Brigitte (8/5): Néanmoins notre séjour fut du plus agréable . - J’ai aimé le calme de l’hôtel et l’extrême gentillesse du personnel . Par contre, le breakfast manque de variété : beaucoup d’omelettes accompagnées de différentes choses . Il manque des laitages ( yaourts) et du beurre . Un jus de fruit frais serait mieux qu’une canette pleine de sucre.

Karolina (10/5): Best Vacation Ever! - Embrace Resort, the island, the people, the vibe, the beach, the water, everything absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived until the last day, I felt at home! Gabby picked me up at the airport, the most adorable person! Miss you already! She gave me a tour of the island in the little buggy, showed me where everything is and she was so nice and helpful! Dymond, the chef from the cafe is also the amazing and super nice and prepares the best breakfast wrap :) Absolutely recommend staying there and most of all going on their pig’s tour, which is a dream come true! Thank you for the beautiful memories, I truly felt like I was part of your island family! Everything amazing!

You will be greeted at the airstrip with a smile and big hug and picked up via golf cart ! Staniel Cay and the surrounding exuma cays are so beautiful ! The water is exquisite ! Pool loungers and pool very nice . The mattress in Eluethera cottage was not very comfortable. No cushion at all. Would be nice if the Flying Pig Cafe was open at least until 6p. There are no other dining places except big dogs and the Yacht club. I didn't want go to the Yacht club everyday so I bought some extra food at lunch and kept in my room refrigerator and heated it up for dinner since there is also a microwave in your cottage.

Brian (10/5): Awesome spot, stay here! - Awesome spot! Very clean, Exuma building was very big for our family of 6. Breakfast was hot and choice of the menu (and free), great food (and fast, not typical 45 minute "Bahama time")! Staff was VERY attentive to everything. They were up early each day cleaning the grounds. View of airplanes and ramp for the little airport from our top deck and windows. Island is walkable, but golf cart preferred (especially hitting the secluded beach areas - don't miss Pirate Trap beach, its beautiful!). Resort is very affordable relative to the other options. We rented our own boat to get around for 2 of the days ($350/day), dock was 30 second walk away. We will be back to Embrace, coolest Bahama out island ever and we've been to most!

Brenda (8/5): - Embrace Resort was a lovely, quiet spot for our few days of vacation. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast and lunch from the Pig Café was delicious. Our only issue was them not providing dinner there but we were able to get dinner elsewhere. All of the staff working in the café, in the office, on the grounds were very friendly and helpful in every way. All around a great few days away.
Elizabeth A (10/5): - Wonderful experience at Embrace. The villa was clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They can help you book an excursion and/or a golf cart rental! The onsite cafe is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. They are open until 3pm Monday-Saturday so plan meals accordingly. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The cleaning was not done until they saw the guests and then asked if they need cleaning. They have the facilities to do so well but decide to do the minimum.
Jennifer (5/5): Appalling Service. - The pool was refreshing and clean after a day in the ocean in the sun. This booking from start to finish was appalling. I could write a pamphlet on how to NOT run a hotel based on my experience from trying to communicate multiple times 3 months before arrival and the 6 stressful days spent trying to comprehend what on earth was happening here. There was little to no communication, I tried contacting them 4 different ways ahead of time with almost no success. As a matter of fact after we arrived by foot because my call, lwondering where our ride was never showed up, I was told they didn't think we were coming. Fortunately I had all my information that I had paid 50% and filled out the golf cart info because the owner tried to say I hadn't. Need to get picked up at the airport so you don't have to drag all your luggage like anyone else arriving for a boat pick up or checking in to the yacht club, forget it. Your "kitchenette" consists of a frozen college dorm fridge & microwave. The grill listed was a choice of one totally 100% rusted out, the newer one didn't have a tank, my husband was able to find one on the property that was so old and rusted in the states would have been illegal to use. Need your room serviced? Fresh towels? Toilet paper? Make sure you are explicitly clear and be sure to explain you also want coffee replenished as well, or like many of our neighbors you will be disappointed. I asked if there was anyone on the island that made rum cakes, "I'll look into" it amounted to nothing. I'm not even sure if I have enough room to explain our food experience. We had breakfast available 2 of the 6 days, all guests were told 8am, staff arrived a minimum of 15 after that and typically ended up sending us all to the yacht club because they ended up not being open for breakfast. Meanwhile your prebooked boat excursions were ready to leave at 8:30am.

Gabby Sexi Dezi, Taija, Captain AJ, the chef was excellent can't remember her name and most impressive Shenika who decorated our room. My honey and I were celebrating 22yrs of Love. I'm from New Providence and would have love to find some boil or stew fish for breakfast. However the restaurant service was on point.
Maria (10/5): A special place with special people! - Celebrating our 10 yr anniversary and bucket list experience to see the swimming pigs, our stay at Embrace was so wonderful! The staff were top notch professionals-friendly, responsive, helpful and fun. The location cannot be beat- just a short walk from the airport, the beach and the yacht club. We rented a golf cart and a boat from Mr. Rolle which gave us freedom to explore the islands nearby. Tajia and the rest of the team, Gabby, Dexi, and Dee made us feel like family. And those run cakes that “mom” made at the Flying Pig Cafe were scrumptious, (we literally can’t stop talking about those cakes). Embrace Resort exceeded our expectations in every way and the staff are delightful! Highly recommend!

Maria (9/5): Would recommend! - Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were greeted at the airport and taken on a complimentary tour of the island. In close proximity to the airport. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful common areas. Just be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sundays (as everything else on the island). However, our breakfast at the Yacht Club that day was kindly compensated. The hot tub wasn't functioning.
Thomas (6/5): - I contacted the property 3 times prior to arrival to set up a pickup and inquire about activities, no one ever contacted me back. Upon arrival I had to walk to the resort from the airport. After I finally found someone to check me in at the property she apologized and promised to do better. When I looked for her 40 minutes later to ask about WiFi she was gone. I texted the help number but didn’t get a reply until 2 days later which was after I checked out a day early because I was unhappy with the place. To be fair the room and the property are very nice so if they were to do better on the service part it would be a nice place to visit
Jaimi (7/5): Happy enough, don't regret the stay - We appreciated the warm welcome, the assistance with trying to arrange excursions, and having our own little house during our stay. Also the convenient location next to the airport enabled us to walk between the two (even with luggage). The accommodation was neatly prepared, with plenty of extra towels for pool, etc. The receptionist also provided advice about places to visit on the island. We requested someone to meet us at the airport upon arrival (we didn't realize how close it was), but no one was there. Some updating of the accommodations would improve things (repair leaking window in the dining area, replace / repair air conditioners so that they work properly and don't leak massive amounts of condensation into the room). The kitchen could be more thoroughly fitted and with newer items (very old pots and pans, limited cutlery / dishes)
William (7/5): Good - Quiet Never could get my TV to work so I couldn’t watch news or games in down time. No one in office could fix it. Friends TV worked fine but he watched different things than me.

Brittny (10/5): Honeymoon - Taija was so very helpful upon arrival and even provided a map of the restaurants, stores and beaches on the island and recommended the local spots. She was so kind and informative we immediately knew we were in the right spot! The flying pig cafe was closed on Sunday along with the grocery stores on the island so you will need to eat your meals at the yacht club if you don’t have a kitchen like we didn’t.

Patricia (7/5): If you're looking for something cheap for a week this is the place to stay. - Breakfast was included and was delicious but you have to remember your on island time so don't be in a hurry to get it. The staff was very nice and let us keep the golf cart the last day so that we didn't have to walk to the airport in the rain. Sometimes the staff would not be in the office but when they were, they were very accommodating. The rooms were old but were comprable for the price that we paid. The bed was old and sinking in. There was a party on the property that went on until 2:30 in the morning for two days. It was difficult to sleep listening to that all night.

Our accommodations we very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exploring the island. The staff work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Shout out to Nikki, Tajia, Gabby, Dexi, Dee, Davanta and all the other staffers and workers. Make sure you take an excursion to see several great places in the area. Captain K was the best!! The pool was clean and refreshing. Some of the plates and pots and pans were showing a bit of wear. The furniture could use some updating, as well. There really wasn't much we didn't like.

Mikhail (9/5): Superb - We spent 4 nights at Embrace for my daughter's 18th birthday and had a lovely time! Gabbi and her sisters took great care of us. Our cottage (Exuma) was well-appointed (and reasonably priced given the space of two bedrooms, large upstairs living room and full kitchen and dining space, and two decks upstairs and downstairs overlooking the small pool). Plenty of movies for us to watch on TV at night. A/C in every room is quiet and works great - but we did not need it downstairs, as nights were cool (April). Embrace has one of two actual restaurants on the island (the other being the Yacht Club) and serves from breakfast until 9pm, which was a great boon for us, given that stores close at 5:30pm and several other advertised restaurants do not seem to actually exist or else are never open. Gabbi also rented us a golf cart which was very useful for getting around the island. Embrace set up for us our excursion to Pig Beach, sandbar, snorkeling with sharks (my personal favorite), grotto (we skipped) and iguanas. Our boat captain (Captain Perry) is of good cheer and worked to make sure we had a good time at each stop. We had brought our own snorkel gear but Cap'n Perry had gear available to borrow in a pinch. We asked for a second trip back to Pig Beach, which Gabbi's sister set up for us (for a reasonable price even though we were the only ones on the boat). There were plenty of other options for excursions (to Land and Sea Park, for example) that Embrace would have arranged for us if we had the time. Basically, Cap'n Perry or Cap'n "Fishy" will take you wherever you want to go with a day's notice. All in all very positive experience. We would stay at Embrace again if we return to Staniel Cay.

Ryszard (9/5): Wery good value for money with friendly atmosphere - Hotel is very conveniently situated close to the airport and main attractions of Staniel Cay. Rooms are spacious and quite well equipped. There is a small pool and space to relax just opposite all villas. Breakfast were good and local restaurant served also lunch, dinner and drinks. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We would stay there again if we visit Staniel Cay in future. Noise form the airplanes but fortunately mostly in the mornings and evenings only. More glasses and other kitchen equipment in the rooms would be helpful.

Katherine (4/5): - We were pretty disappointed. The cafe was not what we expected. The cappuccino was just a coffee, there was no foam. They would not make substitutions like adding chicken to a panini. Some of the photos they used on instagram were not real. They were closed on Sunday and we were unable to rent a golf cart Saturday. The floors were filthy. There was hair in the shower. The water in the shower never got hot. The bed was very uncomfortable and we barely slept. We ran out of toilet paper and no one was around on Sunday to help us and every store was closed. They should’ve kept an extra roll somewhere. Overall I would say to keep looking elsewhere. Really wish we had a better experience.
Shabnam (7/5): Good overall but needs improvements - The resort staff are friendly and try to help as best as they can. All the basics one needs are provided in the room. The bed was very uncomfortable and the resort is located right next to the airport which makes the mornings and afternoons (when there's flights in and outbound) very loud.
Brian (9/5): Very comfortable, memorable and helpful and friendly staff. - The ladies running the Embrace resort were all extremely helpful and friendly. Really made for a wonderful stay. We also loved the swimming pool - great to cool off in. And the food at the cafe was delicious, with a varied menu. The bed was also very comfortable. Staniel Cay is a very special place. And staying at the Embrace Resort was an absolutely fantastic experience for us. A couple more glasses to drink from in the room would have been useful.

There is a great restaurant on site and the staff helped organise activities which were unforgettable and will be treasured forever.

Merritt (7/5): Good - Staniel Cay is an amazing vacation destination due to close proximity of Thunderball Grotto, Iguana beach, Pig island and Compass Cay for Shark petting, AND the Embrace Resort is a really good choice. Rooms are more than adequate and having stayed there twice now and in 2 different villas I can reliably make that statement. Value is the real issue as we paid $30 USD for 2 coffees, and about the same price for 2 mixed drinks in the evening at the on site Cafe. Fortunately our breakfast was included in the booking so that was a substantial savings each day - and we dont go on vacation here to scrimp but it was just very high prices for some things. Same with Golf cart rental at $60/day - that is more than a car in many places! Do go see pirates beach! It is 10 minute easy walk from Embrace and is simply breathtaking. Also, if you have the time rent a boat and go to Little Farmers Cay 12NM to the South and enjoy Tys on the water, or venture to The Ocean Cabin for some great local food.

We didnt need the room to be cleaned while we were there so that wasnt an issue. And the accommodations made for our honeymoon were very sweet. Thanks for the wine!

Dayna (6/5): - The villa was clean and comfortable with a nice small pool. It was right next to the airport which wasn’t the worst since it’s so small and there aren’t many flights going in and out. But it’s not very pretty. On my day of arrival. They were 45 minutes late to pick us up from the airport—really not fun and kind of scary being alone with two kids not knowing if they were going to show up at all and not knowing the place was literally 50 feet away. They told me they didn’t come get us because our room wasn’t ready due to plumbing issues. :(. Its not near anything so golf carts are a necessity which I did not feel they made clear. The tv did not work, which with kids in August, I was counting on for some downtime out of the sun. The internet is very spotty-like barely there. They offer you a cooler to bring to the beach but the ice machine is broken. One day I went to the office four times throughout the day and no one was there so I had to buy my own toilet paper. Two days before my departure they abruptly brought me in the office directing me to leave my kids somewhere else because they “wanted to talk to me”. When I entered the office they were just looking at me so I asked if something was wrong. At that point they handed me my bill. It was weird and left me feeling like they thought I wasn’t going to pay or something. There’s just a weird feeling to the place. I would definitely pass and next time rent a cottage near pirate beach or right from the Yacht Club.

Stephen (3/5): Not a warm Embrace. - The exterior of the Villas were ok but once inside they were in need of maintenance and cleanliness. 2 out of 3 blown lightbulbs in the kitchen ceiling and no lightbulbs in some table & floor lamps. Broken can opener & kettle. No dish towels. Some of the furniture looked dirty and a lighter was found in the sheets of one bed on the 1st night. There were TVs in all bedrooms and the living room but they had no service even though Cable boxes were connected. We were told that they used to have satellite service but did not like it, so it was disconnected. The property had great potential but there seemed to be a serious lack of managerial oversight.
