- Robin (10/5): -
- Nelly (9/5): - nous y avons passé qu'une nuit, pas assez de temps pour apprécier . endroit sympa et ida et une personne super agréable, joviale , très plaisant
- Justine (10/5): -
- Shripad (1/5): The first and worst experience in Bali through booking.com - No nearby shops.
No breakfast (booking.com says otherwise)
Small and congested room.
Glass door for toilet and bathroom - no curtains or blinds. No privacy.
No comfort at all.
Bedding is also not suitable for sleeping.
Booking.com is providing wrong /old information which needs to be updated to maintain the reputation and success.
- Kayleigh (10/5): Exceptional - The dog! Geeze! Super cute and friendly.
The pool, the location and the hut was all very lovely!
Ide the owner was a really nice guy 😊 Nothing.
- Vipin (7/5): Good -
- May (8/5): Very good - The host was welcoming and what you see in the picture is what you get. Good value for money. The room is spacious and clean. There are mosquitoes, so bring an insect repellant. The surrounding area outside has no light.
- Ria (9/5): Superb -
- Ferreira (10/5): Amazing Garden! - Amazing garden! Very friendly host! I just stayed one night, but it's worth to stay more!
- Sharon (10/5): Perfect and cozy - We had a great stay. The kids also likes it. Musquitos but u are in the nature so thata normal
- Adam (9/5): Extremely friendly staff with the nicest dog you will ever come across! - Exceptional service who went beyond expectations. The hotel dog was so social and made us feel even more welcomed! There were quite a few spiders in the room.
- Graham (5/5): Adequate and good value for money - Shower was good and hot. Some way to heat water for coffee would be great. Air con remote was unreadable.
- Diogo (9/5): Superb -
- Krystal (7/5): Alright for a budget stay - Good value for money, room smelled a little musty, but was overall quite okay. The two friendly and gentle dogs in the compound are a plus. I did not swim in the pool but it was a nice place to hang out in the morning. I did not feel too comfortable about the "outdoor concept" of the shower and toilet area as I feel like it is a little exposed to the upstairs level of another building.
- Adriana (9/5): Overall a really good stay. - Very cozy and very unique. Feels like we are really close to closure + cute dogs!! Some of part is dirty with lizard mole.
- Jeevan (8/5): Very good -
- Xin (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly boss and dog, nice and cozy place to stay, helpful and good service ☺️
- Nga (8/5): Very good -
- Lorena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Funbox (6/5): Pleasant -
- Naîma (9/5): Very beautiful accommodation near a lot of waterfalls - Not directly in Ubud, but very close to many waterfalls, some of which you can walk to. You can also hire a scooter directly from Ida, for example.
The accommodation has a beautiful garden and pool. Ida is very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, there is no breakfast and no kitchen to use.
The mosquito net was unfortunately broken, but we could have used that.
- Jasmyn (8/5): Very good -
- Savannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - a very beautiful place in a peaceful and secluded spot. the pool is lovely and beds are very comfy, thank you Ida for letting us stay!!
- Alžběta (9/5): Superb - pool, books to borrow, dog, cleanness:3 no free breakfast, even when it was written in the description, no barrel with water
- Gusti (8/5): Very good -
- Bala (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Perfect - Best accommodation we‘ve had so far
- Tony (8/5): Very good -
- Adriyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kazclarke (7/5): Cheap $ but comfy - Ida was an excellent host. He genuinely cares for his clients to get the best experience whilst there. The gardens are lush and refreshing. Tours of the area are available with Ida. The area is quiet and peaceful. No TV.. refreshing!
It's probably good value for the $ OK, it's very aged. If you have any mobility issues then this is not suitable due to steps everywhere. The pool area needs a lot of maintenance, broken tiles and mould around outside area. You are a fair distance to anywhere if you don't have transport. We used gojek and Ida a lot to get around so really not too bad.
**Don't book the room with outdoor bathroom as they continually burn off over the back and your room fills with smoke..
- Drisya (6/5): Pleasant -
- Megan (9/5): Excellent private escape! - The garden was beautiful, with lots of wildlife to explore.
The host was excellent and attentive.
The room was spacious.
Also, loved the doggy! It is slightly far out from Ubud central but this wasn’t a problem for us as we hired a scooter, which the host sorted.
- Gutierrez (8/5): Very good - The place is really cozy and it's perfect to have a relaxing time, it's located on a non so transited spot so is nice to be closer with the locals The bathroom was super cool but the plants where too big so it was a bit uncomfortable to use the toilet
- Giorgia (7/5): Good - The host is amazing! The guest house is very nice and we felt comfortable. The bathroom is private, there is air conditioning and it has comfort. If you need additional towels or room cleaning you can ask the host and he will provide for anything you need right away. Note that at the premise you can only pay by cash. Overall the experience was very good, considering the price. Walls are thin and doors are not too heavy so it is possible that you can hear noises from your neighbours.
- Tushar (7/5): Average stay. But decent value considering the price - Rooms were clean Even basic facilities like water and blankets/ comforters were not there. A single small blanket. No arrangements for any tea or coffee even on payment in the morning. The manager is a curt and not very supportive in solving issues. NO PARKING available!! Big issue if you have a car. Photos of the room are misleading as per the website snaps on Booking!!. The bathroom was an open roof concept with nice peach Lily plants but had a window right on top of the staff room who can peep through while ur bathing etc...which is discomforting!
- Mahmuda (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (8/5): Would definitely stay again. - Ida was so kind and gracious! Such a sweet soul. No breakfast included, as advertised. But Ida made it right.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Josselin (10/5): Exceptional - Ida is super nice and speak really good french and very helpfull
Most beautifull garden ! Nothing everything perfect!
- Gwen (9/5): Perfect! - Really nice location and Ida is super kind and nice!! We stayed here for 2 nights to relax a bit after some traveltroubles and we could have stayed a lot longer. We got some nice snacks every morning and he told us to go to the nearby waterfall. We really liked it here! According to booking there is breakfast however Ida is contacting them for over a year now there he doesn't serve breakfast. We took some grab food so that was okay of course but it is good to know for other people:)
- Aidan (10/5): Great place, great staff, would recommend. - Staff No nearby food
- Ann-kathrin (8/5): Very nice and clean honestly, lovely hosts. The place is central, but calm, away from the buzzing streets. That’s nice. -
- Chawaphon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (8/5): everything is excellent - the vibes nature friendly the bathroom because no bidet and transparent door
- Ida (8/5): Very good - very nice host:-) we were also able to check in early. cute dogs
- Justine (8/5): Very good -
- Valecalza (9/5): Amazing stay! - The Place is just amazing, and Ida and his brother are lovely! There is a Warung just ten minutes from chez ida which is amazing, and a lovely waterfall. Ask them for advices! The breakfast is not included after COVID but since we booked with breakfast included Ida brought us banana fritters and something to eat in the morning:)
- Ellisse (7/5): A pleasant stay with a lovely, attentive host - Ida, the host was a super welcoming, warm and helpful man.
We’re able to rent a motorbike on arrival for the duration of our stay.
The location was good if you like to be away from the business of the town, it was a 20-30 minute bike ride to Ubud.
Given the price per night, this property is decent value for money.
There is an intense dog on site, so be aware of this If you are not keen on dogs. The air conditioning was weak, and we struggled with the humidity within the room.
There was an interconnecting door to the room next door
and so could here guests very loudly.
The bathroom is outside, and could do with some maintenance/ reno due to mould as this makes it appear unclean.
The hot water was temperamental.
We had a gecko living in our room, which left faeces on the floor everyday.
The mosquito net needs changing, we didn’t use as a or appeared dirty and had holes in.
- Gabriella (7/5): Good -
- Anastasia (9/5): great place to stay with a lovely host! :) - Ida is a great host! he’s always happy and helps with everything! the breakfast was nice and the open shower and the pool as well! :) sometimes it’s a bit loud outside in the evening because of all the animals around
- Michelle (9/5): Nice place - Nice room, pool, close to waterfall
- Sarah (9/5): Great place to stay - The bungalows were in very god conditions, clean and spacious. Everything was exactly as had been described and we went directly to the pool upon arrival. Our host Ida was very friendly and communicative and it was great to have good conversations with him. he also gave us some tips as to what we could do in Ubud. There were some dogs on the Allee leading to the bungalows. We later understood that this is quite a normal trend in Ubud (Bali in general) since the dogs are mostly for protection and shouldn’t scare you in anyway.
- Jakub (10/5): chez ida is a beautiful person and je helped us with everything … totaly recommending 5 stars for us -
- Maya (10/5): cute place - nice place, calm
the host is lovely and helpful and even speak french !
he loves his job ! that is really nice
- Matilda (10/5): Exceptional - the garden is so beautiful. ida was so lovely and helpful.
