Kelly (9/5): Relaxing stay with a hot tub close to Bryson city and Cherokee. - The private hot tub was nice, it had everything we needed including full kitchen, a fire pit and grill and they even comped us a bottle of wine. There was no dish washer so we had to hand wash the dishes but other than this everything was enjoyable.

Carmen (10/5): Perfect sized cabin exactly as pictured! Would definitely stay again. - The cabin was exactly as described! Very clean and in a great location for those looking for a mountain getaway. Individually bagged coffee grounds for the drip machine were provided, which was a nice surprise. Hot tub looked wonderful, though did not use. Great communication from the owners. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but that's all personal preference and did not take away from my stay at all. Cabin balcony did face a fairly busy road, but only busy during the day - by nightfall it was quiet and peaceful.

Alicia (8/5): - The cabin was very cute and peaceful. The hot tub was perfect and the shower got nice and hot, which was great after a long day out. It was easy to find and conveniently located not too far from Ingles if you need groceries. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you could need. The view was okay, but still enjoyable. Overall, I would stay here again if I were planning to do things nearby, though I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a romantic getaway spot Privacy was a bit limited since the cabins are fairly close together and the hot tubs face each other. The futon also wasn’t the most comfortable.

Edward (8/5): - We extended our stay because we love the area. We found this location and the cabin was nice. Loved having a full stove. We had just left a cabin with only a hot plate. The hot tub made the experience. We will definitely come back.
Diana (10/5): Great place for a getaway - Very nice location. Private, very clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a studio (cabin 4 -this was our 2nd stay at Nantahala) it is very cozy. Perfect for the 2 of us celebrating my partners birthday. The hot tub was awesome. The cabin has a full kitchen stocked with pots/ pans/ plates/ cups/ utensils/ coffee pot/microwave/toaster and some baking pans. You only need to bring whatever food and seasonings you want to prepare. There's also a grill (charcoal) outside with a fire pit, picnic table, bench and prep table. It's a great place to relax and unwind. It's only about 25 min to the Cherokee Casino. There are lots of activities around the area for spring/summer that have shuttles or buses. We came in November and we're just looking for laid back relaxing time and that's what we got. Another thing I like is the owners will match whatever tip left for the staff which I think is wonderful! We look forward to coming back again! That we couldn't stay longer.

Raeda (10/5): Returning guests who will return again! - Second time staying with this group. They’re wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located cabins for our love of Great Smoky National Park and the area. The only thing we wish they had was shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap in the shower. We forgot they didn’t provide those and had to go to the store.

Rufus (8/5): Nice place overall. We would stay here again, when we return to the area. - Nice location overall. Not far from various outdoor activities. The back deck was relaxing to sit and rock. The hot tub was nice as well. I would stay here again. The path to the cabin was a bit of a challenge. My truck has a long wheelbase, and the “S” shaped narrow gravel path was a challenge. Also after getting to the cabin, turning the truck back around was a chore. I would still stay here again. I would choose a different cabin, to fit my truck better.
Connie (6/5): - The cabins are pretty close together. There is no privacy on your front porch. The bed was uncomfortable and there is no headboard so your pillows keep falling of the top of the bed. The magazines was dated for 2011 and a phone book for 2014 not that anyone uses a phone book anymore. They had a box of games that was bent up and ready for the trash. The flooring is coming apart so make sure you take house shoes. How to make it better. Update the games, cards, Yahtzee…Place a few small books that someone can go out and rock in rocking chair and enjoy. You can get them at yard sales for 50 cents, but would upgrade the stay. Small notepad, cheap ink pen placed for making notes, again yard sale item. Everything felt basic in the cabin. Go to yard sales. Small throw pillows, artificial plant. Maybe supply a couple waters in the fridge. Fix the window. Cardboard in the window is not very appealing.

Larry (9/5): Nantahala cabin #2 - Very comfortable, well-appointed facilities in a nice wooded area. Convenient location to Nantahala Outdoor Center, Great Smoky Mountains, and Bryson City. All sorts of river and hiking activities. We visited several waterfall sites, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, and did the Nantahala whitewater rafting trip. We also enjoyed the train trip up the Nantahala Gorge and back. Not a bad week for two old foggies in their 80s.If you enjoy outdoor activities, this is a great place and location. Need a headboard or shelf at the head of the beds, and a small chest of drawers to store clothes.
Ed (7/5): These are nice cabins in a pretty setting close to all types of adventure options - The best part of this little cabin is what is on the outside; the deck is very pleasant with two rocking chairs and a nice teak table. The fire pit and charcoal grilling facilities along with the picnic table made for fun evenings outside. The cabins are surrounded by huge trees and forests and the split rail fencing makes for a beautiful setting. The interior of what should have been a cozy and charming cabin is very poorly furnished. Two queen beds and a futon gobble up allmost the entire space of the cabin, great if your sleeping six, but not so great for two. There are no dressers at all, so we had to live out of suitcases laid on the extra bed. The kitchen is fine but needs serious upgrades to it's pots and pans.

Shellenberg (8/5): Comfy cabin in a great location - make sure to use the hot tub! - Cabin #4 - Gone Paddling! - was great for our family of four (but we should note that one of our teens slept on a blowup bed that we brought along). The location is super for visiting Bryson City, SMNP, Nantahala Gorge, etc. The cabin is outfitted with all the basic needs. They provide a lot of towels and paper goods, which is always a plus for me, especially when I don't have access to laundry or housekeeping services. The hot tub was a huge hit and even though it was hot outside, we used it every day after hiking, biking, and rafting. The AC worked great, so it was always a nice temp in the cabin. The managers/owners were super responsive to our inquiries. There was firewood for sale on site. There is a funky/cute bar and ice cream shop just minutes away by car. Nothing really. The primary bed was soft for us, but that is subjective. The grill was rusted through and fell apart while we were trying to use it, but I think that was just because it was on its final leg. I told the owner, and they said they'd replace it. The cabin backs up to the main road, which experiences frequent traffic. The noise didn't bother us, but it might bother other people.

Rebecca (8/5): - The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed.
Scott (10/5): A Yearly Favorite. - I love this place. It’s affordable, comfortable, quiet, quant, and a great launch off place for adventures around the Smokies. This is our second time here and we already want to go back. Also, you can bring your dog. My dog Shadow loves coming and staring from the deck to look for squirrels. The best part is the hot tub. You’ll get spoiled the next time you go to a hotel hot tub and have to share with strangers. There’s a fully stocked kitchen as well. You’re pretty isolated around the Smokies so it’s nice to run to the Ingles in Bryson City and cook at home. Can’t wait to come back!

Owen (5/5): Boring ass all get out - It was secluded and piece full There was nothing no mention of off seson being everything was closed all activities were closed and unless you love to drive 20 minutes or more to find a town there is nothing ,also all hotubs face every other cabin so if your in everyone can see you leavin romance out ass well !

Martin (10/5): This is really an amazing place to stay and enjoy. - Our experience in Nantahala Cabins was really amazing. These cabins have everything you can imagine you will need to make you feel like if you live here. Some are pet friendly (if you are bringing pets make sure you select 'or are assigned' a friendly one). Pet policy is also prefect, as they state you cannot leave pets unattended, unless in a crate; and this comes the best part: they provide the large and I would say Luxurious crate themselves. Fee might be a little more flexible, but you can bear it, and probably we ourselves deserve that (our pets are really well behaved, but you never know). Communication with management is superior; they are in the premises and take care of you as is your were from the First Class Deck. If you stay here you won't regret and you will clearly understand what we mean. Yes, I said select or 'are assigned' a cabin, because you may select one, but they may assign a different one due to actual conditions, like in our case that previous guests decided to stay longer (it seems they liked it, no wonder) we were upgraded; no complaints at all. Just double check you check- in instructions, especially the key code, with them prior to arrival. Surroundings are pretty cool, Bryson is a very cute city, make sure you evaluate attractions in advance and also make reservations in advance, like for the tour train, yes the train; we missed because it was sold out. And also The Lost Sea Adventure (well, it is not that close, but closer than home; missed).

Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - I loved how clean and cozy the cabin I rented was. Everything that was in the policy agreement was all true statements I do believe. The only thing that I didn't like to much was the check out time of 10am. Think it should be 11 or 12 for check out time!
Wynette (9/5): Wonderful cabin with hot tub - We just loved the cabin, it had everything we needed. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay! Beautiful view from the porch and hot tub. Nice fire pit. It was our anniversary and they put a special Happy Anniversary sign up for us. The Thanksgiving bottle of wine was also a welcome gift.

Communication &customer service was A1. They even offered to ship an item I left behind. We are already planning our trip back with the whole family!

Verified traveler (2/5): BED BUGS!!! - We booked due to the great reviews- these HAVE to be fake/paid reviews. Beds are literally a thin mattress on top of a literal piece of plywood with legs on the bottom. Hair on shower walls and no body wash- but there was hand soap in the shower in its place. Dust bunnies in all corners- just not kept up. Now the worst part- about 30 mins after laying in bed I broke out in huge hives- after the swelling went down, we were able to see clearly defined bed bug bites - yuck. It was already midnight, so we had to stick it out. First thing in the morning, we booked a new hotel and left. Upon telling management about the bites and bedbugs, their response was “it’s the woods, there will be bugs”. I reiterated that these are BED BUGS not normal bugs. The response was that they’d have pest control take care of it before the next guests. They then refused a refund for the 2nd night that we didn’t stay. Hotels.com had to get involved and after viewing the photos we sent refunded us.

Michael (2/5): Address on website is not where you are staying. - Had family rent 3 cabins from this property All three cabins have the same address. But I’m actually the address is different. Two cabins are at the same address but the third one was off site at approximately 37 minutes away from the other two. The property shared with us the address information the day we were to arrive. We shared with them that the misleading information on the website and they shared that they could not do anything for the first night because it was too late. Jeanette, the property owner/manager shared that we should have told her we were together in the beginning. We didn’t call her because all cabins have the same address. I shared with her my frustration but was met with “ I can’t do anything “. We did not stay at our cabin any of the nights but was still charged because I should have known that the address are different. The address on the website is the office address not where you will be staying. Never again.
Dylan (10/5): Great host, exactly as pictured - Clean and as pictured in the photos. Nothing fancy, but has just the right level of amenities. The hot tub is amazing! Always clean and ready for guest. Fabulous cabin for a dog too. Close to potty spots and set back from the road away from traffic.

Flores (2/5): Very poor - Place nice!!! Means the hill only!! 1st we was looking for 1 cabin to be together. So never explain me about 2 cabins till after pay, show me what hapen and i had no choice to cancell. Now we are bikers. And 3 of them have accident fell down,1 person had injuries. And have damages on bikes. The road is so bad for regular cars. I guess are only for 4x4 cars can go up to the hill. So you never explain how bad are the roads. This is not for bikers or regular cars.. now tha cabins smell too much Humedity.(moister) wich is bad and can't see,but moister are behind walls. I do construction work and i know this cabins are too old and bad. Now the Bedrooms so small and old matress.... everybodye was disagree. (On both cabins.). Hope you take care on remodelatiin and change beds.... $ the price is so expensive for what you are offering. We lost money in our trip, we did not enjoy. We have to fix our bikes and we can't do anything. Hope you explain and tell the truth to new costumers. So sad..

Michele (1/5): Disappointing - We booked the cabin on booking around 3pm and then drove there. The owners were unreachable via their 24/7 phone number for over an hour. We had to call booking.com to get them to respond. The appliances are rusty. The bathrooms are stained. The linens smell musty.
Michael (10/5): Great place - Great little cabin! We stayed in cabin 4 keep paddeling. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great! Bed was too soft for us, but it wasnt unbearable. When we did our online check in they asked if we were celebrating anything and we told them our 31st wedding anniversary when we arrived there was a happy anniversary garden flag and a bottle of wine on the table. Great litte gesture. Wpuld definitely recommend!
Eric (10/5): Already planning on going again with other families and kids! - The cabin’s pictures do not do it justice. The place is great for kids and pets. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were so great we didn’t even wind up using our own ones! The hot tub was clean and so easy to operate. The location is right off the highway, so you do hear vehicles but I liked that it was so close to the highway so that we could go to the swim rec lake (5 min drive), into Bryson City(15 min drive), or the Smoky National Forest. The kitchen is fully stocked, just awaiting a small stop at say Darnell Farms in Bryson and a stop at Bryson Food Store.

Beech (10/5): Nantahala Cabins.. home away from home - Beautiful setting for this intimate cabin. Owners were so thoughtful and there for any thing we needed, but were not there in our face. Every thing we needed (like at a hotel) was provided. I have NEVER been to a hotel or cabin that was this CLEAN. Everything was SPOTLESS! Everything was honestly at or above expectations. If anything could be different, I would have a different bed and pillows.. but that is personal preference so it doesn't really count.
