in the caravan, but nothing to cook with. For the rest, it’s quite on the expensive side.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad pre check in process. - The check In process was screwed up as the waiver docs were never received and we ended up not staying. Not sure if it was Hotels.com glitch or a failure by Caravan but we texted them last evening with no response.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute experience - Very cute place. For years I’ve always wanted to stay in an airstream and this afforded me that opportunity. It was a very enjoyable experience. There’s a kitchen in the Aistream, but absolutely nothing in the kitchen, except for an electric kettle, sink, fridge, microwave and some tea and coffee bags. No silverware, napkins, cooking utensils, pots, plates, etc. Not anything you would need to be able to make food in or to eat on. No sponge for the sink. That was a huge disappointment because we brought food to make. Nothing complicated, but we had absolutely nothing to cook it in or eat it on. That was pretty shocking for the price. Otherwise, very nicely decorated, clean, and overall a cute experience that I do recommend.

The staff was very hospitable. I will definitely go back. There was hardly a thing to dislike, honestly. I was glad I brought a few kitchen items, like a knife and some cups. Otherwise we wouldn't have had anything to have a cocktail or glass of wine in, nor would we have been able to cut up any limes or lemons. Next time I'll bring a little bit of dish soap. There were plenty of skylights and lights, so the airstream wasn't as dark as I would have thought, but the lightbulbs were a very cool, blue-ish white. Maybe one day they'll be able to upgrade them to warmer LED bulbs. Overall—honestly—I have no criticisms. I enjoyed my stay.

- Kate (7/5): Great spot, would recommend, wish we found the thermostat! - Definitely didn’t think any breakfast was offered when we were there… And the airstream itself was totally well outfitted! The bathrooms with toilets and sink were also clean and well stocked… The biggest bummer, which is totally on us, is that in our hurry to get settled and unpack everything with kids I didn’t see the posted instructions on the wall next to the thermostat and so we wound up really freezing that night and I got sick which I’m still recovering from… So maybe turning on the heater in advance or having like information about that in the check-in emails would be great? Just because we were so busy once we got there and it wasn’t that cold when we went to bed! also the communal shower bathroom was kind of gross like a ton of old hair in the drain 🙈

- Susan (4/5): Went home early. - The staff did give us paper plates and plastic eating utensils when we asked for them. A nice women cleaned and disinfected our camper when we told her we had a possum urinate and defecate in the camper our first day there. Location of camp site near town. Grounds of camp ground were attractive. Kitchen did not have dishes, silverware, pans, or coffee maker. Television did not work. Heater was loud and went on and off all night. Door to camper was difficult to open. Possum got into camper. We had to catch it and clean up it's urine and poop with only water, as no cleaning supplies in camper. At over $300 a night, we expected better.

The shared outdoor space is lovely, but we were unable to enjoy it as it was sweltering in Ojai. It looked inviting and comfortable. Did take advantage of the space for a minute early morning to star gaze before the heat descended again. Nothing!!

They were communicative, accommodating, and the property was beautiful. The camper was pristine and in wonderful condition. The booking fees have increased a lot in Ojai through the years, but we were appreciative they offered one night stays. Highly recommend this experience for young families with kids looking for something everyone can enjoy!!

I was very glad I did! This is place is very low key and quite, perfect to return to and lounge after a day of exploring the city. it is within walking distance of wonderful pubs and restaurants and had everything we needed for a wonderful romantic stay. Best of all was the customer service provided by our camp Host Leilani. She went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure our stay was perfect! We will be back!!
