Last year I stayed at a hotel just down the road and they had a bachelor party and that's all the did was smoke weed. We had to move our room because I was getting sick. There was a party next door of women that were loud but it didn't last to long.

- Amy (8/5): Beautiful landscape horrible food. - The beach was beautiful but there were no fire pits or chairs as advertised The “breakfast” was aweful for the price of the hotel Legit grain sludge. Nothing but carbs. No meats and protein no fresh food.

But at the same time, I think I’ll pass on breakfast and go out. Everything else was awesome. I truly enjoyed the petite cake room with a private balcony. Everything about the room was quite nice. Bathroom included no complaints and thank you.

- Jane (10/5): A great place to stay in Traverse City! - We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the water. It was quiet. We appreciated the breakfast . The coffee in the lobby was good. We would have preferred a smart TV. We cut the cable long ago and can barely watch what is available, regardless of how many channels. The good news is that it got us to go and explore downtown.

To pay for a beach view and have just a single door kinda stinks, especially when there is a warning of bugs if left open. I wish there was screen option available to allow open doors overnight.

Also, could not enjoy the balcony at night as bugs swarmed you (not the fault of the hotel). A bit pricey, especially since there is no pool and other price comparable places have one.
