Guest Reviews
- Randy (10/5): - Property was older than picture showed room was clean but old and used
- Seaford (8/5): - Not much for breakfast
- Raymond (10/5): - Nice location, clean and well run with competent staff.
- Mary (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay.
- David (10/5): Excellent hotel - An excellent hotel, huge rooms with a complete kitchen.
Easy parking and a nice breakfast included. The front desk staff could not have been nicer. Great laundry facilities if needed. I would stay again for sure.
- Shannon (8/5): - Hidden gem in Pinedale. Well worth the stay.
- Alain (10/5): - Very clean and very friendly at a reasonable price.
- Kristen (10/5): - We stayed at the hotel after our backpacking plans were turned upside down by the Dollar Lake Fire. The hotel staff, Sage in particular, were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. It was great to have a kitchen available and plenty of hot water.
- Christian (10/5): - I stayed here before and after a weeklong hike in the wind river range. Very clean, quiet and you can get breakfast as early as 4 am! Bed was very comfortable. Easy parking. Highly recommend it and would definitely come back!
- FRANCES (6/5): Sleepless in Pinedale - Front of the building looks modern and there is plenty of parking. Receptionist was very welcoming and said our room had been upgraded as VIPs. What we got was a room for disabled persons which we did not need. The furnishings are very tired and we got no sleep at all due to the noise from the fridge freezer. There is a full size cooker and coffee machine which we did not use. Recommend Mallards across the street for food. Breakfast was mostly junk foods to heat up or takeaway, no bread for toast. This one night stay was a rest from a long journey before moving on. We got no rest so I wouldn't stay here again. Might be ok for a sound sleeper but not for us.
- Teresa D (10/5): - Very nice hotel and friendly staff!
- Regina (8/5): - The property was fine, but a hot breakfast would have been nice.
- Scott (10/5): - Very nice staff, nice room.
- Wayne (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean and quiet room.
- Suzanne (10/5): - This was a great place to stay for two nights for a rest day and resupply point for backpacking in the wind River range. All the staff were extremely helpful.
- Victor (10/5): - Great service. Great breakfasts. Friendly people. Off road so no road noise
- Robert (8/5): - Convenient and reasonably priced location. Some furniture and bathtub need repairs.
- Lisa (10/5): Really, really nice place. Well worth it! - This place is super clean, smells nice and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. I loved having the kitchen area. It was a really nice stay!
- Vaun (8/5): - The breakfast was mediocre at best, but everything else was nice. Staff was amazing.
- Wade (10/5): - Pinedale is a relatively undiscovered Wyoming town that Yellowstone and Grand Teton visitors would be wise to make part of their trip. This hotel is a little older, but in wonderful condition and the staff and service were excellent! My room had a kitchen! The location is wonderful, and very quiet!
The staff made sure to know that you could gladly take a bag of ice with you for your cooler when you left. That was very convenient!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel with great breakfast - One night stay at this hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Best breakfast of our week long trip with LOTS of choices for hungry travelers!
- Nikunj (6/5): - Room was great with stove and microwave range for cooking, refrigerator, TV and coffee machine. Bed could be more comfortable but was not bad. They said they have breakfast but the staff didn’t “thaw” enough frozen food in advance which was disappointing. Coffee was good.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Friendly faces, great coffee! - The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. This was a two-week long business trip for me and my team and the accommodations were excellent for an extended stay. The beds were comfortable, walls had good sound insulation, blackout curtains were helpful for early bedtime during long summer days, and the coffee was excellent. I believe they get their coffee from a small roaster, which was great for early morning departures before the other coffee shops in town were open!
The daily breakfast was standard continental with only grab-n-go style (microwaveable) hot options. It was actually quite refreshing to me since all the other hotels 'scrambled eggs' in a bag taste the same to me.
Finally, parking and location were great. The parking was large enough to accommodate larger vehicles, and the hotel is located just on the edge of town, but not so far outside of it that you can't get anywhere in under 5 minutes.
If I'm traveling through the area, I'll definitely be staying here again!
- Carmela (10/5): - The room was great. Large, and clean and the staff were friendly.
- Justin (8/5): Great place for vacation stay - Came to the area on a family vacation. The property is very appealing from the exterior. The room worked well for an extended stay. Lots of room to spread out. It was very clean. The room is very dated and ready for some upgrade. The fixtures and beds are tired. The door to the bathroom is in bad need of repair, as is the bathroom door itself. Overall we enjoyed the stay.
- Justin (10/5): - Very nice and relaxing
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Everything was great
- Shinichiro (10/5): - The coffee at breakfast was very good.
- Danny (10/5): Happy travelers - Staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms was exceptionally clean and comfortable.
- David (8/5): - Disappointed about he condition of my bathroom. Chipping/pealing paint through out shower area
- Roger (10/5): - Very nice and reasonably priced accommodations in thriving Pineville near a beautiful lake on the way to the Tetons. What more could you ask?
- Fay (10/5): Fantastic motel - We love this motel. The room was quiet and comfortable. We had a full-sized stove and refrigerator. The air conditioner worked great.
- Gary (10/5): - Large room with a kitchen. Clean, comfortable and a decent breakfast. The entire staff was amazing! Sage was very welcoming when she checked us in. Debbie was a wealth of information on where to go around town, and Hayden and Sandy kept the breakfast room clean and stocked up. We will definitely stay there if we're passing through Pinedale.
- Terri (10/5): - Huge, clean suite with a full kitchen! Almost like home. Staff friendly. Comfy bed. Great stay.
- Tracey (10/5): - Very clean, great breakfast options and variety.
- Heike (10/5): - A bottle of water was our VIP bonus

- Eugene (2/5): - did not like anything - people hanging around outside were questionable.
- Ian (8/5): - Nice breakfast
- Kadi (10/5): - Loved the kitchen setup and breakfast options!
- Toetuu (10/5): - They were very friendly. Had everything ready for me to check in even my keys to the room. Rooms were very clean, spacious, and CLEAN with a CLEAN smell too. Definitely will stay here again.
- Diana (10/5): - Great stay bed was comfortable the breakfast wasn’t the greatest but the service was great! Would recommend this place to other travelers.

- Jeremy (10/5): - Nice place
- Tasha (10/5): - Staff was phenomenal

- Theodore (8/5): Great stay! - Clean and well kept up with.
- Tracy (8/5): - Xxx
- Joan (10/5): - This was the best! Heated floor in the bathroom. Really nice, full kitchen and supplied with basic pots, dishes and utensils. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night.
- Jenny (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful! I was impressed with the size of the room for the price.
- Chris (10/5): - Staff was very nice and the room was perfect
- Sophie (10/5): - In town for volleyball. Loved having access to kitchen. Very convenient.
- Daren (10/5): - Large rooms with full size refrigerator and good size kitchen with stove. Full size laundry facility on site.
- Frances (10/5): Happy to stay here! - We enjoyed your family suite. It was perfect for us and had everything we needed😁
- George (6/5): - no internet
- Cynthia (8/5): - Receptionist actually helped me carry my bag to my room!
- Jane (4/5): - I dont like to write a negative review. But please update your WiFi to today's standard. Otherwise, do not advertise free WiFi when it has not been upgraded since early 2000s ( as confirmed by staff members). Staff is generally very nice and i do think the room is clean. My expectation was pretty low to begin with but the WiFi issue is what the owner needs to address. Breakfast room is tiny and fortunately, theres nothing there we want and the room coffee packs are definitely the highlight- better than expected and netter than the breakfast room coffee. Be sure to make them a bit more concentrated than the instructions on the package. Pros is the cost as compared to the Hampton Inn but.......
- John (8/5): - Convenient for a work trip.
- Jill (10/5): - Very nice. Large room!
- Carmen (8/5): - The location was perfect. The room was very clean and the staff was helpful.
- Steven M (10/5): - Friendly staff gave ideas to enjoy the great outdoors. Very helpful.
- Sue (8/5): - Room was large and clean, but the Bathroom door did not completely shut and the smoke detector was removed.
- James (10/5): - Front desk staff she was very nice and helpful. She responded the restaurant was very busy but food was very good.
- Bernard (10/5): - Nice friendly staff, clean and quiet. Great bed. Would come back again
- Steven (10/5): - Great room!
- Robert (8/5): - Things are a bit worn and battered at the High Country Suites. However, our room was spacious, clean and fairly comfortable; it also included an efficiency kitchen, stove and all which we didn't use. It all depends on the room rate. Get a good rate and you'll be content
- Kenneth (10/5): - Convenient along the highway. Spacious room.
- Kerry (10/5): - Nice, well kept, friendly staff. Recommend adding more options for breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a great place to stay on our way to Tetons. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Coffee not so great, which seems to be the norm. We would stay here again.
- Alethea (10/5): - Great stay— very clean and comfy for what you pay.
- dan (6/5): - Noisy mechanicals; lousy breakfast
- Rodney (10/5): - Nice hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
- Justin (10/5): - Great hotel, great staff
- David (10/5): - Great location
- Patrick (8/5): - Staff was very friendly. We missed breakfast by 15 minutes and they opened the room for us so we could grab a quick to go. Rooms were clean, bed was decent. Nice amenities. Fire alarm a bit sensitive and went off after showering
- Kathy (10/5): - Upon arrival the lady behind the desk was very kind. We also met the new hotel manager. They were both very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast sufficient. Great for lengthy stays as the room had a full size refrigerator, oven and microwave. Would definitely stay here again.
- Ernesto (4/5): Meh - Tv didn’t not work. Sheets didn’t seemed to be changed.
- Kathleen A (10/5): - Very nice place!!! Would definitely stay again!!!
- Kevin (10/5): - Great place for a night after a hard hike
- Barbara (10/5): - Very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was sparse but adequate. I would visit again.
- Dakota (10/5): - Breakfast
- Barbara (10/5): - Great place
- James (10/5): - Nice enough place, very nice friendly staff.
The real only issue was the bathroom door kept trying to close automatically and rubbed on the floor. Very easy fix.
- Julie (8/5): - Great room. Breakfast could use some help. No hot option.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A great place after backpacking. Everyone was nice, bed was comfy and they have laundry
- Gregory (10/5): - Was great
- Verified traveler (8/5): Poor Internet Connection - The internet connection was quite spotty, but otherwise it was a good stay!
- HEATHER (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and room was clean
- Kim (8/5): Nice clean room but lacking in amenities - The reason we chose this hotel was because the website indicated they had free breakfast. The breakfast was very limited with muffins and packaged frozen burritos to microwave. That was very disappointing as we were expecting more breakfast options.
Our key to the room did not work after we lugged a two year old and our bags up and down the halls so we had to go back down. We were on the 2nd floor down the hall around a corner and at the end of that hall. Room 203. We were tired from traveling and very short of breath from breathing the smoke from fires in Montana.
The room was very nice and super clean with a good view. We feel the kitchen could’ve been stocked a little better. There was only one coffee cup. My daughter had lost her voice due to inhaling so much smoke from the fires. We thought gargling warm salt water might help. There was no salt in the kitchen. We went to the “mini store” on the first floor which was also a disappointment because all that was in there was a coffee machine, computer, and a printer. We were hoping to buy some snacks and find some salt. The gal at the front desk was so nice the whole time. Ran our door cards through again and they then worked. She rounded up a salt shaker and I put some in a cup.
There wasn’t anywhere to get drinking water and the ice machine and/or something in that laundry room smelled very moldy.
The kitchen sink and the shower drains were clogged and very slow to drain.
But the hotel and the room were very clean.
- Bryan (10/5): - 👍👍 (two thumbs up)
- Courtney (10/5): - Great hotel we stayed at for one night on a roadtrip to Yellowstone. Had a full kitchen in it and a couch. Nice setup!! The weather was great and a lot of rooms had their windows open. The large hotel windows would slide open, which was nice for some fresh air!! Had everything you needed to cook. We didn't cook, but you could smell breakfast cooking in some of the other rooms, when out in the hallway. We also did laundry here, which was convenient and has nice laundry facilities, almost like a real Laundromat! Receptionist was very friendly when we got there late. Very nice lady! Would recommend this hotel!
- Richard (10/5): - Customer service was amazing!! Very helpful with information about the national parks.
- Vicky Lane (10/5): - I enjoyed that it was well equiped and had a fitness center . The room were roomey and the staff was very helpful!
