- valdim (8/5): Good for short stay - They have strange check in time - 3 pm. Otherwise, decent hotel. Comfy bed, charging sockets for EU plugs. In general, dont make my mistake to foget travel adapters for the sockets. KSA uses the British standard.
- leeandja (10/5): Fabulous 7 nights stay at Aloft Dhahran - The hotel is strategically located in a prime area, right in front of Dhahran Mall, IKEA, and the largest Toys R Us in Saudi Arabia (there’s even an entire building dedicated to it!). If you’re visiting Saudi with young children, this is definitely the ideal place to stay. The hotel staff were amazing and exceptionally friendly, always willing to help. They recognized my Bonvoy privilege membership and upgraded me to a suite without hesitation. Breakfast spread at Dine Restaurant was great. During weekdays, I had to leave early, and they thoughtfully prepared generous and delicious packed breakfasts for me each time. I was truly impressed by their professionalism and the genuine care they showed throughout my stay. This is definitely a hotel I highly recommend, whether for leisure or business. InsyaAllah, I’ll be back with my family soon and hope to experience the same excellent service, if not even better. Well done, Aloft Dhahran!

But unfortunately my order did not arrive. The cook and the waiter is not aware where my order go. May be it was given to another table. They do not have system. Grilling and serving should be first in and first out. The cook or the waiter must be aware also to whom the orders will be served to avoid missing orders or orders given go another customer by mistake. No system at all. Sorry but I will rate a very low level of service.

- marklC9950AW (8/5): Fresh and friendly hotel - Good first impressions: fresh and comfortable lobby and check-in was friendly and efficient. Really nice room with very comfortable bed. Overlooking busy road at Dhahran Mall but the room was well soundproofed so was not disturbed at all. Well equipped bathroom with a spacious, powerful shower. Hotel facilities looked good. Decent gym and swimming pool on the roof. Padel court too, which I didn’t use but it looked in excellent condition. Staff were very friendly without exception. Makes a big difference to be greeted warmly at every turn. Breakfast was decent value (ask for a discount when checking in) but after four days was getting quite repetitive and the food was average. Nothing to get excited about. Overall this hotel was excellent value and great quality. I’ll stay there again when I’m next in the Eastern Province.

The hotel offer a buffet however I was early so opted to order from the main menu. Despite the staff setting up for the buffet service which looked lovely, my salmon order was simple but surprisingly flavoursome. My server Yvette was very professional and even though I was the only one dining at the time she was still attentive and friendly.
