Guest Reviews
- Sascha (8/5): - The room was clean and property itself was clean but the area surrounding the property felt unsafe. I am also a person of color so perhaps that had something to do with it. Overall good hotel!
- Orlando Alberto (10/5): - This is my second time staying here and I absolutely love it. My mom actually enjoyed it they were very accommodating even though we were checked in after hours.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - While the rooms and staff were nice, location was not. It is not near anything and at night I was not comfortable with the vibe. There is no staff on site after 8, locks were not screwed on the door completely and a weird guy was lurking around.
- Karleen (8/5): Great - Front desk reception very helpful always and friendly excellent customer service will recommend 👍
Only thing was that the refrigerator was not to clean in my floor.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff at The Bricks were wonderful! They were extremely welcoming and helpful. I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing and helpful staff. Great location. Very clean and warm. Would stay again!
- Mariana (4/5): Avoid this place - To be honest, the place is very clean, however it is not a hotel it is more like a hostel. I was very disappointed with the service the Bricks provided. I went with my family. The room was clean but was filled with mosquitoes and bugs everywhere. Also, the air conditioning was not working. It was heat only or nothing. Upon telling the staff about these problems, the staff was completely unsympathetic. They informed me if I wanted air I would just open the rear doors for air but if I did that more bugs and mosquitoes would come in. Also, I asked for a new room, they told me I had to pay extra to change the room, even though the hotel issues were their problem. To add to it, the owner happened to be there when the issue was brought up and his response was “here is some off for the mosquitoes “. This was unacceptable. No compassion at all was shown and this was very disappointing. Additionally, this hostel is very far from all the tourist/landmarks (city). Transportation such as a bus/ metro or taxi must be taken to het everywhere. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and I would suggest to find something else. Overall it was a horrible experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): When in Rome... - The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. We liked that there was a full kitchen and supplies. It was also close to the metro station.
- Christian (10/5): - Excellent staff, they provided indications for me to go to the most popular places in Rome. Very good service and attitude!!!
- Myrna (8/5): - Nice staff, clean rooms, close to Vatican
Thank you.
- Bruce (10/5): - Very helpful staff who explained the bus and subway system and sold us the cards we needed to take pubic transportation to the sites we had planned to see. Would have taken cabs or walked. Saved us time and money.
- aida (6/5): It is not a hotel to go with family - We were expecting a better place. The pictures are beautiful but the reality is different.
It is fine for a hotel of step but not to take children. Men enter and leave all the time and the reception is not open 24 hrs.
the area was not to our liking. we feel insecure when walking around there
We didnt change the hotel because the lady (Dara) who was in the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. I don't said is the worse but i dont recommend it ti someone to cisit Rome for first time .
- Soraya (10/5): Amazing experience! - As soon as we arrived at our hotel, we were greeted by a friendly staff. They were the friendliest and most informative staff I have ever encountered. The hotel itself was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean! Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Rome.
- Natividad (10/5): Great place to stay. - Great location, plenty of parking if you are driving or public transportation if not but the best part was the hotel staff, special mention for Giada, she made our stay feel more like with friends than staying at a hotel. Great experience in Rome.
- Merilyn (10/5): Really nice, modern and friendly place. - Just come back from Rome and have nothing but praise for The Bricks. Central to most things, nice, clean and modern with great attention to detail. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.
- TT (10/5): Excellent stay. Highly recommend! - Easy to get to hotel from train station (took public transportation). Hotel staff was incredible!! Sat down with us to show us how to get to all of the "go-to" sites of Rome. Room was great. A/C worked like a charm (we were there during a heat wave). Metro only a short walk from the hotel. Hotel staff arranged for a car to take us to the airport (for a fee). Very convenient.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - My stay at the Bricks Rome was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. This was saying a lot because I hadn't been receiving the best treatment in Italy. The staff was accommodating with every question that was asked with giving us directions and food places to eat. Overall it was the best place we stayed. The facilities were clean and someone was always around. I really appreciated being on site. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome, Italy.
- THOMAS (10/5): - Staff was very helpful
- Verified traveler (10/5): Everything you need - This hotel has everything you need for your visit. Staff are very helpful and it is located close to a bus and metro stop. We had a great time there
- Liege (6/5): clean and tidy but strange location - The hosts were very friendly BUT overall I was not impressed. The location is strange: it is not far from town and ordinarily I would walk but it is not really a good place to walk; so I ended up using the bus. Yes, the bus stop is really really close to the hotel but the service is not very frequent. Then there was the room: it was clean, bright, and comfortably sized but there was no bedside table, no bedside lamp. So... do you put your glass of water, your book, your phone etc on the floor? I do not like that. I asked for this in the morning and it was immediately put in the room, but it was the first time I had to ask for a bedside table and lamp. Then, one of my pet hates: two single beds pushed together to look like a double bed. The ones in my room moved in the night so there was a gap between them. Not comfortable. No safe in the room, no suitcase stand (again, I had to leave stuff on the floor). All in all, I feel the owners are trying to do their best and the place is clean and tidy, but I did not find it very comfortable and the location was just awkward.
