- Vinson (3/5): Will not return to this hotel. - I was in room 528. The floor had a bright red spot in front of the bed in between the bed and the television. The air conditioner was not calibrated properly, sometimes it was extremely cold and other times it was quite warm. looking out the window at the roof of the building next door and the alley way of the hotel. The one front desk worker was somewhat snooty and unfriendly. The valet people were very nice and proficient. The food service personnel were nice and helpful.

- Andrea (10/5): Amazing hotel and facilities! - I really liked the facilities! The building was very clean and modern looking. The elevator worked perfectly and the room was very clean and spacious. The mattress were the most comfortable ones I have experienced in a while! The breakfast was very good; it included a variety of healthy items and not too processed foods. The staff was okay, they could have been a little friendlier and attentive. Location was amazing; everything was really close by and I felt safe walking around the area. I would recommend it! The parking was way too expensive ($45 a night) so I found a parking garage a few minutes away for only $12.00 a night. It was very pricey compared to other options nearby.

Like 2/3 blocks from the central market. I am a female (30) traveled alone... Felt safe entering the hotel, staying, and walking/ubering alone! The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast ever. AND staff was amazingly kind! Couldn’t have asked for better. Also used the gym, it was small! One bench, a few treadmills/ellipticals/set of weights! But did the job, open 24/7. Didn’t use the pool!

- Paris (10/5): Great Stay! - The hotel is in a perfect location. We parked in the parking garage across the street and never had to move our vehicle the entire stay. We walked and rode the ferry whenever we needed to get anywhere. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as shopping and exploring/sightseeing. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. This was a great overall stay. They only had valet and of course that's expensive, but we found parking in a garage close by that was cheaper and still safe.

- Chang-Yi (5/5): - Breakfast has a wide variety of options. The breakfast staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel informed us that no water was available during the night due to maintenance work. However, they didn't inform us proactively, we noticed it from the desk notification. We couldn't find a "No disturb or no cleaning" door sign in the room. After informing the front desk, they said they would inform the housekeeping staff. But we still found that the housekeeping staff came into our room and cleaned. We appreciate the cleaning, but we genuinely feel that the hotel has problems with management and communication. I spent money at this hotel expecting to receive the quality they "claimed". I did not have high standards or requirements; I just expected that I could get what I "should" experience. But clearly, I feel like spending this money at a hotel of the same level from other hotel groups like Hilton or IHG would have a more pleasant experience. This was my first time staying at hotel of Marriott group, but it might also be my last time since I was quite disappointed. I feel like this was the only negative part I had during my trip to Savannah. They claim they have 24-hour front desk service on their website, but in reality, they don't have service during a period in the middle of the night. When we needed help, we couldn't find anyone at all. I ran all over the first floor and tried knocking on rooms where employees might be, but no one showed up. If Fairfield Marriott can't provide 24-hour front desk service, don't put that information on your website. It's a lie and false advertising.

Staff upon entering the facilities was not the best or even polite. There was a person in front of us that was finishing up and the staff member just told her she was done with her and she asked what we needed in a rude demeanor. No one was out for valet parking. When I asked what we need to do, she told us we needed to talk to the people outside. She was very inpatient.

- Johnson (9/5): Great rates and convenient location for downtown Savannah - Extremely great location. Just out of the hustle and bustle but walking distance to everything downtown. The shower was really nice with great water pressure, which can be hard to find in a hotel bathroom. They had the flavored ice water at the front desk, which was delicious. The breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about. We stayed on a room facing the side street, which was extremely noisy at night. There were also no interior stairs, so we couldn’t get to our room in the 2nd floor without taking the elevator, which was a little inconvenient.

The front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and so helpful - and they recognized my birthday as a Mariott Rewards Member. Clean and quiet - I will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

- melissamA7890UK (4/5): This budget option NOT worth it! - If you can sleep through a freight train coming through, then by all means, stay here! The walls are literally paper-thin… babies crying, engines revving all night long, and the person above me with the explosive #2… I heard it all and ALL night long! If you do value cost over a restful night, then heed this warning… do not accept any room numbered 221-229, nor any block of rooms above or below… they are adjacent to a gas station… it is bright and loud… well into the night and the curtains do not shut all the way. The HVAC unit is one of the loudest too… I almost chose to sweat to death over having the AC turn on and off. What seemed like an economical option ended up being almost $200 more because of the parking and a pet fee, AND I got zero sleep. The only reason I chose 2 stars is because the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. My recommendation is to spend a little more on your hotel for a higher end option if you value sleep.

They are not qualify to be at the front desk, they don’t know anything. I was charge twice for the hotel! And now I have to wait 7 days for the refund to my card, unbelievable!
